Brendan Hannemann: I contracted with Gaspar's to install a steel mantel into tile above my fireplace. This work was the last remaining item of a multi-month gas fireplace conversion, and the fireplace company would not take it on due to risk of cracking the tile. Gaspar's informed me of the risk as well, yet was willing to give it a try.Turns out, it was porcelain tile which is much harder/denser and takes a specialized diamond bit to drill into without cracking. The Gaspar's contractor inspected the tile, found the correct bit, and performed the work with high level of professionalism. He even brought a gimbaled laser level to make sure the 58" mantel was installed level.After completing the work we had some extra time, so the Gaspar's contractor offered to do some small jobs around the house which I could think of in the moment, without any extra cost. He even showed me how to do them next time. Super happy with the finished work, and excellent service!

Gail Longhi: I had a small job - replacing the wood steps up to my front porch. Friends suggested a private handyman, but I chose Gaspar's because I knew I could trust their work for quality and efficiency. I am so glad I did.Their employee, Chris Bucklin, was terrific. He came with the experience to know exactly what needed to be done, and had the tools and equipment to do it. He went right to work, and never stopped. He not only replaced the steps, but the stair supports that were rotten. He was careful to save the wood that could be saved, and paid attention to the details that finish a job, i.e. bonding and sanding, patching imperfections, and caulking, gluing and reinstalling what he had been able to save. He cleaned up everything at the end of the day, and later had it hauled away and dumped. And, on top of that, he was personable, showing me the work, providing explanations and answering my questions.Gaspar's, and Chris were great.I would use both of them again without reservation, for any job I needed done.

Don Kaufman: We have been using another cabinet provider for 10 years in our apartment buildings. I just went to 1st avenue over some service issues and they did the first installation yesterday. The cabinets themselves are slightly higher quality. The team came and did the install in one day versus the other company which took half day for the cabinets and half day for the countertops. Quoting was fast and accurate. Kitchen and laundry room remodel started and completed on time. Cost was within the original quote. Throughout the whole process, Chen was attentive to detail, considerate of our time, communicative, and thorough. Ultimately, we felt that he was just as invested in the project as we were. Christine and Cici gave us a fair price, and was ready to start work the same week. Their crew came to work all day Saturday to have our project finished before Christmas. They were communicative throughout the project, messaging us every morning to let us know when their crew would arrive. Their work was excellent, and they were very respectful of our space and cleaned up their work at the end of each day. Even one of his crew asked us to work an extra hour one evening after everyone had left just to set up the morning crew in a better position for the following day. We even asked for additional work last minute at the end of our project and they were happy to accommodate us. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with them. We've had a lot of work done on our home under different people, and I wish I could say those experiences were as positive as what we had with ABS Seattle. Joan Williams: This was the best kitchen remodel experience we could have hoped for. We replaced our kitchen countertop and got a tile backsplash. CiCi was extremely responsive and when I visited the showroom to look at the samples, I was scheduled and no one else was in the showroom and we were both wearing masks. Very clean! Not a huge selection, but that is just fine for the value. We were able to schedule exactly the dates that we wanted which were only a few weeks out. The countertop demo and installation was extremely fast and clean--took only about 3 hours. I was very impressed by Feng and his partner, working quickly and efficiently and always wearing a mask. The next day, Sing, came in to do the tile and worked tirelessly all day. They transformed our kitchen in just over two days! We're very happy with the flawless process and very quick turnaround time.

Cici was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. The installers were very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the end product and grateful that we went through Cici through the process. Our kitchen looks much better than we had envisioned when we started the process thanks to ABS and their wonderful staff.

Liz Koser: We placed our kitchen cabinet order in early March before Seattle businesses started to shut down due to COVID-19. We were going to pickup on March 30, but things were starting to change. ABS let us pickup earlier, so we could get our cabinets before the shutdown. In that time, we also decided to go with a white countertop instead of grey. Christine was very helpful in coordinating and helping us make changes to our order. In the end, we are happy with our cabinets and countertop. Their help was greatly appreciated.

Deanna Merkatz: I was referred to ABS for a kitchen remodel by a contractor friend that has used them several times for his kitchen projects. It was the easiest and most straight forward experience I had during my house remodel project. My husband and I walked in with measurements of our kitchen project, met Christine and she in just a few minutes had a full design ready. It was incredibly quick which is not the typical experience! There are enough choices that are trendy so it wasn't over whelming. The choices were the most up to date styles. I love the way they look and everything was perfect with measurements for my appliances. They only do standard cabinet sizes what is makes it so affordable. Everything was on time, they were great at scheduling and I would highly recommend them and use them again.

I’m quite picky, and had lots of questions and feedback, but they handled it very well. Divven was great at customer service and planning. Rick was our project manager, and proved to be very personable and detail-oriented. Our kitchen turned out very nicely despite our very old and out of level house, and we often walk in and think wow! What a great kitchen! The project was on time and on budget, which I think speaks to the care that Built Square brings to their projects. I hope we can work with them again.

Nathan was so organized - much more than what we expected from a typical contractor. We had a standing weekly meeting with a printed agenda; he was always prepared for the meeting and knew the details of what we needed to cover; billing was clear and openly discussed; we had a printed calendar with the job stages on it; he provides a Google sheet to be sure finishes are selected and clear to everyone. Of course, mistakes are bound to happen during a large, 6-month job - and Nathan handled them with poise. He was honest and fair and clearly explained options for solutions.As important was Enrique, who was our lead on a daily basis on our job. Enrique was on-time, pleasant, the perfect amount of chatty, and completed work with the highest quality I could have imagined. He was kind to our dog and daughter and always beyond respectful of our home. Made the process super easy and had no issue with me doing the demo and basic remodel except for the cabinets and countertops. They cut the granite on site to ensure accuracy. I recently had my soft close roller stop soft closing, gave a call and $10 later I have my new roller set in hand. No fuss what so ever. I would highly recommend them.
