Canlis: what do users think?

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.

Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

Girish Shekhar: On my first visit to a fine dining establishment in Seattle, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Despite the set menu, the staff graciously accommodated our requests, showcasing their dedication to personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the valet and welcoming staff set the tone for a memorable evening. Each expertly prepared course was a masterful fusion of rich flavors, with every bite a testament to the chef's culinary artistry. The entire experience was a symphony of warmth, elegance, and gastronomic delight.Note : This is not a traditional dining experience in Seattle so make sure to dress up with suits, sport coat and dresses.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian set menu.

Chris Roach: Absolutely incredible dining experience. Was fortunate enough to attend a dinner lecture series in the upstairs section. Some of the most delicate and delicious cuisine I have ever had. Most amazing salmon I have ever tasted.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very considerate and careful to ask about dietary restrictions and offered vegetarian/options for their set menu

James Edward:

Lark Restaurant: what do users think?

Danielle Minick: Not the typical fine dining experience you expect for the posted website/pictures. The waiter did not ask about any diet restrictions, we have a severe nut allergy. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, pretty. The food was good, nothing that "blew our minds" and their four course menu is the best option. It was our anniversary dinner and they did give us a complimentary celebratory drink, which was nice but one of us doesn't drink alcohol; another point of asking questions can be good service.

Linda McLoon: Lark is a small fine dining restaurant in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It is beautiful inside, with lots of wood. The atmosphere, as you might expect at a restaurant from a James Beard award winning chef, is serene and upscale. The craft cocktails didn't appeal to me. I opted for a glass of rose wine. At $17, it is not cheap. My companion and I both had the hamachi crudo. He asked for it to be spiced up, and they gladly accommodated his request. The fish was lovely, and the dish was very citrusy with preserved lemon, lemon oil, and green olives. It is served with thinly sliced fennel in the lemony dressy. For my taste, I found it a bit too sour, and it definitely overpowered the delicate fish. I ate the fennel and lemon as a salad, followed by the fish separately, and this gave the hamachi a chance to shine. My companion was very happy with the elk dish, which was served as a chop and as a crepinette. The taste I had of the elk was surprisingly tough unfortunately.I opted for the agnolotti. It was served with fresh spring peas, fiddlehead ferns, favs beans, and credenza cheese. Needless to say, the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were the essence of spring. It was sauced in a very butter-rich, highly acidic sauce. While it was fine, I found it way too sour and it took away from the other ingredients. It was a pity, as I generally love "sour".The desserts we had were sensational. I had the rhubarb galette. The pastry was flaky, and the filling was just the right level of sweetness. The blood orange sorbet was fantastic. I would love more of that. The prices are steep. My pasta was the least expensive item on the menu, at $38. The portion size was fine, but by no means big. The elk chop was $56. The hamachi was $26. You expect this at a "fine-dining" restaurant, but it is definitely on the more expensive side. The service was impeccable. The interior is beautiful. The food was fine, but not at the highest level I would expect from a restaurant with this price point.

Patrick Conlan: One of Seattle's best restaurants. Hyperlocal, hyperseasonal, and always tasty, beautifully presented, and interesting. My Spring Leaves were dressed with a citrus vinaigrette, my Agnolotti were cheesy, creamy and softly chewy, and the fiddlehead ferns were tender and fresh.Great service in a beautiful space as well.

Alyssa Gonzalez: and the Oaxacan torte.I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem. She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today. I really want to tell her thanks for the incredible experience!

Charles H: Amazing dinner here with friends. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The only complaint was the emmer bucatini my friend's fiance had didn't have much ragu and was all pasta.Otherwise the "chowder", bread service, elk loin, and duck leg my wife and I had were excellent. Cocktails were tasty as well and definitely recommend the bag pipes in Barbados.

Yoshi W: We went to Lark for the first time for our 18th anniversary. Even though it was a very cold, snowy night, we really wanted to stick to the exact date to celebrate. Many restaurants in Seattle these days are kind of packed with tables, narrow, and very noisy. We were hoping to get a quiet booth, and we did. The spacious inside, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, very tasty food and friendly workers, made everything perfect. We are quite satisfied and happy. Thank you!

Tom Elwood: The lobster bisque poured tableside looked beautiful but didn't get rave reviews from the 3 who had it. The elk was incredibly tender and umami-delicious and flavorful, and the roasted cabbage and kasha

Brian G.: to share and each one was excellent. For our entrees we had the bucatini and the crab bisque and shared those as well. Loved them all! The smoked beets and the crab bisque were our two favorites of the bunch.

Kimberly Pham: it will leave a dent in your wallet. If you don't want a set tasting menu you will need to ask for the bar area. They recently reopened after two years of Covid shutting down so go support them, folks.

I absolutely adore every person I've come into contact with at the paragon, they are kind, sweet, accommodating AF, knowledgeable, and everything anybody would ever want in a staffThe food is stupid good. I love th Delicata salad with some kind of roasted lettuce, it's crisp and tangy and delicious. I love their soups, I love the fish, I love the specials, I love the desserts. Westward: what do users think?

Andrew Bell: After spending our first date and many other special dinners at Westward, we had our wedding reception under the outside tent for 25 people. The view, staff, and especially the food are the best in the city. Our guests have all said it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had. They took care of every detail to make it a perfect night, just like every other time we have dined there. It is our favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to go back!

Ileana L.: Order the tower. It is top

Chad Horn: We were offered indoor or outdoor seating. We chose outdoor and had a tent to ourselves.Service was top notch - very helpful and chillOysters were varied and deliciousThe halibut met all expectations. The place is pricy but worth it for the right occasion, which this was.All in all a very good experience

Daniel Kim (Danny): One of our favorite places to take our guests and probably one of the best places to get oysters. We love getting the crispy potatoes, having a glass of wine and I always make sure to get an order of the sourdough bread with the salted butter. Great outdoor seating for the warmer sunnier times and love being on Lake Union looking at the Seattle City skyline across the water. Always a fun time at Westward!

Spinasse: what do users think?

Denise Tanaka: I have recently had the pleasure of dining there and must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. From the moment we were greeted by our server, who was impressively friendly without being artificial, to his insightful explanations about the nuances of Piemonte cuisine against other part os Italy, the service truly stood out.Although the tarjarin, their specialty, wasn't quite to my taste due to my personal preference for thicker and al dente pastas, the nettle risotto was absolutely divine, elevating my dining experience we never had such delicious risotto before. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. While the milk pork was a bit unconventional and leaned towards the sweeter side, it didn't quite hit the mark for me but it was wellk prepared. I'm intrigued to explore their dessert offerings on a future visit, as there was unfortunately no room left after our satisfying meal. The ambience, with its tasteful Italian-inspired decor, transported us to Italy, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. All in all, it was a delightful dining experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for another culinary adventure at Spinasse.

Altura: what do users think?

C. L.: There aren't enough good things that can be said about Altura. From the moment you enter the restaurant and the hosts greet you with a warm and friendly hello and ask to hang your coats. To sitting down and having a small hot towel brought to clean your hands. A delicious aperitif brought to start your night. Every interaction is polite, attentive and professional. We have gone to Altura for my birthday two years in a row. We will be going again for our anniversary in two months. Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. The same can be said for the drinks, wine and dessert.A perfect place for a special night out. They've made my birthday feel really special each time and we're so happy every time we visit. Truly something to experience for yourself.Thank you to all the Altura staff, we can't wait to see you all again soon.- Tina & Kris

Coonoor Behal: This place is out of this world, I can't believe I don't see it on more "Best of" lists for Seattle. I prioritize "event meals" in my life and this is easily in my top 10 ever. Was fortunate enough to get off the waitlist and take my parents there for Christmas Eve and it was a delight start to finish. Food is just jaw-droppingly moan-worthy, every single item took our breath away. I got the wine pairing and loved it...they for sure snuck in some extra wines for me too but didn't make a big deal out of it! Service is lovely and clearly professional but also relaxed. Love the look of the place too, more like a taverna rather than a stiff, white table cloth place you'd imagine at this price point and quality.

How To Cook A Wolf: what do users think?

Mackenzie Brisben: We came here for Seattle Restaurant Week recently and had the following:Marinated Olives: perfectionSteak Tartare: I loved it but my two friends didn’t like it at allAhi Tuna: to me was super bland and almost tasted watery? I don’t know how to describe it. Only one of the three of us liked this item.Kale Salad: amazingAgnolotti: delicious but small portionsPaccheri Nero: was made celiac friendly for us which was awesome. It was meh though due to the sauce being understated.Steak: the potatoes and broccolini with the steak were perfect however the steak was confusing because some bites were amazing while others were tough and under seasoned. I had it medium rare. Huge potion though!Pistachio Gelato with Shortbread Cookie: delicious and generous serving size.Cheesecake: kind of seemed like it came from Whole Foods which I’m sure it didn’t but just not that exciting and pretty small for portion size compared to the gelato.Overall it definitely was not bad food but adding 1-2 glasses of wine to this $65 prefix menu landed us at $122 each and it was super not worth that. Sorry! I found it disappointing.Dietary restrictions: Can do celiac friendly foods

Leanne Mustafa: it was pricey, like $200ish, but that's with multiple drinks too. Over all it was a delight from start to finish. Amazing food, great pace, wonderful service we're coming again with friends 😍😍😍

Randy: Quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Laura: Visited on Valentine's Day and ordered from their Wolfie Valentine prix fixe menu, which included four shared appetizers, choice of pasta, choice of main, and choice of dessert.Steak tartare - it was okay, but pretty bland and under seasoned. Kind of had to rely and the salt flakes on the cracker for seasoning. I also wish the crackers were thicker, or that there were a couple more of them.Ahi crudo - pretty good, sauces were tasty and well balanced!Delicata squash with goat cheese - this was my favorite of the appetizers. Well cooked, slightly caramelized.Burrata with beets & kumquat - beets and kumquats were sweet and sour, which complemented the creamy burrata really well.Duck pappardelle - pasta was overcooked, so it was kind of mushy. Sauce was a bit plain, but duck was nice and tender.Black trumpet tagliatelle - well cooked, and tasty! Huge portion, we ended up taking some home to save space for the main course.Scallops - sadly also overcooked, so they were too chewy. I thought the fresh blood orange slices were a bit overpowering, but enjoyed all the other components.Zabuton - well cooked, but the cut was fattier than we expected. And more weight from the nduja butter on top. It needed something more to counterbalance the fattiness. The rutabaga puree was unpleasantly bitter.Almond frangipane torte - by far our favorite course! Delicious mix of flavors and textures. Only regret was ordering soebetto instead of two tortes.Service - overall very attentive, friendly service. The check in was not quite ideal, since there's no space inside to wait for your reservation, so we had to wait outside in the cold.Ambiance - cozy and romantic.

Goldfinch Tavern: what do users think?

Jessica Robinson: My friend and I were in town for a conference and wanted to have a nice dinner on our last night. We chose goldfinch which was just a hop, skip, and a jump from our hotel. We made reservations and got a seat by the window. The food and drinks were amazing and the waitstaff was even more amazing! They noticed me struggling to take a selfie with me and my friend and offered to take a picture for us. Our water glasses were never more than half empty, and everything was worth the price we paid. They also asked if we had any dietary restrictions when we ordered. Will definitely be going back if I’m ever in Seattle for a special occasion.

This restaurant is nothing less of fantastic.Service:The moment you walk in the door, the staff is incredibly during your entire dining experience and want to make sure you are taken care of- and I even sat at the bar.Food: Everything I ate was not only flavorful but also was well selected and paired together. This restaurant gives me a farm to table type vibe with their menu and I was nothing but impressed.Atmosphere: Perfect amount of class and edge.Dietary restrictions: Dairy/Gluten Free options

JuneBaby: what do users think?

Robert Williams: Outstanding experience. Perfect setting for a intimate private gathering.Highly recommend JuneBaby!Vegetarian options: There are lots of fresh vegetables on the menu.

Kennisha Payne: I don’t know where to start. My friends and I ate here last night and OMG 10/10!! The food, the service, the atmosphere. We all left saying this was the best dining experience we’ve all had. We ordered the biscuits, pimento cheese, fried oysters, smoked carrots, catfish, oxtail, gumbo, Mac and cheese, carrot cake, and peach turnover. This was some of the best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a very long. Everything was cooked to perfection and you could taste every element that was paired with each dish. I wish we would’ve took photos but we ate and left no crumbs just like they did preparing our food. I could go on and on but I will end with this, if you haven’t put June Baby on your list to try, you need to and while you’re at it put it at the top.

Bateau: what do users think?

Marina: Been here twice for special occasions. Most recent was a birthday dinner with four people. The atmosphere is very nice and multiple servers per table ensured the drinks kept coming. They work on a whole animal approach meaning the cuts of meat run out as the dinner service continues. So if you want all the cut options make your reservation for early dinner. This is a fun place for special occasions.

Sarah G: I have sensory issues and they accommodated my needs, which is a huge deal. We got put in an area that was a little more private and I appreciate them taking the time to do that. Food was excellent and well thought out, steaks were cooked to perfection, and wine choices were superb. We went for my mothers birthday and they gave her a small candle and a hand written card. Staff wished her happy birthday and were nothing but kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. There were so many thoughtful touches to our meal it made the night truly special. This is hands down the best restaurants in Seattle.

SY Lee: . A delightful meal. I’d suggest making reservations in advance. They also have a tasting menu for $125 pp, might check that out for future.

Stavros Macrakis: that the tasting menu gives you two different cuts, one more tender, the other more tasty.Surprise! The non steak dishes were as good as the steak! Nice variety, nicely composed. They only have four red wines by the glass -- I wish they'd have more -- but I've got to say that the Cahors was one of the best I've ever had, and the St Émilion was also good.

Stanislav Gates: From hostess, to waiters and waitresses, to the kitchen staff, everyone went far and beyond to meet our special needs at the table. The food exceeded our already high expectations. Lamb, steak were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sides were very generous and worth the price.Expect to spend around 140 USD per person with couple drinks each, so it should be considered for special occasions, since it is not on the cheap side. With that said, it was worth every penny, and my friends and I are looking forward to coming back here again in the future.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant has gluten free menu per requests.

Terra Plata: what do users think?

Felicity Watson: Beautiful food, beautiful service!I went here for my 21st birthday and it was amazing. It’s a more communal type restaurant where the whole table orders for each other so we all got a taste. I would definitely recommend the risotto it was perfect! The view was so pretty but the tables were a little cramped in.

Nikki Ryu Kitagaito: This is my go to place for a nice dinner / evening out. Terra Plata is fabulous food and the outdoor patio is such a great vibe. The food never disappoints!I love how they have options to "purchase a meal for a family in need" - just shows their values are so community focused. In summer they also have special drinks that can support certain causes which is always a must do.Check them out the next time you're looking to take someone out to a nice PNW meal, or just a treat yourself type of day!

Metropolitan Grill: what do users think?

Chris Blackburn (blackbuc911): Decided to have a “treat myself” night and have A5 wagyu for the first time. I wish I remembered my server’s name, but they were incredible in answering all of my questions and provided great explanations and suggestions on what I could choose from.I had 2 cocktails, but the A5 Old Fashioned was the stand outThe food was perfect. Slight mishap with my how my steak’s cooked, but was immediately recognized and corrected by the staff. The quality of the meat was like no other and I feel provided me much more than I expected from the experience. To end, I had the Crème brûlée, which was the perfect ending to the meal experience.100/10! I will be back

Spike: An absolutely amazing experience. Easily in the contending for the best steaks in the city, great service, and a luxury feeling atmosphere that does not feel cramped or overloaded. We had 4 different steaks that were all fantastic in their own unique ways. One of the steaks was undercooked a bit from what was ordered while another was overcooked from what was ordered, but they were all very good regardless. The sides were hilariously large and a delicious complement to the slabs of meat that we had.Our server was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed their service. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars for service is an interaction that we had with one of the sommelier. One of the women in our party had ordered a bottle of wine, it was a wine she was excited about finding on the menu. Instead of the sommelier having her taste it, he had her husband taste it, who could do well enough to ensure it wasn't spoiled, but that is not the point.

Ashlee Hathaway: We had a delicious dinner at the Met. We started with the steak medallions which were seasoned great with a generous portion especially for two people. For dinner I got the lobster which was huge and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were delicious, as well. My husband got a steak combo which came with a filet, American wagyu filet and a Japanese ohmi filet, all 4 oz. It was a great way to taste the difference of all three and was a ton of food. Came with choice of side.We got a birthday creme brulee for dessert which was a great finish.Great scotch and whiskey selection and a huge wine menu. They have valet parking but since it was Sunday we took advantage of free street parking. Reservation was easy to make online. Love our dinner.

The Cheesecake Factory: what do users think?

여민지: The store is very spacious! It's a little noisy, but it doesn't affect the meal in any way.The food was really deliciousIt's a shame that I only visited once because it was cheaper than I thought. My recommendation is the avocado taco!!

eddy wong: If you’re a border resident from British Columbia this place is a must on your travel list. It’s iconic for their cheesecake window display and variety.Everytime I come here it’s nostalgic and the memories are great. Bread to start was warm. If you like meat and potatoes, that Shepard pie can feed 3 people I kid you not. It was our first time ordering it. I had to help my dad eat some of it and we still took 30% of it home. The Cuban sandwich is delicious. The avocado spring rolls are plump. The Chicken Madeira was delicious with the wine sauce, glad I picked that one.Now the cakes oh man…If you’re a tiramisu fan you gotta try the one here. It felt elegant and did not disappoint. The birthday cake was very aesthetic and had a great presentation. It felt like a bday cake with all the colors and sprinkles. I never had the pineapple upside down cake and it tasted wonderful.Great family friendly restaurant. But my fellow Canadians I must warn you it is pricey here. If you’re on a budget this wouldn’t be the place for you. But they do have happy hour. Dessert is a must because we don’t have this restaurant back home in Vancouver bc.Service is a hit or miss. Our server 2 days ago wasn’t too pleasant. It seemed like she was having a bad day and wanted to leave work early. All the servers huddled up behind our booth bickering loudly too. Times have changed I guess…Can’t even have good service for a $300 dinner before tip for 4 people. Still a positive experience, for a Tuesday slow night. We are still vacationing in town. Hopefully we can have a better server today or tomorrow.Parking: We parked next door in a parking garage

Les Lautengco: The food is great eaten in or delivered. It may seem a little pricey, but it is well worth it for the flavors and quality ingredients used. If you like spice, the jambalaya is a great option. The shrimp and grits was suprisingly flavorful and my favorite. Elliott's Oyster House: what do users think?

Jennifer Park: and were initially denied a table because the hostess said there was a 40-45min wait even though I saw few empty tables

FoodAddict: We had a delightful experience at Elliott’s Oyster house. Our server, William, was attentive and prompt. Crab cake, clam chowder, halibut, pan fried pacific oysters, scallops and seafood pasta were all delicious. An Automatic 20% service charge was included on our check for a party of 4.“A service charge of 20% is included on your check. Tips are not expected but graciously accepted and retained by your server. Commissions are paid to our teams as a part of their compensation. The 20% service charge is 100% retained by the company. WA state law requires that we collect tax on all service charges.”

Michael Mahoney: Good food BUT sure wasn’t worth the price. Even though the food was good it was very pricey. Our server was Luna and she was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. Guided us through the menu and all the offerings. Our bill for drinks and food was $250 they tack on 20% to the bill it doesn’t go to the servers. The servers are on commission so I really hope they have a good base salary. Would we go again no because of the price and the food.

Art of the Table: what do users think?

Jesse C: Art of the Table is a wonderful experience. Their menu chances every few weeks so you'll always get new food. They can accommodate for vegan or any other dietary restrictions too. Their vegan tasting menu I had was the best meal of my life. My partner had the regular omni meal with two upgraded courses, one with caviar and one with Wagyu tenderloin that she also loved as. They offer an excellent wine pairing as well. The atmosphere is great. Cozy, not too loud or quiet, and the staff is very friendly and incredible knowledgeable about every dish.Vegetarian options: Every dish can be made vegan or vegetarianDietary restrictions: Every meal can be modified for any dietary restrictions.

RT Shaw: . As much as I would have loved to tell you the details of each plate, it was overwhelming and just flat out amazing. Depth of flavor, crunchy, soft, chewy, hot, cold, spicy, comfort, refined, and on and on and on...amazing food. It's all prepared at the open kitchen if you want to marvel at their chef prep skills too. For those looking for a night out with not only quality food, but also some of the best service ever. Must experience.Vegetarian options: Tell them your dietary restrictions and they will accommodateDietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian, no red meat, allergies, preferences

Hyunseok Gil: I was extremely impressed with the fish dishes that the restaurant offered as alternatives for those my family couldn't consume. The quality of the pre-main courses was so high that, by comparison, the main dish appeared somewhat average. Both the service and the food reflected fine dining standards, yet the ambiance was comfortably relaxed, which made our meal more enjoyable. The only drawback was the absence of a designated parking lot, which was a minor inconvenience.
