French American School of Puget Sound: what do users think?

Julien Hervet: Both of our kids attended FASPS, the first one from PK to 8th grade, the second one is still in 6th grade. FASPS is not just about bilingual education, it is a multicultural environment where the kids learn to think as global citizens. The harmonized curriculum that is taught in both French and English reflects the highest standards of the French and American educational systems. Ultimately, the students are prepared to thrive in a multicultural world, where they learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity and the power of language. It truly is a pleasure to be part of this vibrant community.

Alvar Jolin: A wonderful team and fantastic school. Absolutely wonderful!

Jonathan Li On Wing: Great teachers!

Adele Ropars: I love this school it is really awesome, i came to Seattle from London and I was really well welcomed. The teachers are really cool and fun, I also love that everyone speaks both languages, it was much easier for my best friend who came here from France.

Adele Clayes: , i learned how to speak and understand english in a year. I'm in 7th grade now and without FASPS, i probably wouldn't be able to speak english as well as i do.

Riley Rock: I went to FASPS from age 2 until 7th grade- and after 7th grade somewhere else, I came right back. That year gave me a chance to see how much academically and socially superior FASPS is to the other schools out there. If I could stay here for high school, I would.

Yoshi Li: I'm a student at FASPS and I love it!!! The teachers here are awesum and the staff and kids here are cool with u no matter ur race! The dances and retreats are really fun! Starting from 4th grade to 8th, students gt to spend a week or 2 traveling to dc, around washington, oregon, costa rica, taiwan and islandwood. I think that FASPS deserves a big two thumbs up! To Jason H. I don't get y u don't think our school is awesome? I think she's friendly. I think it was because it was open house and those things r always stressful. I remember at an open house, I was volunteering and my friends and I were very stressed on what would happen.

Harmony Long: We have been a part of the FASPS community for the last five years. Our oldest is entering the 3rd grade and our middle child is going into his pre-kindergarten this fall. We have been thoroughly impressed with the phenomenal curriculum and the exceptional caliber of the teaching staff. The head of school is engaging and professional. Patricia Blaise-Caves and Anne Derieux – Directors of Admissions and Advancement are both remarkable in their dedication to the students, school and parent community. I highly recommend the school for those families looking for an academically strong, multi-lingual, cultural diverse, conscientious, and technically savvy education.

Juan Vega de Soto: I am a student at this school right now and I find it to be excellent. The teachers there offer something more. They teach you in a way that motivates you and entertains you and is yet teaching you in a way in which you're learning amazingly fast! It's a spectacular school with fantastic kids, all of them studious, some more than others, but none of them are mean, bullys, or vandals. I see just by the level of speech of my my teammates that me and my friend that attend FASPS are at a higher level. I love the school, and it's offered me so much and has still so much to offer me. I truly do love it and I sincerely think that I could not have a better education anywhere else.

Dawna Grand: kids have been at this school for 6 years. great bilingual education and highly skilled staff. excellent leadership!

ExcelMandarin: what do users think?

Theophilus Ko: and nothing was more effective in getting me up to a comfortable level than this program. This course taught me solid fundamentals that allow me to speak very comfortably to native speakers using everyday conversational language. For example in a typical day I might talk about my opinions on something, how I’m feeling, what I plan to do, etc - and all of this would now be totally fine using mandarin. I also noticed the value of this course kicking in when I did a trip to China and Taiwan

Daniel Crowe: Excel Mandarin is definitely one of the more productive classes out there. I was initially unsure about a class over zoom, but it turned out to be convenient and feel natural - thanks of course to talented and experienced teachers as well. I also was hesitant about the price, but now after finishing Q3 I think it was more than worth it. From meeting West-coast people with similar interests, to the wealth of resources that we get to keep, it feels like a good deal. They know what they are doing with sample classes, because I thought "Why not sit in, what have I got to lose?" but was hooked right away.

Aidan Rosswood: Just finished the third quarter and feel really confident in my Mandarin speaking foundation. It's gonna take a lot more learning to become really good but I now know all the foundations of grammar and speaking. The teachers here are AWESOME and the class is a blast plus it keeps you accountable and on track to keep moving forward. If you want to start learning Mandarin, start here.

Katie Mangan: This class was so amazing! It was hard work but my Chinese improved more then I ever expected. The teachers are amazing, they make class so fun and always around to help and answer questions even outside of class! I highly recommend this class if you want to begin learning but aren't sure where to start!!

Daniel Cook: 3 quarters of class and 7/8ish months later, I'm actually so impressed with how well my classmates and I are able to speak Mandarin. I never thought that I'd be able to learn this much at this speed, but the teachers and curriculum are absolutely outstanding. If I could learn other languages using the exact same classroom format and lesson structure, I'm sure I'd hop on those right away as well. Seriously, 20-30 person classrooms have nothing on this! The teachers are extremely friendly and helpful, and do their best to make sure you are learning effectively. If they had a Q4 class, I would surely sign up for it...

Lauren Khoo: It’s been such a fun, enriching, and effective experience to learn mandarin with ExcelMandarin. I’ve just finished the Fluency series of 3 terms. I’m so impressed with the progress I’ve made in a relatively short time and the enjoyment I get out of every class. The instructors care personally about everyone’s goals and progress and they foster a fun class environment. Also, I really liked the relationships and sense of community I gained with fellow students. EM has been a great part of my year. Between the homework and the classes multiple times a week, it is a time commitment, but it’s worth it if you want to learn!

Melanie Kong: EM's teachers are the best! Learning another language can be really challenging and vulnerable, but the teachers truly care about each student and create such a welcoming, fun, and supportive environment. I just finished Q3, and 8 months with EM has made me feel more confident in Chinese than years of schooling in other languages.

Livvie Lin: , but definitely worth it. Their approach to teaching - focusing on speaking, lots of practice in class, tailored toward what would be most practical for most people - has enabled me to progress faster in learning the language than I would've been able to in other programs. On top of that, my teachers and classmates are funny and enjoyable to spend time with! I'm continuing on to the intermediate conversation class because I'm excited to further improve my speaking fluency and discuss more interesting topics with classmates.

Caleb Lin: were more effective than years of Spanish study through high school. The instructors are uniformly talented and are deeply committed to their students and to the art of language pedagogy. The curriculum is thoughtfully constructed and is concentrated on the most important aspects of oral communication. I managed to handle the coursework while also maintaining a full-time job, and I imagine that if I were able to commit even more of my energy to the classes, my Mandarin would have improved even more. I cannot recommend ExcelMandarin more highly.

Chris LoCasto: I had an awesome experience studying Mandarin at ExcelMandarin. Having just finished up Q3, I'm really happy with the progress I made. All of the homework, articles, and vocabulary tools you get access to provide a solid structure for learning, but the real secret sauce is the instructors! We had Darren and Eco instruct us for Q3 and not only did they explain things really well, they made class a lot of fun to attend. I'm honestly really glad I decided to learn Mandarin here and can't recommend it enough.

Kimiko Medlock: Finished all three quarters of ExcelMandarin, and it was 100% worth it. Would do again. Three things worth mentioning: the low student to teacher ratio makes a big difference, the teachers are very professional and care about your progress, and they offer a huge number of tools to help you learn throughout the courses—for example HackChinese and DuChinese—that are effective. Love this school and would recommend

Donna Lee: Taking the Q3 classes at EM was the obvious choice for me after learning so much with Q2 and the Q3 session did not disappoint. I felt that my speaking and listening improved so much. It was fun being able to have discussions with the others students, using Chinese in complex sentence structures. The curriculum is well organized and the teachers are amazing. I felt that the individual feedback for the homework and quizzes were so helpful and when I had questions, they always responded so quickly and thoroughly. The Q3 classes were great and definitely pushed my fluency to a higher level.

Nicholas Walls: I completed Q1-Q3 with Excel Mandarin in 2022. This was a great learning experience, and I left the class feeling empowered to speak Mandarin in real world scenarios and ready to continue my learning. The classes ultimately focused on expressing thoughts and feelings, and opinions on everyday work, life, and hobbies. The teachers were really great, and I always felt supported in learning at my own pace, with a good push as well!

Gabriela Claravall: After finishing three quarters at ExcelMandarin, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've made. Q3 has given me the knowledge and tools to discuss my opinions and ideas. I think that all the teachers are very kind and amazing. They really care about the students learning, and I even got to meet some teachers from ExcelMandarin in person which was really nice, and felt very personable. The teachers in Excel Mandarin are all so passionate about students learning and I’m really thankful that I joined ExcelMandarin. I’m happy for the teachers I met in ExcelMandarin. I hope to keep in contact with the EM community.

Mary Kathryn: I've had such an amazing experience with Excel Mandarin! The teachers are so helpful and patient, the curriculum is aimed towards conversation and expression which I love, and the workload is challenging in a way that pushes you forward! I always enjoyed classes with my awesome teachers and classmates. I've just completed Q3 with Excel Mandarin and even though extra business in life kept me from focusing on it as much as I would have liked, I feel excited and well-prepared for continuing on in improving and growing in my Mandarin skills. I've tried to learn with other self-teaching methods in the past, but never thought fluency would be possible for me until these classes! So grateful for this school!

Ted Meyer: I joined excel mandarin in september 2021 because my girlfriends family doesn't speak english, and I had no way to communicate with them. I was super impressed with the teachers and curriculum, and having a 1:4 teacher:student ratio made getting in-class speaking time actually possible, and even fun. I finished all three terms of classes and feel so much more confident now when speaking to my girlfriend's family!

Laima Liljeberga: I couldn't have asked for a better place to study Mandarin! I can't believe how far I've got through these three quarters, myself a few years ago probably wouldn't have believed that I would be speaking/understanding so well in such a short time. The time and money investment is definitely worth it. The classes not only put the learned grammar into practice but are very fun and entertaining therefore make the learning process very enjoyable!

French Immersion School of Washington (FISW): what do users think?

Erick Lerma: , and that the curriculum is in sync with state standards.

olivier Leeman: and are now in kinder and 2nd grades. We love the school and the community. The classes are small so the teachers have a lot of time to spend with each student. Their french is as good as their english. The school is following both french education program and american.

Jessica Burgamy: In addition we want our children to relate to people of different back grounds. Since FISW is attended by children from a variety of countries it exposes them to all sorts of cultures.FISW is well run. They have been around for 15 years and it operates like a well-oiled machine. The school is accredited by both the French system as well as our State run educational system. Each class takes a few field trips a year. They have many after school extra-curricular activities, such as piano, chess, fencing and after school homework. The teachers are always accessible in the morning and after school to touch base on what the kids are learning and how the class is going in general. My daughters have thrived at FISW. We are lucky to have found the school. I highly recommend it.

Jennefer Boyer: in a language that took me decades to learn and I now I have to ask them for help! :

Mercy Perez: Our two children have attended FISW since preschool and have both become fluent in French, even mistaken for being native French speakers on our travels to France. In addition to being a fun and caring environment, the French curriculum challenges them to be confident and curious learners. We feel fortunate to have found the French Immersion School of WA when we started looking at preschool options.

Keely Cofrin Allen: , and various field trips. The small class sizes mean a lot of personal attention. There are also a lot of opportunities for parent involvement in the school. I cannot recommend FISW highly enough.

Kendall A: Our daughter has had a great experience with the school, the teachers and the community. She is in third grade now and has been attending since preschool. She is fluent in French and does very well academically in both languages. We only speak English at home, so I am able to see that she is reading well about grade level in English and she loves to read for pleasure in both languages. Our experience has been that when our daughter had a difficult time early on, the school worked with us to find the best solution for her and her happiness. Now, a few years later she is flourishing, happy and loves school. We also have very positive experiences with the parent community. They are very involved and there are many opportunities to socialize and get to know families from all over the world.

Jana Riggan: but he is now very interested in spelling, writing, word recognition and numbers. He always enjoyed books, but he became very interested in how things were spelled, how to say things in French vs. English and counting and basic addition/subtraction. I am amazed at all the things he learned! The classrooms are bright and the teachers are very engaged. The whole environment feels like a very caring community. We are thrilled he will be attending kindergarten this year and expect that he will become even more excited about learning.

Smart Start Day School: what do users think?

Lyle Hews: , and it is much more than a day care. It is a wonderful preschool that our now 3 year old loves so much she is excited to go in the mornings!Miss Sandra, who is the owner, runs the school with Miss Shonny and they are both gifted, smart and nurturing educators who our daughter loves. The teachers are great also! Our daughter absolutely adores her teacher, Miss Lindsey. And Miss Lindsey's thoughtful, creative and fun ways of implementing the curriculum have been especially impressive and set our minds at ease as parents knowing our child is always learning. I can be very hard to please at times when it comes to my daughters and their education and truthfully can't say one bad thing about the education my 3 year has been receiving for over a year now at SSDS!Besides being a clean, safe, well organized school with a great curriculum and all of the traditional aspects of early education, SSDS also has creative, "outside the box" teaching methods which My wife and I love. They garden, do yoga, bring in special guests such as police men to learn about different parts of society, and spend a lot of time outside, among other things.Maybe, what I like about the school the most is the loving, positive atmosphere our little girl gets to be in every day she is not at home with her family and that we truly don't have to ever worry about her during the day. She is in wonderful hands and is constantly learning and developing.SSDS is a wonderful school and exceeded our expectations in many ways!Keep up the amazing work Miss Sandra and staff!

Kamelia Vineva: , very knowledgeable about how to develop fine motor skills and how to organize the little bunch of toddlers so they can finish their activities and actually learn something.

Nate Hart: We just started our daughter here. She loves it. The teachers are wonderful. The only problem is that she doesn't want to leave at the end of the day 😉

S F: Our son attended Alexandra's Renton location for 3.5 years and we absolutely loved it. Her well thought out curriculum and "learning through play" program gave our son a great start and a very positive preschool experience. He is now in Kindergarten and our challenge is to keep that momentum going so he continues to love learning like he did at Alexandra's!

Amanda Tremblay: . I have seen Alexandra worry over the well being of the kids in her care and go out of her way to help parents in dire situations. She is heavier on early childhood academics than other schools and her program is a good fit for kids who are curious and love to learn. I no longer work in early education - the good was overshadowed by the corrupt nature of most childcare centers - but if I were to go back, this is where I would first apply. Dig deep and do your research before you decide on a program for your child but definitely check this place out!

Janae Eells: My daughter started attending the Renton location in September 2016 and it's not secret in my house that she absolutely LOVES her school, friends & especially her teachers. It's been absolutely amazing to watch her grow over the last year. Coming home excited to show me her projects and tell me all about her day. My husband and I know that she is all ready for kindergarten now with all the amazing skills and hands on acivities that she's taken part of over the past 12 months. We've been so happy and excited about our daughter's experience that our 3 year old is starting at Tiny Miracles in September. He absolutely can't wait, and neither can we! We can't thank Alexandra and Eunice enough for all their love, care and attention to not only our daughter- but to all the children's needs.

Shelly Van Dyken: My daughter has been attending Alexandra's Renton location for 2.5 years. I am so thankful we found her! My daughter has learned so many things in this short amount of time and I know she will be so well prepared for Kindergarten when the time comes. It is a relief knowing my daughter is so well loved and cared for while I am at work. She loves being at school with her friends and teachers. I cannot recommend this school enough!

The French Studio: what do users think?

sarah LR: Geneviève is an amazing teacher who tailors her lessons to her students' needs. She works with you to find a working-style to suit your learning, growth and development goals. She's constructive, creative and allows for comfort within learning. I was looking for a more conversational lesson style and she worked to tailor our classes to my goals along with tailoring to my french knowledge and leveling. Absolutely recommend her as a teacher if you are looking to improve your french language skills!

Grace Scarella: consisted of friendly chats like two friends catching up over coffee, but entirely in French. However, when I wanted more help with the usage of prepositions, Geneviève had exercises readily available. Additionally, she would also assign me a topic to write about that we would discuss the following week, and she was great at choosing subjects that interested me as well as pushed me to use different vocabulary, verb tenses/moods, varied sentence structures, etc. After a few months working with Geneviève on a weekly basis, I feel like my language recall and fluency have greatly improved, matching my language proficiency I had attained while living in France. Speaking regularly with a native speaker like Geneviève is the best way to improve your French, whether you’re a beginner or advanced speaker, especially if you aren’t able to be fully immersed in a French-speaking country.

Diane Olberg: Geneviève is a superb teacher with a creative approach to our lessons. For our weekly sessions, she sends recorded dictations for me to transcribe as well as grammar lessons. I write short essays and sentences for review together, and we also use conversation to improve my pronunciation and vocabulary. She is a warm person as well as a dedicated teacher. I enjoy all of our lessons, and my French is improving a lot.

Susan Bellan: I started taking from Genevieve after I was taking lessons with friends through another private instructor. In that case, my friends were fluent in Spanish already and the lessons were extremely challenging for me so I finally let my friends know it wasn't working out - but, alas, now I had to find another teacher! I found Genevieve through Internet searching and I am very glad that I did. She teaches in a manner that really works for me and adjusts her processes when it makes sense. She is a lovely person and I enjoy going to my class with her each time. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to either improve their French or start from the beginning.

laura butcher: Geneviève is a wonderful tutor! She creates a fun and relaxing environment for learning. The lessons are focused on my goals and she helps me identify creative ways to fit learning French into everyday practice.

Adrienne Jones: Geneviève Larivée is a wonderful French teacher - patient, fun, and encouraging. Highly recommend!!!

Anthony Colburn: I have really enjoyed working with Geneviève over the last year to improve my French. I had been away from French for several years and needed help picking it up again. Geneviève creates a great blend of speaking, listening, reading, and writing that focuses on the student’s individual needs, even varying lessons to simulate real-world settings where conversation can be more difficult, e.g., on the phone or outdoors. She also flexes topics of conversation to give students practice speaking in situations they might encounter in their individual daily lives and professions. She is great at illustrating difficult grammatical constructions in a manner that makes them easy to remember. Geneviève strives to accommodate students’ scheduling needs and is great at following up when new time slots become available. I highly recommend her.

Vance B: Genevieve is an excellent instructor. She tailors the lessons to your needs and offers a lot of ideas to gain skills in French outside of her classroom.

Michele Kaspar: Geneviève makes learning French fun and relaxing. I started working with her about 3 years ago after taking some classes, and for the first time learning French didn't feel so overwhelming to me. She is great about adjusting our focus as my needs change, always making sure that what I'm working on will hold my interest. She is a super nice, patient, and encouraging person to have along on your journey into learning another language.

Bill Savage: . She draws upon this experience to bring a genuine understanding and sensitivity to her student's individual learning style. Geneviève is a fountain of good spirits and professionalism. She has a deep reserve of patience, and is one of the hardest working people I know. She motivates me to do well, and along those lines, she will often follow up with me between lessons to make sure that I have understood. Her knowledge and understanding of the French language is complete and you will simply not find a better teacher. She is also a dedicated athlete and artist, which just makes her a great person to know. Her creativity and energy are apparent in everything she does. I highly recommend Geneviève.

Melissa Mallory: Genevieve is a great teacher! She is enthusiastic, kind, patient, and accommodating. I started weekly 1:1 lessons with her prior to an 8 week trip to France. She helped to explain the nuances, phrases, and things I just would not have gotten in a large classroom setting. I looked forward to our weekly lessons. She loves her native language. That shines through when working with her. She is also quite clear, slow, and does not get bothered for asking how to pronounce something for the 10th time! I would highly recommend Genevieve for both French lessons and translation services.

Hazel Wolf K-8 ESTEM School: what do users think?

Yuanxi Li: Good shcool

Hays Clark: Amazing school for both students and parents! The STEM program at the school, staff, and facilities are all awesome! The current school building very new, and is architecturally modern with lots of light, open spaces, and fun colors. Inside there are large glass stairwells, fun murals, handing art, and a beautiful 'Live wall'. All of the classrooms and facilities are state of the art, well lit, environmentally conscious, and beautiful, fun, and functional. My wife and I could never imaging wanting to redo K-8, but after parent/teacher night we joked about reconsidering the matter and how lucky our kids are for having such a wonderful place of learning.

Zarita Hester: We have been with the school since 2011/2012 school year. We love it! The staff and kids get along and they are always trying new things. The idea of the bigger kids and the younger ones being buddies is awesome.they are an ESTEM school and it shows. They kids are challenged and they rise to it.

sharon jimenez acacio: We love it here. It is so diverse. They have art, music, and PE. The teachers and the principal great.

Carmaig de Forest: Great teachers, great principal, great support staff -- all of whom navigate the limitations of Washington State and Seattle Public Schools to forge a strong, child-focused learning environment. My daughter loves it too.

Sylvan Learning of Kirkland: what do users think?

Bhavana Shah: Great place for SAT prep!! My son enjoys learning there and is getting confident about his upcoming test 👍🏽

Claudia Secan: Sylvan has helped my son to get at the grade level in math and built a good foundation. I highly recommend the Kirkland Center.

Lyla’s piano world: I love it here

Shannon Hentschell: My 8th grade son really needed some help with getting his homework done, study skills and time management in general. He is not a very motivated person and does the bare minimum to get by in school. He was a little reluctant to start going to Sylvan but just after the first few visits I've already noticed a big change. He is proactive about going, he thinks about what Sylvan can help him with and always has his bag organized and ready to go. This translates to school as well. I used to have to check his classes on a regular basis to help him stay on top of assignments, and now he's getting them done and turned in on time with very little help from me. It's a win all around. I just wish we would have signed up sooner.

Christine Reynolds: My first grader started attending Sylvan for help with reading/writing. We had been working at home with him diligently, but it wasn’t converting. He’s been at Sylvan for six months and his reading has really taken off. His confidence is soaring and we are so happy. Working with Pat has been a very positive experience and we feel that she cares and is personally invested in each child. Couldn’t be happier with our results and would recommend Sylvan to others.

Bethany Hudson: Sylvan Learning of Kirkland has been invaluable for my 3rd and 5th grader! We’ve seen a tremendous improvement in confidence and skill. The focused attention of the teachers has made a huge impact for our kids, and Miss Pat is always on the ball, making sure families’ needs are met, expectations clearly conveyed, and goals achieved.

Seda Unal Calargun: Sylvan has helped our 8th grade daughter who is taking 9th grade Algebra. They ompleted the 8th grade math skills that she was missing in just 3 months with 3 hours per week lessons. They have a purely metric driven progress tracking which we really appreciate. Patricia is an amazing educator as the owner of the center. She is very responsive to our feedback. All the teachers have been very nice and knowledgable on math. Robert especially is our favorite teacher. As a summary, our daughter has built the confidence in herself for math that she has been lacking. Thanks to Sylvan!

Megany Samson: Sylvan has been a great resource for my 2nd grader who needs a little boost with his writing. After just a couple months, we have seen improvements in his ability to add detail sentences and form paragraphs. Pat is fantastic and truly cares about all the children. Highly recommend the Kirkland Sylvan location.

thebrav: My nieces and now my daughters have all benefitted from the excellent dedication and educational skills that Pat and her team have taught my girls. Larissa is ahead of her grade and Siena is on track to exceed her school goals.Thank you Siena

Rita Alexandrou: I love Sylvan Kirkland. Due to Covid my child was a little behind at school. Within two months he was back on track with the class. I appreciate Pat's direct approach and no nonsense attitude. I feel that Sylvan has made a positive difference in my child's education.

Swaroop Rane: My son has been attending Sylvan at Kirkland for over 2 years. Pat and her team have done an incredible job of helping him. He was struggling with his writing, understanding, and noting steps down in math. There has been a significant change in both areas. He is getting good grades and enjoys writing and Math. They do regular assessments that provide parents with clarity on their kid's progress. I am genuinely thankful to the prompt and supportive team at Sylvan.

Elizabeth Hartshorn: Sylvan learning helped my child get back on track when he fell behind in reading. His attitude at home changed around doing homework in just a few weeks. I’m recommended this program to anyone struggling to help their child with test taking, doing homework, and the importance of reading. We even saw an improvement in math once he took the time to thoroughly read the story problems! It has been a great experience for our family and my child loves going there.

Jerry Trac: My 1st grader has benefited the tutoring at this location. I would recommend others that are seeking for extra practice and lessons.

Michelle Show: My 5th grader 💕 Sylvan because there teachers are nice and teach her well. They can be funny and kind at the same time. They teach her about ratios or homophones we would just like to say 😊 thank you!

N Rinehart: As a parent, the most important thing to me when evaluating a teacher or program for my kids is how well they understand my child. As an educator, the most important aspects are quality of curriculum and confidence in the teaching team. SLC of Kirkland possesses all of these things and offers them in a warm and welcoming environment. I am happy to be here and look forward to sending my son soon.

Stephanie Lund: For the past year, I've had my 4th grader going to Sylvan to help him build his confidence in reading and comprehension. We also asked for assistance on helping him with improving his handwriting. Over this last year, he has come leaps and bounds. Based off of Sylvans assessments, my son was also behind on a few skills for his grade level. In the past year, he is fully at grade level for reading and almost fully at grade level for comprehension. Excited to see his confidence going into 5th grade because of Sylvan. We also made the decision to put our youngest son into Sylvan for the summer to also boost his confidence in reading since he’ll be going into 1st grade in the fall. I’m so happy that we made this decision. He’s at grade level as well for 1st grade and will hopefully feel just as confident as his brother. We look forward to continuing putting our youngest in for the summers to ensure he feels great going into his next grade level.Pat has just been so wonderful to work with. She makes thoughtful recommendations and communicates with us on any changes she’d to the curriculum for our boys or even just to tell us how great they are. I really appreciate Sylvan and Pat for helping us ensure our boys are successful at school.

Kris Phan: Sylvan at Kirkland is simply AMAZING!! I've been through many years with Best in Class and Kumon. I have been so disappointed with both programs. Kumon simply does not teach and I had expressed my frustration with the Kumon center so many times. I was finally ready to pull my kids out of Kumon and by chance, my boss recommended Sylvan, because Sylvan's curriculum is in sync up with the school's curriculum. My daughter has been with Sylvan for a couple of weeks now and I have been so happy with the 1-to-1 direct teaching. I have been so happy to know what my daughter is getting help with syncs directly with what she is learning at school. The director Pat is simply amazing too. She is a true educator at heart and can directly translate what gaps my child is working through. Yes, Sylvan is much pricer than Kumon. But I am now paying for quality teaching, teachers that follows the school curriculum, and teachers that can advance and backtrack my child for any gaps in learning.

Kaplan International Languages - Seattle: what do users think?

Dasad 00: Идеальный.

Miguel Angel Escobar Garcia: I studied in kaplan for 5 months, and it is the best experience I have ever lived. Everyone there is so kind, that makes you feel like you were in home. All the teachers are very professionals and the classes were excellent.

Majorelle Beauty Academy: what do users think?

Cristiana Wallace: I got my cosmetology license at Majorelle. And being license hairstylist wouldn't be possible if wasn't for Andrea and Perla. They understood my learning curve and were constantly giving me tasks that made me feel challenged and at same time confident to apply new techniques on clients. They really enforce all the state board rules and push all the students to maintain the salon clean, organize and all tools decontaminated.I always had a team feeling btw the instructors and the other students.Perla and Andrea are very open to communication and I had freedom to find myself in the industry.

Teresa Ramos: I have really thick and black hair that takes a long time to dye and cut. But every time I went, they were always patient with me and made me feel welcomed. Thank you ladies I can see your passion and ambition to give good services. Happy with the results every time.

Loraine Sindayen: We looked into several beauty schools in our area and we're so glad our daughter chose Majorelle Beauty Academy. She completed the Esthetics program this spring and it was because of the support of Perla and Andrea and the positive, and encouraging atmosphere they set for their students, she was able to complete her hours a month earlier than expected! One size doesn't fit all and Perla and Andrea understood that people learn differently so we appreciate them for being flexible and accommodating to our daughter's learning style throughout her time in the program. Thanks to Majorelle, our daughter is excited about her future and feels confident and prepared to take her board exams.

Diana Sarinian: I have been client in the salon for several years and I can't say enough good things about its customer service, their attention to details and they always greet you with the smile. Can't wait to see everyone again.

Billy Rollins: Been to see Andrea and Perla many times and it is always a pleasure and i am never disappointed with the service.Everyone is always so friendly.Even though it is to get my head buzzed they always do a great job and make you feel welcomed.Thank you ladies

Neetika Agarwal: Absolutely in love with this place. I have been visiting them since last 4 years and everytime I have been satisfied with their service. Facials, hair cut, hair color, waxing, makeup every service is just perfect. I can't pick which one is better than other. The students are trained for professionalism. Would highly recommend this place anyday.

Daniel Barrera: highly recommended, treated me with the respect i deserve, and every time i went i got the service i asked for, 👍🏼

Annette Phipps: I love Majorette Beauty Academy. I bring in a picture of haircolor. They get the color looking just like the picture I show. I would highly recommend this beauty school for all over haircolor and haircut.

Sancho Mia: Great haircut at an awesome price. Very friendly and fun staff.
