MITAGS-West: what do users think?

Marlo Holloway: I just finished taking by Basic Fire Fighting course with Mitags for my job with WSF. I cannot say enough good things about the instructors.I was so impressed when I first entered the building, there are so many classrooms and classes offered here for Mariners.Mike our classroom Instructor has so much experience and knowledge and he brings that into the classroom. You could tell that he really wanted you to be successful.Piper our practical hands on skills instructor was also top notch. He is such an asset to Mitags. He and the other instructors really made us feel like we could "do hard things". The group of 15 I went through the class with were all novices and we all did really well. Thank you Mitags for the service you provide to mariners in the Seattle area and beyond.LOVED IT!!!!

Divers Institute of Technology: what do users think?

W D: This place changed my life, the teachers and staff are great.Found a really good friend that helps run the school still and i still continue to learn and dive with the help of the school.Would not be where i am if it wasn't for d.i.t.

Brandon Plutino: Becoming a commercial diver was a dream of mine for ages. Prior Navy and lover of the ocean i left Texas and traveled to Seattle to attend DIT, which I have always known to be the top tier dive school in the USA. When I arrived, I was impressed by the seasoned dive instructors' knowledge in the trade, their willingness to share their love of the industry, and professionalism in doing so. They offer in-depth and hand's on training in many facets regarding underwater operations as well as operations topside. One of the more rewarding things I gained from DIT were from the first month. Medicine and physics. The less hand's on part of the course but absolutely necessary and important. Since attending DIT I have had to use what i learned in the first month of medicine and life-saving procedures in a real-life emergency situation when a fellow diver had an unforseen malfunction. Fortunately the in depth training prompted me, without hesitation to act quickly and retrieve the diver, evaluate condition and perform necessary life saving procedures in time to send him home safely to his family. Had it not been for the training from these top dive instructors the day could have been tragic. Between all of the schools to choose from, I'm glad to have chosen DIT and proud to have been a student. Thank you kindly DITMel's Angels 😇 😉

Ethan MacKAy: Looks great. But for that one review about the dude that was a diver and is now disabled. I'm not sure how safe it would be to be underwater doing commercial diving when you can't even walk.

Tina Hoffman: . She is the admissions officer and if you are thinking about commercial diving school and need help getting started with the Q and A...call Michelle! My son attended DIT last year and it was a tough transition. He was only 20 years old and moved 3000 miles away from ALL of his family and friends. He flew out to Seattle, unaccompanied, and I was frantic...barely moderately sane over him leaving home.I called Michelle. And I called her and called her and called her... She checked on my son and made sure my questions were answered. Eventually, the helicopter flew only over my son on Sunday nights when I sent Grub Hub.My son graduated in late January and we set out for a week long road trip of the Pacific Northwest. Two days in,

Nicholas Dougherty: Best dive school around. I had an absolute blast here.

Brandon Blueback: I’ve never been but I’m open water dry suit nitrox computer and surface supplied air and cpr&aed certified. And I already did my fasfa and it said I’m basically approved question is do you guys accept disabled people. In November I had back surgery I’m relearning how to walk everything is back besides my function of my right foot makes it a challenge to walk will that effect you guys accepting me?

Ethan Spang: Excellent school. Going through DIT I was very impressed with the safety standards set by the instructors, along with the care and constant upkeep and maintenance of all the equipment. Not only did they show interest in your well being and success at the school, there were daily post-meetings with the instructors and they would check in with students to see how they were doing out of school with stuff like living, food, and mental health. There was a lot of dive time and unlimited resources/tutors to help with school work. There were so many job offers a month before our class even graduated. I was able to keep a job to support myself fully while going to school. With my experience at DIT, I wouldn't want to have picked anywhere else to get my training.

Angela Jackson: Great school, my son had an amazing experience

Nathan “Nate” Underwaterguy: I graduated from this institution of higher learning over a decade ago. I would not be in the position that I'm in now without this school of commercial diving. My career started HERE!

Mcx Cxaxve: This training is outstanding. The instructors are world class divers. JP, Frank, and Willy are Navy legends. The staff are there to help you succeed. International certification and standards that rival the US Navy. Completing this course was one of the best times of my life.

MinoThe Goddess (MinoTheGoddess): then I wouldn’t ever regret my decision . This will be the best choice you make I can guarantee that. ♥️ So if you’re looking through the reviews to help you decide on DIT, this is me saying , take the leap and become apart of the family!

Ellis Johnson: I'm a student

Emily Batterberry: I graduated from Tint in July 2020! Let me start with, I can’t say enough good things about Tint, the educators & staff! I looked around at a few different makeup programs in Washington, and when I visited Tint and met Manhal and some of the other staff..I was sold! Learning about their program and what they offered, I knew I was going to get more than I ever dreamed of! Their makeup program is absolute perfection! There is such a variety of makeup styles/techniques that’ll you learn, from beauty, stage, spfx, runaway, bridal, HD, and so much more! You’re going to learn it all! Kit building, sanitation, all aspects of makeup, working with hairstylist, photographers, on set etiquette, building your brand/website, and so on!The educators/staff are the true beauty of Tint in my opinion. Everyone’s learning style is different and they make it possible to learn/understand everything their teaching you. They work hard to improve each person skills and do it in ways that’s most beneficial for the each student that comes through their doors. The staff and director helped support me in landing an incredible job opportunity even during the struggles of this industry during a pandemic. There were many adjustments to the curriculum during the COVID19 pandemic, including online education and extra sanitary caution. I feel ready to pass the State Boards exam and start a new career.

Flatiron School: what do users think?

Kamal605 Madbar: . Every mod shows exceptionally significant abilities in the Software Engineering industry. Also, in my pursuit of employment, I discovered numerous chances where my new abilities were regularly in the required or favored abilities segment of sets of responsibilities. Being a Flatiron understudy requires devotion and difficult work, yet I guarantee it's totally awesome! Flatiron additionally has adjusted to virtual adapting extraordinarily well and makes a solid local area among accomplices. I created solid associations with my partner mates and have worked with a considerable lot of them on projects post-graduation. Discussing post-graduation, Flatiron offers individualized week after week profession advising that has been important during my pursuit of employment.

Dana Jackson: I attended the 15 week intensive full time software engineering bootcamp at Flatiron. I was part of the Seattle cohort, but because of Covid-19 the program was conducted entirely online. I thought that would be a drawback but it ended up being great. With no commuting I had more time to dedicate to coding and I was able to fit in a few more to-do's each day, like going for a run or getting an errand done. This program is an amazing way to learn a new skill very quickly. The structure of the program is excellent, and allows for self motivated learning but also provides a lot of much needed direction. I came from the performing arts so I was afraid I would be a fish out of water, but I had no trouble jumping right into the new material. My instructors were truly top tier educators, and really cared about my success. I cant say enough positive things about my experience at Flatiron. I feel it gave me the boost I needed to change my life and launch into a new career with confidence and momentum.

Matthew Sedlacek: . Each mod teaches very relevant skills in the Software Engineering industry. Moreover, in my job search, I found many opportunities where my new skills were often in the required or preferred skills section of job descriptions. Being a Flatiron student requires dedication and hard work, but I promise it’s absolutely worth it! Flatiron also has adapted to virtual learning exceptionally well and creates a strong community among cohorts. I developed strong connections to my cohort mates and have worked with many of them on projects post-graduation. Speaking of post-graduation, Flatiron offers individualized weekly career counseling that has been invaluable during my job search.

Margarita Morozova: I graduated from Flatiron School's software engineering immersive program in December 2020. Due to pandemic the program transitioned from on-campus to remote learning. We had to be on Zoom every day 9 to 6. Our day would start with a group discussion summarizing yesterdays lessons, we would then move on to pair-programming, then there would be a lecture and then we would finish the day with working on labs.I came to the bootcamp with zero programing knowledge and in four months graduated as a full-stack developer totally confident in what I've learnt. Honestly I was a bit skeptical before I've started this program, I couldn't understand how one can learn so much in such a short time. But the program is super intense and the curriculum requires you to learn and practice new concepts every single day. Every new skill you are taught comes with it's own labs which require you to use the skill until it becomes second nature. I like that Flatiron teaches you not only specific languages and frameworks, but they teach you how to learn, which is a great skill to have in life in general and certainly an important skill for a software developer.A word about instructors; the instructors we had were top-notch, super knowledgeable and helpful, and could explain complex, unfamiliar technical concepts in a way which anyone could understand. Our instructors were super supportive and they motivated us to keep going. The school's support does not end at graduation. Everyone is assigned a career coach who supports you for next 6 months and helps you during your job search.

Steven Parsons: . I worked 50-60 hours per week, doing a bit of extra practice outside of the curriculum. I finished at the end of July. I spent the following 2 months working 40-50 hours per week on my job search, practicing for interviews, and studying. I applied to over 200 jobs. At the beginning of October, after a 2-3 week application process, I accepted an incredible offer to join J.P. Morgan as an entry level Software Engineer on the other side of the country

Alec DuBois: Attending Flatiron School has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life. The instructors, staff, and coaches are knowledgeable, attentive, and really care about the success of the students. Each module was like being plugged into the Matrix for a few weeks and then waking up like, "I know Rails." It takes skill to pull off teaching at this pace with this kind of quality, and Flatiron pulls it off.

Eli Tooloee: Attending Flatiron School is the best decision I've ever made. The instructors did a much better job teaching than university CS professors ever did, and they seemed to legitimately care about students in a way universities don't. Probably because Flatiron is actually dependent on you getting a job after graduation. The curriculum is also good, with high quality lessons and exercises, not at all like the horrible materials used in many CS courses. The only warning I'd give is be ready to work hard. Your brain will be tired. I got through a college STEM degree putting in about 40% effort, but that will not work at Flatiron. You cover so much material so fast that you can't afford to fall behind. If you're ready for that and they accept you, sign up ASAP. You'll be upper middle class by this time next year.

Don Mallory: The instructors and curriculum are perfectly suited to folks from all walks of life and experience levels. They ensure every student has the support they need to succeed in the program.

Andy del Valle: I couldn't have asked for a better experience! All the instructors and peers were all friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Flatiron School to anyone wanting to start a new career in software engineering.

Alex Borst: You put in the work, and you get the results. It's as easy as that. Good luck to all future career changers.

Andrew Matheny: I attended Flatiron back in October 2019 and it was a fantastic experience. The teachers were very knowledgeable and I learned a ton. They really prepared me for my first job in tech. The campus is also very nice and I got to meet and work with a lot of fantastic people.

Scott Slatton (Crossmine): .From my experience at Flatiron my wife also decided to pursue software development but due to COVID has had to go through Flatiron's online course. I will say that from seeing her work schedule it is just as great as the in-person course that I went through so I would highly recommend it if the campus is still closed when you are reading this.

Washington Beauty School: what do users think?

Fancypants (Xixlo): I've been coming here for years, couldn't recommend the place more. I pay a 3rd of what it'd cost to get my hair cut anywhere else in the area here. It's a school for people to learn how to cut hair. The students pay attention when they're cutting, they want to do their best and their work shows it.The instructor has always been so kind and nice, if I had the desire to take hair cutting lessons, I would go to this school. Hands down, no questions about it.

I recommended this place to my room-mates.

The knowledge and skills I gained from this program have set me on a path to success in the world of home inspection, and I am extremely grateful for the outstanding experience I had with JJ and Suzanne Greive School of Professional Home Inspection. Thank you for helping me embark on this exciting career journey.Happy early anniversary to you two!!!-Trevor

Michael Nguyen: I've just finished my course studying with one of the best in the business. It didn't even feel like class because the interaction was so personal. Everyone wanted each other to succeed. Obviously, the leadership came from JJ and Suzanne. I've learned so much, I started climbing my roof and cleaning out the gutters! I appreciate my house more now because I know how to care for it. Looking forward to jumping in this new trade. I highly recommend anyone who wanted to learn about home inspection to check out the school. Wealth of knowledge is the minimum you'll get. Thanks again for being a great teacher. 5*!

Tim Malick: Highly recommend! If you are considering a career in home inspection look no further. JJ and Suzanne present carefully prepared lesson plans in an entertaining way. After completing the fundamentals of home inspection I feel that they thoroughly prepared me for the licensing exam.

Khanh Nguyen: JJ and Suzanne are the consummate pros. I’ve worked with them for well over the last two decades and learning from them in the process. There are no other inspectors who are more qualified to teach the next generation of inspectors. Five out of five ⭐️!!

Jeff Tharp: What a great class! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to become a home inspector. Suzanne and JJ make it a fun experience.

John T.: for what I needed to know to pass the National Home Inspector Exam. My only advice to anyone who is planning to take this course is to take as many notes as you can and keep them organized. Study after hours. Take the practice quizzes that JJ provides to all of his students. Get lost on Google and YouTube for hours at a time learning about all the different systems in a home and construction materials/methods that are no longer acceptable by current standards. Open your mind and get excited about learning all of these new things and it will help you excel.Best of luck to anyone just beginning this journey. Thanks again guys!

Kamal605 Madbar: Suzanne and JJ are incredible! It was a delight to take this class. They have incredible understanding into neighborhood practice that is extremely helpful in this market. I have been on above and beyond 300 investigations as a realtor and took in a ton from them. Energetically suggested in case anybody is keen on persuing home investigation preparing. It resembled a firehose of data coming at you however they set aside the effort to address all inquiries and assist with clarifying things in manners that were reasonable. Despite the fact that it was a long class it was clashing to complete it. I rather appreciated appearance up regularly to learn something and didn't feel it was overpowering or an errand. They made it charming and simple to track. Much thanks to you all so much and I am certain I will talk again with you!

Zachary McLain: JJ & Suzanne offer an extremely high level of knowledge both in what is required and what can be expected of a Home Inspector. They are great teachers and it is clear that they are doing something that they love...Helping people. They also gave me a clear idea of the other opportunities that Home Inspectors have to serve their communities like becoming a Structural Pest Inspector as well. I really appreciated learning about all the things that they learned the hard way... All of those real-world experiences that they shared were priceless. I also appreciated learning some of the ins and outs of working in the different areas around the Puget Sound. It was a complete package of knowledge that I would not have gotten from a national chain school. Thank you JJ & Suzanne and hopefully one day I will be on your extensive list of mentors for new Home Inspectors!

Ryan F: I dislike schooling with a passion. Never has been one of my strong suits. This course offered by JJ and his wife Suzanne feels more like sitting around the dinner table with your family than it does a classroom. You get the joy and laughs while great information is passed around. Questions, no matter how silly you may feel they are, get answered in a way easily understandable. The content of the course is pretty thorough and in depth. You get to learn about the standards the state has, industry standards adopted by multiple outfits, varying business models and practices in use today by others and they have access to dozens, if not hundreds of real estate agents, inspectors, contractors, etc that can answer questions or help point you in the right direction. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up for this class if you were serious about getting the best shot at getting your License.Thank youRyan

Steph Bruhahn: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueJj and Suzanne are awesome teachers! I highly recommend to anyone looking to learn the ins and outs of Home Inspection! I really enjoyed this class! Thank you for being so patient and thorough! 🤗

Max Nelson: Positive:Communication,QualityI had the pleasure of taking JJ and Suzanne's class over Zoom. They always kept it engaging and I learned everything I needed to know to get my home inspection license. I highly recommend!

Andrew Kappenman: This was the best experience of my life! Very professional but relaxed environment. The information I learned in the time I was there was amazing. Money well spent!

Brandon Barkema: Suzanne and JJ are great! It was a pleasure to take this class. They have great insight into local practice that is very useful in this market. I have been on well over 300 inspections as a real estate agent and learned a ton from them. Highly recommended if anyone is interested in persuing home inspection training. It was like a firehose of information coming at you but they took the time to answer all questions and help explain things in ways that were understandable. Even though it was a long class it was bittersweet to finish it. I rather enjoyed showing up everyday to learn something and didn't feel it was overwhelming or a chore. They made it enjoyable and easy to follow along with. Thank you guys so much and I am sure I will be talking again with you!

Daniel Sullivan: Great class! Left confident and motivated!

Evergreen Beauty College North Seattle: what do users think?

vivian: .

Sean E: I had my hair cut by Kaylee and she did an absolutely great job! That was a month ago, and my hair still looks great today. Usually when I get it cut, I had to get a touch-up every two weeks. She was able to completely produce what I envisioned for my hair for a long while now. Thanks Kaylee!

Lucas Connelly: I came in for my first ever custom facial and Amanda made it a great experience! She helped assess what treatment was needed and then talked me through the steps she was taking to help achieve my goals. I will definitely be going back for more sessions soon!

Jean Long: My sister had recently had a perm done at the Shoreline store and it looked great, so when I needed a haircut, she highly recommended them. Michelle, my stylist was amazing and fun, and did exactly what I requested, the instructor she had was phenomenal, she said Michelle did a great job, when the time came to cut my bangs, the instructor showed her a technique. My bangs have never, EVER, looked how I wanted them to until this cut, I literally almost teared up! I will be going back for color, which we discussed and I know what to ask for. Amazing experience overall!

Sydney Tran: I've visited Amanda a multiple times for waxing sessions, and each time has been perfect. From start to finish, Amanda creates a comfortable atmosphere, making me feel supper comfortable throughout the entire process. Not only does she excel at waxing, but her facials are also top-notch. They are not only effective but also incredibly relaxing. Overall, I can't recommend Amanda enough. Her skill, and warm personality makes each appointment a pleasure. If you're looking for a waxing and facial experience that exceeds expectations, Amanda is the one to see. She truly is amazing.

Jennifer L: with Jordan. They both did great and it was a fantastic price. I especially loved the outcome of what Jordan did with my hair. She asked questions about my hair that I hadn't even thought of and that helped her assess how to best get the color that I was looking for

Vanessa: I got a split color done by Hannah brown and it was amazing!! She was confident and did exactly what she needed to do! Will definitely come back to her for my touch up!!

sandra blake: Rachel Heinl cut my hair yesterday and did an amazing job! She was so friendly, relaxed and professional I was sure she was near completion of her training. Lo and behold I found out she was just getting started! Watch this young woman!!! She's gonna rock it big time!! Thank you Rachel

Jeanie Brewer-Barrett: Jorie at evergreen beauty College has been doing my hair for months and I've always left more than satisfied. From coloring to cuts and trims she does an excellent job. My last time seeing her was the 23rd and she trimmed my hair and added layering which isn't usually a simple task as I have very long hair and she did soooo good! She is wonderful at what she does and has a great talent!!

Galvin Flying: what do users think?

David Chau: Got my PPL and Instrument Rating from Galvin, excellent facility and instructors.

Sarah Daniels: but I can literally fly into and out of anywhere now. BFI is crazy busy and prepared me for anything so it was well worth it. Also flew with Joelle and Matt and they were super!

Beth Rosen: Flew today with instructor Mike. So knowledgeable, patient and fun. Highly recommend!!!!

Andrew Gellert: I was travelling on Holidays from Australia and chose Galvin to conduct a rental. Got a checkout with CFI Amber and then rented a 172 the next day for a flight to Friday Harbour. The team at Galvin sure helped me achieve the mission. Folk on the front desk are definitely worth a mention as they were super helpful and cheerful along the way. Shout out to Cameron and Johnny. KBFI is no easy place to fly from, so it takes preparation on the pilot/renter to arrive with a good level of knowledge to the local procedures. Galvin ensured I had the rest of the requisite info and training. Thanks a bunch guys👍

Owen Rogers: I've attended ground school through Galvin and am now engaged in flight instruction. Planes are decent, my instructor is very helpful and friendly, and the staff has been professional and thoughtful.

Nolan Langston: . My 5 year old got to ride along and she said it was one of her top life experiences. Granted, 5 years of life isn't that great of a sample size, but she's been to Disney Land so at least we know her bar is high. The price was very reasonable for what you get and I'd argue that it's one of those things that everyone should try at least once.

Zhou Magda: It was an amazing experience, super friendly staff and flight instructors.

Will Gibson: Like these guys a lot

Erick Bloomquist: I went flying with the instructor James for my birthday, and the experience was incredible. I did the "Intro to Flying" experience which let me take control of the plane as well, and I got plenty of flight time. The experience is nothing like a commercial flight, and I think its worthy of everyone's bucket list. I also cannot overstate how amazing James was, he made all the smallest technical things entertaining, and also asked us how intense of an experience we want. He could keep it very tame, or make it an experience like a roller coaster

Mohanad Alali: I spend 11 years as cabin attendant with airlines its been so amaizing
