Avalon Glassworks: what do users think?

Leanne McHugh: While in town visiting family we came across this amazing store . The owners were so friendly and helpful . We have bought glass around the world and their glass ranks up there with the best we have found . We purchased quite a few pieces and they look even better in our home than they did in the store . We will be a frequent buyer for sure .

Wendy Woldenberg: Not only do these talented artists make incredible pieces of ART, they contribute to the community beyond any expectation! These are amazing people, and I recommend them highly for your gifting and custom needs.

shelly burland: Quaint place that is worth the stop! - absolutely loved watching the glass blowing - I have several pieces that are amazing- the pumpkins they create are definitely a treasure!

Paul Lindemulder: Fantastic food, gave me 2 extra eggs. Door is a bit squeaky but probably wouldn’t of cared if wasn’t hung over. Parking was tough.

Gerard Porcello: Awesome place to see glassblowing in action and lots of variety.

Amanda Alonzo: The prices were high but still very cool looking stuff.

Dave Scoggin: Great small place where you can see glass being blown. Reasonably priced and will ship for the tourest crowd.

Allen Chen: I highly recommend Avalon Glassworks to anyone looking for something unique to showcase in their home or business, or a special gift for someone in their life. It has a huge selection of hand-blown glass pieces to choose from including decorative vases, bowls and ornaments. All of the pieces made are truly one-of-a-kind and will be enjoyed for years to come!

Seattle Glassblowing Studio: what do users think?

Lily: Did the 3 hour private lesson for my husband’s birthday and it was a blast! We loved the Netflix show Blown Away and wanted to try it out for ourselves. Our instructor Darrien was super informative and patient, and helped us make 5 custom pieces. He even made us a beautiful wavy bowl at the end! The front staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We have a newfound appreciation for the art of glassblowing!

Tammy Blount-Canavan: This was such a fun and inspiring experience and Joe was so patient - thank you!!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Perks Don: We came here for a hands on lesson and loved it. Our glassblower was a perfect teacher, who knew when to let us do, or to guide, or take over. My daughters had a great time. This studio made us happy and seriously respect the art.Visited on Weekday Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Not sure …

Elisha French: Fantastic family outing and activityVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Briar Rose: The environment was very inviting upon entering the store/shop. Staff were kind and open to discussion while I was waiting for my time to start on a two hour private lesson. They explained everything in detail from safety and use of the different tools to how to handle each piece. They did step by step on how long to keep the piece in the furnace and when to bring it out. The shaping of the pieces was done by the instructor, but I was still able to help during some of those points. Such a great experience and I do plan to come back when I can to do another piece.

D.R.: Yoshie Sugo was our masterful instructor. Everyone enjoyed our experience with her. Great studio, awesome teacher. Do it!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Rebecca Rose: My husband and I are long time fans of glass blowing and we’re obsessed with Netflix’s Blown Away so we had to book a session at Seattle’s glass blowing studio! Edgar was the artist that assisted us and did a great job, he’s super chill. We made 2 pieces and can’t wait to go back now that we have the hang of it. Love that they let you watch the other artist create pieces as well!

Eric Hann: I am very happy that I get to experience how to make the glass bowl. I am thankful for my instructor , Malcolm, for his patience and knowledge. Great experience for me!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Julie Feikes: Had a great experience with the blow your own glass class!

Gary Barnett: The oval amber table lamps with black veins arrived in PERFECT condition.  Extraordinary packing! The lamps themselves are lovely and fit their space perfectly and function as intended.Your selected bulbs are 'just right'.  They do not overpower the glass at full intensity.A stellar experience, and wonderful glass work, all the way from start to finish. Thank you so very much!

Sarah Brenner: Beautiful showroom!Beautiful glass!

Janica Naudé: Beautiful place. Must stop for tourists, definitely worth the money.Literally a WOW-moment around every corner. While your there join in on the workshop too - Very interesting and educational

Chad Clark: We were in town and looked this place up online. There was no disappointment when we visited. The pieces here are amazing.

Snow Zhou: I discovered this hidden gem when I was just walking by the neighborhood. The moment I stepped inside this place, it felt like I was transported to a world creativity. The diversity of art on display ensures that there's something for everyone. Whether you seek to add a unique and awe-inspiring piece to your collection or find the perfect gift that embodies both beauty and functionality, this studio will not disappoint. If you’re lucky, you might also get to see how an art piece is made on sight!

Laura Terrero González: Amazing work! You will find such amazing pieces of art. Sad because I couldn't see him work, it's better to call and get the info of when he is gonna work in the shop, so you will manage to learn how he does it.Everything in the shop is just incredible.

Diane Trifiro: We visited on our recent trip to Seattle and bought 2 platters. We had them shipped to Ohio. They arrived quickly in perfect condition. We will enjoy them for years to come! Thank you!

jay keron: The owner, Chirs, is a very talented glass artist! I so enjoy being able to watch him work. It's a place you have to visit if you are in Seattle.

Jaime Moo-Young: Glasshouse Studio is wonderful. We purchased a kitchen chandelier from them shortly after our move from Seattle to Denver a few years ago, and their team helped me pick the perfect one for our space and shipped it out safely packaged, with user-friendly mounting instructions. A couple of months ago, I was looking for another signature chandelier for our newly remodeled entryway and reached out to Glasshouse again on a whim. Thank goodness I did, because Alanna was able to help me put together a gorgeous 3-pendant ensemble that now hangs in our new space and makes me smile every time I see it. We worked together for weeks over text, sending photos and ideas back and forth, and I have never had a customer service experience more satisfying and fun. When one of the pendants arrived broken, she sent out a replacement piece immediately, no questions asked. Can’t say enough good things about this place and their team. If you are looking for a beautiful, unique lighting piece that is also a work of art, contact Glasshouse!

Pat Bening: to find the perfect match! Customer service and products are incomparable!!! Thank you!!'

Joseph Clay: We debated on whether or not we should purchase a glass sculpture during our trip to Seattle. After waiting a week, we are so glad that we did. The person went above and beyond in packing the sculpture to survive a trip home. Thank you so much!

John Patterson: Incredible service and product.

Riley Wessel: Beautiful, can't wait to come back!

Tammy Tsantilas: Bought several pieces here, very nice selection.
