Sue Lee: It took quite a while to get in. It's the sign of the times, and they are extremely busy. But they are the nicest, especially Gage, and they do really, really good work. The location is easy to get to and there are places to park as you do dropoffs and pickups. I wish they did more writing with the book projects, though. It was heavy on the art and not much on the story or writing. I also thought more directed instruction with techniques could have made it better, but I think providing a space for the kids to create on their own, following their own inner artist, so to speak, was worthwhile. The room didn't have AC, but kids didn't seem to mind much. The room was oozing with a sense of art and project-making/building.

The staff were so nice and helpful, there were several drink options including non-alcoholic options, and the playlist for the event was a ton of fun. Hailey: I have had a wonderful experience with Pratt so far. I just completed the introductory stone carving class with Leon White. It was an 8 week series from 6p-10p every Wednesday. Our group of 8 bonded and had a blast learning how to use the hand and power tools. I was an absolute beginner yet I learned a lot and had so much fun. Very nonjudgmental and supportive environment. Looking forward to taking the next class in the series.
MDH: Big studios, good equipment and facilities. Instructors are super knowledgeable and friendly. They were explaining the process in detail which made me a bit more confident when working with hot flames.I had a blast in the glass studios.There is plenty of free parking around the building.

Esther Varney: Had a fantastic experience with Skyway Auto Body after our car was hit and needed body work. They were able to get us in within a matter of weeks rather than scheduling months out as everyone else in the Seattle area was doing. The staff were very friendly and respectful, and responded quickly whenever I called. They took care of all the insurance dealings completely independently, which impressed me since they weren’t on our insurance company’s list of shops and I had assumed I’d need to be the go between. Work was done quickly and our car looks great! Only two minor cons I can think of are that I did need to reach out to get updates and the location is a bit tricky to exit - it’s on a busy road with limited visibility. That said, the communication is understandable for a small high demand business and one of the guys actually went out into the road to block traffic when I pulled out of their driveway so I felt very safe. I lucked out because I only live a few blocks from their location, but they are more than worth the drive for folks who don’t live nearby!

After Consulting to the Hospitality Industry for 30 years and coordinating the openings of over a dozen 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts and over 50 restaurants across the country and imbedding a culture of heart filled hospitality and genuine care, I was blown away with my experience at DeGrazia's Autobody. Not only did they do what they said what they would do, and expertly repair the damage to my 2007 Honda CRV sustained in a drive-through car wash, every staff person that I encountered, greeted me with a smile, interacted me with a caring attitude AND the entire staff hustles while they work. My car was involved in a hit and run accident and a friend referred me to their shop. I have never been so thankful. Most shops were at least 6-8 weeks out, just for estimations. sarah brown: DeGrazia’s is a family run business that has been doing this a long time and for good reason. They went above and beyond in fixing my car’s rear windshield, hatch, and bumper. They were honest about the timeline of repairs during a period when liftgates are on shortage and got me in sooner for an estimate than any other auto body shop in Seattle. This was great because it got the process going for ordering parts sooner. They dealt with the insurance company directly to ensure new parts were used and the windshield was calibrated correctly. My repaired car looks brand new thanks to their work. Special thanks to Steve who was very communicative and walked me through the estimate and process of how insurance works. It turns out he has a lot of experience in car insurance / appraisal work so I think that really helped to ensure my the insurance company covered the proper repairs.

I called around to multiple body shops in Ballard, North Seattle, Lynnwood and the East side. All were booked up for 2-4 months. mindi katzman: My experience with Maaco, Burien, was excellent. I wanted to change the gray as the pavement color of my Rav4 Hybrid to something bright and blue. Kevin, estimator, walked me through my options, clearly explaining the differences in costs. I opted for a higher end choice and it was worth every penny. The color is fabulous, the work excellent. It was even finished in about 10 days, sooner that original ETA.. I believe the staff were as happy with the job as I was. See below for my dull before and happy after picture.
