Century Ballroom: what do users think?

Patrick H: Fun and very well priced and very progressive with lots of people.

J Vince: Great venue for queer and others dancing. It is a fun space to host your next event, be it dancing, a concert, or something else. Staff is friendly.

Xin Yun Tea: Love the social and bachata classes as well as socials

Greg Bray: Nice big ballroom, plenty of floor to get your dance on.

Bidzina Kevkhishvili: Very welcoming class for everyone at different levels. You must check it out!

Andrada Tonu:

Nicole Olson: Century Ballroom is Wonderful. I love all of the instructors, the classes, the socials, the tin table, the environment encouraged and maintained by instructors and students alike. Parking around the area is sometimes difficult, but the Capitol Hill light rail station is nearby! It's a nice area, very walkable, and it's lovely to open the windows in the ballroom to get fresh air. Great people, great drinks, great classes and a great environment!

La Clave Cubana Salsa: what do users think?

Jenna S: I highly recommend La Clave Cubana's casino, rudea de casino, and bachata courses as well as their styling and Afro-Cuban workshops. Reinier, Daniela, and all of the instructors create the most welcoming dance community. Their instruction is in English and Spanish. Their performance teams are spectacular and they throw an amazing party!

Ludwig R. Williams: Great salsa/latin dance lessons, awesome parties, friendly partners to dance with and my first trip to Cuba all from one place: La Clava Cubana Salsa.

Ruslan M: I recently had the pleasure of attending La Clave Cubana salsa studio, led by the incredibly talented Reinier and Daniella, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The first thing that caught my attention was their emphasis on teaching original Cuban salsa. This is where the dance truly comes from, and you can feel the authenticity in every step. The atmosphere they've created is special, amazing, and uniquely Cuban.Reinier and Daniella's love for teaching salsa shines through in their greatly structured step-by-step lessons. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, they know how to guide you to success. The way they break down each step makes the learning process a breeze. What's even more astonishing is that this top-quality instruction comes at a very affordable price, especially when compared to other studios in the Seattle area. It's evident that they're committed to making salsa accessible to everyone.Last but not least, the vibe at La Clave Cubana is just amazing. The community there is warm, welcoming, and filled with friendly faces. I've made a lot of new friends and feel like I've been introduced to a vibrant and engaging community right here in Seattle.I wholeheartedly recommend La Clave Cubana to anyone looking to dive into the world of salsa. With Reinier and Daniella leading the way, you're sure to have an exhilarating and enriching experience!

Stephanie Lecovin: from Reiner and Daniela for the last two years. I've enjoyed every minute! They are professional and they challenge their students while keeping lessons light and fun. They've helped to create a wonderful community of salseros!I only wish I had more time to attend classes and socials. The opportunity is there to dive in....there are multiple classes every week, plus meet-ups at bars, clubs, restaurants, and outdoor venues to practice rueda and salsa.Reinier and Daniela also host an annual Cuban dance fest that is the best! It's usually in early July...I couldn't go this year, but I went in 2002 and it was phenomenal...with top instructors from around the country! I highly recommend their regular classes, the dance festival, and any workshops they host.

Aimee Samara: and casino rueda, leading the Seattle area cuban dance scene with authenticity and *ánimo*. Reinier brings a wonderful balance of humor and high expectations to his teaching, modeled from his Cuban heritage, while Daniela brings positive, clear instruction, and a natural, impressive dance form to learn from.

John Miller: Reinier and Daniela Valdes are excellent instructors who really know how to teach, not just dance. Steps are introduced gradually working up to the complete routine. Even beginning dancers feel comfortable. I dance much better after every class. Their Seattle Cuban Dance Festival in July was the highlight of the year with excellent visiting dancing stars teaching and performing. The music and dancing at the fabulous Club Sur each night were very memorable. I highly recommend them!

Hideko: The Seattle Cuban Dance Fest 2023 was truly an amazing and unique experience. Reinier Valdes and Daniela Gallardo, the host, were very attentive, friendly, and wonderful. All maestros were incredibly talented top notch teachers. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you!

Howard Javier Anderson: who has more authentic credentials then Reinier. Once you learn the basics at class, the real fun begins. They put on smartly organized parties and live bands meet ups and cruises and dance festivals throughout the year all designed to bring people together to have fun dancing. And the nice thing about it all ages are welcome that's something that seems to be unique this particular dance community. It's a wholesome vibe. With spice of course! O mejor dicho, con yuca, congri, y quizas algo de ron tambien porque no? En fin!CUBAN dance you say? I don't want anything to do with Cuba you're thinking? Don't worry, in all my years going to Clave Cubana events off and on, I've never heard them discuss politics. So leave your politics at the door. This is about having fun with a beautiful art form.OK, so that's my review of Clave Cubana, I hope it helps you to decide to go for it. Personally it's been a while since I've had to opportinity to attend some classes/events so I"m looking forward to getting back into it when I'm back in the near future. You should check them out! Saludos!

David Li: My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Seattle Cuban Dance Festival. We had heard a lot of good things about the festival from friends who had attended previously and the weekend more than exceeded our expectations: we learned lots in the classes and had so much fun at the nightly parties. Staying on campus at the University of Washington was convenient and a pleasant surprise! Would have been even better if the University staff had given us a more general orientation of the campus so that we wouldn’t have to discover things for ourselves. Very much looking forward to coming back next year and encouraging some of our friends to join us. A special thanks to Reinier, Daniela, Ciro and Liz!!!!

Cathy Chandler-Klein: I thought the Seattle Cuban Festival was amazing, well-organized and so much fun! The teachers were fabulous and I loved the variety of classes. I grew in my dancing skills and understanding of the dance genres. Being on campus was great. Housing, food and classes were all easy walking distance. The teachers and attendees were all friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable. Thanks so much. It was a transcendent experience. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Tony Soto Vazquez: La Clave Cubana Seattle/ Great dance community… nice environment… if you want to learn Cuban Salsa and Casino Rueda in Seattle / enjoy Reinier and Daniela classes … Agua / God bless you…

josefina R: I recommend this place for connoisseurs of tropical music such as salsa merengue bachata etc. or and now for the sound people

Tatiana Nikitina: I recently moved to the country and was looking for new friends to socialize and spend time with. I danced a bit of Rueda de Casino before I moved and I enjoyed it, so I was looking for that specific class. I was beyond excited when I had found Reinier and Daniella! They are not only great teachers, but also they are able to create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the class. I met so many nice people there and even my best friend! It feels great to come to the classes every time. So if you’re looking for the same, it’d highly recommend La Clave Cubana school!

Google account: Responsible teachers, broad material, very positive attitude community. Things never get old. School offers different levels, as well as experimenting with different directions of learning. Teachers are really patient and also really want you to get material properly. Everyone. And so you can use it on next social or Rueda.A ton of complimentary events like Gas Works or parctica on Sundays. Or Socials after classes sometimes. I'm sure to become a part of the community feels like to be a part of family. It's hard to keep low key profile, but it's also possible.I really hope there will be more and more folks making more more circles of Cuban Rueda in Seattle. It's fun, it's healthy, it's very optimistic. 😎Agua!

Rustam Mamedov: An amazing place to learn Salsa.it is my favorite place for salsa in Seattle! Rainer and Daniella created a very friendly welcoming environment. Their style of dancing is different to other schools I have been to in Seattle . It’s very much Cuban salsa .very smooth and beautiful.they dance so well but also teach well! Also their progressions in class all make sense because they all are connected from class to class from lower level to higher level . I have learned a lot from them !!They teach at club sur which has plenty of space to spread out. There is plenty of parking at the area all the time .They also organize great social events with live bands . It is awesome!!

Stacey Fitzpatrick: I highly recommend La Clave Cubana! I have done classes with Daniela and Rey and learned so much. They are each highly skilled dancers with a wide breadth of knowledge with respect to Cuban dances and are above all patient, encouraging and effective teachers. Furthermore, they just know how to create a really fun environment in which to learn. Great for dance newbies or seasoned latin dancers looking to add some depth and flavor to their dancing.

Eleanor Liebhaber: Thank you to Rey for making my partners birthday AMAZING! Rey came over and hosted a salsa lesson for us and a few friends; we had so much fun! Rey brought a great energy and everyone was talking about the class long into the evening. We even are considering taking some of their classes at the studio; we loved it that much! Thank you, thank you!

Suenos de Salsa: what do users think?

Akash Kharita: Отличные инструкторы!

Yuchen Zhang: Все инструкторы

Selena Z.: , ballroom/international latin, and belly dance across countries, states, and several studios. I love dancing and I could say I am a very picky and high standard person when it comes to the studio quality, including instructors' skills and their work ethics, studio's group class atmosphere, etc.I could vouch for Suenos de Salsa that, this is one of the BEST Salsa/Bachata dance studios that I've been across states. Both Michael and Kelly are great dancers themselves, and they teach really well because: 1

Kari Bennett: :I still feel like this is a great, safe place to learn bachata or salsa if you are new to dancing or to Latin dance. The pacing is just right and the community is very kind and approachable here - I made a lot of my dance friends and even my partner here. However, if you're looking to improve beyond a beginner/early intermediate level

Ali N: Michael and Kelly both are very helpful. Thanks!

Hikaru: , and started charging $7. I think $7 is reasonable. However, it became $12 when I went back in March 2023. This place is Wed short time social. I feel $12 is too expensive.

Abhishek Lal: Hands down the best Salsa/Bachata studio in the Seattle area for social or performance dancing. Michael and Kelly are both great dancers themselves and they are genuinely interested in helping you learn. The group classes themselves will expose you to a steep learning curve. While you might be thrown off by the absence of a "formal syllabus" listed on a page, simply try out the classes for 3-4 months to grasp the teaching style. The lessons are well structured and you will learn a wider variety of dance moves here than at some of the other studios where progress is much slower. You will learn much faster here simply because the teachers don't hold you back artificially just to get you to buy more lessons. A certain competitor which is a franchised dance studio has a notorious reputation for wasting students' time and money - I would go with Suenos de Salsa any day!.I was never pushed to take private lessons here but did so of my own accord to work on finer aspects of the dances I was interested in.100% worth the time, money and effort!

Biraj Parikh: It's an amazing place for Salsa and Bachata social on every Wednesday. The format is 50% Salsa and 50% Bachata.

Mark Grover: Love, love, love, this place!

Blade RR: If you are learning for the first time, or you are experienced, all level will learn and sharpen their skills. Best school in the city!

American Dance Institute Greenwood: what do users think?

Jennifer Mendelson: My teenager and I have had a wonderful experience taking adult beginning ballet at ADI in Greenwood. Gifted teacher, sweet students, welcoming studio. Couldn't be better! We are having a great time!

Brenna Pink Pampena: We love American Dance Institute. My daughter has been taking classes here for many years. She started in ballet, but is now in modern and hip hop. The teachers are fantastic. Dedicated and talented. I highly recommend this studio.

Laura Ingrao: Great spot for adult dance classes! I love that it’s one of the few spots that offers shuffling classes. I wish more people knew about them having shuffle so there could be more advanced sessions as well as the beginner.

Louisa Peck: I enjoyed ballet classes at ADI way back in the 1980s when I took my body's abilities for granted, but I also returned there in my 50s to revive my skills. The atmosphere was perfect for me. I got encouragement and expert guidance, but what I most remember is my excitement when a teacher told me I belonged in the intermediate class! I hope to go back to ADI in my 60s and try some jazz dance.

Jessica & Tyler Bidwell: My daughter and I both take classes here and we love it. Pearla is a great teacher and I am so glad I signed up for her class. She radiates positivity and made learning so easy. Definitely will take more classes in the future.

Brianna Duda: I love this studio! The teachers are great, the students are friendly, and the atmosphere is so inclusive. Highly recommend.

Pearl White: Just took a contemporary class with Angie, and I was just so impressed with how welcoming of a space it was. She is by far one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She teaches a TRUE beginners class. All too often I see teachers moving too quickly in beginner classes or assuming students have dance background and know terminology. Angie starts from the very beginning. Very impressed.

Cynthia Spalding: The ballet classes for adults are great. Wonderful teachers, good studio spaces, relaxed but mindful atmosphere, friendly attitudes. A bit expensive, but worth it. Victoria at Greenwood is great, patient, informative, and inspirational!

Randy Decker: The class i attended was fantastic. The instructor was great to work with. Everyone at the school has been great to deal with. Highly recommend ADI Greenwood to anyone looking to learn to dance.

Tan Chen: My daughter Naomi loves the Irish dance class she had over the years! Janelle and Elizabeth are great dance educators and it has been a great experience for Naomi.

Zenee Helmstetler: I loved my adult tap dancing class!! Really great experience, would love to take another class in the future!

Anne Heskel: Fantastic local dance studio that offers a great variety of classes for all ages and ability. Instructors are kind and focused on teaching while having fun.

H L: ADI is the place to go for adult dancers! Whether it is your first class ever or 100th class, it is a no-judgement, positive, no pressure environment. Classes are SO fun and go at a pace that is easy to follow! I've tried other dance studios and they were very stressful.

Megan Marshman: Wonderful studio. Excellent instruction that empowers and encourages but also inspires you to improve. I loved every class!
