Kubota Garden: what do users think?

Carissa Fay: Kubota gardens is a beautiful Japanese-style garden with koi ponds, waterfalls, mallard ducks, and vibrant and well groomed plants. Bring your dog on a leash and the whole family to stroll the sprawling 20 acres of delightful scenery, or have a picnic on the grass. There is a bulletin board just outside where you can pick up a pamphlet and make a donation. Public restrooms are available, although the last time I was there they were locked and only a porta-potty was available. There is no playground, but the kids are easily captivated by the park and will have a blast anyway.Restrooms: Public restrooms are available, although the last time I was there they were locked and only a porta-potty was available.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leashes.

Foxfire: a very peaceful oasis that does a great job to separate the interior from the outside world. is a lovely number of walking trails and areas to just sit in.

Jake Vlasak: Very serene. One of Seattles hidden gems in my opinion. It is very well kept and is also calm and quiet.Great place to go to relax and enjoy some alone time. Would probably spend 30 minutes to an hour and a half here.

mariluz pena: The place has a perfect view I loved it

Jennifer OConnor: This place is an absolute gem.

wei wang: lovely Japanese garden。

Phil L: Amazingly pretty park. Well trimmed and had a large variety of native greens and also Japanese maple.A visit can take 30min to 1hr depending on the type of person you are.Would recommend for those traveling to or from SeaTac into Seattle proper.

XY Tang: It was a very nice Japanese garden, bigger than I expected. We spent over an hour here. Free admission.

Chrissy Iszler: Just totally enjoyed it, didn’t get to see it all, but next month in June or July we’re coming back. The grounds were kept up really really nice. Beautiful placeRestrooms: The only complaint I have is there were not enough bathroom areas for such a big areaDog-friendliness: I didn’t mean to push this button I don’t have a dog, but seen a couple and they were friendly, sweet dogsPicnic area: Nice area to have a picnic

Something out of a "Lord of the Rings movie."TinkerBelle loved it and swore she found a fairy and some elves or two hiding amongst the foxtails, pansies & daffodilsWe LOVE you 💖 thank you so much for this Divine Blessing.Dog-friendliness: My dog loves the long staircase.. she gets her zoomies under control after a couple of runs up and down those. Lol🐕😂

Prism Productions: It's a beautiful private park. Not a place to go crazy skateboard, picnics etc. as it's very small. You blink an eye and you'll miss it.More for magical enchanting quietude: good place to have a cup of tea or read a book. Perfect for over 50+ crowd.Stairway is amazing but not recommended if you have issues w taking 80 stairs up and down.Thank you Streisser Family for this lovely gem for us that remember what a real garden park looks like.

Rachel Hessler: .I love it. I’m going to frequent Ravenna Gardens anytime I need plants. And I’ll need some this summer for other clients, and myself as well!

CARMEN THUNDER: Been coming here since they opened years ago. It’s always lovely and you will always find your new favorite plant and pot. I’m on a tropical kick. They have a beautiful display inside a kind of rustic tree house kind of in the city. Indoor and outdoor plants with helpful staff.

T Y: Well organized

Abq Tours: Love this store

Jorge Bartose: Beautiful nursery with very healthy assortment of plants to choose from. One of the best shops I've been to for live plants by far!

Big Al: Lovely shop with many different varieties.

Alex Maloney:

Seattle Japanese Garden: what do users think?

Siriesha Patnaik: Serene, beautiful, havenLook online- they have tea ceremony that is free to attend, plan such that you can enjoy that experience as well!

Elena Phillips: Beautiful smaller Japanese Garden, better pricing compared to many attractions around Seattle. We visited in the rain in early May but it was still beautiful. Lots of flowers blooming, and the wisteria arch was gorgeous. We sat under a covered area for a break from the rain and it was a great spot to admire the beauty of the gardens.Playground: There is no playground. No playing, just stick to their paths and admire the view.Restrooms: There are restrooms just before entering the parkDog-friendliness: Not dog friendly I believe

B “to the” Y: Whole family went. Enjoyed the wonderfully cared for garden, especially the ducks and turtles. If Iwere to do it again I would spend more time either walking or biking around the many paths around the Washington Park Arboretum. Though the younger kids might protest.

justin petersen: Cool hidden gem!

Devonshire Landscapes Inc: what do users think?

Elsa Moluf: , and they autonomously attended to many details that created a very polished final result. The project only hit a couple snags and they were incredibly accommodating and reasonable in getting to good solutions. They checked back often to make sure everything looked and worked as expected. I was so happy with their work that I had them do a few more things that were originally cut from the project scope, and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

pnemanic: I couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Devonshire. Dan is very knowledgeable and helped me through every step of the process. I highly recommend Devonshire to anyone looking to elevate their outdoor space. Thank you for your outstanding work!

Jon Lange: Had Ezequiel and a helper prune my apple and prune trees. Super great job. Haven't looked this good in as long as I can remember. Many lovely blossoms, looking forward to lovely fruit for my cider making! Thanks Devonshire!

Thomas Stanton: Devonshire has been excellent. We did non-trivial landscape work across our property. Rick and Katrina took the time understand our needs and preferences, translated that into a plan, and made revisions. The crew was respectful, worked quickly, and didn’t compromise on quality. Now with spring rolling around, we’re happy to see everything coming in and for a few one off plants that had a hard time over the winter, Devonshire replaced them promptly. We’ve since recommended them to a few neighbors who asked who did the work and will have them do any additional work.

Amanda Freeman: Devonshire Landscapes transformed our yard. We are thrilled with how lovely it is now and look forward to enjoying it this spring!

Nicholas Smith: Devonshire did an amazing job transforming our backyard! The work came out great, the team was incredibly responsive, and the quote was reasonable & transparent. Coordinating was also a breeze - in a few days I was able to get an initial estimate based on photos & description of what we wanted done, Rick came out a few days after that to walk through things with me and sent me a formal quote later that day, & they started work within a couple weeks of when I first reached out.Huge kudos to Rick, Miguel, and the rest of the team! I’ll definitely work with them again in the future.

Jeannie Ianelli: Devonshire has transformed my backyard over the past 2 years from a crabgrass wasteland into an oasis. I did not really know what I wanted when I first contacted them, but I knew that I did not want grass or a lawn. Rick & Katrina helped design and create a beautiful, interesting and very sustainable garden. I can't say enough about the team! The installation and irrigation crews do amazing work-showing up early in the morning to work full hours until the job is done come rain or hail or sun. The whole team is professional, super talented, and great at communicating the cost and the timeline. I am so pleased that I found Devonshire and most highly recommend them to everyone in the West Seattle area.

Rick Snider: We use services from Devonshire Landscapes to assist with grounds management at our West Seattle senior living community, The Kenney. Devonshire has the knowledge and experience to professionally maintain many aspects of our landscaping needs and have been a great collaborator in solving a number of challenges. Our landscaping needs are extensive and having a resource such as Devonshire to support our team is highly valued. We can give our wholehearted recommendation to Devonshire to anyone requiring professional landscape services.

Ron Blasser: Their people are kind, knowledgeable and easy to work with - consulting us to the result we want. They have great communication, let me know what they are doing, what they have done and what needs to be done to get the correct result. They tackle the small projects with the same enthusiasm as they do for the larger ones. 100% will use them again for our expansive property here in west Seattle.

Tricia Demarest: The crews are always on time and very professional. They do amazing work. Devonshire is very responsive and can do extra jobs when needed, like gutter cleaning and heavy pruning. I've had them for a few years now and my landscaping looks amazing!

Will Waterstraat: Dan and Team were easy to work with and did a outstanding job!

Rachel DeArment: We had a great experience working with Devonshire on our landscaping project and would recommend. We had a few hiccups along the way with some of the new plants struggling to survive in the summer heat and Devonshire’s quick response to any issues that arose made us feel like the project was still a priority, even after the install. Also, we appreciate Katrina’s extensive knowledge and careful curation of our plant selection - she’s an absolute pleasure to work with.

Levi Hopkins: I used Devonshire's design services and installation for a new seating area, with sauna, and lighting. Rick and Katrina were fantastic to work with. Katrina's designs were exactly what we were looking for and could not be happier. The installation team was meticulous in their work, giving the new landscaping a handcrafted feel. Just an incredibly smooth and enjoyable experience. We look forward to having more designs done in the future by Devonshire.Services:Stone landscaping,Landscape design construction

James Mason: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe Devonshire crew did a great job giving our garden a much-needed facelift. They were responsive to what we were looking for, gave us a fair bid, and completely fulfilled our expectations. It was a pleasure to work with them and we will definitely call on them for any future garden work. Thanks, Rick!Service:Landscape design construction

Spencer Goldberg: Absolutely the best! If you are in their service area, you must give them a shot. Having worked with other landscaping companies already, Devonshire truly goes the extra mile in every aspect and provides exceptional value. The crews are not only hard working, but also thoughtful and creative. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with this company to get our property looking the best its ever looked.Services:Gardening services,Yard landscaping,Lawn care,Tree landscaping,Landscaping maintenance,Landscape design,Lawn mowing maintenance,Weed control

Brycen Campfield: The best landscaping company!

Ed S.: I have worked with Devonshire Landscapes in a commercial capacity for many years. They have always done a fantastic job. They are consistent, responsive and fair.Trust is important. In general, landscaping isn't always cheap. When Devonshire sends me a bill I know they are always being fair and honest with me. I would recommend them to anyone.Ed S.SeattleServices:Irrigation system repair maintenance,Gardening services,Landscape installations,Yard landscaping,Lawn care,Landscaping maintenance,Lawn mowing maintenance,Weed control

William Walker: Devonshire Landscaping did a fantastic job landscaping my yard while I was recovering from an illness. Their employee, Arturo, worked from early morning until past 5 weeding, laying much, seeding and pruning bushes and trees. Front and back yards look incredible. They were also able to fit me in on short notice. I highly recommend this company.Services:Lawn care,Weed control

Ruth Schauble: Cannot say enough wonderful things about Devonshire! We were impressed from the very first meeting and I'm happy to say they lived up to the expectations. We met with a couple different landscaping companies, and the others came out and gave a quote for the absolute basics without helping us to talk through our vision. We don't know much about landscaping design so we didn't know what was and wasn't possible with our budget. Devonshire came out and met with us for over an hour just discussing all the options for our yard and helping us see what our budget could turn into. It was so inspiring and helped us realize that we could have the yard we wanted. They then sent us a line-item quote that allowed us to pick and choose the items we did and didn't want easily and without hassle. Then - and most importantly - they delivered. They removed our sod, graded, altered our deck, added gravel walkways and installed beautiful drought-resistant plants. They were fast but thorough. Every time we add a question or wanted to change something, they were responsive, kind, and helpful. We highly recommend them!Services:Stone landscaping,Irrigation system repair maintenance,Gardening services,Landscape installations,Outdoor step construction,Yard landscaping,Yard grading,Garden design,Retaining walls,Landscape design,Landscaping design

Garden Center at The Home Depot: what do users think?

Andrew Smith: Decent selection.

Carol Campbell: Hwalthy outdoor plants . got a few early planters . tons of brands to choose from for soil . we buy organic . several different kinds of grass seed and every way possible to kill weeds.

Kris: The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The garden department has all the plants and gardening supplies we need, and that is just a small fraction of the store. This is the ideal spot to go for any situation involving zombies and can be well fortified. Such a great store!

Elizabeth Machmeier: Overall easy to find things and the sales associates are readily available. Great garden section!

Creighton Watley: I prefer this place to the Lowe's down the street for the selection.A lot of the other complaints in the reviews have to do with customer service. For me, I want a place with a good selection where I can take care of myself. This place has a better electrical, fastener, and lumber selection. Those are my primary purchases, for what it's worth. One thing about service, on several occasions I've had lumber cut to length on either the radial arm saw or the panel saw. In all circumstances the guy has been easy to track down and accommodating.

Ecoyards: what do users think?

Ellen Gantner: Feb 2024 update: we just completed our third project with EcoYards, and I just can’t say enough good things about this team! Andy is always so responsive to our requests and questions, and he provides detailed quotes that make it easy to decide what our must-haves and nice-to-haves are for our projects. And Jesus, Victor and the rest of the crew are the absolute best! They arrive every morning right on time, pay close attention to the details, keep everything organized and efficient while they are on-site, and work incredibly hard to make sure every job is done to perfection. From irrigation to lighting to fencing to stonework to plant and lawn installation, EcoYards has improved literally every inch of our property, and it’s obvious that they take a lot of pride in their work. We do too! Thanks EcoYards!Services:Stone landscaping,Irrigation system repair maintenance,Gardening services,Landscape installations,Grading resloping,Yard grading,Garden design,Tree landscaping,Landscape design,Yard drainage,Hardscaping,Yard work

Patrick Kane: . The crew is both professional and extremely skilled at what they do. Couldn't recommend Ecoyards enough.

Sam Chen: Jesus and his team from EcoYards did a great job installing a new irrigation system for us. The team was professional, courteous and friendly, and Jesus was very thorough in explaining how everything worked. Before the work began, I thought this might have been something I could have done myself, but after seeing the amount of work and considerations it took to dig the trenches, lay out the pipes, install the controls / valves, and configure the spray coverage, I'm glad I went with professionals who knew what they were doing.Service:Irrigation system repair maintenance

Jason Evans: I had a great experience with Ecoyards' installation of a new irrigation system for my front and back lawns and planting beds. The installation was professional. Everything about the experience was painless, and watering is now an automated breeze. I'm so excited to be heading into summer without having to worry about standing around with a hose.Service:Irrigation system repair maintenance

Samuel Violette:

Robert Allaway:
