Vincenzo Prestera: This is a great example on how to recover dismissed area and convert it to green space in which you can practice sport, relax and enjoy free-time with your furry friends or your family. Entrance is free. If you are in Seattle I suggest to visit in sunny days. I would have appreciated to find more benches to relax on and restrooms.

Jared Yost: Wowzers! I was simply blown away with the view of Seattle and the space needle across the water. I got to walk around the park and climb the hill to see a beautiful view... holy cow. I also liked all the structures in the park to look at and the benches to sit on. I LOVE THIS PARK :DGreat place to have a picnic or play some bocce ball.

Volunteer Park: what do users think?

Josh DP: Within this park is the conservatory, Water Tower, restrooms, a playground, tennis courts, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum! There are lots of events throughout the year, especially in the summer. There are plenty of walking paths and places to sit down on the grass or on benches.

Doug Shapleigh: , home to the Asian Art Museum, has a kids play area by 15th Ave E and a kids water fountain park area. The park does have a lot of hidden areas not easily visible and with that there is some issues with homelessness but the well trafficked paths and paved areas we have never had an issue. The park is part of the Olmsted Brothers' legacy and as such has some very well thought out areas and design.Dog-friendliness: Lots of walking opportunity for

Derek Rose: Nice place to smoke a J

Lawrence Nichols: If you love the beauty and uniqueness of a wide range of familiar and some not so familiar flowers and plants, this is the place for you.

Renée Fitch: Lovely!!!! Peaceful place of the city. A nice reprieve from the hustle and madness. An excellent walk around in some nature. Again, I've been visiting here since I was small. Always refreshed and at peace when here.Restrooms: Not scary!

C. Thomas Loveless: Parking is a pain because it's right by a popular nude beach, but if you're a fan and have a connection to his music, it's is a really cool spot and worth the hassle parking.

Frank Hill: It's outside of Kurt Cobain's house, it is beautiful and sad at the same time. There's people living under the trees in tents too. I've posted pictures of said trees. They are hidden very well. They growl at you when you go near the fence. They posed no threat and there are usually people around.
