However, Lunar Laundry accepted, washed, folded and returned our items back to us by the next day. The only discrepancy is that I think we received some clothing back that we did not initially turn-in.

It was open too, which might seem an odd thing to say, but I was let down by 2 other laundromats closer to Seattle that said they were open, but actually weren’t when I got to them. The staff at Lunar answered the phone too when I called to check they were open after the disappointment of the previous 2 places…thank you.

It wasn't until I was halfway through that I saw this sticker on the machines showing that you can pay through an app which I found pretty cool for the next time I come.There is street parking or free in the back, but it's a tight fit if you do that. On-street might be easier to be honest.

I forgot my cell phone on top of a washing machine and someone gave it to the staff and I went to ask if they would return it to me. Dennis X: The owner and their hardworking staff always prioritize cleanliness and making sure customers are happy, which is really cool. The machines are always in good shape, and the prices are fair. I totally recommend this place to local residents who need laundry done. Plus, the store has cameras all over the place, so it's super safe. They even have monitors for customers to keep an eye on things inside and outside the store. The place is always clean, the dryers work well, it's a nice atmosphere, and they have vending machines for snacks and laundry stuff. They also have restrooms for customers; you’ll need a code, and if they’re not around you’re SOL.Just a heads up, the parking lot is shared with other businesses like a salon, Mexican grocery store, bar, dispensary, gas station, and sometimes a food truck. So, there might not always be a lot of parking available.Since this place is getting more and more popular, I suggest getting there early to avoid any traffic, especially on weekends.Note: dryers are for customers who washed their clothes in the store only. And there’s only 6 available dryers that use card payment.

Coach Cara: The dryers are SO HOT!!! 30 minutes was somehow way too much time for a heavy load of sheets and towels. Crazy! Definitely start with 15 minutes and check in on them so you don’t waste $$ like I did!! I feel like they should have a warning on them…. They’re literally burning when you take them out more than any laundromat I experienced but hey at least they’re fast!!! Heads up the floor is pretty dirty and there’s no attendants cleaning or anything so try your best to make sure stuff doesn’t fall on the floor. Otherwise this place is fairly priced for the area and has nice new machines that work really well. Came on a weekday evening and it wasn’t that busy and there’s plenty of parking. Will be back!

Nicole Conley: I’ve been coming here for the past few months while my house is under renovation for their drop-off laundry service. $2/lb is a great price, the laundry always comes back in great shape and neatly folded. Even with large loads, they usually have it done next day if not same-day. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Tony Da-Tiger: This is #1 goto spot for getting stuff cleaned and they have the nicest machines that are some mega load thing like put every thing you own in one wash. No need to handle dirty change or find bills to get change. Even better it’s all done by card and it’s just awesome I have a card in my wallet right now so that way I can give it to someone who needs help with laundry kinda pay it forwarded but the staff are cool and I just really like this place and even better they have a taco truck out front that will rock your world with great food! There’s tvs inside to watch while waiting and eating. Even have a bathroom for customers and it’s all clean really well taking care of place not like other laundry places where people are sleeping in the dryers and scary!

One of the attendants while cleaning off and out the washing machines had a water bottle with a spout, spraying clean the dispenser openings. That is AWESOME!!! I do not like the fragrance left behind from scented products, but especially NOT the clumps of soap and downy left inside. So THANK YOU for that!!3 men were present and attentive to customer needs, but not overbearing like some places.Very helpful. Thank you!!!JulieP.S. Melissa Friis Akichine: Go there every few weeks. A total of three times now. The lady that works there when I have been there is extremely nice and helpful to someone like me that's been always spoiled with every lease, rental, mortgage with a fair drycleaner close by I used for all else. This place is very clean with a spotless private bathroom they kept locked when not in use. Makes it extremely convenient for lots of blankets or sleeping bags in their mega machines that are like five load size. Their washers and dryers are all always working and you pay by laundry mat card per load and per minute with drying. They have rolling laundry hampers customers are encouraged to use and large tables for folding ECT. It was a huge blessing in my life to find this place and I know it is liked enormously by Share/Wheel who gets their Laundry and blanket washings done their weekly and sometimes close to daily serving one of the many shelters nonstop. Look forward to doing my spring cleaning their next.
Christina Kang: Spent over 60$ to drop off two comforters for cleaning. They were returned still damp in spots, which leaves us with no comforter to use for the night, and nowhere to dry it at home, which is why we took it to a store in the first place. It also came back with some weird water/soap stains around the baffles of one of the comforters. The smell of the detergent is also way too strong, like it was not rinsed properly, maybe from overstuffing them into too small of a machine or something, causing the smell and the stains

I think it needs a bit more warmth to it, some comfort…more seating, there’s not much of it.The location is great, a lot of food and other stuff around. Brewery right down the way! At least my stuff can be left there while I have a beer and it’s safe.

The staff greeted me at the door, volunteered to help me select the best washer for it, where to get coins or an app to charge it, showed me their reversible dryer so it wouldn’t get all balled up!! Amazing service. Will drive any reasonable distance to get here again. I’m done with the grimy, unfriendly laundromat experiences. This is THE place.

Gregory Bowne: Very clean place. Edit: they have recently gotten newer machines that actually work. Sometimes pretty busy around mid day. The attendees usually helpful. Machines are coin / quarter only and they have several large machines both washers and dryers. Expect about $4-7 to wash and $1 to dry per load depends on what you have though. They have a lot of machines here vs some places the same size.

OoSnapp: Very clean and most of the machines worked. Going there as a single woman, wasn't too bad during the day. But their entrance way is kind of inconvenient on foot.
Michael Wheeler: Hate doing laundry!...But the place isn't all that bad.
Emily Stewart: Super clean store store and washers and dryers. Way more clean than the other laundromats in the area. Averages about 0.75 cents to about a 1.00 cheaper than other laundromats in this area. Overall a great little and hidden laundromat that I was pleasantly surprised to find. Definitely recommend

I live in a condo that has regular pickup from Helena's, and I sent in a pricey ski jacket I had bought on consignment to get some stains cleaned off from the previous owner. A few months later, I realized the jacket was missing. I called Helena's when I realized the dry cleaning tag with my name on it could have fallen off in my condo. I was afraid that after so much time had passed, they would have just assumed the jacket was lost forever and sold it or kept it.I was tremendously impressed to learn that they have a logging system for any clothes that get sent in but don't have a tag with the owner on it. It took them 30 seconds to look it up based on my description and find my jacket, and they sent it home later that day. Great customer experience!

Andrew Hess: This is the premium level of dry cleaning. I had a challenging bag picked up with very stained clothes. They look brand new, I can’t tell a thing was wrong. Very quick and timely service. I’m looking forward to the quality repairs I’ve known over the years with patches and such. Thanks for the awesome service!
