Meridian Playground: what do users think?

Jennifer MacLachlan: Playgrounds for older and younger kids side by side. Large grassy area where people were playing catch with dogs. Basketball hoops, walking paths. Bathrooms on site but they were closed for the winter when we were there.

Adam Willard: I just walked through this park. I did not use the playground. It looked fun. Honestly, it really looked like alot of fun, but I'm a grown person now. I have important obligations. But boy, did it look like fun..

Gladys Williams: I played and I prayed. The community is beautful. Kindness everywhere!

Happy Home Cleanin: I’ve lived in Seattle for over thirty years and just found this hidden gem! Beautiful park, enjoyed my visit and will be back!Playground: I love the design of the rock slides. They do need to be updated as the slide action is worn. You have to scoot your butt and legs to actually slide. Depends on the child and their love for playing outside, rain or shine.Restrooms: Small, typical, unattended park restroom. Nothing fancy, but when you gotta go it fits the bill.Dog-friendliness: Don’t think it’s an off leash park, but definitely good for a dog walk!

Nicolette Smith: We go here all the time. It's right down the street from my boyfriends place. Great atmosphere...lots of green space and a perfect park for the little guy.

Dang Gwed: Homeless guy wanted $30 cuz he cleaned the shelter but it’s a great place!!!!

Katharine Gunn: Great park toddlers, especially toddlers who love apple trees.

simon weiss: Lovely spot for picnic, kicking a ball, picking apple

Nick Wilcox: Good old rabbit Park barbecues and more

Munch Kin: , but the kids can be very... cliquish. She doesn't usually have any trouble making friends at the other playgrounds we go to, even with older kids, but this time she was moreso ignored or even teased than she was befriended. The fault doesn't lay in the park itself, but it should be known for families bringing a young child.

dima fedotov: , basketball hoops one short and one tall and a nice playground with lots of play equipment and great swings.

Byron Finister: It the getaway spot from a getaway. Low key and secludedPlayground: Small and tightyDog-friendliness: Dog's can be playful and within short reach of of but their ain't no fence to keep them inPicnic area: There are 2 different spots for a picnic. Very y small and intimate if that's what ur looking for

Serena Salentine LeFeber: Great little spot to stop and play in between things.

Larry Nakatsu: Great little park deep in the city. It's nice to have a couple of open spaces instead of more concrete and buildings. Named after a local, wonderful community member who was murdered and his case is still unsolved. May he rest in peace.

grandfrosty: Nice shelter, from above. It took me a couple of minutes of looking around to figure out what the sign meant ..."shelter". Very nice park, someone has left there sleeping bag and syringe under the"shelter", so if you have pets or kids or barefeet, be careful

P X: Small park with seating areas and climbing.

Seth springer: Solid park

Amy Ware: Very nice park clean and there was not a bunch of homeless people hanging out over there. I felt safe it was dark outside when I was there and my dog

Tech Nomad Tribe: Outside rather quite not many stay long place to zen r look at many passerbys

webcityusa (gary david): great

Chad B: Playground is OPEN!! Playground area re-opened Aug 11, 2023. Turf area used during construction will remain fenced off for re-seeding.

Bob G: Nice park but there is construction. Lots of dogs but all were well behaved.

Emily Graham: Nice open field for frisbee

Chris Tchou: , possibly to install new playground equipment. The green area is open but the playground and baseball diamond are closed.

Juan Hernandez: Went to watch my grandson's t-ball game. The park is nice and there are nice benches to sit on even though most people were sitting on the grass on the side of the outfield. The kids couldn't hit the ball very far and made it easy for the parents to sit there. I had a good time watching the kids try and hit the ball. The way they reacted when they hit the ball brought back memories of my son when he played. We laughed when the game was over and had a nice chat with the kids. The playground was busy even after we left. A nice small park on a nice sunny day. I am sure I will be watching more games there in the near future.

Ashley Thomas: Currently closed for renovations

Jerry Yoon: Good place for kids. Grass needs to be cut more often

Ercolini Park: what do users think?

Katie Gillum: Neighborhood and destination spot bc of the menagerie of mostly functional home toy donations. Locals mutinied when Parks and Rec tried to clear out all toys. Small, no dogs, no bathrooms, fun for 1-9 or 10. Parents who hang are pretty chill and nice.Playground: Standard: different levels of ability, bit of ropes, swings, merry-go-round, sand pit. The real joy is combining the toys with the playground fun.Restrooms: There aren't any

al leclerc: Nice park with playground equipment. Lots of different toys left out to share or take home! No washroom facilities.

Lledó Esquerra Ortells: Can’t believe a place like this exists!

Mark Richard: A beautiful little playground for children. It appears people drop off toys not used by their Children anymore. It is a great idea. There are slides and swings, and jungle gyms. Lots of all wheeled toys. When we were there I observed about 10 different families having a wonderful time. All ages of small children were there. There are lots of benches and a couple of picnic style tables.unfortunatly there is only one bench in the shade. It was a nice, hot, sunny day so more shade would have been appreciated.Overall though I would say this spot is a winner.Unfortunately there is no restroom.

Haleh Nekoorad Long: Fun little park if you have little kids with bunch of plastic toys and a playground. No restrooms.

Alexis Moy: I call this place baby crack park because of all the toys left behind. It's amazing! Not much shade and no bathrooms but it's still fun!

Australia Tobon: Lots of green space to run and play. Park located in a residential area which is a plus! Lots of used and broken toys. Thankfully there is a sidewalk entire the park for a nice stroll with little one and some trees provided shade during a very hot weekend. No restrooms so hold your bladder! Playground in good shape but lots of garbage. Only two park picnic tables and few park benches.

Brian Connolly: A great park to take the kiddo. She enjoyed trying out all of the random scooters, which look donated from families that outgrew them.Playground: Swings, slides for older toddlers on up. Many scooters/play cars.Picnic area: A couple tables

Rachel Lewis: For my wheels obsessed toddler this place is a gold mine. They also have a nice playground toy aimed at bigger kids. Yeah some toys aren't in great shape but well worth a trip anyways!

Jenessa Loche: Love this place, there are so many random toys available for the kiddos and they really appreciate the jungle gym

rubin lerer: Nice park for kids

Sthefany Hernandez Lizcano: Come it's an amazing park for toddlers and big kids. There are a lot of shade which is great for kids. You can also play basketball there. It's perfect.

Anna Lima: Only available when school isn’t in session, and great overall. No swings though there are basketball hoops.

Drew Swalling: My little boy loves this place. Basketball courts and a small playground. Plenty of room to ride his scooter. Pretty popular around the area. It is on school property, so no pets allowed. You do see an occasional dog though. 4 stars because I dislike wood chips as playground matting.

West Woodland Park Playground: what do users think?

Iris Zeng: My 1 and 21-month-old son enjoys playing at this playground. He runs around and never wants to leave. The playground has three different play areas suitable for kids of different ages. Additionally, there is a lawn where kids can practice soccer or baseball. What I love the most about this playground is the serene environment surrounded by tall trees.

Phil Lee: Nice spot to take the kids after walking at the zoo in case there’s any left over energy. Also good as a neighborhood park to take the kids.

Patricia Graf: It was rainy and wet but lots of families were there because the zoo had a power outage.

Justin Waters: Climbing-focused playground for early elementary students and older toddlers. Proximity to zoo provides a good end-of-day, familiar experience after a zoo visit. Plenty of parking available in the zoo overflow lot. Good playground for an informal kids party.

Véronique Maucor: Very well located, solid and well-maintained games, in the greenery near the zoo. I recommend this place.

Betty Campos: Ideal for children to have a lot of fun

Jen Hoglund: Great park, especially for toddlers.

Марія Горяєва: most of the days we visited that park, it looked too crowded, but there was always a parking lot

Maleaha Menifee: This is a nice playground right outside the zoo. My daughter enjoyed it!

Kitty Cox: On vacation need a place for granddaughter to play and let out some energy it is so cool so much stuff to do you need a whole day for this place

Roxanna M: Love this park! Only wish it had restrooms. Great climbing structure, as well as playground equipment. Swings, slides, a few picnic tables, and a nice open green space. Parking is along Phinney or in the neighborhood to the north, unless you want to pay to park in the adjacent zoo lot.

Roy Sher: nice park near the zoo with some climbing structures and swings. swings are nice and high and smooth with plenty of wood mulchthe rope climbing structure is pretty nice and well built able to support weight of even adults on it helping kidsthere is a slide for younger kids and one slightly bigger for probably grade schoolthere is parking along the street to the side of the park for free vs. the zoo lot for $6 or so

Toni Lyons: Love this park! Have been taking granddaughters there for 9 years and usually find a new friend or master a new skill . Good shade available.

Danita Day: Nice playground near west entrance if zoo. Plenty of shady spots.

Seattle Children's PlayGarden: what do users think?

Kha Tran: great for toddlers

Dustin Craun: One of our favorite playgrounds in Seattle very unique spaces for kids to explore. We came for open play one Friday and we were disappointed that there wasn’t much difference just the water was on for the kids to play with. You must explore the full park with the kids including the hidden slides, hidden bunnies area and the pirate ship.

Ami Hansen: The best park ever! There are minimal exits and so for those who's kids elope it is a dream come true! We also love that we get to hang out with other families that are like us.

Sean Gilliam: Great park with unconventional, but very functional toys for kids. There is a garden in the middle, a pen with chickens and ducks, basketball court, and all sorts of different stuff. Kids and adults will have fun.

Bradley Kocher: What an extraordinarily special place! A true sensory garden thoughtfully designed to appease every sense. The staff for camps and preschool go above and beyond to provide an inclusive and accessible experience for everyone. Open to the public when camp and school are not in session.

Yade Cai: Great park for the kids. They can run around freely all fenced off and this location is normally not busy and plenty of street parking.

Jules Hetland: Wonderful wonderland full of interactive play.

Dvir A: A magical outdoor place for children to explore and discover

Mickey Alderman: Open playground with 3 hoop basketball court located in a nice neighborhood with a park area for kids. It's nice with limited wheelchair accessible parking.

T.T. Minor Playground: what do users think?

Osh Morethstorm: Chill and dry at the umbrella roof over concrete benches during rain. Very nice. I’ll go back definitely.

liora Zandel: We walked with Mia. Air conditioning was good and everything around looked good

Dietrich Starkmann: Nice playground on hilltop. Not to be used by public during regular school hours.Playground has nice variety of play options, i.e. sand boxes, climbing options and slides. Swings would be nice, too. I've been there with my kid on a sunny and warm day and it was hot up there. Shade only exists on sides of area, but not on playground itself. Better be sure to bring enough drinks to keep your child and yourself sufficiently hydrated and I'd also recommend to make use of a hat there.Caution is advised regarding dogs. Actually dogs are not allowed on the play areas, but I've noticed that most, but not all dog owners act accordingly.

Esthermarie Miramontes: Clean park with swings, slides, sandpit etc. for small children.

EJ CH: I sat on one of the benches here with my dear stepfather, probably the best person I know, talking and laughing and watching the dogs play. In a world that seems to always necessitate purpose and destination and hustle, it's nice to be able to take a moment here and just appreciate life. It's a great Park and I'm glad the dogs can run free too.

Khurmatulla Rakhmetov: Nice place to take rest and release dogs to run.If you have kids up to 8-10 they can play at yard.Parents can watch them sitting at shady benches.

Kari Caywood (Kaycee): I was surprised it was open until 11:30. It’s awesome once the school is closed. I’ve met a variety of pet owners there, and there is at least that one common bound- our dogs. It’s pretty much off leash after 5, but we ended up going one time at 9 because I’ve got an Australian Shepard that has to run cyborg style. It’s in a decent neighborhood, pretty well lit and taken care of. There’s a basketball half court that I use to hit tennis balls against the wall for my dog. The only thing is the big potholes in the field. You could break an ankle if you’re not watching! I bring that up because my Charley got thrown off while darting across the field and I was worried her little legs would sprain, or worse, rip a tendon. It’s one of our favorites! Oh, it’s a bit dusty on the field but, hey, just dress appropriately!

TERRYLYNN “SCORPIOVENOM” JONES: Good at night

Jason Tangeman: Nice

Mohamed Rago: Good

Emilia: Nice playground

Alan Michael: It's a nice small park. You can walk your dog around the fields and play structures for kids. The baseball field is for little leagues and the soccer field/grass play field are kept up fairly good. The play structure is about 2 years old and has fun times for younger kids. A small area to shoot hoops and swings. There's also a drinking fountain and bathrooms on the property. If you need a snack head to Noah's store, only a block away.

Chase Croft: Lived block away for 12years this month and the graffiti on unknown artists "knight" had been running for 10yrs maybe? Anyhow I fixed the moon and couple I had close colors... your welcome and stop Towing my van as it runs and used for art and music transportation. I don't have money to keep paying tow company. Myriam M: Recently renovated play area. Great place for a park birthday, lots of field space! Baseball field, soccer field, acting crazy field.

Stephen Fast: An essential part of the neighborhood

"Artists At Play" Playground: what do users think?

Laura Pugh: The main structure is really fun, once kids are confident and skilled enough to climb the enclosed rope ladder. There's a second way to to the slides on the web, but it is exposed and needs more skill. My toddler is happy enough on the lower parts of the climber, and uses the under five slide, too. I appreciate the labyrinth most of all. It's the perfect spot to appreciate the art and music and to be present in the moment. If you ride the monorail into Seattle Center, this playground is on full display. We use it as our first stop with kids so it's easier to pull them away to other activities. It's tricky to get your kid to leave though!

Christopher Beegle: A simple yet well-rounded playground.

Timothy Williams: The Artists at Play playground is really cool and in a great location by the monorail. Not a lot of natural grass, but more than enough stuff to do. The area is big enough and there are food and snack options nearby. It can get crowded and it can get hot in the summer.

Roselin vale: Super fun, it has a large climber, the children climb and play non-stop.

Adele Soriano: This was an excellent way to let the kids burn off some energy during our trip. I was right at the end of the monrail near the Space Needle and Pop Culture Museum. A short walk from the Science and Children's Museum.Add at least 30 minutes to your schedule if you are coming with kids. They will want to stay all day.

Katie K: Unique playground. Small toddler area but large climbing area for older kids

Brian Capell: The kind of playground that makes you wish they had when you were a kid.

Leah Robinson: The climbing structure is perfect for kids that love to climb and don’t mind heights. A few little ones had to be rescued by their parents at the top, so recommend this for 5+ unless you’re comfortable accompanying your kiddo to the top and down one of the slides. It was super crowded but the kids all did a great job navigating each other. There are only two ways up, so it requires some patience. I would recommend this in between museum or space needle tours.

Andy: The merry go round is the perfect spot for bad decisions if you have a friend who’s willing to spin you, just make sure you have good health insurance, strong arms, and a solid helmet. This is an adult sized playground— if there aren’t any kids, there’s no shame in climbing this thing.

Lauren Doyle (LaurenEDoyle): What an incredible gift this playground is! Our little one had an amazing time climbing the spider web and exploring the pipe xylophone. Anytime a threenager is enthralled with anything for long than 15 minutes, it's a win... So the fact that we spent almost two hours here is a testament to how much we loved it.

Josue Gomez: Very nice, clean and safe

Kim Looney: We had a wonderful time! We went at night so we could enjoy the lights. Lots to see and eat. Highly recommend going! We purchased a season pass so we could go whenever we want.

Anna van Wesep: Beautiful space with a play structure that has multiple slides. There are also swings here and a cool ship sculpture. There are plenty of parking spots as it’s right next to the community center.
