Woodland Park Zoo: what do users think?

Kevin Hicks: . There seem to be many negative reviews complaining of only seeing "35%" of the animals - I think these folks just weren't patient enough. There were several instances where we'd show up to an exhibit along with some other families, and within 20 seconds of not seeing the animal, they'd all leave. Sure enough, not more than a minute or two later, here comes the wolf, hippo, etc. This happened with the snow leopard, and we ended up getting the amazing video attached to this review all to ourselves! We enjoyed taking our time, because the paths and exhibits were so well built, it was the most "in nature" we've ever felt in a zoo.

Bikash S: Nice place for family weekend. Kids with love it. Zoo has tigers, hippo, giraffe, penguins, orangutans, bears and other animals. There is cafe and carousel ride inside Parking is paid on hourly basis. Overall park is very clean and fun place.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Jeff Zhan: Well maintained and beautiful zoo overall. Volunteers and other park staff are plentiful and animals looked happy. Wish it was free parking but otherwise was easy to find a spot.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

HBGG Snauwaert: Nice little zoo. Well maintained. Nice enclosures. Good information about the animals provided.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Mariela Aguirre: Visited on Weekday Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Yes

Aleca Murphy: Woodland Park zoo is the very first zoo that was designs as a natural habitat. It's a great place to scroll around and peek at a few animals. Even on a rainy day there's plenty of places that are covered in animal houses.Good choices for food in the food court in the parking lots Make it easy to park close to an entrance.

Seattle Animal Shelter: what do users think?

Jayme Lynn: I found a stray cat and went to SAS to find its owner. Microchip found! Every employee was so kind and patient. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Kim Mulligan: As a Seattle Realtor I work with many people who are new to our area and ask me where they can get a new family member. There is another animal shelter with "Seattle" in the name but the SAS in the one in the City of Seattle. Located between Magnolia and Queen Anne, it's located in the Interbay neighborhood. I have fostered a litter of feral kittens through this shelter and recently adopted a dog that was brought from Taiwan through a rescue group that was relinquished to SAS.The Seattle Animal Shelter consists of lots of good people and volunteers who really care about animals. Of course as a city department, they are underfunded and overworked and perform an often thankless job. There have lots of quality animals that need new homes. If you think you want a certain type of behavior or breed, please check here first. Most of these animals have just had bad luck and will make a wonderful home pet. Remember adopt don't shop. Afterall, most of us are mutts, what is your pedigree?

Shawn Dannar: Staff very helpful

larisa krutik: Thank you so much for neutering my dog Zeus. He is still recovering but doing way better!

miles gf: I got my cat from here and I love my cat so much! The animals behave very well the employees are the nicest people . 5 stars would recommend

Heyday Farm: what do users think?

Bill Nicholson (Billy): We sat at the chef's counter and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. The food was excellent. We would highly recommend this experience with it's country farmhouse venue and 5 star meals.

Nadine “Renaissance Woman” Nagamatsu: This is my second fabulous dinner at Heyday Farm. Best food and ambiance on Bainbridge Island. Make reservations online, and get ready for an epic culinary experience. Perfect for small groups upstairs and more social dining downstairs.

P Andrew: What an amazing experience. Fabulous food. Awesome atmosphere. You have to request community seating, they mean you’re sitting right in the kitchen like the chef is cooking just for you and you can ask where the food came from. We are going back

GR Lau: The food, service and staff were awesome.

Mercedes Holm: I am in awe of the experience my family and I had at Heydey Farms. We sat at the Chef's table which is honestly the only place I'd want to sit going forward! It really felt like sitting in someone's beautiful kitchen while talking to the chefs. The whole experience was warm and inviting. I will take every out of town guest here going forward and visit for any special occasions!

Ana Liquin: We made reservations to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! The staff were wonderful, food was phenomenal, and the environment was perfection.I will add that they are extremely accommodating! My husband is hard of hearing and I wanted him to enjoy our dinner as much as I would without feeling overwhelmed with all the noise. They made it possible for us. So sweet and kind. Also shout out to Milo our wait staff. They were incredibly kind, fun and went above and beyond for us! They deserve a raise! All in all, if you are visiting Bainbridge Island make sure to have a reservation in place here! You don’t want to miss out!

Nic Phillips: Not only is this family-owned operation run by some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet, their sourdough bread is unrivaled. Seriously, there's a legitimate chance my wife and I would engage in physical conflict to decide who gets the last slice, rather than agreeing to share it.

M. Mimoko: and it was the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding! The Heyday Farm team was incredibly patient and supportive throughout our planning process. We had a lot of ideas during the early stages, and they worked with us to formulate our dreams and made them become a reality! If you are looking for an intimate and unique space to celebrate your special day, Heyday Farm is the place for you!PRO: beautiful location, welcoming and warm staff, and sustainable and local food and beverages!

Seattle Humane: what do users think?

Sapphire Le Rougetel: The adoption process was nice and easy. Everyone was super friendly, and were very excited for us to adopt our new kittens. They provided us with great resources - vets, discounts at pet stores etc. - I would highly recommend adopting from the Seattle Humane!!

John Renforth: When we adopted our new kitten, we were impressed by the entire Seattle Humane organization, the care of the animals, courtesy of the staff, and the overall approach to helping every little one prepare for a new life in a new home. We were so impressed that we adopted a second, a bit older, cat so we now have two brothers who are doing very well and getting along famously. If you are considering adopting a cat or dog, please checkout the Seattle Humane organization. You can have the confidence that every cat and dog is well prepared with all the medical care they may have required, as well as the personal attention to help assist in their transition to a new home.

Jimmy Wong: I brought my 9 month old puppy to get spayed they were very helpful and the cost was very affordable compared to if I was going to the veterinarian

Lily Doan: Great services

Stephanie Kirby: We got Bear from Seattle Humane 3 weeks ago. He is the 2 Ds, delightful and destructive as most puppy’s are. Bear is our second adoption from Seattle Humane, our first was Jack who we got 17 years ago and passed away 2 years ago. Jack was the best companion in all our adventures as I’m sure Bear will be. Pick 1 is Old Jack and pick 2 is Bear. Seattle Humane has the some of the best humans working with the animals and helping out with adoptions, don’t buy from a breeder when you can adopt a loving mutt!

Emily: I have always had great experiences at the Seattle humane society. I've adopted two adult cats here. The volunteers have always been very helpful. Parking is available. Bathrooms were nice. Facilities are clean.

Isabelle Chen: I'm super happy that I found this vet, the people there are super nice and treated my overly sensitive Shiba nicely.

Daisy Yen: Neat, spacious, and fun!

Suzanna Mizell: Nice trails, charming little farm, great place for a kids party. A bit off the beaten path, so not a super convenient location, but definitely worth the drive. Be sure to bring a picnic/snacks as there isn't anything close by if you've got hungry little ones with you.

S N: Nice little farm with open grass area and a barn with farm animals for kids

Toni Bayless: Great park!

Catherine Signoretty: Super friendly crew, farm animals easy to see for the younger ones, then explore the forest. Excellent place to spend few hours, or just one, or have a picnic, weather permitting.

Fox Hollow: what do users think?

Taylor Ochoa (TMinspired Photography): As a Washington wedding photographer, I come across a lot of venues. Fox hollow is my new favorite. I love how there is so much room to roam in the gardens, and historic charm of the house. Rain or shine, Fox Hollow Farms is lovely. The clear tent over the dinner/dance floor keeps the reception bright until sunset. Can’t wait to document more weddings here!

Natasha Andaz: We couldn't have been happier working with Landmark Events to have our wedding at Fox Hollow Farms! From the beautiful back lawn to the stables to the gardens to the front lawn, every location was picturesque like straight out of a fairytale. We were also thrilled with the catering, the food was delicious which is something you can't say very often about wedding food! We even got to stay overnight in the manor on the property as we made our minimum payment. Having our wedding party stay on site was such a blast, I couldn't be happier with how the wedding turned out!

Sunil Dhar: What a lovely place for a wedding. The setting is ideal to host an Indian Wedding with the trees and orchard.

The space needle is in the center of a few museums and walking distance to parks. Nothing spectacular. It's nice tho. It's basically something you show up to and say you been there then never return. Just a 1 and done. I do like how the monorail pulls up right next to it. That was convenient. So yea. Just heads up. Don't think it's gunna be something grand. Animal Medical Center of Seattle: what do users think?

Tuilly Morita: We’ve been here several times now and everyone from the front desk to the vet techs and doctors have been kind, communicative, and thorough. While it’s never “fun” to be at an emergency vet, I feel assured that the staff is giving my pets the best care.

Joseph Marquez: kept us well informed of their medical decision making which was reasonable and sensible the whole time. When the results made it clear there was no chance of turning the process around they helped set us up for the best possible return home for our cat to die peacefully in the only home she ever knew.

Nicole Ruder: . I do wish I got to be in triage with her rather than wait away from her, but I also am understanding of why they don’t have things set up that way here. Would recommend for anyone experiencing a pet emergency!

Dustin Adams: truly above and beyond from the staff here.If Im ever dealing with a pet emergency this will be exactly where I go from now on!! Thank you again AMCS!!!

Kristy Leach: I WAS COMPLETELY DEVISTATED WHEN I BROUGHT MY SWEET MANDO IN! I NEEDED A SECOND OPINION AFTER VISITING SUMNER ANIMAL HOSPITAL WITH WHAT I KNEW WAS A MIS-DIAGNOSIS. THE TEAM INSTANTLY BROUGHT HIM BACK AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO WORK ON HIM. HIS LIVER WAS FAILING AND HE WAS BREATHING HEAVY. ALTHOUGH THERE HAD BEEN X-RAYS AND BLOODWORK DONE AT SUMNER DR. RUSHING DID MORE TO COMPARE OR TO SEE WHAT WAS MISSED. SHE CAME IN TO THE ROOM AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED AND SHOWED ME THE XRAYS AND BLOODWORK RESULTS. SHE SHOWED ME ALL THE WATER IN HIS LUNGS AND FAILING ORGANS WHICH WAS THE MISSING INFO THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE FROM SUMNER. SHE WENT INTO FULL EXPLANATION OF ALL THE POSSIBLE REASONS FOR HIS CONDITION AS WELL AS TREATMENT/SURVIVAL RATE. ALTHOUGH THE END RESULT WAS DEVISTATING, THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO LET GO OF MY 13 YEAR OLD BABY! DR. RUSHING WAS SO COMPASSIONATE NOT ONLY DURING ALL THE TESTING AND CONSULTATION BUT DURING THE FINAL MOMENTS OF MY BOYS' END OF LIFE! SHE DIDN'T JUST GO ON HER KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING. SHE ALSO REACHED OUT TO THE RADIOLOGIST TO MAKE SURE HER DIAGNOSIS WAS WHAT THEY SAW AS WELL. IF ONLY I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIM THERE FIRST...NOW ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS I'VE DONE IN MY ADULT LIFE HAS PASSED, I CAN FINALLY START TO HEAL!THANK YOU DR. RUSHING AND YOUR AMAZING TEAM FOR YOUR EXCELLENCE AND COMPASSION!

Kevin Jabroni: The help and care we received from the professionals there was absolutely incredible but in knocking off a star for how rude and unfit for her line of work the receptionist was. It was ridiculous to be there in that moment, during an emergency, and there’s this cold, emotionless lady with not one ounce of social skills or professionalism in her body working the front desk. I’d definitely come back, but I hope she’s found another line of work by now.

Kali Grunden: Everyone there was so comforting and let me take as much time with my family dog as possible. They answered all our questions and didn't pressure us to make any on the spot decisions. I believe coming here gave us the best of a bad situation

Jackie M.: after she had a terribly botched dental extraction at another vet. She was left with a large decaying hole in her jaw nearly the size of a penny from the previous procedure done elsewhere.Dr. Carle squeezed my dog in, took a close look at her injury, and gave me a firm plan forward. She made room in her schedule within days to complete corrective surgery on my 12.5 year old dog. Dr. Carle and her team fully explained the procedure and how they would fix the damage. I was very nervous after what my dog had been through, but they were understanding, compassionate, and took their time with me.The entire team here from the front desk to everyone I ever encountered made me feel heard and taken care of. Rachael and Dr. Carle were such kind people in a time when I felt scared and nervous for my fur baby. My dog is finally back to her old self, and I could not be more thankful. I cannot recommend Dr. Carle and her team enough!

Lenni Shea: We have spent a lot of time at this emergency vet over the past few years having elder pets. We have had excellent experiences each and every time, from check in to vet techs, to the doctors and check out. Everyone is so helpful and compassionate, understanding and supportive. Techs Briar and Morganne have been especially helpful and always check in on our pets. We brought our younger cat in a couple days ago and Dr. White took wonderful care of him, explained all our different options for testing and treatment recommendations and took time with us. Just prior to our having home euthanasia for our dog, I brought her in through their urgent care and Dr. Smith was so wonderful- again very compassionate, understanding and went through all the options with support for whatever I decided. Jackie and Dawn at the front desk have been really wonderful, quick and responsive at checkin and we watched Jackie very compassionately help out someone who was letting their dog go and struggling to figure out payment. She was so patient with her. We are super disappointed that we are moving soon and won’t be able to continue to use them for emergency but will definitely make the drive for urgent care and specialists from Renton! Thank you to all of the team, I wasn’t able to name everyone we have had a good experience with but it’s been every tech, nurse, vet and front desk staff, truly. Bring your pets here!

Sarah Thomas: we were simply chatting about it but she was spot on the money with her diagnosis.

Jamie F: I'm so grateful they are here, they have been so extremely helpful while our cat is going through some issues. Everyone I've met through multiple visits has been so wonderful and compassionate.

Michelle Coburn: We have been to many specialists with our sweet yorkie and have found Dr. Tanya Donovan to be among the very best. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and effective. She never rushed us when discussing our yorkie's healthcare, giving us detailed explanations and options. If you are in need of an internist, we highly recommend Dr. Donovan.

M I W: I had the unfortunate experience of needing the services of the Animal Medical Centers for emergency intervention for the second time in a year. Both my experiences were great if you remove the unpleasantness of an ill pet. Staff answering the phones were helpful and compassionate. Staff at intake/triage were professional and kind. Expectations for time and what would be happening were clear. When I spoke to the vet they provide options, explained the price related to those options. Several people have implied up selling or sales but I didn't feel that was the case. Nothing suggested was outrageous in terms of valid care and I was able to discuss with the vet the pros and cons of my options. Yes, it's more than the cost care at your personal vet but it's an emergency service. It is what it is and I'm grateful to the providers that gave my pup the care he needed.
