Kyle Lybeck: prices are actually lower than equivalent options seen at farmer's markets and the like that I see people buy up like crazy; remember it's an indulgence treat, and it's nice to support local brick and mortar shops.

Due to the smell I just knew everything would be delicious!Prior to going I called to make sure they had a plain vanilla cupcake and they sure did have one and it is🔥🔥🔥🤤. I ordered an assortment of items just to try and looking forward to going back and trying more treats in the future.You definitely can't go wrong coming to this shop!Dietary restrictions: Vegan and GF optionsParking: Located in a shopping center so parking is available. We exchanged several phone calls to finalize ingredient lists and flavor details, and they even further customized it when they realized I had a preference for one ingredient/flavor over another. The cake was delicious even with all the substitutes I had to make. As a baker myself, I felt very pleased and satisfied with the cake Askatu made for me. Will definitely come back for another cake in the future.

I’m visiting from Atlanta ga and wish we had something this good there. Wouldn’t strongly recommend to anyone looking for delicious baked goods - whether in need of gluten free foods or not. Also, staff is very welcoming and personable. Made my time in Seattle that much better.
Heather Foisie: We stopped by to see what they were all about and I'm so glad we did. All of their goods are beautifully crafted and I love the variety of creative flavors. I think my absolute favorites are their tea cakes. The citrus cardamom was out of this world incredible. They're also the kindest, most welcoming shop I think I've ever been to in downtown Seattle. We'll definitely be back!
LeRoux Matau: My new favorite place in Seattle. An actually allergen free bakery. I’m very allergic to dairy and sensitive to wheat so it’s a godsend to find tasty baked goods I can enjoy. I love coming here to try whatever new treat they’ve crafted. The different cookies, donuts, hand pies, and truffles I’ve tried have all been delicious. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Brightens my day every time I go in. Caitlin O’Connell: The cake was delicious and Anastasia was easy to work with. I had to pick up the cake a few days early because of the holiday weekend, Anastasia was a little worried about the freshness of the fruit on top of the cake but it stayed damn near perfect in the fridge till our anniversary. We had some scheduling complications on our side and she was super flexible with the pickup timing.The carrot cake was delicious. The frosting was a Swiss Meringue Buttercream and was the perfect amount of sweet. It wasn't too thick and really added to the cake rather than burrying it.The 6" was a good size for a group of 8 adults and we only ate about half of it so there was plenty for leftovers.

Britt Burritt: Our order from Hunny Do was executed superbly. The dinosaur pops we requested turned out more adorable and tastier than I had imagined. The details were so well done that it was almost a shame to eat them—almost. The owner was great at communication and highly professional. Emily Newell: My husband and I went through Hunny Do Cake Pops for our wedding last October. Michael was so nice to work with and was very accommodating. As we were getting married in the midst of Covid, we opted for cake pops as an easy, single serving dessert option. We asked if we could have the pops individually wrapped to further limit cross contamination between pops and Michael did so with no issue. The pops were packaged perfectly and easy to transport. We had a 75 minute drive up to Roslyn after picking up the pops and didn’t worry at all about them getting damaged in the process. The pops themselves were simply gorgeous and DELICIOUS - I honestly had to fight to even snag one pop from my own wedding! I can think of quite a few guests who singlehandedly enjoyed 5 or more pops throughout the night!
Nate Mills: We shopped 4 different places for cake pops and Hunny Do was the best hands down. While a couple others were also quite tasty they do not compare to Hunny Do's presentation and aesthetic quality.

There has not been one thing Amy makes that I did not love. MY FAVORITE BAKERY IN ALL OF SEATTLE! If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be here pecan bars. The chocolate frosting was too sweet for my taste and the raspberry filling not flavorful enough. The owner reached out to talk about it all and make it right, which is a huge part of the experience. Mark Vega: Amazing little bakery! So glad we found it. After traveling to 5 other places around Seattle, we almost gave up trying to find a cake spot. Chelsea automatically welcomed us and was excited to hear we wanted a wedding cake. Her personality was so positive and infectious. We took a couple cupcakes for tasting based on her suggestion and immediately knew we wanted them to be our spot. Holly helped with our order via email, was so pleasant to work with and made the process extraordinarily easy. We provided a few mood board pictures and colors, but everything else was imagined and made by their team. It came out better than we imagined! Best part was the taste. It truly shows they use quality ingredients and everyone was asking where we got it and came back for seconds. We had a separate vegan/gluten free cake and it could have been even more popular than the main raspberry/vanilla one. I ordered a set of mini chocolate cream cupcakes and a chocolate mousse cake for a birthday event and both were smash hits with our guests. The mirror glaze work is incredibly beautiful, and the mousse melts in your mouth. Marina was prompt with her suggestions and replies and placing orders to picking them up were hassle-free. Will be returning back!

Moose: Family owned Japanese cafe. Cheesecakes are good. Flavors are good but slices were a bit too soft when you take them out of the plastic holder and can fall easily when slicing.

Mary Gilmore: I am a picky home baker/chocolate cake enthusiast and i was impressed. They sell out quickly though! Get there early! I got there 4 minutes after they opened and there was already a significant line.The only problem i have is their rotating menu is fun but apparently somewhat unpredictable - i really only came for the april seasonal coconut cake and they ended up not having it. Also these are obviously hand made and with high quality ingredients but paying 10-11 bucks for a single slice of cake that tastes like something I could make at home gives me a touch of sad. I still will tho, chocolate cures the sad.
Katie Reinsvold: We happened upon the shop by accident. Oh my gosh! Where have they been my whole life? We bought three slices, Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream, and the Vanilla Bean Custard. They were all equally delicious and unique. The gentleman helping us was very informative and it was a very friendly atmosphere. It's a good thing we live in Lacey because I would be there every week if I lived in Seattle. They have quickly become our special occasion splurge. We will eventually try the whole menu I'm quite sure. We are very lucky to have found this gem. I think about going back all the time.
Madhur Chopra: Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!

We tasted a wide range of innovative flavor combinations, and easily found something that we both loved. She was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions – making a small gluten-free, dairy-free cake to go along with the primary cake. She worked with us to keep us on budget and delivered a stunning and delicious cake. We kept the top for ourselves and enjoyed it during our honeymoon and we fully intend to order a small cake to celebrate our anniversary!

Anyways it was a Poppyseed cake with strawberry jam. It was incredible! I only wish you sold slices. The frosting itself was just a bit too sweet for my taste. How could you possibly make such fabulous cakes over and over again without a little bit of magic? My husband and I ordered a cake tasting box with six of her custom and unique flavors, and you know it’s a good problem to have when you struggle to choose just one. In the end, we went with one of her micro wedding cakes in the espresso pecan crunch flavor, which was so flavorful and fluffy with delicious crunchy pecan bites. We also asked her to add sugar flowers that matched our wedding flowers. It was definitely worth it. Her flowers added a beautiful custom touch that tied our dessert table into the rest of the wedding.We will absolutely be ordering an anniversary cake when the time comes. Beth: If you are looking for a cake for someone special or just yourself, I recommend you try Morfeys. I have purchased from a handful of other shops in Seattle over the last 5 years and so far, Morfeys Cakes is my favorite. I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday with a white confetti cake that reminded him of his childhood and this cake was so cute. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, without any strong sugary aftertaste. The raspberry buttercream filling was my favorite it was sweet and just a little tart. After we opened the cake, I placed it in a cake container and two days later the cake was still moist and the buttercream tasted fresh. Erin, was just as sweet as the cakes she bakes and was super accommodating. I highly recommend!

Andy Fung: One of the last traditional chinese bakeries standing in Seattle Chinatown. how they survived the dark times it’s because locals love them, my family’s been coming here for years especially for chinese birthday cake. Made to order chinese sponge cake, strawberry with fresh whipped cream. Last summer i rolled in with last minute cake order and guy came out whipping cream by hand. Is that the magic touch? I’d go with this over box grocery store any day. My rec go with the Hong Kong classic pineapple bun, coconut bun and sponge cake.
Mav: Bought a taro flavored birthday cake for an ex-girlfriend from here. She loved it and it looked beautiful too tbh. It was so fresh and tasted divine. Thank you for the wonderfully sweet treat.
Happy Day: I've been coming here since I was a small child and this place still tastes as good as I remember. I always get the 雞尾包 and egg tart, those two are the best items. I also recommend the large coconut loaf, that is good as well. The place may look a little bit older and run-down but please don't hesitate to come here, you won't regret it!
Jeff Richards: I started coming to Cake House about 40 years ago when I would tag along to work with my dad on a Saturday. I would get a Coconut Bun, a cookie or a Bao and a 7Up as a reward for not bugging him too much while he worked. I came here weekly in college when I worked at my aunt/uncle’s ad agency a few blocks away, and I’ve ducked in countless times in the years that have followed. The staff has watched me grow up and now I take my kids here. Everything is made and served with care and gratitude. The food tastes as special today as it did as a kid. Make sure to get a Coconut Bun from the middle and sit down when you experience it!

Kristin Genna: I got to try the vegan brownie gooey cake here and it did not disappoint. It is so rich and tasty. It was packed on a Saturday night but we were still served fairly quickly. I only wish the ice cream portion was a little more. It really pairs nicely with the richness of the hot cake and I ran out of ice cream before I finished the cake portion. Next time I'm in town and I visit I'd probably order an additional scoop.
