Positive Spin Pole Dance Fitness: what do users think?

Dana Canby: Absolutely amazing! What a wonderfully inclusive space to reconnect with and express one’s self.

Elizabeth Humphrey: I started taking classes in November and I've been so excited to come to class 2 - 3x a week ever since! I'm amazed at the growth I've experienced already. I broke my ankle climbing 6 years ago. This is the first time I've felt present and healthy in my body since then. I've had so much encouragement from instructors and other members. This is a really warm and friendly community ♥️

Alexander McQuiston (Xela): Great class, supportive environment, loved it! 😍

Zia Mareck: I love Positive Spin. The teachers I've worked with -- Nyx, Alyssa, Jessie -- are incredible. They explain things well without giving too much information, perfectly balance fun with challenge, kick your butt in the best way and encourage you to get better. My biggest complaint is that I don't live in Seattle so I can't take classes there constantly!

Lilianny Guzman: I love being part of positive spin pole dance, I am fulfilling another dream.

Elise Evans: A thing I say to people is that Positive Spin promotes a big message of body positivity and diversity and queer safe space and all around inclusivity and Actually follows through. They offer all those things and more! It’s a special community where everyone can be themselves and given the model to in turn kind and accepting of all. How lovely!I have many hobbies and life commitments but Positive Spin community has always been there for me. I have other parts of my life that are very buttoned up professional, which is also authentic for me, and I appreciate this space to express this bold part of myself.I have gained skills, technique, confidence, and strength via pole that I am grateful for. It is rare that as an adult I have been a total beginner at something, as it was with pole, and the instructors and fellow students make this a safe space to progress at my own pace.If you’re even slightly on the fence, try the two week trial membership to get a sense of the class types and instructor styles!

Bethany Morrow: I've been doing aerial acrobatics for over a decade, and pole for half of that. Positive Spin has the most knowledgable instructors I've ever had the pleasure of learning from! They're great at troubleshooting challenging pole tricks, and helping students grow stronger and more flexible in ways that are healthy for our bodies. I love the studio's community-mindedness, and feel safe and welcome showing up as my full, queer self. So grateful to be part of this studio!

Candace Knoll: I love going to positive spin! I feel at home there and like I belong there.

Hayley Werner: I have been going to Positive Spin since 2022 and this place has totally changed my everyday life. This space is so affirming, supportive, and fun. Not only have I progressed steadily in pole and strength, but also in confidence.

Rose Valente: Positive Spin has been a magical place for me to rekindle my passion for dance and learn about my body in a supportive, responsive, and creative way. They take extra care to teach instructors to support your physical progression in the sport with many variations for the movements to be accessible for all. I’ve also felt emotionally supported through the various workshops that are offered on a regular basis for me to explore different styles of pole dance and learn how to leverage cross training to prevent injury. I love how inclusive this studio is for all bodies. The dedication to supporting $3X workers and $tripper$ in and outside of the studio is unlike I’ve seen from others.

Meaganne Sullivan: A little over 2 years ago I went to Positive Spin for the first time, with no pole experience and very little strength. Instantly I knew this was a special place! The environment is so welcoming and encouraging, I've met some of the most wonderful people at the studio. I was hooked from the first time I came-even though this is hard work! And not to mention the confidence boost it is to see what you can accomplish, I have felt more strong and secure in my body than I ever have before! This really is such a wonderful place to learn and grow, I am so grateful for Positive Spin!

Kilee Splettstoesser: I’ve been coming to Positive Spin for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love it here! There’s such a sense of community and diversity, and the instructors are all excellent and fun! I tell all my friends to try it out and refer to the studio as my safe space. 3

Madeline Feigles: I have tried about 4 or 5 pole studios across the Seattle area after being introduced to the sport from my coworker. Positive Spin is my favorite studio. It's the most fun studio I've found while still providing great technical classes to improve strength, flexibility, and confidence in your dance. Positive Spin is super inclusive and welcoming for both new students and those who have done pole for a while. All the instructors have different backgrounds and skills that they bring to their classes, making each one interesting and unique. I would highly recommend doing the 2 week trial!

Seren Sterling: are super accessible, and have allowed me to continue training despite lots of health challenges over the past year.Instructors are always willing to answer questions, provide modification, and encourage listening to your body. And even though I don't get to attend in person, as someone with long COVID and asthma, I do appreciate that they continue to have a masking policy to help protect people like me.Truly the most inclusive studio I've ever attended.

Whitney Jordan: Positive Spin has been such a welcoming environment for me. I started out very self conscious and insecure but over the last year I’ve noticed that I’ve gained so much confidence in myself with the help and support of everyone at Positive Spin.

DancingCorgi: Positive Spin is amazing! I'm so glad I decided to try pole dancing here. It is such a welcoming, supportive place to be active for all genders, sizes, shapes, LGBTQ+, fitness levels etc. There is a great variety of classes too, whether you want to focus more on pole tricks, dancing, floorwork, or flexibility. All of the instructors are awesome and friendly and always support people in doing what works for their own body. Even if I've been having a bad day I always leave class feeling better. I love being a wombat!

Alan Tchochiev: so much, that I've been going to classes three times a week for over a year now. They also have teen classes and I dragged my kid to it. He now loves it too

Divine Movement: what do users think?

Elizabeth Bell: Really the best pole studio in Seattle. Beautiful and supportive community encouraging female empowerment and growth. A tremendous place to heal and discover and strengthen.

Tevis Rose Trower: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Kelsey Johnson-Schmidt: I've been a student at Divine Movement since 2018. The staff there has always been kind and welcoming. This place lives for lifting up womxn identifying people and celebrating all that makes them wonderful. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and students are kind and supportive. I have never been part of a community that is as supporting as Divine. It truly is a place to feel empowered as a womxn and to just be unapologetically yourself in all ways. Their vision on what dance is derived on how does it feel, instead of how does it look. The teachers know how to adjust to each students level, and help them succeed in where ever they are in their journey. If they don't know how to help they reach out to other communities members and ask for advice. I will never stop hyping up the experience I have had, and will always encourage my female identifying friends to take a class.

Brogan M: I am a better person because of this place. I am much more confident about my body and I am so much happier. I had no idea all the amazing things I could do. It’s amazing what you can do when you listen to your body. This place is a very nurturing, “come as you are” environment where everyone wants each other to succeed. The instructors are spectacular humans who are compassionate and hilarious and wildly talented. The low lighting and lack of mirrors makes the space a meditative, plus I would have definitely quit after a week if I saw what I looked like. I’ve been challenged physically and mentally here. My body is so much stronger and I am so much kinder to myself. I wish for every woman to experience this place.

Christina Wicks: of it’s members on stage. Couldn’t recommend a studio more!!

Tina Loverich: I took the Pole 101 course due to a groupon deal. I've never been naturally seductive and was worried about how I'd be able to adapt but my teacher, Rachel, was amazingly friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She made everyone feel incredibly comfortable with embracing their sexuality/sensuality.It was a warm, welcoming environment where you're not afraid to try and learn. Met some amazing women in the class over the 6 weeks. The most exciting part for me was seeing how much stronger I got wirh only a few weeks. Pole crunches were impossible for me in week one but by week 5, I could hold the crunch for s long time and felt so much stronger all over. I will be continuing with the drop ins.Would recommend this for anyone/everyone!!!

Enchant Vertical Dance: what do users think?

Tamara Harrison: Tyler has been an absolutely incredible instructor! He is so encouraging, helpful, and positive. He makes classes an absolute joy and I'm so excited to continue learning under his instruction! It's hard to stick to a new skill, but Tyler makes it easy and exciting. I don't think I would have stuck with it if it weren't for having him as our instructor!

Sunni Lee: I took Pole 1 with Tyler and it was amazing! He was so helpful and made the experience so much less intimidating than I expected. Every week I really looked forward to going to pole, and I loved it so much I bought 10 more drop in classes for Pole 2

Tyler Driskill: I have been attending this studio since I moved to Seattle a couple years ago and I love it here. Every instructor, both pole and ballet/contemporary, is amazing and supportive, and I always come away from classes feeling like I've learned something new even if the material is familiar to me. I love that there are so many different levels and types of pole and dance classes offered here, and they're all surprisingly affordable. The owner and instructors do a great job of keeping the studio safe and inclusive, and I have never once felt unsafe, alienated, or otherwise unsupported here. The studio is also in a super convenient location! It's very close to Broadway in Capitol Hill, so the commute is super easy. Overall, a wonderful studio to dance at.

Marie Kevork: Such a great location! There are 3 separate studios which allows for a good variety of classes every night, and all the teachers I've had are super friendly. This is a truly inclusive place.Def going to keep coming back!

Bella K: I love this studio. The Groupon deal was great for pole 1 and I loved my instructor Hailie.

C Wick: The class kicked my butt but the atmosphere was awesome, great teacher and great classmates. I highly suggest trying them out!

Mrs. G: I was able to take a class at enchant when they first opened ages ago and I'm so glad to see that they've been able to expand. I was grateful for their teaching style as it felt like a breath of fresh air in the Seattle pole world. Safety of their students and staff is a huge priority and always has been which makes me feel so much more confident, as I'm not the most graceful of individuals 🤣. I appreciate Enchant and really look forward to my next visit to Seattle so that I can drop by again!

Akshi V: your pole journey!

Daisha Thompson: Lovely little space. Nice and clean. Small class sizes. Amanda is the greatest. Wonderful music choices. Great workout with lots of support.

Serena Juarez: My sister took a intro class here and loved it so I wanted to purchase a 5 week class for her. I contacted the owner, Jessica, and got a prompt response from her. I ended up making a mistake and instead purchased the classes for myself. She quickly helped me get the credits transferred to my sister's account instead without any fuss. Very impressed and would love to try a class for myself sometime in the future!

Pole Fitness Seattle LLC: what do users think?

Dominique Smith: Savanna is the best instructor! We were celebrating a bachelorette’s party and this was our first stop. She was very patient with our party of 8! We learned some new moves and will definitely come back. Getting inside is a bit tricky and parking isn’t the best but still very worth it. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.

Meghan Iacuelli: I have absolutely adored taking Lyra classes at Pole Fitness Seattle. Christina and Yelena are a perfect balance if instructors and are so helpful and supportive. Ascendance Pole and Aerial Arts: what do users think?

D N: Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wished I lived closer so I could take more classes! UPDATE: Just updating as I have been going for a few years now. I absolutely love this studio. The community here is very supportive and make it feel like home. They go out of their way to teach you proper technique to minimize injury. And they have fun events like community classes and showcases. Even though I still live a ways away, I make it a point to go to as many classes as I can. Definitely recommend!

Anissa Gusti: I just took my first beginner pole class and am SOOO impressed! Jojo was great with explaining everything. We all had so much fun!

Annette Lago: This studio has inspired and supported me beyond my expectations.

Jessica Ellem: Lovely space, lovely people. Nothing more you could ask for. I hope to come back here!

Eric Betts: Supper accepting and a challenging arial yoga class!

Samantha Nakamoto: Tried the Hoop level 2 by April, she’s incredibly fun, intuitive and skilled. She made the class such an enjoyable and yet challenging experience with the techniques she taught. Highly recommend.

kat Lo: I love taking classes here with JoJo! I’m new to pole but she makes it so easy and fun. I leave my classes feeling more confident and with specific moves to continue practicing on my own.

Laura Wright: Super welcoming, inclusive space. Instructors are amazing and I learn new things every time I come to class. I'm excited to continue my pole journey here.

Haley Semo: but have had awful experiences with gyms/group fitness. Ascendance has been an absolute game changer and is now becoming a second home. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart! Couldn't recommend this space more! If I could give it a million stars I would. 3

Al Noite: Great environment, great teachers, body positive, and great location.

Candace Sorden: . Elaine’s approach will make an absolute beginner feel at ease. You will learn so much in little time in Cynthia’s classes. Liz has an eye for technique and will breakdown a sequence so you can master it. If you are interested in pole/ aerial arts I definitely recommend this studio!

Dedeker Winston: Love this place! Super easy to book classes, and I appreciate the variety of different dance styles. They make an effort to be welcoming to beginners as well as old pros. Their monthly memberships are a great value!
