Vincenzo Prestera: This is a great example on how to recover dismissed area and convert it to green space in which you can practice sport, relax and enjoy free-time with your furry friends or your family. Entrance is free. If you are in Seattle I suggest to visit in sunny days. I would have appreciated to find more benches to relax on and restrooms.
Jared Yost: Wowzers! I was simply blown away with the view of Seattle and the space needle across the water. I got to walk around the park and climb the hill to see a beautiful view... holy cow. I also liked all the structures in the park to look at and the benches to sit on. I LOVE THIS PARK :DGreat place to have a picnic or play some bocce ball.

Eddie Tseng: Friendly state park. It’s a state park so it needs Discovery Pass, you can buy the pass there. It’s $10 for a single day and $30 for annual usage. All the trails are super friendly in my opinion. Short and shaded.

Josh DP: Within this park is the conservatory, Water Tower, restrooms, a playground, tennis courts, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum! There are lots of events throughout the year, especially in the summer. There are plenty of walking paths and places to sit down on the grass or on benches.

David Dawes: Great mountain & city views, well loved park with neighbors walking dogs, kite flying & a playground.Playground: A few baby swings + larger swings, sand play area, a couple little bikes, slides & spinning toys. Not too crowded on weekday afternoons.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of people out walking dogs.

Capri Jensen: Great place to take the littles bike riding, walk the dog, and get some energy out. There's a big open space at the top with a circular loop for running, biking, and walking. There's also a playground down below, as well as sports fields. You'll often find kids camps in the evenings and Summers as well.

Victoria E: It's a great place to go to take a walk and run your dogs and / or kids. It seemed like it took years for the maple leaf community to get the old reservoir by covering it with dirt and grass to create this wonderful park. Back in the day, this area was an open water reservoir that was fenced off, and the community was told to stay out. Over the years, they covered the water and made this a lovely area to enjoy te city life. The water towers are still there. Now they have wonderful pickle ball courts and awesome views of downtown Seattle, Bellevue, and Mt Rainer!! It's a great place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. You can see Lake Union and Bellevue at the same time!!Playground: Nice play area with a zip line and swings!Restrooms: The restrooms are open all year round, and the water fountain works when it freezes out.Dog-friendliness: Great big field to run your pup!Picnic area: An awesome covered picnic tables area that has power pugs in the shelter so you can have power to entertain during your picnic party!
brent ciesliga: I love this playground for my kids. Good variety of play structures, and nearby walking paths make this park an all age destination.
Del Ivanov: There is a children's playground on the south end of the park.Playground: Great place to let the kids run around. Has a samd pit and swings.Restrooms: The rest rooms are closed in winter.Dog-friendliness: People bring their dogs too. I always encounter friendly dogs here.
