Alex Olson: Had my daughter’s 3rd birthday here, and it was great. The staff is SO accommodating and nice. One person helped us load presents into the car, and they were just so friendly with the kids. They handled 12 energetic toddlers amazingly. Would definitely recommend for a fun birthday party for kids!
Christa Pietromonaco: My two children started with ADI Magnolia in September and they have both my 5 1/2 year old son and 4 year old daughter have been loving it. The class is a great mix of free form dance and some structure to help build a base for ballet. Would highly recommend the school.

Jennifer Mendelson: My teenager and I have had a wonderful experience taking adult beginning ballet at ADI in Greenwood. Gifted teacher, sweet students, welcoming studio. Couldn't be better! We are having a great time!
Brenna Pink Pampena: We love American Dance Institute. My daughter has been taking classes here for many years. She started in ballet, but is now in modern and hip hop. The teachers are fantastic. Dedicated and talented. I highly recommend this studio.
Laura Ingrao: Great spot for adult dance classes! I love that it’s one of the few spots that offers shuffling classes. I wish more people knew about them having shuffle so there could be more advanced sessions as well as the beginner.
Louisa Peck: I enjoyed ballet classes at ADI way back in the 1980s when I took my body's abilities for granted, but I also returned there in my 50s to revive my skills. The atmosphere was perfect for me. I got encouragement and expert guidance, but what I most remember is my excitement when a teacher told me I belonged in the intermediate class! I hope to go back to ADI in my 60s and try some jazz dance.

Pearl White: Just took a contemporary class with Angie, and I was just so impressed with how welcoming of a space it was. She is by far one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She teaches a TRUE beginners class. All too often I see teachers moving too quickly in beginner classes or assuming students have dance background and know terminology. Angie starts from the very beginning. Very impressed.
Cynthia Spalding: The ballet classes for adults are great. Wonderful teachers, good studio spaces, relaxed but mindful atmosphere, friendly attitudes. A bit expensive, but worth it. Victoria at Greenwood is great, patient, informative, and inspirational!

Monty Owens: My six year old daughter takes a free movement dance class here and loves it! We have tried two other local dance studios and Vam is her favorite by far. She looks forward to coming and has really enjoyed herself. I highly recommend this studio!

Veronica is a wonderful teacher who really pushes her students to achieve more and does it in a way that is encouraging instead of demoralizing. She is very aware of the individual dancer and gives plenty of individual and group corrections during class.Vam offers a friendly and welcoming dance community which is very rare in the ballet world. I love that folks cheer each other on and laugh together in class- it’s a great sign of a healthy dance environment! MJQ: Our kids take tap classes here. Veronica and Mark have a created a studio that is not only a great place to learn dance, but also has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During the pandemic, we've started remote classes, and they're working really well.

He picks engaging choreographies, while taking input from the class. So well so that my daughter now choreographs dances at home. The academy offers various classes for adults and kids. Kids classes go beyond mere dancing, and serve as personality building opportunities.

Kay Lee: The staff is the genuinely wonderful! They’re understanding and accommodating. They understand kids get sick and allow makeup classes. My daughter has had classes with a few different instructors and has loved them all. This is a place I refer others to all the time.
Olga Garmash: I am taking atdStudios adult classes since January 2023, specifically Intermediate/Advanced Ballet and Barre. I really like the school and the instructors, always have great time. When I join a new class, the atmosphere is very welcoming and instructors are always very kind and accommodating to my level. The school also has special events together with the classes, which are a lot of fun.
Lana Sturmer: Maygan and her team are both professional and fun! Both our daughters love their classes with Teacher Maygan and Teacher Sabine. ATD's administration is always efficient, kind and accomodating with life with kids. Highly recommend ATD for little ones and big ones to explore their inner dancers!

Sodelba Amador: This was my first class, here. I loved the class with Moire Hale! She was welcoming and sweet. Also, whatever headset she was using, I wish other instructors with microphones used the same! It was clear and not so loud. The class was fun and upbeat with good challenges. I am out of shape so my legs were shaking through some of the legwork. Love it.
Amina Mansour: I’ve been looking for a fun but also challenging dance fitness class and I finally found the perfect mix with Cliff Simmons’ Afrobeats/dance hall class. Cliff’s energy is amazing and the class is so much fun. I enjoyed my time and got a killer workout at the same time. I’m definitely coming back even though I live in Bellevue!

Marian Wagner: has been going since she was 4 months and it has been such a great class to learn how to move, dance, and play with baby in ways that support baby’s physical and motor development! I have also made many friends with other parents there and my baby looooves going and seeing the other babies there too! I highly recommend this class for those with and without concerns about their baby’s physical development. It has been such an important part of my learning and supporting my baby’s development.

Emily Cherkin: Creative Dance Center is a diamond in the rough. We have been taking our kids to classes here for nearly ten years, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Not only is the teaching staff phenomenal, but the inclusive, whole-brain, everyone-is-welcome approach is emulated in everything CDC does. I love the multi-age opportunities for the children in the form of Mosaic Junior Dance company and Kaleidoscope. My kids love the shows every Mother's Day weekend, which has become a family tradition. Unlike other dance studios, the emphasis here is on how brain and body are connected, expressing yourself through movement, and working creatively with other people of different ages and ability levels. This place is outstanding and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Laurent Gherardi: I’ve had two kids there attending since before they could walk. The “Brain Dance” and strong community is an amazing addition to raising the whole child. Self choreographing dance makes it creative and cooperative not competitive. They are inclusive of all bodies and minds. My kids’ balance and movement would not be the same without Creative Dance Center and their long standing tradition to be there for their development.

Swanky Christy: Amazing first time experience at McCaw hall ballet. Nutcracker was one of my favorite ballet! It brought me many childhood memories as my mom used to take me when I was a kid back in Europe. Classic Tchaikovsky music was always such a pleasure to listen. I love the costumes, the choreography the music, decorations everything was absolutely amazing.Only one thing I didn't like but it's not ballet related its more to McCaw hall. Coming from Europe and going my whole life to ballet & theatre we have amazing breaks with champagne small bites and fancy crostinis. The beer in plastic cup and selection of some donuts was absolutely disappointing. I took 1 champagne that they forced me to pour in plastic cup and it was so disgusting! I regret I took that drink I couldn't even finish it. I wish choices were more extravagant just like in Europe.

Alex Free: I recently attended a performance of The Nutcracker by the Pacific Northwest Ballet and was absolutely blown away! The dancers were incredibly talented and the choreography was stunning. The theater itself was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend attending a performance if you get the chance!

S M: Great place to see the ballet. Nutcracker is incredibly family friendly. Gorgeous costumes, beautiful dancing, pleasant atmosphere. Cost is reasonable and there are differing cost tiers that allow you to find something that fits your budget.
David Nold: Swan Lake. Perfectly done. How lucky Seattle is. Four acts so three intermissions. Some great seats still available. Thinking of seeing it twice.
Nibs: First time attending the Nutcracker Ballet. Such a fun evening with family and really kicked off the holidays for us!
Janelle Donovan: before the show starts. It's a lifesaver to not have to stand in the line during the intermission. I would also suggest getting there early for the Nutcracker because they decorate the lobby and it's easier to get booster seats. The show itself was very well done, although I would have preferred not to have the movie in the beginning and middle.

Cassandra Rogers: My family has been dancing at Spotlight for 8 years now, and last year even I joined in!!! I started taking their adult Tap Class and have been having a blast! Their teachers do a great job making sure that each level of dancer feels supported and is able to learn the difference steps. We love coming to class each week and the studio feels like a second home.
Corina Williams: I started taking classes here as an adult and have found excellent caring instructors. Now my kids take classes here as well. I love the supportive atmosphere and the spring productions.

Miss Jilyan and Miss Amanda do a great job of helping new dancers and those coming back to dance feel welcome and encouraged. Danielle D'Silva: is a gifted instructor and educator. Our preschool-aged daughter grew not only as a dancer, but both socially and emotionally as well in her classes. The Spotlight space is warm, inviting, and cheerful. Spotlight Dance Center is a gem and true gift to the Renton community and beyond!
Madaline Goldmann: started here when she was about 1 with the dance with me classes, and she just loves it! Miss Amanda is great with the younger kids. My daughter is learning to appreciate all forms of dance and movement. The studio is conveniently located in downtown renton.

Rilla Bylund: I am blown away by the creativity and kindness this studio displays! They take kids of all abilities and include them in every class. It’s fun and artsy! The owner is a teacher herself and I’m so impressed by that. Her passion is evident throughout the year at weekly classes and running the final recital in June. My daughter had so much fun with it and the recital brought me to tears. These teachers hand pick coordinated songs and costumes that collaborated perfectly with the theme. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s performance was even better than the movie in my opinion!

Having never participated in dance myself, but knew of the different classes and crazy schedules my dance friends had growing up, I was very confused and didn't know where to start. I called up Spotlight and Amanda answered. She was so kind, and even with my millions of questions, she never made me feel dumb for asking. My daughter loves her acro teacher Miss Jilyan. She's encouraging and gives positive reinforcement. Would highly recommend Spotlight!

Sierra Joy: I danced a ton when I was younger and have been meaning to find adult classes that would challenge me and to a point I was comfortable with. I took a couple classes over the summer as this studio had many options available for different styles and difficulties and I had a great time, the instructors were friendly and helpful and it was a very welcoming environment!
Mollie Zautke: My daughter has been taking ballet classes for over 2 years at ADI. Dakota is a wonderful, patient teacher. We love it there!

Dennis Landmesser: This was my first online class with Dakota Crist. I found her to be a caring teacher with exceptional skill. Her corrections were meaningful and immediately applicable. Dakota asked about injuries which was important to me with an overuse injury to me knee. I also need to rave about the quality of the production. Sound, lighting, camera angles were skillfully set. Transmission was flawless. I've had several years of online classes with technical problems that just eat-up the flow of the class and any enthusiasm the teacher was working so hard to inspire. American Dance Institute nailed it!

Margaretta Campagna: Wonderful dance studio! My daughter took dance here from the age of 2 to 6 on and off. She loved it. She primarily had teacher Dakota as her instructor. I loved how Dakota incorporated exercises that helped the kids learn about spacial thinking, narrative thinking, character, and time. My daughter got a strong foundation in dance and had a lot of fun.
