Alex Loddengaard: Our son started at Kiddie Academy when he was 1 years old and stayed for 10 months, when we moved to a different state. We LOVED Kiddie Academy. The teachers were all so sweet and caring. The staff were very accommodating, understanding, and communicative. We HIGHLY recommend Kiddie Academy! One of the saddest parts of moving states was leaving Kiddie Academy.
Runit Mungale: Warm and friendly staff. Good care of the kids with strong safety standards and healthy meals. Outdoor playtime in their own play yard is great. Appreciate the camera feed into classroom activities too. We are very happy with kiddie academy!

Simone Marticke: Kiddie Academy of QA is most caring with my child. It is a place with high standards for safety, a nurturing environment, and a high quality learning and activity program. I love the focus on emotional development. Staff are all very loving and clearly love their jobs. I love the in room cameras to check in on my child during the day. All meals are provided, even breakfast, which means I don't have to pack anything but a water bottle. Debbie, is a great and capable director in charge of this center. Can't say enough great things about this daycare. It is so much more than simply a daycare....
Ryan Burningham: Our 18-month-old is currently enrolled, and we’ve been very pleased. Teachers in particular are wonderful. Parking for drop off and pick up at peak hours can be a hassle because street parking is limited and there are only five parking spots in the lot, but parents handle it well and treat each other kindly.Edit: I’m not surprised to see that all negative reviews come from neighbors rather than from KA families. Completely understand why loud recess and standstill traffic would be frustrating for those next door.

Their curriculum is the right balance between being structured and at the same time flexible to the needs of a specific child.

Alec Drozdowski: Highly recommend Kiddie Academy in Queen Anne to anyone looking for childcare. We absolutely adore the staff and they treat our young son like he was one of their own. They have wonderful education programs while also allowing for fun, and I love how they embrace and celebrate different cultures’ holidays and traditions. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and we have had the best experience – send your kids to Kiddie Academy and I’m sure you’ll agree!
David Wold: Exceptional care; dedicated teachers; strong curriculum; tirelessly working administrators. We are so fortunate to have been part of the KA QA community for nearly four years. Our kids leave prepared for their next level socially and academically, and as parents, we leave knowing it will be challenging to duplicate the level of care elsewhere. The open door policy is real, but was rarely needed because of the daily proactive communication by teachers and staff. Heroic doesn't begin to describe the work that was done to keep the school open and operating safely and effectively during the pandemic.

Emily Bash: My son started going to YCA in September of 2022 in Toddler 1 and we seriously could not love this school more. The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is fun and my son learns something new everyday. He’s grown and developed so much in his time at YCA and we could not be more grateful for the care he receives there. We feel beyond lucky to have found this school and the Greenwood location is beautiful. We plan to keep him there all the way through Pre-K and hopefully have a sibling join him there in the future.

We receive daily updates about music classes, art classes, and Asian folktale classes. Every time I pick up Henry, multiple administrators and teachers say goodbye and cheer him on. He is happy, loved, and cared for during the work week, and we greatly appreciate it.
Heather K.: and enrolled them both in YCA when they turned 6 months old, given their dad and I both have full-time jobs. From day one, we have felt comfortable entrusting our children in the hands of the teachers at YCA because they showed us so much patience as new parents and showered our boys with so much love, while ensuring they were always safe. The structure at YCA has allowed our boys to not only overcome some behavioral issues over the years, but also learn to absolutely love school and learning. When COVID hit, virtual kindergarten was not the best option for our oldest who had already graduated from YCA. Due to COVID, YCA received extended licensing and were able to accommodate him returning for a hybrid school year where he absolutely thrived. I could go on and on
Gabriella: YCA has been an incredible part of our lives. Our two girls have flourished there and the relationships that we have formed with their teachers--and other parents--have been wonderful. The communication from teachers--including a daily handwritten journal entry relaying some unique component of each child's day--is unparalleled. The app by which parents are able to communicate with the school is user-friendly and I've never waited more than a few minutes for a response. The school's administrators-- Chia Pei and HaeLim care so much about the children and expend the energy to bond with each of them. I cannot say enough about this school. We are so lucky to have found it and will be crushed when our youngest ages out.
Jessica Meyer: , so we also transferred in our older daughter. She was so welcomed and gained immense academic skills in such a short time to catch up and excel in the tricky covid-hybrid year of kindergarten.
Lingde Kong: Our kiddo is the youngest in his class. At first we were worried. But it is working super well! My kid fits in way more quickly than I expect. The director spent time with our off-class tour and our concerns. The teachers are super responsive and patient. providing daily journals and interaction using app. Love them all! They even have music class and special Asian folktale class for small toddlers. If we keep living in this area, will stick with this daycare.
Kate MacDonald: from our 4 year old. Most adults don't understand where Dutch people are from! He learned this from his YCA teacher in their world studies class. They have the best foreign language program around - it's more comprehensive than even the local private elementary schools! Spanish and Japanese every week. We'll be leaving in a few months before our youngest starts K, and we're sad to be saying goodbye to the wonderful YCA family.
S Bear: Young Child Academy is absolutely wonderful. As my son moves on to kindergarten, we will definitely miss his time here.The Pre-K program is excellent with friendly veteran teachers, a variety of activities and learning, and friendly diverse kids and parents. There is a small but nice outside courtyard for playing. In the spring the kids make a weekly trip to the park. The monthly sharing day is the thing to which my son always looked forward.From a parent's perspective, the downside is that you have to pack your kids' lunch.

Jessica Cabodi: and between here and speech therapy he is testing in the normal range which is crazy-good; because they send pics and summaries of each day we can easily talk about his day and what he learned. He is already learning math. The teachers, parents, kids are all nice. We have had no communication problems. They go out of their way to address dietary concerns. They encourage kindness and inclusiveness. The wait list is crazy though, I started calling when I was six weeks pregnant with my last one even with sibling priority. We will really miss this school when our last one finishes.
April Jenks: TEA is by far the most impressive daycare I have ever been to. We waited a year to get in and it was worth the wait! They have structured activities and curriculum that push our toddler to grow everyday. We had a nanny prior to enrolling her and as soon as she went in, there was an explosion of words she started using. I love that everything is organic that they serve, they have Spanish and music and go outside everyday. The teachers are the sweetest and I can tell there is lot of love cause she is always so happy to see them. I also love all the art projects and the daily/weekly/monthly newsletters and updates. They are very accommodating to whatever people's special needs are and don't act put out by special requests. Seriously BEST PLACE EVER!
