We've found some real gems for our kiddos at killer prices and also enjoy passing along the items our littles are done with and using our store credit to pick up new things for them. They also have a lot of great new items and are super knowledgeable about what kids are loving these days.

Alex Loddengaard: Our son started at Kiddie Academy when he was 1 years old and stayed for 10 months, when we moved to a different state. We LOVED Kiddie Academy. The teachers were all so sweet and caring. The staff were very accommodating, understanding, and communicative. We HIGHLY recommend Kiddie Academy! One of the saddest parts of moving states was leaving Kiddie Academy.

Simone Marticke: Kiddie Academy of QA is most caring with my child. It is a place with high standards for safety, a nurturing environment, and a high quality learning and activity program. I love the focus on emotional development. Staff are all very loving and clearly love their jobs. I love the in room cameras to check in on my child during the day. All meals are provided, even breakfast, which means I don't have to pack anything but a water bottle. Debbie, is a great and capable director in charge of this center. Can't say enough great things about this daycare. It is so much more than simply a daycare....
Ryan Burningham: Our 18-month-old is currently enrolled, and we’ve been very pleased. Teachers in particular are wonderful. Parking for drop off and pick up at peak hours can be a hassle because street parking is limited and there are only five parking spots in the lot, but parents handle it well and treat each other kindly.Edit: I’m not surprised to see that all negative reviews come from neighbors rather than from KA families. Completely understand why loud recess and standstill traffic would be frustrating for those next door.

They have wonderful education programs while also allowing for fun, and I love how they embrace and celebrate different cultures’ holidays and traditions. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and we have had the best experience – send your kids to Kiddie Academy and I’m sure you’ll agree!
David Wold: Exceptional care; dedicated teachers; strong curriculum; tirelessly working administrators. We are so fortunate to have been part of the KA QA community for nearly four years. Our kids leave prepared for their next level socially and academically, and as parents, we leave knowing it will be challenging to duplicate the level of care elsewhere. The open door policy is real, but was rarely needed because of the daily proactive communication by teachers and staff. Heroic doesn't begin to describe the work that was done to keep the school open and operating safely and effectively during the pandemic.

As soon as you step in, you're greeted with the loveliest flower shop, Marigold and Mint Botanicals, in the vestibule, and General Porpoise Doughnuts next door. Flowers, doughnuts, and a lifestyle store - it's a trifecta of perfection.What sets them apart is not only their warm customer service but also their thoughtful collection of under-the-radar, new, and established designers, each offering quality and timeless appeal. Additionally, the beautifully curated line of children's clothing, along with a charming mix of vintage toys, books, and other household wares, is a treat for the eyes. I dropped by last week, and Abigail made me feel so welcome, offering several great suggestions and ideas for a dress that ultimately led me to find one at their online store.Pro tip: I highly recommend joining their newsletter and following them on IG. They have outstanding, generous sales, and their shipping speed is truly remarkable. For instance, I ordered an item from their CA store on Saturday morning, and I received it before noon in Seattle on Monday – and with free shipping with a personalized note!

They have all sorts of random stuff nicely displayed, their products are quite unique and interesting, but overall it's a bit all over the place without a clear central theme. There are some clothes, home goods, books, kids' toys, etc, you'll have a fun time here if you simply enjoy wandering around in a beautiful boutique.

Prices bordered on the "probably more money than I'm comfortable with" level, but there were a couple of things I was ready to pay for, if I had any more planned luggage space.If you drop by, consider the cookbooks and the kids section to the side. It's apparent the owners thought carefully about the lifestyle products they wanted to carry and didn't just dropship everything like most boutiques do these days. There were a lot of delightful products to play with in your hands and books to thumb through curiously.

Jennie Ketcham: and her language skills have improved beyond what I think they would have in the previous care center because of Marianne and Brenda’s attention and intentional efforts. We get daily reports that look at their activities, meals, mood, etc. we get weekly summaries of their activities and pictures. Our daughter goes through three outfits a day because she is having so much fun exploring and learning and making a mess and being a kid.As a result of our daughter’s participation in Marianne’s circle time, our daughter’s prosocial behaviors shine forth. It’s obvious how much both of these teachers care about our little human.Marianne and Brenda feel as if they are a part of our parenting team. It feels good that we all have eyes on our daughter’s development. There is seriously nobody else I’d rather leave her with than these two wonderful teachers.
Rolando izquierdo: At Edugether they truly care about each child and they are invested in their development. Awesome potty training, consistent communication with parents and the activities are on a level that all kids learn something new every day.
Andrea Stubbs: and all her staff during the 2.5 years our daughter attended her program. Marianne and all the teachers were so patient and nurturing to our daughter from 18-54 month. We found the school to be an excellent balance of loving while fitting in an age-appropriate curriculum, regular connections on development, and lots of Montessori-like discovery. Marianne makes an effort to truly know each student and provide them the support they need to feel safe and thrive. So happy to see her launch as Ariva to keep delivering this essential care. We worked with her when she owned and ran Edugether.

Lyndsay Wilhelm: I can't speak more positively about Edugether and the programs they have for preschool age kids. My daughter has been recognizing some words for a while, but in the last few weeks she has begun to sound out and READ many words, including multisyllabic words at age 4! This morning she read aloud the word "box" and I realized we have been talking about it as we prepare for the letter of the week, "X". It's so cool to see direct impact like this from what they are teaching at school! She is picking up the Spanish letter sounds as well, even if she doesn't speak it regularly. He is now able to consistently say/interpret words in Spanish and we know this capability will only continue to grow. We're expecting twins later this year and are excited to enroll them here. Karina Yamin: I was reluctant from taking our baby daughter to a daycare because I considered nobody will take care of our daughter the way we do. However, time arrived and the decision of choosing a daycare arrived in August 2020. At that time, there were no many options, and now I appreciate that, because that let us to Edugether. I visited and took tours of many daycares, but once I started talking to Marianne, I knew that was the place I wanted our child to spend the day at, be taken care of and have her early education before kindergarten. 9 month later, I not only do not regret of my decision but i am truly happy that I followed my instincts. It's been a short but so rewarding journey and I am truly grateful for the edugether family to always think of the wellness of our children and to give the best education, values and support as they were given at home. Marianne and Yoan and their family are not just edugether owners but now very good friends of ours as well.

Sarah Whitley: Marianne is so observant and gives you a full report on how your child is doing. She will tell you what she notices and ask for your partnership to help correct or continue certain behaviors. She is a great person to have in your corner, especially if you are a new parent. The advice she gives is so valuable. It might have something to do with the fact that she has two children of her own , shes a psychologist and has a Child Development Associates! Not only can she give you a non- bias view into you sweet little ones mind, she has so much love to give and it shows everyday when I see how happy my son is! The class is smaller then most daycare's which is why I chose it! It makes it that much better for you child to get the hands on learning experience that they need. If you are looking for an amazing daycare that will love your child as their own and give them a world class education and teach them Spanish and English, look no further! This is the best one in all of Seattle!

Ingrid Vila: In September of 2019, we decided to transfer our baby from Bright Horizon west Seattle to Edugether. Almost a year will pass since then, and we cannot be more proud of our decision. Marianne is more than a teacher; she truly cares and loves our baby girl like any other family member. She contributes to the development of our baby, but also she's helping and advising us so that we can continue using her educational methods at home.Every activity in their daily routines has mindfulness behind, and you can see how our baby enjoys each one of them.Due to the Covid-19, our baby was gone for two months, and Marianne was always there to support us sending crafty tasks, potty training tips, songs, photos so that our baby doesn't forget about her school.In Edugether, we have found all the love and care that we were looking for in our baby's early education.Thanks Maestra y Familia.

Helen Hyun Chong: We have been so incredibly lucky to be a part of Bright Horizons. The teachers and staff show so much care, support, and love for the kiddos! My youngest daughter has been with the center since she was 2 years old and she will “graduate” to Kindergarten next year. I’m so sad to leave the center! I appreciate how communicative everyone is about what my daughter learns, eats, and all of her adventures. It’s a wonderful community and we are so grateful to have found Bright Horizons SLU.

The location is very convenient if you use express lanes and there are lots of drop off zones in front of the center. The aquarium could use a few more fish though.

Lauren Coleman: BH at SLU is an absolutely wonderful center! The administrative staff and the teachers are so caring and organized. It’s the best experience we’ve had at BH and we’ve been enrolled in four different centers over 5 years with 2 kids. Every person we’ve interacted with has been an absolute joy. The curriculum is fantastic- it focuses on social-emotional learning. My older child was the most prepared kindergartner in her class because of the BH curriculum. And they have the most wonderful kitchen - the meals are awesome! My two year old is now a veggie-lover. I can’t recommend SLU enough.
chandler bruning: I have two kids at Bright Horizons South Lake Union. The care has been exceptional! I love the communication from teachers and leadership, and everyone has been very responsive to any questions. As a parent, I know my children are safe and secure, and both love going to school daily. What more can a parent ask for?
Sharmishtaa Seshamani: Our daughter has been going to Bright Horizons SLU since she was in the infants class. She has really enjoyed her time there and sometimes doesn't want to come home ! The teachers are very friendly and supportive and have helped us work with her through her challenges. The admin staff is also very responsive. Overall a great center!
Kristina Alabastro: Such a convenient location and friendly staff. Great back up care program. My 4 year old enjoyed her time here.
