Dani Patnade: I've been seeing the same doctor here now for 5 years ever since I was first diagnosed. For the last 3 years I haven't had any relapses or progression. But I know that when I need help all I have to do is call or even send an email to my care team and I usually hear back within a few hours to 24hrs. The staff is all friendly and really know how to make patients feel at ease and taken care of. My doctor always makes it a priority to include my family in on what's going on. They all go above and beyond for all their patients. I carry extra copies of my doctor's card because you never know when you will meet a stranger who is in need of a good MS doctor.

After a few months of this, and my son continuing to get worse instead of better, I realized my son’s treatment team needed a ‘Specialist of Specialist.’ I had worked with Dr. Joshua Bess before in a professional capacity, and I had never forgotten the care he showed for his patients; and so, when I reached out about my son to his office, and Dr. Bess recommended Dr. Adams, based off of what I had shared, I had no problem trust falling into it. And Dr. Adams has indeed been that ‘one ring to bind them’—but in a good way! He has done an incredible job of looking at the complexity of my son’s medical history, the opinions of current providers and their treatment options; and through his own in-depth evaluation, constructed a much better comprehensive understanding of what was taking place. Since having Dr. Adams come on board, the care provided by other professionals has been in better concert to the bigger picture of my son’s health. I am deeply grateful for the work Dr. Adams has done with my son, his keen focus on family integrated care, as well as the follow-up care he has and continues to provide.

Sharon “Believes”: I visited this office for the first time recently. I have to say I was a little worried because of the reviews....Here is my experience: I have an adult dependent disabled son. He not only has a cognitive delay and high medical needs but also is going through a very difficult time right now with anxiety. I called to explain this to staff and got the best response. They were so very accommodating and compassionate.! The doctor even called the house a day prior to do the initial questions over the phone so my son would spend minimal time in office. Then they also said that I shouldn't stress if I had to cancel if Josh wasnt doing well that day. I cant tell you how much they put me at ease. So this far my experience is completely different then some of the other reviews.

wil mer425: I just met with Dr. Patricia Oaks at the UWMC Neurology Clinic today. I am so impressed at the high degree of professionalism and compassion by The staff and doctor. The staff was welcoming and put me right at ease. My wait was minimal. Dr. Oaks was so efficient and thoughrough. I truly felt the appointment was well with the 3 month wait. I am so impressed how the whole UWMC clinics work together so well as a team to help the whole person. I am looking forward to finding some answers to the issues I have had for more than a year. Highly recommended the staff at UWMC.
