Noble Woodwork: what do users think?

Jessica: The woodworkers here are artists! They have a command of their craft that surpasses others. My 1937 home needed restoration on an interior wood trim. This is not remodeling or upgrading, this is restoration. The piece of wood must be made to fit exactly and the same quality.Noble Woodwork is amazing! It is so hard to find artists, most woodworkers want to remodel a large job. But to help one restore a beautiful old home is priceless.

Andrew Shields: I contacted Sam to help on a custom window seat, double french casement window install and new cedar exterior siding for my 122+ year old home. I was looking for a skilled partner in the project that had a range of experiences in order to deal with the challenges that come from early 1900s carpentry. Sam and his team were professional, kept the site clean/safe, were on time/budget and delivered a quality service that I hope to use again on future projects. Since that project they've recently built a custom bed frame out of walnut.Services:General construction,Home renovations,Home repairs

Michelle Anderson: Sam and his crew at Noble Woodwork continue to amaze me with their attention to detail and making the final product look flawless and classic. Sam has built me amazing pieces over the years that I continue to love that include beautiful modern frames, a floating live edge shelf, and fabricating a custom dining room table. He has a very creative eye, knows his material very well. Always keeps the job site clean and tidy, which is very appreciated when it's your home. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants a great contractor and exemplary results

Kaitlyn L: Sam is very professional and knowledgeable--he's a great communicator, he's thorough and he values getting the job done on time without sacrificing quality. If there's anything that falls outside the scope of services that Noble Woodwork provides, he is quick to recommend other high-quality professionals for anything you might need. 10/10!

R&M Dessert Bar: Had a great experience. They created and installed a new ceiking/covering for our space and added display shelving.Services:Commercial projects,Interior finishing

Sam shows passion in his work and I can rely on good quality. His experience and knowledge are truly displayed in his technical skills. 10/10 would recommend.Service:General construction

Kori Martodam: Sam Noble and his crew are a truly impressive bunch! From a mid-century modern basement renovation with a staircase that belongs in an art gallery to a multi-story makeover on an aging house requiring a dozen sub-contractors and serious engineering prowess, Noble Woodwork rises to the occasion! The combination of artistry, craftsmanship, and diversity of experience that Noble Woodwork represents is rare and invaluable for custom projects. Though their work on my home was just a cosmetic touch-up on the kitchen and bath, I was impressed by their professionalism and their portfolio. I would reach out without hesitation on future projects!Service:Home repairs

Laura Ellis: and the other was a big set of built ins and custom cabinetry for the same space. Every time I've found Sam to be very collaborative on the design process. He's truly invested in figuring out the best way to bring your ideas to life.Additionally, the quality of his work is phenomenal. Sam does not cut corners, and neither does anyone who works for him

Woodcraft of Seattle: what do users think?

Sara Mae: Update: we keep coming back and every member of the staff we've interacted with has been stellar! Everyone takes their time and ensures they answer all your questions and share their knowledge. This means sometimes you wait while staff is helping someone, but it's worth the wait! Will keep coming back for the awesome and knowledgeable staff!---My 8yo has gotten into whiddling and I didn't know where to start. Charles was a huge help. Very patient and recommended good entry level options as well as safety ideas for us. We'll be back as the hobby grows!

Philip Gillette: Always fun to shop here.

Geoffrey Martin-Noble: Nelson was super helpful and went above and beyond to get me everything I needed for my project. He also made sure to explain the why of what he was recommending, so I learned things as well.I see some reviews complaining about not being proactively offered assistance by an employee. I did have to approach someone to ask for help. I found that was a bit more difficult because it didn't seem like the employees had identifying name tags or uniforms and I came when some were on their lunch break, so I asked the person at the register. But to me that seems like a minor thing. If you want help, ask for it.Very glad I came here.

Zachary Suchanek: Extremely helpful staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me and my friend with our elaborate project. We cannot thank you guys enough!

W. White: Great resource for a verity of project needs. The staff are always friendly and helpful with ideas. I've found good prices on some bulk type stock items. The email notifications are helpful with current specials.

Gordon Kushner: Good products, knowledgeable people to assist. Doesn't get better than that.

Melanie Vartanian: Absolutely fantastic customer service!! I came in looking for a very particular piece. Right away, a staff member helped me look, and when we figured out it wasn't available, provided some options. I'm so grateful forbthe extra time he took to help me find a solution.

Steve Dando: Best tool store on the west coast!

Elizabeth Olson: Everything you need for every kind of woodworker, knowledgeable staff, classes, and good sales

Bill Sauneuf: It is like a candy store for woodworkers! So many fantastic tools and accessories to help us make fantastic things in the woodshop.Knowledge staff, friendly service, fair prices.Jeff runs the shop/classroom area and he does a great job!

byron h: Great place to pick up great products and projects lots of help also

Ebanista School of Fine Woodworking: what do users think?

Joe Weber: I took the Beginning I course with Jonathan and I could not be happier with choosing Ebanista. Jonathan is a wealth of knowledge, passionate about woodworking and is approachable to inquiry. We had a class with a wide range of skill levels and Jonathan was able to meet each person where they were at. He was encouraging, friendly and fostered a positive learning environment. I highly recommend Ebanista for advancing your woodworking knowledge.

Steven Sirianni: Just finished the Beginnings 1 class and it was such a great investment. Jonathan was an amazing instructor. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. The class was incredibly well paced and we learned about so much more than just how to complete our project. Jonathan is a wealth of knowledge regarding how to tell which tools are worth the investment, what to look for in difference pieces of wood, and how to improve your skills quickly. I already signed up for Beginnings 2 and I wholeheartedly recommend Ebanista to anyone who wants to learn more about woodworking.

david crutcher: I just finished the beginnings I class and I am currently signed up for three more classes. it is a pleasure learning from Jonathan. and i am looking forward to the next three classes.

Alexa Patnode: . Jonathan’s passion was contagious. Already itching to come back for more!

Ian Jurgensen: This school is just great. I've taken a couple of workshops, and finally took my first full class, box making. I'm no stranger to a woodshop, but this really challenged me to slow down and work with purpose... and the end result was just phenomenal. Jonathon is a great teacher, not only on skill, but safety, and design. I'll def be taking more classes in the future.

Caroline: Ebanista offers great classes for those interested in learning about woodworking, how to use common woodshop tools, including hand tools, sharpening, and finishing. The beginner I class is taught by Jonathan who is extremely knowledgeable. Use of tools is supervised so that students feel safe as they build confidence. I've already signed up for beginner II and other workshop classes.

Yang He: I took the beginner class and it turns out to be a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed the peacefulness that woodworking brought to me. Jonathan is an awesome mentor and taught us so much more than just how to build the tray. Looking forward to the next class I’ve signed up!

Katie Accomazzo: I really enjoyed this class. I’m he emphasis on safety and quality. My first project turned out really well! I’ve already signed up for additional classes.

B P: Before joining the class at Ebanista, I had 3 years of woodworking experience, mainly with power tools. Jonathan allowed me to start from the Beginning II class. Both Jonathan and our class teacher Ross Day are super duper experienced and passionate about woodworking. We have 4-5 students in the class. So we all have sufficient time to communicate 1:1 with our teacher. We made a mitered box with a frame and panel lid in this class. Although I have made several types of boxes before, I did learn a lot during the class, from recognizing and handling grain direction, to resawing to make a bookmatch pattern, to fine tuning dimensions with planning and much more. This is an invaluable experience of learning hands-on techs and tips from master woodworkers. I'll definitely join more classes at Ebanista.

Lucia Fernandez: My experience with Ebanista is one I will value and carry with me as I continue the woodworking journey. I found the instruction comprehensive, but in a fluid and casual way that allowed plenty of room for questions and understanding the foundational principles, while applying them in practical ways. The practical knowledge taught is only one aspect of the more holistic approach towards what it means to work with wood and express its inherent beauty. All in all - classes are an awesome, rewarding experience for those seeking in-depth understanding.

Kaveh Noorbakhsh: class sizes. Overall, you get a sense that the goal of the school is not just to get people to pay for classes, but to find people for the teachers to hand down their knowledge. If you can find the time and money to takes classes here, do it, you won't regret it.

K Campbell: The 6 weeks that I spend taking the Beginner 2 class were the best six weeks of my year so far and learning under Johnathan was a terrific experience that reignited a dormant love for woodworking. One of the best things about this school is how much the instructors care about making sure that you are developing skills THROUGHOUT the process of building a project. What you build is not the end in itself but the vehicle through which you build and hone your skills as a woodworker. These are the best possible conditions whereby I can learn and apply that learning to future projects.I have nothing but great things to say and I'm looking forward to the future classes that I've already registered for as well as any new ones that pop up on the calendar.Sign up before it's too late or you'll miss out!

Carolyn Silk: A great comprehensive and fun introduction to fine woodworking. Beautifully equipped shop and smart experienced instructor. Opportunity to appreciate the nature and qualities of wood, learn techniques and become comfortable working with a wide range of power and hand tools. Already looking forward to the next class!

Jake Farley: I’ve taken two classes at Ebanista now and can’t wait to get to number 3. Every class is packed with work and valuable information, and the results speak for themselves

Alejandro Lobo: I took the Beginnings I class and it was a great experience. The professor Jonathan is very knowledgeable and the classes went by so fast. The class project is well thought to introduce beginners to different tools and techniques.

Keegan Wiltshire: I just finished a few weekend workshops and the beginners 1. While I eagerly wait for beginners 2 to start I’ll take this time to sharpen my tools, reflect on what I’ve learned so far and read some of the recommended books they have available for checkout. I feel honored to be able to learn and be taught by such masters of their craft and teachers who love what they do.

Jay Lee: Jonathan was an amazingly patient, knowledgeable, and funny teacher. First time I've worked with wood and power tools, but under his supervision I felt safe and confident.
