Hero Ace Hardware: what do users think?

Jordan Rapport: So now Cameron is being a Karen and getting his friends to lie too because he is a child that cant accept that fact that he is too dumb to listen to basic instructions. He heard what he wanted to hear because he is a spoiled child and typical karen. if he comes back in the store we will have him arrested for trespassing.

Winnie W.: Friendly staff that are funny, helpful and knowledgeable. You would be much happier if you come to Ace, but not Home Depot for small home projects.

Michelle Graham: They always have what I need.

Walter MacFarlane: I shopped there one time and I was hooked. Avast selection at a small store downtown with a very knowledgeable staff that is more than willing to go out of the way to help you with what you're trying to accomplish. Never expected this from a little hardware store downtown.

Joslin Alcwrro: Alright, store. Small but good selection.

cbeague: Very nice people, reasonable prices

Jesse Samora: This Ace Hardware is an excellent example of what amazing Ace Hardware stores can be. Today, I came in with bolts from my bicycles bottle cage and a rubber gasket from my shower hose as examples of what I needed and the very friendly associate who helped me out, with scarcely a glance at my pieces, took me directly to the supplies I needed and made sure they matched perfectly. I wish I had taken note of their name so I could address the kudos more specifically.

Doug Jones: Excellent hardware store downtown. I don't have to travel to Home Depot.

William parker: Good service

Frank Ruiz: One can find tools and stuff needs for the house. Prices are fine and the staff are nice and attentive

Magnolia Ace Hardware: what do users think?

Michael Cook: A quiet Thursday at the Ace Hardware store. I got great assistance, and they made me a couple keys and sent me on my way. I rarely leave this store without what I needed.

paul jones: Nice too have a hardware store in the neighborhood.

Gary Fisher: Only hardware within walking distance and had everything I needed.

Joanne Brooks: Helpful staff, when you can find them, and pretty good deals on things. The staff levels in store have always been problematic, and it remains my biggest point of constructive feedback.

sarah binns: I came to grab some wire bolts and ended up by several other items. The ladies there were so friendly and helpful!

Jami jamieson: Great staff, and always great product.

PX Primary: Great little local Ace for the Magnolia area. You'll find all the essentials along with a few added extras scattered around. We come here first when starting any home projects and can fill in the gaps with either Home Depot or online orders once in a while.

Robert Kahle: Always helpful, friendly staff, amazing breadth of items. They seem to always have what I am looking for. So much more helpful than Lowe’s or Home Depot!

Nate Venckus: I walk in, mouth agape. Next thing I know, a Yuma Myotis is headed straight for my face. Before I can react, a Mexican free-tailed swoops from the left, going for my eyes. Both bats are clearly being controlled by employees of this store.I miraculously escape serious injury when, just as I think the assault is over, an aluminum little league heads straight for my abdomen. I keel over in pain, the air expelled from my lungs. As soon as I catch my breath, I look up to see an Ace Hardware employee staring down at me condescendingly, head shaking and finger pointing to a sign that reads, “Masks Required.”I can’t help but laugh. Not only am I an animal lover, but I can’t get enough of a good practical joke — especially in today’s society! This place gets two thumbs up from me. I’ll be back next time I’m in need of some old-fashioned fun!

Regis Denefle: Old-fashioned location small hardware store with stuff in bulk and various merchandise.

John C. Easley: Lots of knowledge and very helpful but very small

Christopher Blodgett: Always great being able to go to the local hardware store. Lowe's and home Depot just aren't the same experience.

Selina Luna: Shout out to this amazing hardware store, today coming off the freeway from Kirkland our upper radiator hose burst and the car started over heating... we pulled over and called our mechanic who's shop was about 15min away and counting due to traffic 😑. My husband went over to the entrance and was greeted by a very nice gentleman who was very aware and helpful with our situation. He showed him to some tape for a quick fix and even to a water spicket to fill the radiator. Thanks to the Employee who helped my husband out we made it to the shop and got the car running as good as new! He didn't catch your name but thank you from us both!

Debra P.: Small store with a lot if merchandise and a great lumber yard! The staff were both very knowledgeable and patient staff. They were able to help out with 2 cross-questioning folks at the same time.

Cuck Arnt: Great Selection, Friendly, Helpful Staff That Stops To Listen To You And Ask If You Need Any Help.🙂

Franklin Cassell: Nice atmosphere

Maple Leaf Hardware: what do users think?

Nelson Jay: . Then some months later I purchased a line trimmer that uses the same battery. Both tools have been terrifically solid and well-suited for our corner lot with a mid-sized lawn and various planted beds and pathways. Fast forward to last week when I plugged in the normally trusty battery, and "poof"! Nothing happened. Silence. Normally the charger lights up and a fan kicks on to cool the unit while charging. After checking a few plugs to make sure it was the charger or battery, I took both pieces to Ace Maple Leaf. Shout out to Floor Manager Caleb who quickly troubleshot the offending charger and declared it was the culprit. He ducked into the back, rummaged around and produced a working charger, then sent me on my way. I SO appreciate when people like Caleb are empowered to make things happen. Another example of the excellent customer service at Maple Leaf Ace. The entire floor team at this store is dedicated to customer service and making their very best effort to make sure you are helped and off to your next project. GO TEAM! Thank you, Ace Maple Leaf.

Nava Gross: Helpful and prompt assistance anytime I go in.

anne t: Awesome store. Well stocked with just what you need, not sure how they do it. Always very helpful staff.

Monica Farris: Nice hardware store very friendly.

David Miller: Maple Leaf Ace Hardware is a small little store that is useful for small, quick shopping visits. I'm always able to find what I need, and there is usually not a line to check out. My only issue with this store is the prices. I understand that it is a small locally owned store that may not be able to compete with Home Depot for example, but things seem to be several dollars if not more expensive than I would find them elsewhere.Other than that, they have a great selection of products and the location for me makes weekend chores go smoothly. I will continue to shop there.

Lynne H: Great store and helpful staff.

Daigoro Toyama (daihard): Super helpful! I needed an extractor bit, and the store person got me the correct size in 2 min. The bit worked too.[Update] I went back to get a couple of metric screws. As it turned out, I was looking for the wrong size. Luckily, the super knowledgeable person named Jeff pointed that out to me by looking at the screw I brought with me, and showed me the correct ones to buy. I don't know what to do without them.

Sophie Holmes: Super helpful people and well organized store! Only thing is the entrance has stairs so it's not super accessible

Urvashi Chaudhuri: It's a smaller version of home depot but has almost all necessary supplies and the staff is great, very polite and ready to attend.

Susan King: Very friendly and helpful employees...great customer service

Steven Clifford: rather than one of the huge stores.

Edward Park: Best place to get a car key copied. Only $5 for older simpler keys. At minute key or keyme self-serve kiosks, it will try to charge you $250, lol. Don't fall for it, come here. Staff is very professional and helpful.

Noodles Chuckles: Surprisingly great selection of stuff, from hardware to cleaning supplies and a super helpful staff!

Nancy Boutwell: If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. Nice local vibe.

Dale Lear: and had them delivered there at competitive prices. Pickup is easy and they help load. I drive past two large box stores without blinking to get to Maple Leaf Hardware. I've always found a parking spot in their lot.

Valli Peterson: We were doing a project and we asked questions and they knew what to say and they we super nice

Anup Bharadwaj: Always had a great experience shopping here! Owners are very knowledgeable and helpful in finding what I was looking for. I have stopped going to big box stores like Home Depot completely ever since I discovered this place.

Sherry Howland: I'm NOT a "hardware store" sorta person, but when I desperately needed an obscure replacement bulb for my desk lamp, the man at this store came up with it and put it aside for me. Not a huge $$$ sale, but huge neighborhood friendliness and service!

Mark Lee: So much variety! Bought the best vegetable fertilizer I've ever used here. Can't find it anywhere else

Aline Vida: Today I went to this hardware store and was so happy to find a friendly woman working there who quickly helped me find what I was looking for! Yeah for stellar customer service !

R H: Very organized, great hardware selection. Definitely pricey, but when you need something 4pm on Sunday , it’s worth it

Hiya There: Friendly staff helped us find rare pieces we needed for furniture hardware we couldn't find anywhere else even online. This store is awesome and staff is amazing and knowledgeable. Love this place and I have told everyone about it. I'll keep traveling here from Bellevue to get what we need. They have so much stuff and their window display is cute to lol. Ty guys for your help. We were finally able to complete a furniture building we need to for weeks. Couldn't find the parts needed and missing until we looked up and visited your store thanks guys

Smith Nickerson: Knowledgeable staff. Good selection of hardware. Just the right size for high density neighborhood.

Jim J: Spare house keys all worked great.

Christopher Bergman (Bergie): Fantastic neighborhood Supply Store. wonderful customer service. Like an old-time chubby & tubby.

Greenwood Hardware: what do users think?

Uruk Black: Great store! Had everything I needed!

Raine: The service here is fantastic! I had multiple projects and got expert advice on each one.

Vladimir Lebed: Nice and friendly staff.Unloaded my truck of topsoil load quickly.

Michael Fewel: Excellent, excellent from the start of the process to the finished product. The arrival time was accurate. The length of time needed for the water heater installation was accurate. And the installer did an excellent job. No mess, no fuss, cleanup was complete. We could not recommend Greenwood and Chase more highly.

Brett Llewellyn: Always helpful and they usually have what I need. And I often learn something. Beats going to a big box store 90% of the time!

Panos Giannopoulos: Great selection at decent prices, I was positively surprised. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

Katelyn Peng: Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. They have everything I've needed, plus lots of extra fun things. Excellent neighborhood hardware store.

Roxanna M: Love this little shop! It has lots of variety for it's size and very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Kelsey Rote: . Grateful we have them in the neighborhood.

Dave Barth: Water heater purchase and installation. Less than half the price of the two estimates I got from plumbers. Got an estimate over the phone and had it installed a couple days later. No upsells or problems. If you're just swapping out one water heater for a similar one, that's very straightforward and a plumber is going to charge way too much.

Nimrod Vered: Super friendly service.

Roger Knopf: Great inventory, including lots of plants and garden material. Outstanding personal service too!

Lily Zhang: Maeve was helpful on the phone and offered to help remove a stuck stripped screw, and even went above and beyond in helping remove the other screws. I was so thankful for her help!

Bea Money: I bought a table off of market place that I was so excited abt but while reassembling, I promptly stripped threads off the pedestal. I finally decided to fix it and went to Greenwood Hardware to try to find a solution. I was thinking a new nut or an epoxy solution but after talking with Ian, he thought he could re-thread the table if I brought it in!! This morning in less than 10 mins he fixed my table giving me back my closet and helping create a breakfast nook I have dreamed of. I am so happy and grateful for the extra attention. With his help, this table serves me and stays out of a landfill! Plus +1 for the Local Peeps!

Andrew Hazlett: found in a long visit to one or more big box stores. But Greenwood also has things you won't find at Home Depot, e.g., Japanese saws, Leatherman multi tools, and a knowledgeable, helpful staff.

David Felthous: This store is a real find. Small, but they have a little bit of everything. How do they do that?!?!

Stewart Lumber & Hardware Co.: what do users think?

Jacob Dwyer: Go to a big box store if you want cheap materials and nonexistent customer service. Come to Stewart if you want quality merchandise competitively priced, with exceptional customer service from knowledgeable staff who quietly, consistently get the repeat business from the pros that know. There are only a few legacy lumber yards in Seattle, Stewart has been around for as long as they have because they do it all correctly. Thanks you guys, I have had several successful jobs with Stewart Lumber's help.

James A. Wolf: A nice hardware store bought a few hardware tools for my DIY project. Nice staff and good prices

Charla Chatman: Mike in the lumber yard deserves a raise! He is SOOOOOO helpful and super insightful on how he can make your project come to life. Stewart Lumber is super lucky to have someone like him working on the team. Also the cashier who is into football is super cool too.

STARTZMAN pukanich: The staff are friendly, patient and so helpful! I had a great experience here, especially in contrast to working with the poor folks at Lowes. I hope this great business stays in our community forever. It's a real gem.

Lauren Anderson: Superior help from the staff here, they made finding the right stuff easy. Shop had a good selection of products to get my small home project done. Will absolutely be back for future building needs.

Bonnie Goldthwaite: The staff here are the best! A night and day difference in customer service compared to other area stores. I will be coming to Stewart Lumbar first from now on.

Regis Denefle: Good old hardware store feel. Seems well supplied.

Corey Mack: I went to them for help getting wood for my Eagle Scout Project, and they hooked me up with some wood nice and easy, no big hassle. Would reccomend!

Albert Chen: Great service, selection, quality, and prices. Not much to complain about.

Edward Jackson: The staff here are super friendly.

L. Elise Whisler: but it was fine for what I'm doing, and its my own fault for now going out to the lumber yard or bringing my tape measure. Also for such a small footprint, they stock EVERYTHING

Alan Michael: 5 star employees and excellent lumber!

Jeremy Morton-Maxson: Old school hardware and lumber yard. The staff seems to really help me in my projects and find the materials that are best for me at a reasonable price.

Junction True Value Hardware: what do users think?

Paolo Villacarlos: I love coming by this small hardware shop. They’re pretty good and I’ve been able to find some stuff here that’s even cheaper than Amazon, like the Milwaukee wrench I ended up buying. I shop here more than Home Depot due to the convenience of location. And in true hardware store fashion, it is also dog friendly. And good folks too—I had a key made here and it didn’t work when I got home so they remade it for free.

Daniel Phoenix (NPC By Day - Catarn): Staff here are ever-present and non-intrusive, which is exactly what I need while browsing for parts and tools. When I do need assistance, everyone is very knowledgeable and ready to help.

Stan Philip Richards: Love going to True Value in the West Seattle Junction. People are always polite, friendly and helpful !!!

Alex Langston: Amazing

Barbara S: Very helpful staff! Found what I could not find in other stores.

Olimar Pencil: Great selection, even better customer service. The staff here are always friendly and helpful!

DN Englen: Nice store great people and selection

Shannon Jackson: Lots of help offered timely

Will Winter: an actual hardware store!!

Erik Walum: Always there when you need them, a great local business. Elwood at the service desk was amazing and went way above and beyond to help me.

James Fritzinger: If you want a true hardware store go to True Value. Forget the big box stores, especially Lowe's.

Stoneway Hardware Ballard: what do users think?

Jake Miller: . Very close by, great selection, and the staff members are always happy to answer a question or help you find something.

Clark Skillman: The quintessential local hardware store with just about everything you need for your home or backyard improvement/repair. Especially useful when your quick 2 hour Saturday afternoon project creeps into Sunday. There isn't much that is too frivolous or a waste of store space. It's also easier to navigate the medium size shop than Home Depot, but has much more in variety of product than the average tiny Ace Hardware. So when forgetting to get that one key item the first time turns into 2 entire extra trips all the way to Home Depot. Going to Stoneway saves you time on every part of those unexpected extra trips. The employees are both very knowledgeable and friendly/funny. I've asked some impressively stupid questions and received at most a hint of eye roll before an eager desire to fully understand the problem and then a quick discussion of the best path forward.

Jon Schulman: Stoneway Hardware's secret is their nearly endless selection of small hardware. Not only do they carry nuts, bolts, and washers in every dimension, thread size, and material - the staff is equally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

Paul Tidwell: Local hardware store with everything I need.

Vladimir Lebed: Nice and friendly receiving staff.Quickly unloaded truckloads of topsoil.Good job!!!

Steven Zeller: You can get specific lengths of wire here, which is great for me because my truck is small

Kit Lewis: The most helpful, most knowledgeable folks in the best hardware store in Seattle. You can get anything here for projects big or small. I love that you can buy just one nail or bolt or nut or washer, because that's all you need for your 100-year-old cabinet hinge in your 100-year-old house. Ask any question, they know the answer and they'll tell you with a smile and wrap it in wry wit. These people know their hardware and their customers. The best there is.

Valentyna Shumylova: I'm very ouhg

Carl Martin: Lovely store! I come here all the time for the bits and bops that I may need -- prices are slightly higher than big box stores but they make that more than up in my mind given the excellent service you receive every time you have a question and the convenience of being right in Ballard. Can highly recommend!

michael marron: Great place!

Sara Mae: Update: we keep coming back and every member of the staff we've interacted with has been stellar! Everyone takes their time and ensures they answer all your questions and share their knowledge. This means sometimes you wait while staff is helping someone, but it's worth the wait! Will keep coming back for the awesome and knowledgeable staff!---My 8yo has gotten into whiddling and I didn't know where to start. Charles was a huge help. Very patient and recommended good entry level options as well as safety ideas for us. We'll be back as the hobby grows!

Philip Gillette: Always fun to shop here.

Geoffrey Martin-Noble: Nelson was super helpful and went above and beyond to get me everything I needed for my project. He also made sure to explain the why of what he was recommending, so I learned things as well.I see some reviews complaining about not being proactively offered assistance by an employee. I did have to approach someone to ask for help. I found that was a bit more difficult because it didn't seem like the employees had identifying name tags or uniforms and I came when some were on their lunch break, so I asked the person at the register. But to me that seems like a minor thing. If you want help, ask for it.Very glad I came here.

Zachary Suchanek: Extremely helpful staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me and my friend with our elaborate project. We cannot thank you guys enough!

W. White: Great resource for a verity of project needs. The staff are always friendly and helpful with ideas. I've found good prices on some bulk type stock items. The email notifications are helpful with current specials.

Gordon Kushner: Good products, knowledgeable people to assist. Doesn't get better than that.

Melanie Vartanian: Absolutely fantastic customer service!! I came in looking for a very particular piece. Right away, a staff member helped me look, and when we figured out it wasn't available, provided some options. I'm so grateful forbthe extra time he took to help me find a solution.

Steve Dando: Best tool store on the west coast!

Elizabeth Olson: Everything you need for every kind of woodworker, knowledgeable staff, classes, and good sales

Bill Sauneuf: It is like a candy store for woodworkers! So many fantastic tools and accessories to help us make fantastic things in the woodshop.Knowledge staff, friendly service, fair prices.Jeff runs the shop/classroom area and he does a great job!

I was able to find the kit without any issues. All the aisles were well marked and there were plenty of employees available should I have needed to ask for assistance. I went midmorning in a weekday. Amanda McCullough: Always very kind people. I come for my soil mixes, home plants, as well as all my veggie and herb starts

Kelly Clowers: Had better selection of what I needed than Lowes despite being a much smaller store

Luke River: A community store where you can receive quality care and services. I love coming here when I need home improvement stuff or indoor plants since their staff are very helpful and give you individual attention whenever possible.

Meltem Aksu: 5 stars for Travis!! He always saves the day, super helpful and he's gone out of his way multiple occasions to assist with our every need.

Jessica Ward: I like shopping at McLendon Hardware over Ace, Home Depot, and Lowes. The hardware store has a family owned and operated feel to it. The plant selection is my favorite area to go to. I also get to bring my dogs into the store as well.

Jack E Graham Jr: They had what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing me with the location of what I was looking for.
