The table was exquisite, complete with silver service, china & towers for the food. The food and service were amazing. The ladies who attended could not stop talking about it all weekend. Joseph Garriott: One of the last bastions of local, small business in Seattle, Foodz Catering supplies an artisan experience for any using their catering service. Staff are friendly and personable and go above and beyond to provide the experience you’re looking for. Food is excellent and far exceeds what’s typical of larger companies. 10 out of 10 times I would pick Foodz for my catered event.
Eliza Yoon: Foodz was amazing. Shelby, the owner of Foodz, really knows what she is doing. My now husband & I were so worried about a white person designing and planning our Korean-inspired menu, and Shelby really went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone loved the food at our wedding, it was unique, and people even left the dance floor to wait in line for dessert! Monea, the coordinator for Foodz, held my hand throughout the entire year of planning, and was honestly one of the most down-to-earth people I've ever worked with. We did this in the midst of the pandemic when there were so many rules regarding wedding that we needed to abide by. They did an amazing job! Everyone was raving about the food and the bar service. From the start, working with their team was easy -- they were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The day of the wedding they showed up on time and immediately “hit the ground running.” Their lead, Darby, took charge of the on-site team in a calm, relaxed and confident manner.They started with passed appetizers that were delish, and elegantly served. The remainder of the food was also delicious and served flawlessly. All the leftovers were stored in neat little containers, each of which was hand labelled. And, after they left the kitchen and surrounding areas were cleaner than when they arrived! Working with Darby and her team was a pleasure and we are happy to have hired Foodz Catering!
321 Foto Photo Booths: Foodz catering has such an incredible range of cuisine that they do so well. We have been fortunate enough to work with them for years, and while they have always been top notch, we have seen them elevate their menu to a whole new level. Particularly impressed with their vegan options! Being a carnivore, I'm not quick to select them, but if their mushroom wellington is on the menu, you have got to try it! Wonderful customer relationships, a trusted partner in our industry. Shelby is simply amazing!

Leah Becker: Seasoned in Seattle Catering literally made our wedding day 10x easier. Our coordinator was in touch as much as we needed up until the big day and was so kind and informative when answering all of our questions and making changes to our menu. We used an altered version of their "Oktoberfest" menu for our German-themed wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was also fancier than we expected, which made our wedding feel even more classy and important. We also used their bar service package and the bartender was friendly, responsible, and made all of the guests feel very well taken care of. The cleanup was done within half an hour thanks to their amazing staff. We will definitely book Seasoned in Seattle Catering again for our next big event!

I got a bunch of compliments from our 65 attendees, especially people with dietary restrictions who are used to being given just a garden salad and instead had satisfying choices!

The food was DELICIOUS, and beautifully presented in individual containers, much nicer than any boxed lunch I've seen - in fact, Gourmondo made Covid-safe look elegant. They even created specially mixed and labeled cocktails, served in individual bottles to commemorate the person of honor - and they were REAL cocktails, not the tame variety! The staff were attentive and understated, and consulted with the hosts during the event to meet their expectations. As a guest of the event I cannot speak to the cost or pre-event planning, but I would definitely contact Gourmondo if I were in need of a catering/event service.

They also handled abrupt COVID-related changes to our wedding seamlessly and made us feel supported every step of the way. Every staff member working that day was professional, caring, and wonderful. Most importantly, the food on our wedding day, was delicious, beautiful, and loved by all of our guests. Our salad was a piece of art that BJ decorated with edible flowers from his own garden. Allie Goodman: We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue!! The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to do it. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails it with their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Food was super important to us and they delivered. I highly recommend both The Foundry and Herban Feast!

BJ and his crew had great communication the week of my wedding and on the day of it was like meeting an old friend, instantly putting me at ease. I would choose Herban Feast again for my next event. Judy Temes: We can't thank BJ and the Herban Feast crew enough for everything they did to make our daughter's dream wedding come true, making it the most beautiful event imaginable. But first, a story. First there was Covid, which necessitated a smaller event than planned. Then came the fires in eastern Washington, where we planned to host about 100 people. With three weeks to go before the big day, all our plans had to be changed and moved to Seattle. BJ came to the rescue, finding us the most amazing venue -- Amor & Paz on Vashon Island. All our guests agreed that we could not have found a more gorgeous setting had we started planning three years before! And BJ secured this beautiful garden wedding just three weeks before our guests were to arrive. Beyond this, BJ worked with our daughter whose wish was to have her friends camp out. He made this dream come true as well. On top of this, he worked with us to help us fit the whole thing into our budget. On the day of the event, the crew was diligent, professional, and super nice! The food was over the top delicious. Every guest said this was honestly the best, most beautiful wedding they've attended. BJ, Lisa and everyone, you are the best and we owe you a huge debt of gratitude for making our daughter's dream wedding happen.

Megan Boone: We cannot recommend Pyramid catering enough after having them cater our wedding. First Pedro was fantastic to work with. He is so quick to respond, thorough, and was great at making recommendations when we weren't sure what we wanted. He was one of our favorite vendors to communicate with out of everyone for our wedding. We were also so happy with the food. We had a buffet dinner for 200 people and they did a great job of getting everyone through the buffet quickly. And not only did we think the food tasted great, but had multiple guests tell us how fantastic the food was. We also had a decent amount of people with food restrictions and they were able to help us create a menu that accommodated most people and they made a special plate for one guest who had many food restrictions. And last, their bar service was amazing. We provided the alcohol and their bartenders mixed 2 cocktails for us and served beer and wine. We received so many compliments about the bartenders. We highly recommend Pyramid catering and are very grateful they were there for our wedding.
Allison Fine: Pyramid did an amazing job with our wedding from start to finish. Our main point of contact, Pedro, was very professional, communicative, and easy to work with at every step of the planning process. He helped to keep us on top of deadlines as our special day got closer. Pyramid was flexible with special dietary requests. Pedro worked closely with us to cultivate a menu that felt meaningful for our occasion, and he and Chef Catherine coordinated the making of Jewish latkes and Danish abelskivers for our wedding appetizers. During our event, the servers were polite and attentive, making sure each of our guests had a wonderful time and had what they needed. And, the food was delicious, as were our fall themed signature cocktails! We would highly recommend Pedro and his team for any wedding or special event in need of catering services. As an aside, I run a nonprofit and have also used Pyramid for two different events, and they've been wonderful to work with there as well.
Jacob Francis: .The Pyramid team was also so very accomodating to our venue, given it was an outdoor venue nearly 2 hours away. Of course we were happy to pay the fair travel fee, but most other caterers flat out refuse to drive even an hour. They brought their own portable kitchen equipment since there were no good options on site. They made it extremely easy for us to enjoy our day while helping to make it even more memorable for us and our guests!
Juan Valera: Pyramid made our wedding amazing; they were super straightforward to work with and very communicative, we didn't feel out of the loop even once. They were consistently helpful, even as we changed our minds about food, drinks, and guest count multiple times.
Alex Peterson: Pyramid Catering was great to work with, very professional, and the food was amazing and fairly priced! They even created a special vegan menu with new main course options just for us because we asked about vegan options. They were very communicative and attentive to our questions during the booking process, and the staff for our wedding itself were very friendly and clearly interested in making the day as special as possible. We settled on Pyramid after taking price and elegance into the highest consideration, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, classy wedding catering at the best prices in the Seattle area! My only "complaint" was that Pyramid Catering seems to be very busy during the summer months and it was somewhat tricky getting in contact with them to confirm the final menu for the 2 months before our August wedding until the wedding was only a few weeks away. This made the timeline of getting our guests' orders pretty tight and more rushed than I would have hoped. However, I imagine this is the nature of in-demand catering companies during peak season. Overall, we were very happy with our decision to chose Pyramid.

You do pay but it was SO worth it. It was a whole spread and the food was amazing. We had plenty to take home! You get a chance to review colors, silverware and everything at that tasting. Something no other place offered until we signed with them. So this was a huge green flag for us! The day of - incredible. The staff was AMAZING. All of them. I took time to go to the back of the venue after the evening to thank them all at once. They deserve it so much. And the food. Get out of here. People are still calling to ask us how they can get more of that Lobster sauce. We wanted fun food. So we had a mac n cheese bar and a potato bar and everyone has said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We want to have a party every year just so we can have the food! They even recommended we bring containers so we could take the extra food at the end of the night, which I absolutely loved because I hate wasting food and then we got to have so much leftovers that people enjoyed all week. Christy Siuda: They catered our wedding this past October and were AMAZING. the catering team walked over driftwood and in sand to bring my husband and I appetizers while we were taking photos. Michele LaBare: On Safari delivered an unforgettable culinary experience for our event this week. Several of our guests commented on how delicious all the appetizers were. They set up a beautiful presentation for the appetizers I ordered. The desserts are amazing! I had to try one of everything to ensure they tasted yummy…and they did not disappoint!The catering staff anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Kimberly expertly attended the open bar, and Tony was on top of the food and cleanliness of the general area as people wandered about. They made our guests feel very special and warmly welcomed people as they entered our event area. Abby Gorman: Michelle makes it so easy. I tell her the type of event and number of people and she puts the menu together. The last event she was spot on the first time and I didn't need to request any revisions! I love the compostable plates they provide; they are sustainable but also feel like an elegant design choice.
Lauren Halsey: Amazing catering option! The chicken is seriously the BEST catering chicken I've ever had. I worked with them for a company holiday party, and everyone raved about the food. Definitely recommend!

I worked with them recently for a wedding and everything was outstanding. Stayce handled all of the lead-up planning and is always a joy to work with while also making sure every base is covered and my couples are taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Wendy lead the charge and knocked it out of the park. On top of all of that, the food was just DELICIOUS. From the apps, to dinner, to dessert- every single thing was good. After contacting Ben and tasting Duos' food at a local event, we realized we had found our caterer! As the wedding date got closer, Ben was quick to answer any questions and made the whole process run smoothly. On the day of the wedding, Duos staff was amazing in setting up and serving for 125 guests. The food was so delicious, especially the Mac and Cheese! Our guests could not say enough about the food and how much they loved it all! From the appetizers right down to the potato bar, Duos exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

TWTH Northwest: Special Occasions Catering provided 2 entrees and a side dish for a recent church event and the reviews were great! Their mushroom sherry chicken is spectacular. Their communication throughout the process was great and I highly recommend them.

From the beginning Brian knew exactly what would work best. He came out and did a site visit and walked me through where things should be. He came up with an incredible menu and was so communicative throughout the process.That was the lead up. The event was even better. They came early to drop off ice and then were back exactly on time. Cosmo, the lead was the nicest guy as was the other gentleman. Brian knew exactly where to best set up the grills for the onsite cedar planked salmon and just took care of everything so I could focus on the party and my guests. The food, especially the salmon, was unreal. As people were leaving the party nearly everyone commented on how incredible the food was. Some people even went back for THIRDS! Brian was not joking when he said he comes, "loaded for bear" as there was leftovers for our family the next day.I highly recommend them! So professional, so kind, timely, and delicious food.

The food was amazing & Brian was attentive to many details that I would have overlooked regarding linens, serving dishes, utensils etc. The Special Occasions staff was so friendly & accommodating!We have gotten so many comments from friends & family about how delicious the food was!!I’m so thankful we found Brian & his team! They helped make our day perfect!

Margaret Drinkwater: Everyone that works for Special Occasions has been so accommodating. They worked with our budget and made a great meal plan. The tasting was relaxed and fun. They have gone above and beyond to answer all our questions and adjust to the ever-increasing guest list. Really great people work here and make really delicious food. In addition to the food, they are coordinating the beverage service and linens as part of their service which takes two more things off my plate. Their servers are all licensed to serve alcohol so if the bar needs help they can step in. I am so glad this company was recommended by our venue. I have no doubt our food and service will be great.
