חוה כץ: I started working out at NW about a year ago and I love it. It’s a welcoming place, you can tell they love what they do and they are experts at what they do. There’s a strong community feeling a lot of care for the progression of each person training. Cannot recommend it enough.

We visited while on vacation in Seattle and we will definitely come again on our next trip!Accessibility: Easily accessible, their scheduling app makes picking a workout, time, and payment very easy. It took me less than 5 minutes, very impressed for a non-corporate gym. They had so many class options and times available I had no excuse not to workout. The facility is located on a corner and you can’t miss it, well lit and with lots of lockers and storage areas plus showers if you need them.Workout: Our regular gym is a strength and CrossFit gym and we fit right in. The Strength and Muscle classes we attended met the same needs we work regularly. Kyle is an awesome coach and spent the whole hour moving between all the attendees and assisting with form and modifications to meet each persons needs. The scalability of each exercise meant my wife and I each got a strenuous and worth while workout. They used a huge variety of strength options including kettlebells, TRX, dumbbells, barbells, and calisthenics+plyometrics. Awesome workout.Staff: As stated above, expertly friendly and helpful. From our first time popping in to inquire about drop in availability, to our last class they were a real high light of the experience. Extraordinarily friendly and approachable. They helped us pick out the best options for our schedule and get set up quickly with no hassle.Facility: Modern equipment that is well maintained. Clean, and well laid out. They had equipment I hadn’t seen at larger gyms including weight scaling options that you really have to look for if you want them, such as clip on weights for intermediate settings.

Sarah Prentice: This is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. There’s a variety of exercises built into each group training class, so you’ll never be bored or without a challenge. The trainers provide a perfect balance of encouraging you to do what feels right for your body, but also pushing yourself to discover what you’re capable of. I highly encourage anyone who wants to invest in their long term health and quality of life to check this place out!

greg bear: , kinetic exercise / body-weight exercise, banded stuff like you'd do in PT, etc. There's new movements added all the time, keeping it very fresh. It's light on traditional cardio - which is great - strength training is much harder to do on your own I think w/o a good coach watching.There are personal trainers available also, but I've really enjoyed the small group training. Classes are kept small, never more than 10 people, so are getting technique adjustments and personal attention, help with weight selections, mods if needed. I'm always sore, but recoveries are quick - they don't let me overdo it - and also don't let me underdo it

Kacie Stovall: I have been attending the 8x/month small group training classes since 2021. The work outs are so thoughtfully curated and the small class sizes ensure the trainer is able to assist each individual, no matter their skill level. I usually attend Kyle's classes and the high level of expertise is obvious. He knows exactly why one exercise is paired with another and the benefit of each small variation in movement. Even the warm ups and cool downs change daily to match the movements performed. More than that, they care about your safety and your progress. Both Matt and Kyle, regardless of who is leading the class, will often assist me with correcting my form or choosing an appropriate weight that challenges me. I would recommend this gym for absolutely anyone!

I’m incredibly grateful for his work on solving my chronic knee pain that 5 years, 3 physical therapists, and 2 other personal trainers could not!A small thing that could make this facility even better is allowing trainers to reserve squat racks for their client sessions. I hired Dylan specifically to work on squats and there were a couple times the gym was so busy we couldn’t get a rack.

There was a tremendous amount of attention paid to all participants by the trainers.If you're wanting to learn how to properly use a kettlebell in your exercise practice, this is the place!

Andrea Naert: I started at Kettlebility in 2015, joining a Body Transformation Challenge. It was 12 weeks of exercise and nutritional coaching. I lost weight, gained strength and flexibility. Because of the detailed training provided to the coaches and trainers, every exercise can be tailored to the individual student. This means that at all times, I was doing exercise that was right for MY body, working on perfect form and safety for MY fitness level. I was never, and never have been, in competition with any other student in the studio. My sense accomplishment in my progress remains a great source of pride.More important than fitness, though, is the community that the coaches and trainers have built for the students. I've joined and eventually dropped out of many gyms, exercise and diet programs because there was no sense of continuity, no sense of belonging or acceptance. I'm really happy being a part of the work being done in the studio.

Tamie Callahan: I started working with Sonja about two years ago. I'm 70 years old. My goal was to build upper arm strength and make sure I was steady on my feet. I did Sonja's intensive introduction course and then continued on for about a year and a half. Sonja is awesome. Her instincts are excellent with regard to the type of exercise I needed and how to make adjustments. Today I've got my own routine and go to my gym three times a week for a shorter workout. And I feel great. You can even feel the muscles in my arms, which I never had before. I highly recommend Sonja's program. For someone like me who was never interested in weight training before, Sonja was the perfect solution. I looked forward to going to the gym with her and still do. I will be forever grateful for her guidance. Is it intimidating for a 70 year old woman to join a gym with a bunch of young people? A little. But in the end, I was hoping that I could inspire them. You're never to old to learn how to take care of your body. Thank you, Sonja.

Coach Ro takes his time to support each individual during group fitness- he breaks down the movement pattern, makes individual adjustments, and is a great motivator. Thats why I live in the city!Now lets get to the training center. It is the BEST experience I have ever had in regards to fitness. I've tried Orange Theory, Core Power, and Personal trainers––and this wins hands down. The workouts are challenging yet go by quick because they are paced well and exciting and varied. The trainers guide you, help you with form and encouragement. They are also damn nice, knowledgeable and lovely humans!. Raissa the studio manager always has a smile on her face! Caleb and Shane are rockstars and super helpful when correcting form.The other members are also pleasant and always say hello and pump you up when they partner with you––its a real sense of community.I joined a little bit over a month ago and i've lost weight, feel more confident and look forward to going! I train 4-5 times a week. Its really been a game changer for me....

All the negative reviews for this business live in the apartment building and are acting like suburban NIMBYS when they choose to live in central Capitol Hill with all the noise of the nightlife.Cannot say enough good things about the coaches here. Kareem Ali: I started at Rival fitness with the strength squad which helped me learn lifting with good technique, introduced me to friendly people, and helped me go through some rough times since that was right after I moved to Seattle when things were under COVID restrictions, so the place means a lot to me personally. That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times.It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Elizabeth Kakos: Accelerate is the best! The different class formats give you a great balance of strength and cardio training throughout the week. The coaches are knowledgeable and program well thought out workouts. They will definitely push you and challenge you, but will never push you beyond what you are comfortable with. They give great feedback to ensure that you are preventing injury and getting the most out of the work you are putting in, and they are happy to modify if needed. Last but certainly not least, is the amazing community. Accelerate members are the most fun, competitive, and hardworking group around. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else!

Ashley Edwards: While it may feel intimidating at first, please don't let that deter you. Accelerate is the absolute best workout I've ever experienced. I constantly find that I'm challenged in new ways, never hitting a plateau, always working towards something new. And while many class-style workouts can sometimes feel isolating, this is by far the best community out there. Cheering one another on through strength, classic, and especially maximum output days -- these are my people and I'm so so SO happy to have found this place.

Rosalie Corrigan: I have been to quite a few gyms in the area and accelerate goes above and beyond any others I have tried out. Brandon and the team have the best programming with the perfect mix of conditioning and strength. I never lifted before joining accelerate and can feel the difference adding in heavy weights has done for my overall power and endurance. The coaches give such great cues and tips on form so even if you are new to certain exercises they make sure you are doing it safely. The community at accelerate is also incredible. I always leave the gym feeling stronger from the workout and happier because of the encouraging and hard working people around me. It’s an amazing workout that leaves you exhausted yet always wanting to come back for more. Definitely check it out!

Jeff Edwards: The programming is top notch. The challenging workouts are balanced with encouraging coaches who help each member train at the right level for each individual. Three different class formats all help develop fitness, boost endurance, and build strength. Classes often feature a team element, encouraging interacting with the fun community of members. I've gotten stronger, fitter, and made some cool friends along the way. Definitely recommend checking out this gym!

Daren Bell: program that is the perfect mix of strength training, HIIT and cardio training. Not to mention the awesome Accelerate community they have built. This place has been an absolute game changer for me. After suffering through a severe back injury December 2018, I needed something to kick start my fitness regiment again. I started Accelerate in April of this year and I can honestly say that I am now in the best shape of my life. 15lbs lighter, more endurance than I have ever had, and my back issues and other problem areas are essentially a thing of the past. The Accelerate family has welcomed me with open arms, and there is no other gym I will work out in. I'm all in.P.S. MOT

My only request would be for a second 24kg bell in the class space, and/or a pair of them in the gym turf area.

Ian Hong: .It is well-equipped, always clean, and the staff and regulars are friendly. This is not an expansive gym, but in addition to the cardio equipment, it has racks, a smith machine, leg press, cable and plate-loaded machines, barbells and dumbbells, and benches. Even for those who are quite serious about their workouts, the equipment should be more than enough to get a great session in. Signup and cancellation were both very painless. Overall, I'd highly recommend this gym.

Logan Drummond: I just wanted to let folks know that Loft Fitness is a fantastic gym with really knowledgeable and caring coaches. I typically don't enjoy gyms very much, but Loft made me feel very welcome and cared for from the very beginning. Tours are totally pressure free for signing up, which I appreciated so much, and there is an awesome social dynamic to the gym where they have special events throughout the year. I can't recommend this gym enough to folks who are also neurodivergent or anxious about being at the gym as well. Give them a try! I promise you won't regret it.

Mark Sexauer: I'm in my 40's. I have always struggled with staying in shape. Mostly because I could not, no matter what I did, self motivate at the gym. I just never worked out hard enough to get any results. I remember one day spending over an hour looking up exercises on my phone at the gym. The Crossfit Loft is a group setting and has been the only thing that has worked for me. I haven't felt this good overall since my early 20's. The instructors and class structure are what you pay for and for me and my personal experience it's worth it. You get out what you put in so it still takes getting there and putting in the work but I couldn't be more happy with my commitment to the Loft.

Their programming was next level for me and every class was a schooling both in technique and in regards to what I am personally capable of. I purchased personal training sessions with Coach Ron Hook and he has helped me to level up considerably since I started with him 6 months ago. His professionalism and honed technical skills are apparent in just one class with him, but he has a super supportive, friendly, and an extremely patient approach that compliments his practical knowledge perfectly. He taught me that you aren't pushing yourself hard enough if you DON'T end up on the floor and so that's where I ended every session. The community in this gym is exactly what I've been looking for. It takes time as it does with all groups of people, but I was eventually taken in by a positive atmosphere of friendship and people who support others in their goals. The other members are the kind of goal oriented, driven people that have me getting to class early and hanging around after just so I can catch up and see how their weeks are going. I was extremely nervous due an ACL surgery about a year prior and being focused on strength over cardio. I have been training with Nate for just over a year now and he has drastically increased my physical and mental strength beyond what I could have ever imagined. He knows your limits better than you do, and takes the time to know where you're at each session, without judgement, so he can tailor the session to you.Besides just Nate, every single person is incredibly welcoming. Joe Phan: Great gym! Very attentive trainers and has a great vibe going on.

Sam Phillips: I started a trial back in November 2023 and have been coming back ever since. The coaches are all really great and the workouts are diverse and have helped get me back into shape. The people who come to f45 are also great and the community is warm. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Mark Prussing: F45 is the first group exercise class I’ve done after years of traditional weight lifting and I highly recommend it. The coaches at this location are very fun and help push you past plateaus offering nutritional advice as well as running fun classes. All my workout partners have been great too and with an easy time commitment of only 45min you’ll find yourself looking forward to coming instead of your workout being just another chore on the days to do list.

Erin Bosik: LOVE F45 Northgate. Coaches Rene and Hassan are always so supportive and push you in the best possible way. The workouts are fast-paced, but clear and easy to follow. The community vibe is incredible—super positive and welcoming. And I know I will always get a KILLER workout every time I go. Also: the variety of early morning class times is awesome.

Anissa Sangster: I first tried F45 back in early 2020 when studios were just starting to open up again. I moved away from the studio I used to go to, and hadn't been in a few years. I recently started going again and have been loving it. My favorite days are the strength and the hybrid strength and cardio days. I can tell I'm getting so much stronger even after just a few weeks of consistency, and the coaches are great at pushing you the extra bit. I can't wait to continue on my F45 journey and see how much stronger I can get!

Max Rose: 5 classes in and I'm really enjoying F45 and this location in particular. As others have said, the trainers are all extremely friendly and helpful. The workouts are really challenging in a good way and varied so that they are always interesting. I also feel that the price point compares very favorably to a lot of the other options out there. There is also a great selection of membership options so you aren't forced into a certain price point which I really appreciate

Ananya: I started at this gym in Oct 2023 as I was getting back into my fitness journey after a prolonged hiatus and I couldn’t have picked a better place to re-enter. I’d been to a few F45 gyms on trial and enjoyed my experience. This location was close to home, so I decided to give it a go! This gym truly has a noticeable sense of community and great workouts led by involved coaches. I’ve stayed consistent due to their fast and effective workouts and great community. This is truly a no judgement and positive vibes gym and I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Jessica Askew: I joined F45 in 2020 and it's been the only gym that I've ever enjoyed enough to go consistently, which makes it worth the price. I do not want to create my own workouts, and need a class schedule to get me to show up. This gym's bit is the emphasis on community building - extroverts will tend to make friends in any class, while introverts benefit from choosing the same class time with regularity. They do a heartrate monitor with membership for an element of gameification that I really liked before I accidentally sent my monitor through the wash. Highly recommend

Alina Zasimczuk: I started at F45 because I wanted to lose weight fast, but I have discovered that my goals go further than that. F45’s classes challenge me mentally and physically each day. On top of that their coaches really care about giving back to their community. They have hosted two donation drives in the couple of months I have attended. Great environment and fun workouts!! I highly recommend joining this team.

Nam Le: I'm really glad that this place exists. I came out of the pandemic out of shape and heavier than I've ever been before. After having a wakeup call from my doctor, I decided that I had to act immediately. It's been three months since I've joined. all though it's just the beginning, I'm proud of the work that I've put it and what I've accomplished. This place has an amazing sense of community, and they care! They did a stellar job hiring great coaches. Special shoutout to the 6am crew! Great jumpstart to my day.
