We had a few minor follow up issues and they promptly followed up with us and took care of the issues.The designer listened to us and really designed a design that we were satisfied with and that met our needs. We are very happy with the end result. I will say, they are not cheap, but they provide an awesome and well built product. I highly recommend California Closets.

Nick Totin: Oh. My. Gosh. You must go in this store. Have a look 'round. Buy the cutest thing you see. I saw a water pitcher with a snake wrapped around it and I thought about it for two days. I walked an hour back just to buy it. Everything is beautiful here and the staff is perfect. You can buy so many cute things and put them all in your home. Which is what you deserve.

Holly: Retrofit Home, a unique store located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Retrofit Home is more than just a furniture store; it’s a mini-department store with a sophisticated, fun, and edgy aesthetic. If you’re in the Capitol Hill area, be sure to check it out! In addition to furniture, you’ll find home goods, kitchen essentials, and unique gift items. The every day books were my favorite collection to browse through. Quirky and funky, Retrofit Home sells lots of items you won’t find anywhere else. While their products aren’t cheap, the quality and uniqueness make up for it. Even their sale items can be fairly expensive, but they’re worth it if you want something special. I told the employee I loved their store and the vibe was so inviting and if I had more time I’d probably buy a lot more! So, if you’re on the hunt for distinctive furniture, home decor, or delightful gifts, consider paying Retrofit Home a visit. It’s a gem in Capitol Hill!

Sara: We've purchased 3 items at Room & Board, one of which was for our daughter because we liked our Deco Sleep Sofa so much. Service was very good particularly for the Deco that required some set up. They do charge for delivery but really worth it because it's very personalized and the delivery personnel really know the products. Room & Board is one of the few retailers that when you complete a survey, you know they read it. For the most recent coffee table purchase I had a question and a comment. I received a response just a day later. While not expected they went above and beyond in response and action. I would whole heartedly and confidently purchase at Room & Board again.

He quickly sent out a specialist to do repairs, but we decided that it needed replaced. He was so cooperative with us through this process and even offered to have it picked up since we don't have transport for the table. We look forward to having Tirto as a resource for quality service and furniture in the future!

Michelly Calzadilla: Cool furniture store that's a lot larger than expected, but pretty far out of the way. Almost everything is wood with neat designs and decent quality. There were a few things we saw, but quite a bit was proportioned for a house moreso than apartment living. Prices were in-line with what you'd expect given the quality and designs. I would have appreciated more variety in colors and materials. I recommend checking it out.

I call them, they set up a meeting to come and measure. They design and set up an installation date. It’s not cheap but it’s done well and it’s worth it having it be a seamless process and getting organized.

JB Fuoco: I decided to work with Closets by Design after I got a mailer and scheduled a consultation. Riot came out to do my measurements and worked with me to ensure I got what was right for the space I needed. My loft had no closets at all and she was able to design a system that fit the space and looks like it was there all along. I couldn't afford the whole system so it was designed in such a way that it was functional for now and expandable for later.Julian did the install and it looks amazing. Great value, great service. All in all, a 5 of 5 stars.
Brian Scully: Our experience with Closets by Design was good overall. The good: The closets look great. The installer was careful and it was evident he cared about the workmanship. The Not so great: The initial and secondary discussions with the designer were confusing at times, and one tiny change was an up charge. It was infuriating to be told one thing and then to be told no. The closets are expensive. Even with all the discounts it was really really expensive.

It's very stylish, very comfortable and you can feel how well made it is and how high quality the leather and other materials are. I would definitely buy from them again and feel very comfortable recommending them to friends and family.

I've been working with DWR's customer service team for some time now trying to locate a replacement part for my generation of the chair. It's been quite the quest, indeed.Here to express my appreciation for a service team that is supporting the maintenance of a product that they didn't process themselves. It's left a very positive impression on me as a customer that they've been willing to help with this oddball case. R Kaur: The store has a very personalised no nonsense customer service style which I appreciated, letting you walk through the store- the design associate would come over to help you out every few minutes, in case you have questions. After we shortlisted a few products Renee sat down with us and helped us with the shipping timelines before we ordered, along with recommendations for other pieces which we decided to think over before purchasing. Since these are high value purchases having someone work with us was wonderful. I highly recommend coming into the store rather than ordering online esp. to have a look at the visual merchandising to identify your particular style and inspiration for how you may want to set up your home.
David Frederick: and decided to stop by DWR. I ended up purchasing a dinning table and chairs. After some issues with the table, two replacements later, I now have a story to share of what excellent customer service is all about. Echo Pickrell: dream garage did a great job to install cabinets , slac walls and shelves to my garage. from start to finish they came in five times. The first two were consultation and refining the design. The third visit was to install 99% of the job. one drawer was missing so they came back the fourth time plus all the slap wall accessories I ordered. one drawer was very sticky so they sent a more experienced technician who came back in the fifth trip to get it right. I feel they're very committed to keep their customer Happy and make sure everything is perfect. Their slap wall accessories are true snap on and much better quality than what you can buy on the biggest worlds e-commerce at about similar price. Scott and Danielle were our main contacts and they are nice and responsive people.

Some of my neighbors had worked with them, so I was interested in seeing if they would be a good option for my needs.I was able to make an appointment easily for a free consultation with the owner, Scott, who walked me through what was possible with my garage space based on my needs. The following day I had a proposal in my inbox that seemed very reasonable, and they even had availability to do the installation the following week.Zack, Brad, and Ian arrived on time for the installation and were very helpful when I had a lot of questions. They did a great job with the install and even put my tires up on the tire rack for me!From start to finish, it was a great experience, and I am so happy with my garage storage solution. I have ample overhead racks for long-term storage, lots of shelving, a wall for organizing yard tools, and a slat wall for storing and organizing accessories like screwdrivers and smaller yard tools.
Ryan McDonald: Our experience with Dream garage was really positive. It was very touch and go on our part because of the industry both me and my wife work in. Dream Garage was great and very patient when it came to timeline and any design questions we had. When it came to install day they noticed that the studs in my wall would not work with our previously agreed upon design, so they quickly got my attention and offered me solutions to still achieve a space for storage but with a minor pivot. Danielle was absolutely amazing when it came to communication back and forth as we had questions during the install process and the payment. Shortly after, the project was done, my wife and I noticed that we wanted to do even more cabinets and overhead storage so we called the team back up and are back on the books for two weeks from now to add even more to our garage!During the install process we did notice that some outlets were accidentally covered and one of the cabinets were cracked, when we spoke to the owner he was very apologetic and was more than happy to fix those issues to our satisfaction.

Logan Seelye: in the area we were doing a nice shelf unit for above-head storage. I got a phone call from the owner, Scott, who explained what was going on and how they would proceed and fix the situation. It is good to know the owner truly cares for his customers and can pivot and have his installers fix things as need. We unfortunately ran into another issue with the cabinets being installed too high, with one of the tall cabinet doors not being able to fully open, as it would hit our garage door track. The two installers, Cory and Ian, took the time to explain what happened, and what they could do to fix it, even so much as completely reinstalling it to be lower that day. We decided to have a custom sized door ordered to allow it to open and not hit the garage track, but after thinking about that option a few days, we decided to reach back out to Dream Garage and ask them to instead just come back out and move the whole install down about 3 1/2" to fit perfectly. Of course, they had no issue and arrived the following week to do just that. We also had them do an additional slat wall on the left of the cabinets so we could have a truly wall-to-wall organizational structure. Things came out superbly and we couldn't have had a better experience.I highly recommend Dream Garage to anyone looking to get that perfect garage solution!

Julio Diaz: I had a very positive experience with the Dream Garage team. My garage was unfinished so I wanted to have the floor coated and install some storage. I contacted Dream Garage and they came to my home for a free consultation where I explained what I wanted. Couple of days later they sent the proposal with a quote and a 3D model which looked really good. Together we tuned up the proposal until we reached the final design. They completed the entire garage in just 3 days and the result was amazing. I do recommend them 100%.

Robin Harrison: We had originally ordered a similar sofa from Apt2B, which is a national major chain, and with a promise of 4-8 weeks delivery time, and no couch after 5 months with no real delivery date in site, we got our money back from Apt2B and headed to Modern Design Sofas here locally in the Central District.BOY, are we happy we did! Service was absolutely fantastic, it was so nice to get to feel them out in person, and the delivery time was VERY reasonable and our sofa is LUXURIOUS. It's my dream couch and all our friends are obsessed.10/10 would recommend them for your sofa-purchasing needs.

Josh was great to work with and was patient with me as I took about 3 weeks to mull over some decisions about the size of the sectional and the fabric choice. There was never any pressure whatsoever. He was very helpful in letting me know things to consider when I was deciding on a fabric and gave me several samples to take home to consider. He was also key to me picking out the correct color for the legs that would go best. In addition to the great service, MDS has a very smart and sharp array of designs and styles. I shopped around at several other stores I would always typically go to in years past but I kept coming back to MDS.

Bruce Meyers: Very unassuming store that is jammed full with sofa's & chairs. At first, I thought that most of the designs and colors were not right for my son & his wife. However, two sectionals caught our attention. One had a desireable contemporary design with nice fabric. The second one had a better design and the sofa was about 10 inches wider than the other one. However, the fabric was all wrong. Josh was so helpful when we told him what we were looking for in terms of design, colors, and durability. He showed us several other fabrics that ticked all the boxes for both color, texture, and durability. To our surprise, Josh showed us how we could customize the sofa with a better fabric for no increase in price. We could select the color of the wood legs and for a modest fee we could add 6 button tufting to each of the three sofa back cushions. Both the back and seat cushions were fully reversable and could be serviced at the store if anything went wrong in the future. All of this could be made for us in Los Angeles and delivered in 4 to six weeks. We looked at several chain furniture stores and another local store. Modern Design sofas had the best quality and prices compared to the other stores. We bought a high quality customized sofa with the lowest delivery cost for about what we would have paid at a higher end chain store. Their sofa didn't compare in terms of design or base price fabrics.

The price was great and I got exactly what I wanted in a high quality well-designed item, in what looks and feels like a custom fabric, for easily half the price of anywhere in Seattle or generally online. They have a brick and mortar location downtown with design assistance, but you can also order everything online and the owner will contact you about delivery and choices. My custom sofa bed was here in just three weeks.. This store is a well kept secret.

They steered me towards velvet to handle cats as well, which I hadn't thought of before. I've had it for 6-7 years now and it still looks about as new as when I got it delivered, despite being routinely puked on by my cats.

Right now 3 stars out of 5 which is neither negative nor positive as I noted good order experience but bad updates and estimates. Guess you can earn the other stars on delivery follow through.Last update: Couch delivered on April 1st. Great construction and easy delivery arrangements. I even arranged to have them take away the old couch. Excellent!

Cat V: Always 5 stars for container store. This is a huge place with anything container related you could possibly need. They have a million storage solutions but office organization supplies, kitchen supplies, etc. prices are pretty steep but you’ll never feel more organized. Also they have a bathroom here that you don’t need a code for. Never super crowded, even on weekends, so checkout moves quickly.
Connor Poske: and asked if I could come by. Tiffany answered. She asked what pieces needed cutting and how much length to cut off. I then drove to the store and arrived at 6:50PM. I saw Tiffany helping other customers. I sort of stood there awkwardly because I didn't know what to do. Tiffany actually came up to me and said "Are you the one that needed the cuts? 29 inches, right"? She actually remembered the length without me reminding her. She took the pieces in the back, emerged 5 minutes later, and handed me my cut pieces which are now hanging beautifully in the garage.This experience was notable for a few reasons:-Easy to get a hold of an actual person at the physical store quickly-Fast and competent customer service w/no questions asked-Tiffany willing to go the extra mile despite being at closing time-Stressful situation turned into a problem quickly solvedThank you!
