Crew had a very tough time installing tack strips into very hard concrete. We also had 22 concrete stairs that were tough going. The crew stayed on it and worked very hard and they did a great job. We are very happy with the finish work and it looks beautiful.

The installation team– Ceasar and Jose– were also very professional: they did the job right, and didn't leave a mess behind. An easy, positive experience. I recommend Consolidated Carpets!

Ingrid H: I have purchased carpet and linoleum over the years from Consolidated Carpets. The service and products are excellent. In 2007 and in 2020 I had sewer problems and had to replace the bathroom floor. Jeff went beyond the call of duty to help me with all the issues that I had to deal with. James installed the new floor and he is a perfectionist and the floor look wonderful. This company is a keeper. I have bought flooring from them for many years but this is the first time I have written a review.

Jeri Schuhmann: Our first experience with Jeff, Dave and Ceasar, has been terrific. No extensive upfront contracts. No Measuring fee. No having to deal with outside installer, etc...Jeff described the service, then filled it to a TEE. The installers were polite, clean and careful to keep the work area clean before and after install of both new vinyl and carpet in 625 sq ft rental unit. All were very patient in answering all of our questions. They are definitely on our SPEED DIAL when turning our next apartment.

They were understanding that time was crucial to us, because we are trying to get the home on the market. Both appointments for the bid and installation were kept to the time stated - no two-hour frame to have to work in. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly, and information was clearly communicated. Installer did a great job, left the home clean and the carpet looks terrific. We would definitely use them again.

Michael Clifford: Last week we recarpeted our whole house with Vogel's. The prospect of the prep for this was overwhelming but Vogel's was very helpful and reassuring. The installers moved furniture and replaced it. Vogel's was very helpful with carpet selection and the result is eye pleasing and lush. It turned out just the way we hoped. The installation was done by real craftsmen in 2 days. The price was less than we expected. I can't think of a good reason to buy carpet elsewhere.

Nicole: Vogel's carpet and flooring did a wonderful job installing my carpet. Originally, when it was installed there was a mistake, and pet stain paint wasn't applied. when I reached out to address my concern, they responded quickly and fairly with how they handled the situation. They worked at my convenience and treated my furniture and house with care with the original installation and the correction. I would 100% use them again and actually plan to because I need new carpet upstairs too! The carpet is good quality and they gave me the option of ordering carpet for upstairs and downstairs at the same time or separately. I chose separately because we are a busy family and need to find time to organize before we can have the upstairs done. I am looking forward to working with them again.

Scharl Young Scott: Bella’s was really wonderful to work with. The project scope was to replace the entire carpeted 2nd and 3rd floors, including the full flights of carpeted stairs to engineered hardwood floors. Our timeline was tight before the move-in date but they were able to accommodate. There were some unforeseen subfloors and fireplace issues that needed to be addressed but Bella’s did a fantastic job resolving them. Andre is an amazing project manager with great communication skills and attention to detail. He and his team don’t cut corners and do everything properly. I would highly recommend working with this company.

Michael McGloin: It is easy to write a 5 star review for a contractor when everything goes smoothly and a job gets done quickly and professionally. This was not our experience with Bella Flooring. A small kitchen tile project took almost two years to complete. First there were manufacturing delays, then there were issues with defective tiles. Repair efforts failed and on and on. Yet, I could not be happier with the experience we had with Bella Flooring. Throughout the process they were a pleasure to deal with. They communicated clearly, did exceptional work with great attention to detail and took pride in making sure the job was done to their high standards. I would never work with another company on a flooring project in Seattle!

Mahalie Stackpole: We've done flooring projects in multiple Seattle neighborhoods with different contractors, including some 'big guys' and our experience with Andre at Bella's was absolutely THE BEST.We had a very tricky 1940s basement with old uneven concrete stairs and they had no problem leveling, adjusting the substrate. Even fixed the entry way and threshold due to slope adjustments. To make it more fun, we live out of town and were not available for frequent site visits. They worked quickly, professionally and inspired confidence. Asked great questions, solved tricky areas independently. Excellent communication during install. Clear bids, and price was as quoted.We got a lower bid but I know from experience that bid was not realistic or comprehensive. Sometimes it pays to go with the local pros.

Choosing new flooring was a great experience. Lots to choose from and quality products offered. David and Jeff were very helpful in choosing the right options for me and my budget. Eleanor Tsang: Highly recommend. They did an awesome job prepping and laying out LVP in our basement. I did a lot of research on all the big box brands, read reviews on brands and learned that, for the same cost/sq ft and durability, your local flooring store will have better quality brands, finishes and materials than the big box options. So happy we went with Seattle Style Flooring.

We had a major pet accident that one carpet cleaner didn’t even attempt to clean and said we’d need to replace it. I called Scott at Seattle Style to discuss replacement. He could have had an easy sell, but instead he refuted the claim by the carpet cleaner and told me about the merits of this carpet and why it is incredibly difficult to stain. He recommended a different cleaning business who came out and was able to get the carpet clean with no residual stains.Quality carpet, and honest and quality service.

After exploring our options, visiting many flooring stores, and reading reviews, we decided to use Dallas Watson Flooring. We had a mix of hardwood and carpet installed. We were totally impressed with the personable individuals, knowledge of product, and ease of communication with the sales representative, scheduling manager, and site supervisor. They were flexible and understanding of our needs and the constraints of an older home. We will use them for any future flooring.

Nancy Chin: I purchased two large area rugs from Driscoll. The two deliverymen were superb. They were so careful in making sure the rug was placed in the right locations. For example for one rug they carefully put the rug under a chandelier with proper spacing from the walls and a tansu chest and then placed the dining room table just right under the chandelier and aligned and centered with the tansu. They even asked if I wanted to vacuum the rug before they placed the furniture back on the rugs. The two men thought about everything and asked for my input on certain items and gave me options. They carefully made a number of adjustments for both rugs to that they looked perfect in a home where the floor spaces are not exactly square. Their thoughtfulness and dedication to doing a superb job are unmatched. Please thank them for me. We LOVE our new carpets. They have transformed the space making the atmosphere so inviting and warm. Thank you Leela for all your help in making our new home so welcoming.

Originally I had a friend suggest this shop to me and since my grandmother was in need of a new rug she came with me to check out what they had in stock. Going into the shop is an experience of its own. Gorgeous stacks of rugs piled a yard high, Beautiful mosaical rugs lining the walls. We looked through about 3 dozen rugs until we found 2 that we were interested in. Finally my grandmother settled on one that complimented her house perfectly. Erben delivered the rug to grandmothers house and let her live with it a couple days to get the feel and she decided it was the right one. Just a few days later I suggested my parents check out the gallery too and they also purchased a rug. Thanks Erben for the experience and I’ll definitely come here again in the future 10/10

Almost 10 years later, I have more good news to share about the wonderful experience of purchasing rugs from Turabi.We were recently updating our home and headed in a little bit more of a transitional/modern style vs. traditional. Turabi has a HUGE selection of contemporary rugs, and they even have the ability to assist in custom design and order if their vast floor selection doesn't have the perfect rug. They still have many traditional and antique rugs as well, and they have a great eye for bringing in current and classic colors.Once again I spent hours in the beautiful store in Pioneer Square while they painstakingly pulled out rugs, explained the country of origin and materials and processes used. They were also honest with me about durability and helped me understand maintenance and upkeep, which was important to me with kids and dogs. I was also encouraged to step on/walk on/ stand on the rugs barefoot to feel which were softer because we are a no-shoe house.Once we got it narrowed down, they brought a few to the house to see it in our space. We narrowed down further with their great counsel and then I was able to live with a couple of rugs in my space for a few days to see how it changed with the light, how it felt etc.The rug we loved the most was going to be too large and cover our fireplace hearth. But Turabi's team had no problem taking exact measurements, cutting a notch around the hearth, and putting a new edge on the rug. You would never know. It is stunning and we get compliments every time someone walks into our front door.Their exceptional service and high quality will always make me a repeat customer. I look forward to working with them again.

They came to our house within a few days to take all of the measurements, and when our rug was finished, came out the next day to install. It looks great, our installer did a great job and we’ll definitely use them again!

I wanted a local, small business and this was perfect. They were responsive to an initial e-mail inquiry and were helpful in choosing the right floor for my home. Luis came out for a very efficient measurement and their team started soon after. Liliana kept me updated on progress and coordinated for payment. The site was kept tidy and it was cleaned up well at the conclusion of the work. I am enjoying my new floors and have received many compliments on the difference it makes in the space.

Carrie Lehner: We had a contractor install LVD in our entire cottage and it was poorly installed because they didn’t level the floors as promised. When we called Liliana and Luis, the floor was buckling after just three weeks. Luis came out to assess what could be done and went over the options with us from least to most expensive and didn’t pressure us to spend more money. In fact, he suggested we start by seeing how much of the flooring they could salvage when they pulled it out. We ended up only needing to replace a fraction of the flooring, and they leveled the floors and reinstalled it in just a couple days. They were truly a treat to work with, and their installers Luis and Omar did a really nice job. They excel at communication thanks to Liliana! We highly recommend this business.

The old floor was glued and nailed and had to be chipped up, then scraped flat. The crew also had to work around a bed and desk still in the room, but soon had a beautiful floor down with everything cleaned up. Barry O'Connell: Emmanuel's is one of the very best shops for rug cleaning in the country. Not only do they do a great job and all the normal cleaning stuff but they do all the jobs that most people no longer do like blocking a rug which is the correct wrinkles or shape and color correction if there's a problem with a bleeding color. I would consider them one of the top five in the country and the best in the Pacific Northwest.
Alex Petrescu: Have been here multiple times to get rugs cleaned and it's always a great experience. Their ability to also fix small tears is great since you can get your rug cleaned and fixed at the same time.
