doris cruickshank: An update. After this comment appeared we were contacted by a vice-president of the company. He made things right. I thank them.I would never do business with this company again. It took nearly three months to get the correct parts for my air compressor. The wrong shaft was sent twice and I was told when the right shaft was sent I would not be charged for either the shaft or the shipping. Six months later I received a bill. Contact with the company was frustrating and had no resolution. As I had charged the purchase, I was stuck with paying the bill. If I could give no stars I would.

Ben B: I used Cascade Machinery on an emergency in the middle of the night on the weekend when I had a long shaft on a fan break.I called at 1:00 am they answered and immediately were willing to help.A crew came out within an hour and a half removed the broken shaft went back to their shop made me a new one and came back and installed it.They were done on Sunday early afternoon.What can I say it was amazing.I've been using them for everything and will do almost everything in industry from rebuilding, maintaining, and manufacturing, and selling new.

Jacob Dwyer: Go to a big box store if you want cheap materials and nonexistent customer service. Come to Stewart if you want quality merchandise competitively priced, with exceptional customer service from knowledgeable staff who quietly, consistently get the repeat business from the pros that know. There are only a few legacy lumber yards in Seattle, Stewart has been around for as long as they have because they do it all correctly. Thanks you guys, I have had several successful jobs with Stewart Lumber's help.

No upsells or problems. If you're just swapping out one water heater for a similar one, that's very straightforward and a plumber is going to charge way too much.

This morning in less than 10 mins he fixed my table giving me back my closet and helping create a breakfast nook I have dreamed of. I am so happy and grateful for the extra attention. With his help, this table serves me and stays out of a landfill! Plus +1 for the Local Peeps!

When we arrived there was a local outage because a vehicle had taken out a power pole and Internet was down impacting many businesses in the area.The employee at the store took our item and then promptly processed the return after the service was restored. The people here are friendly, the store is well stocked and is pretty much the only hardware store in the area, and thankfully they have a pretty good variety, so if you're in the area need something give them a shot

The store is handicapped friendly and you might be greeted by this friendly little dog which seems to be the store mascot.The staff is real pleasant to deal with, knowledgeable and warm. When you enter you have that Ma and Pa store feel. Not like the large hardware retailers we know where it seems like you walk a mile to find an attendant to get help.I highly recommend this Store. Paolo Villacarlos: I love coming by this small hardware shop. They’re pretty good and I’ve been able to find some stuff here that’s even cheaper than Amazon, like the Milwaukee wrench I ended up buying. I shop here more than Home Depot due to the convenience of location. And in true hardware store fashion, it is also dog friendly. And good folks too—I had a key made here and it didn’t work when I got home so they remade it for free.
