ABC German School Inc: what do users think?

Kira Schabram: .This year, he is a tempestuous three year old and has had a little bit of trouble with separation anxiety and also fitting in. I say this to highlight how attentive all his teachers have been to help him adjust. We have been able to meet about this and work on a plan together that has made us feel very supported as parents.Other things to note besides the amazing educators: classes are small and have two teachers each, school is available until the early or late afternoon

Shari Rust: We love ABC German school. My daughter is there for the 3rd year now, and she is enjoying every day. I also noticed a strong improvement on her German speaking skills. My daughter really likes the teachers and I like how they work with the kids and encourage them. It's a great community at ABC School.

Martin Otten: Both of our boys went to ABC German School and had a wonderful time.

Kristen Nelson: . Above all, I am especially thankful that the teachers have met our child where he is at - not rushing him but allowing him to develop at his own pace, with care and respect for the child.

Evelyn: Wonderful place! We are so happy with ABC German. Our children are thriving; they look forward to going to school every morning. Love how the teachers work on building confidence in the children. Lots of fun projects! And a warm lunch - perfect.

Jonas Jonsson: ABC German school is an amazing preschool that offers a high-quality bilingual education. My daughter learned fluent German in just three months thanks to the dedicated and professional teachers. They are all native speakers who are passionate about their job and have a lot of experience in early childhood education. The school also has a friendly and supportive environment that fosters the development of the whole child. I highly recommend ABC German school to any parent who wants to give their child a head start in learning a new language and culture.

Stephan Dietrich: We are sad to be leaving ABC German school at the end of this school year, it’s been a great experience from start to finish in the three years our child has been going there. The teachers are great and caring, but also challenge the kids where appropriate. Unfortunately they only currently offer through Pre-K, otherwise we would stay as long as we could.

Kelly Podlosky: I love this school. The teachers are wonderful- kind, fun, energetic, and they all clearly love their job. Nadja has done a great job with the school, there are programs that cater from babies to adults. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, with attention to what suits the children best. There are tiny sinks at their level to wash their hands, and a communal table where they get to sit together for lunch. You do not have to be a native speaker for your child to attend this school- neither my husband or I speak the language, but our girls are learning it-what a gift to give your child!

Nicole Colraine: We love this school! The teachers here are amazing. They have a lot of experience and are kind and empathetic. They always have fun and engaging activities for the kids. They offer adult classes as well for those learning German.

Susanna N. Kanther-Raz: ! The educators/teachers are kind, creative, sophisticated, and compassionate and show respect for all the children while maintaining their professionalism and teaching goals. The bilingual Kindergarten program is intimate, with tailored, creative, learning experiences for the children, that make it truly special and unique. There is good communication/engagement from the school if an issue with a child

A M: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWonderful preschool for anyone who is looking for language immersion and high-quality early learning. Our 2 kids attended from 2-5 years old and every year was a cherished and special experience. Full of art, music,, outdoor activity,, culture and socialization. We would do it all again in a heartbeat! Very highly recommended!

Natascha Karlova: Wonderful, caring staff ; great community ; well-loved by my child - especially the songs!

Harriet Dempsey: Excellent native german speaking teachers who care about children. Active warm community with inclusive family activities.

Cornelia Bergelt: Both my kids attended ABC German School for multiple years and I could not have been happier with the care and love the teachers gave them. I particularly liked that the school lets the kids be kids with plenty of fun and play time, but still teaches them everything necessary to be prepared for Kindergarten.

Shawn Nickerson: My son has attended ABC for the past 2 years, and we have had nothing but a positive experiences. The teachers are dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of each child, as well as a constructive learning time. Everything from having extra changes of clothes, to music lesson time, to field trips, as well as healthy chef prepared food everyday, all of these things and more make it a place I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Kanaydian Music's Definition: My husband attends this school. It’s way better than taking English prep at a university. If you’re an international student needing to upgrade your English prior to your program, it’s a cheaper and more friendly option. They go above and beyond to see you succeed. I’m really happy my husband is going here. Before he was here, he was in a school that only had one on one classes and they charged so much. Kaplan International Languages - Seattle: what do users think?

Dasad 00: Идеальный.

Miguel Angel Escobar Garcia: I studied in kaplan for 5 months, and it is the best experience I have ever lived. Everyone there is so kind, that makes you feel like you were in home. All the teachers are very professionals and the classes were excellent.

General Assembly Seattle: what do users think?

Marcel N: I've just taken intro classes in my spare time over a couple years. Love the business model that General Assembly has! The intro classes are very in depth for a short session. I just came from the cannabis panel they hosted and I'm shocked nobody took advantage of this profession event! When I finish my college degree, I'd very much like to take on the full classes at GA

Anastasia Tavare: free info sessions to get to know the curriculum and people there. I wasn't disappointed at all. Check out their info session or networking events, even if you don't think you need to attend the classes they offer. Honestly, anyone can get at least something out of any event the GA puts on. Get your learning on and check out an event!!!

Helen Ell Tran: They have free introduction to classes at night time and hosted the Google Sprint here. It was great.

Altstadt Bierhalle & Brathaus: what do users think?

Terry Lynn Massey: A new place in town! I was skeptical at first because Google very much wants us to believe that this place serves sauerkraut and bratwurst, and we came in to find a sports bar with the usual list of burgers and salads and things... But firstly, we were spoiled rotten by our server and second of all, the food was in point. The blue cheese burger was perfectly seared and balanced in flavour, which is really tough to achieve given that strong cheese situation. The fries were great, did what they needed to do to stop up the burger jus. We tried the smokey/savoury non-alcoholic cocktail and it was a fun adventure that I'd recommend if you want something sagey/savoury, but you don't need alcohol.I have also overheard that if you bring in a little potted plant there might be some kind of reward? Maybe a free drink? We are visiting from Vancouver so we don't have the opportunity, but if you're from Seattle and are looking for a cozy new pub, it may be worth a shot!

Sean Kearney (The Restaurant Warehouse): Always a pleasure to do business with Altstadt Bierhalle & Brathaus.

A J: . Food and drinking seemingly appear magically. Sausage, schnitzel and sauerkraut, oh my! Be prepared to get carded at the door. Close to stadiums, so Sounders, Seahawks and Mariners fan stop by this busy beerhall. First come, first served.

Max Lawson: Great beer hall for both food and drink. The menu is great and offers lot of delicious German food, and there's a large beer selection which you can also get served in Steins.

Great Dog Obedience School: what do users think?

Chelsea Stevenson: love Great Dog. The staff are so friendly and our dog is so excited when we get there. Recommend daycare and training.

Kirk Gomez: If I could give more stars I would 10 times over! I brought my sister's pit bull that had some aggressive behavior that forced us to decide if we could keep the dog or not. We've tried other trainers with little to no success or change in behavior until we brought him to see Judy. She was extremely knowledgeable. Her calm demeaner and calculated observation was evident right away and we just knew we were in expert hands. Within the first session we saw a complete turnaround in behavior. I believe she saved our dog's life because we were desperate and the risk was too great to keep him. Since then our puppy has been way more manageable, calmer, and confident. We can walk him without having our arm yanked out of the socket. Judy is a miracle worker. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Lois Mustonen: Wonderful staff who love your dog

Robin Booth: Love this place , We held a dog adoption event there !

Matt Shepard: I have taken multiple dogs here and can't recommend them enough. The staff is supportive and knows what they are doing. My dog buddy was very reactive, and they helped us get him to a much better state and prepared us to help him succeed. We also currently have a puppy in classes and she is learning her manners.

Carolyn Billings: Great Dog is a special place. The staff is wonderful. They’re dog lovers with the skills and knowledge to make sure the dogs are safe, happy and tired. We use almost all of their services with confidence. Judy has created a great environment and we’re grateful that we can rely on her expertise.

Camilo Gómez: Puppy classes with Emily are great! Our puppy loves them and it's a good way to give her good exercise while learning about training

Ross Noll: Great caring staff

Natanya Auerbach: We've been bringing our dog to Great Dog for a couple years for regular daycare and boarding, and our dog is happy and well cared for while she's there!

Shannon Kelleher: Such a great place. My dog pulls me in there and is reluctant to leave. The staff is friendly and really care about the health, safety and personalities of their clients.

Seattle Capoeira Center: what do users think?

Daniel Rempel-White: Seattle Capoeira Center is a great place to learn Capoeira with very good instructors who can teach all ages. From my time when I attended Seattle Capoeira Center as a kid, I was immediately taken in, and it felt like home. In my years of attending Seattle Capoeira Center, not only did I learn Capoeira, I also learned life lessons. I was taught discipline, respect, and hard work. These things have helped me throughout life, even after stopping Capoeira. Overall, I am grateful for Capoeira and the Seattle Capoeira Center for the positive impact it had on my life, and I would 100% suggest you take a couple of lessons at the Seattle Capoeira Center.

Kendell Warner: Our kiddo has been going to the center for about a year and it's had a monumental impact on his confidence and awareness of community. Mestre Syed and the instructors are all phenomenal people from different walks of life who passionately care about the Capoeira lifestyle and it's positive effects on kids. This is a gem of a place and we absolutely love it!

Jana ffitch: A wonderful place to learn and play capoeira for kids and adults alike. I brought my 5 year old nephew to a kid's class recently and he was immediately welcomed and participating with the class right away. His mom brought him to the next class, but he fell asleep on the way there. When he woke up and realized he missed class he was heart broken. He couldn't wait to go back!

Hannah Tiên: This school and community is really what gives me quality of life in Seattle. I get to learn, be challenged, participate, train, relax, and also share my own gifts with everyone here. My life wouldn't be the same without this place and community 💞

Rodrigo Orzari: At the Seattle Capoeira Center, I've found the balance of community, workout, technique, and the music that makes you 'travel' from Seattle to Bahia-Brazil in my journey to become a better Angoleiro, one 'rasteira' at a time.

Aaron Ansel: Our kids have been attending lessons for almost 2 years and we couldn't be happier with the community of teachers and fellow students.

Paul Peterson: You will not regret taking a step into a class here. Here you will find friendship, a connection to Capoeira and it's rich culture, and find yourself becoming a healthier and happier person. If you're looking to feel like part of a community, I would recommend checking it out.

Frank Gallimore: One of the best capoeira schools I've ever been to. A great mix of skills, music, and fellowship. It's awesome.

Olga El: Nice people. Great workout. Welcoming to all while staying connected to capoeira’s roots in Black liberation.

Ali Taqi: Capoeira is one of those martial activities that has it all -- dance, aerobics, music, history, philosophy, culture, camaraderie, and self-defence. Thankfully for the Seattle community, Mestre Syed has built a world-class school for it and the only reason this has been possible is because he lives and breathes every aspect of it which becomes self-evident from the moment you meet him. Join up, you'll be just as amazed.

Nicole Tilson: The 3years I spent at the Seattle Capoeira Center were some of the richest years of my life. Mestre Mangangá engages the community of students in difficult subject matter - oppression, struggle, resistance, culture, privilege, humility, gratitude, respect, etc. etc. - in a way that is raw, challenging, and deeply inclusive. Your experience at the SCC may not be easy, but whatever happens, it will stay with you forever.

dhiraj masih-theberge: I enjoy every opportunity I get to train + play in the roda with Mestre Mangangá and my people at the Seattle Capoeira Center! They're a fun community with a fierce sense of honoring the school's lineage and a desire to responsibly carry the tradition forward. This is reflected in the group's adherence to the fundamentals of movement, music, and comportment in the roda. What results is an elegant expression of Capoeira Angola that is smooth and on point. I love it! Definitely worth checking out.

Rob Fredericksen: Consistently a terrific experience for my daughter who is 10 and has been hooked for the past 2 1/2 years! Excellent instructors who adapt to any age/experience level in the room.

Hilaria Gratol: We love the community! Our son has been going since the 2020 and has learned a ton of new skills from physical capoeira skills, musical and more importantly the mental discipline. It’s truly a community with diverse families and amazing staff with strong mentorship! Thank you all and Syed for creating a positive space for many families in Seattle.

Teddy Johnson: I’d been training capoeira for a loooooooong time, and when I moved to Seattle, I struggled to find a group to train with until I dropped in here. Mestre Mangangá is a wonderful human teaching authentic capoeira in an open and welcoming way. I thought I might show up once in awhile, but it looks like I’m hooked….

Ian Mosher: ———Original review:Seattle Capoeira Center is a beautiful, diverse, welcoming community that will challenge you to be your best both physically and personally.I have been a member for 6 months in which time I have learned new movements, and then used them in a confined space, begun to learn to play 4 new instruments, sung more in front of other people than I have in my life

Leandro Acordi: Wonderful place! Very attentive and professional team. Responsibility, commitment and care for people and the teaching of Capoeira Angola.
