Colleen W.: I’ve lived in the St James apartments for 5 years. Every lease renewal I like to check out other spaces to ensure I’m in the best place and I can confidently say that I am. While the building isn’t as new as others, and I do not have a W/D in my unit, the layout makes sense, I have a real bedroom and full size kitchen appliances. The laundry room is convenient with 4 washers and 4 dryers so laundry is not a time suck.The management and maintenance are the best. Strong communication and friendly. They schedule community events and make you feel truly at home.The location speaks for itself. I love being in the heart of Fremont.

Rebecca Butler: These are the views from my balcony! My apartment is just as beautiful on the inside. I have lived here for almost 2 years, and it truly feels like home. I started out in a one bedroom, and when I needed to upgrade to a 2 bedroom the process was super easy and straightforward. The whole building is immaculately clean and well kept. The views are gorgeous from everywhere. I have always felt safe, especially with the multiple doors and security desk. And honestly, the best part of all is the people. The manager and head of maintenance are genuinely kind and have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They're incredibly responsive to all my maintenance requests, and they always check in to make sure things are still going well. They have also organized several rooftop barbecues. My neighbors and I absolutely love them and always look forward to them. Everyone gets treated like a VIP here! If you're looking for a home that feels like home in every way, this is the place! 🙂
Stacee: I have been living at St James Tower for more than a year now.Marcus and Edgar are the friendliest and most helpful people you’ll ever meet in an apartment management office.The building is located in a great location, right close to the Burke Gilman trail and all the fun stuff in Fremont. The view from the rooftop and some apartments are unbeatable.Only 4 stars because I honestly think the management company could invest some more work on the 24-hour maintenance line. Our elevator was down a few times during the weekend and we called that line but they didn’t fix it 🤷♀️ When Marcus was back on Monday, he got it taken care of right away. But then what’s the point of the 24h maintenance line if that line doesn’t deal with urgency?There was another time when water was cut in our building on a Saturday morning, I called the 24h maintenance line again and the lady who answered the phone snapped at me and said too many people have called about that same problem so I should just wait. That answer was ridiculous on so many levels 🤷♀️

Evan Ziebell: St. James Tower was my first "home away from home" when I moved to Seattle four years ago. I could not have made a better choice for my first apartment. The building is positioned in a walkable location in Fremont. The rooftop deck offers spectacular views of Mount Rainier and Lake Union. The sense of camaraderie among the residents and staff provided an unmatched experience for me. Adrienne, the Community Director, is quick to assist residents and resolve any issues. Edgar, the maintenance Service Manager, is extremely skilled and professional at every encounter. I recommend this community to everyone I meet. While it's true that Seattle is a difficult city to meet new people, St. James was the place I made lifelong friendships and memories that I will cherish forever.

Yan Xiao: Cheri is really amazing. She showed me the apartment. I signed the lease with her. She inspected the home for me and she found the smallest detail and then she fixed it for me.I drove 18 hours consecutively to Kiara across states, and Cheri really made my move-in day easy and warm. I felt like seeing an angel after a long exhausting trip.Also other people in the team, Sara, Michaela are also really nice. The concierge people Hong, Scott, Denisse are also really nice.

K G: My husband and I moved into Kiara about a month ago and couldn't be happier with our decision. Our leasing agent, Cheri, was wonderful to work with and made the whole process of picking an apartment and moving in a breeze. She was both kind and patient with all of our questions and showed us multiple apartments over several weeks - Cheri really is the best! We love the apartment - it's very quiet, the public spaces are kept immaculate, and everyone on the concierge staff is friendly and helpful.

E.L. jorgensen: are all well kept and clean.Mail/Packages = mail is secure. A lot of places in the same area have problems with package theft, NOT Kiara! Not only do we have on-site mail services, but Amazon lockers and a concierge that can accept packages and store them securely, until you're home and can pick them up.Trash = I may be nit-picky here, but the trash chutes are broken, or down, more than they are up and running. They are down so frequently, that the trash room on my floor fills up quickly. It is very common for 3-8 bags of trash to be left in the trash room when the chute is down. Kiara asks you to take it downstairs, directly to the dumpster, but most residents do NOT do this and it just piles up.Utilities = you have to sign up for your own electricity. But water, sewage, and trash are all billed by Kiara. Now, Kiara says they "check the meter" and based on meter readings and number of occupants per household determine your payment. HOWEVER, I was traveling a lot for work one month

Lalitesh Bansal: We recently checked out Kiara Apartments with Cheri, our leasing agent. She was amazing! Super friendly and helpful throughout the whole tour. The place itself is fantastic - awesome views and lots of natural light in the units. Plus, the rooftop is the coolest spot around! The staff here is top-notch too - always there to help out. Definitely recommend Kiara for a great place to live with great people!

The maintenance staff are prompt and always have a great attitude. Most of our issues get resolved within a day. There's a few flaws here and there, but by far the best apartment we've rented at to date.

The community is gorgeous; Cheri's "sales tactics" weren't even sales tactics - We had an organic conversation, she went so far as to even ask if I had any pets and what their names were! I can't emphasize enough how exceptional of a tour this was compared to others in the Seattle market. While Cheri did ask if I'd like to apply day-of, and follow up with me, appropriately so, several times after my tour - I did eventually fill her in on my decision to remain in Ballard. No other leasing professional reached out me after the day-of tour; this speaks volumes to Cheri's commitment to excellence, impressive skillsets and passion - For placing the right people in the right home - not simply a "salesperson" feel. I work in sales myself, and have found this strategy to be more effective than any other. Cheri is in it for the long game; if I decide to move 2 years from now, I'm going back to Kiara and I'm asking for Cheri!

Jake Wang: , kind support, and helpfulness is definitely special. I've rented at a few different apartments across the country, and so far, no one's done it better than Tower12. I appreciate that the team is very on the ball and proactive about communicating to residents any apartment happenings, whether they were issues or events.I wanted to note that I did live here during the elevator outages/delays, trash chute, and water pipe issues that other reviews may have mentioned. This is true, and it was inconvenient. I imagine it was exponentially more painful for residents on very high floors when elevators were down/slow. The team was good about communicating updates for the issues. While it was unfortunate that some of the issues were prolonged due to circumstances outside of the Tower12 team's control, the team was clear about what was going on and communicating to residents. These issues are always risks at any apartment, and it was unfortunate it happened at Tower12. That said, I think the team did the best they could and it showed.Again, beautiful units. The quality of the construction is very high. Good, smooth drawers/cabinets, appliances, and flooring. The only thing I would add as a "wishlist" thought: it would be nice if Tower12 upgraded the door locks to be fob access, and upgraded the thermostats to be "smart" like Nest

Their warm and welcoming demeanor has been consistent throughout my stay. Every challenge, whether it was a water-related concern or an issue with the elevator, was met with utmost care, empathy, and a ‘white glove’ approach. The building manager and assistant manager go above and beyond their duties. Instead of merely delegating tasks, they are always present during emergencies, offering reassurance with their proactive involvement and even just a comforting smile. Their presence not only in challenging times but also in good times makes all the difference. I wholeheartedly commend the team at Tower 12 for making it more than just a residence, but a home. I would be with this if I didn’t also give respect to Mookie and the cleaning and facilities team they work all the time. “Every day is Monday” when it comes to their dedication!!

Beautiful views, great amenities, entire staff is friendly, caring, and everyone is quick with updates when something is happening. Couldn’t recommend living here enough. It’s the only place we have ever renewed a lease and we’d do it again!
Dustin Ray: Simply the best building downtown. The staff are the most courteous and professional of any apartment in the city. The building is modern and has every feature you could want. Even maintenance that would normally be disruptive is handled with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. I cheated on them for another building in Belltown and couldnt have been more mistaken. Price point is competitive and the people are wonderful. No need to look anywhere else. Walk to the market to get your groceries. They had high speed EV chargers before anyone else in the city. Regular art and community events help you get to know your neighbors and the city better than anywhere else. You simply will not find a better view in the city than this building.

The best part of living here is the staff, they make the difference! And I mean every single one of them. They are attentive, kind, problem solvers and truly get to know you. Natalie Fitzsimmons: I've lived at Tower 12 for almost a year and absolutely loved every minute! The location is ideal. You are a 5-minute walk to the market, close to endless bars and restaurants, shopping, and public transit. It's a highly secure building with awesome package service, so there's never the risk of deliveries getting lost/stolen. The monthly parking and bike storage fee is reasonable. And the views from the rooftop are insane. Plus, there's a coffee machine!The units have floor-to-ceiling windows, so there's always lots of light, and I love the super high ceilings. Everything feels so open.But all that great stuff aside, it's the people of Tower 12 that make this building shine. Shoutouts to Taryn, Christina, Ryan, Mike, Steve, and Michael for all you do! There are also monthly social events, happy hours, pet of the month, paint and craft nights, and holiday celebrations to mingle with your fellow residents.The gym is gorgeous. You can work out while enjoying stunning views of the needle, Elliot Bay, and beyond. Extra special shout out to Awan, fitness instructor extraordinaire and incredible person who hosts the fitness studio's Monday evening full body workout classes. His class has helped me build strength and pushes me to move. Special request to management/activity coordinator: can we please get another one of Awan's fitness classes added per week? Pretty please?

Claudette S: The staff is on top of any issue right away. Snacks and coffee for tenants, someone in the office everyday, a cookie bar for the dogs. My beef, thin walls, but that’s all the buildings anymore.

Jinny Trang: I relocated to Seattle from the east coast six months ago and couldn't be more satisfied with my choice of Vive as my first place of residence. The move-in process, from signing the lease to settling in, was seamless. Ian and Ollie make an excellent team and have truly stood out, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuine concern for their residents. They actively work on fostering a strong sense of community.Maintenance requests are always promptly addressed, and the appliances are modern and reliable so my living experience has been hassle-free. Ongoing issues don’t get neglected for too long. For example, they’ve recently installed a security camera in the mail room. Location is very ideal and walkable. Best of all, the rooftop is a standout feature, offering views the sunset over the Olympics and a glimpse of the tip of Rainier on a clear day.Overall, Vive offers great value for those seeking a budget-friendly apartment with exceptional staff. Would highly recommend!
Junhong Kang: The service is really good. I forgot to turn off the ignition of my car, and the management door knocked on the door to remind me. I just moved and I don’t have a printer. The property management company helped me with printing and faxing. There is coffee and snacks in the lobby all year round. The property staff are always responsive and the service is very good and perfect.

Rachel Seitz WA-Seattle: Moved into VIVE in October 2022 and already signed another lease. I toured 8 different properties in the Seattle area and basically the same layout and price point at all the properties. Quite a few properties had some amazing amenities that VIVE just does not offer at this time. I chose VIVE after meeting the Property Manager Nico. He was just so personable, his tour was great, he mentioned and showed me the activities that coordinates for the residents which seemed like a great time. I could tell he genuinely took pride in his community, which is so clean and it smells amazing, quiet and well cared for. The maintenance supervisor, Ollie is so efficient and takes care of any concerns immediately. I am always seeing Nico and Ollie cleaning the floors and different area as well as straightening up to make sure our property looks great! The community itself is so low-key and friendly and very pet friendly. Nico is so easy to talk to and never makes me feel like I'm burdening him with whatever questions or concerns I may have. I signed a new lease for another year at VIVE, mostly because I don't think another community can match the staff here. I do wish they offered amenities, but Nico and Ollie make up for that missing piece.

Rachel D Seitz: I've lived at Vive in Ballard since October 2022. I love living here; so much when a new larger unit opened I re-signed. The staff, Ian and Oliver are fantastic. Vive is locating within walking distance of so many things in Ballard. The Farmers Market every Sunday and delicious restaurants, shops and groceries. It runs on the bus line so I know many residents that have given up their cars.There are activities via online and in person, a nice lobby where you can host a movie night, play pool or just hang out. The property is well kept, clean and secure.

So if you also move here for the view, it’s pretty disappointing that Equity Residential does not prioritize this.-big dog area is great but I rarely see it being cleaned-our car was vandalized in the garage- even if not owned by the building, residents should feel safe and confident about our cars while we live here

Lindsey Martinson: I really enjoy staying here. The common areas are beautiful and spacious. In the mornings I often go up to the top floor, grab coffee, get some work done, and take in the views even before my workday starts. The management of the building is truly exceptional. They communicate about everything and provide top-notch service. I needed tools to put together furniture, and they had some to borrow. They also have events each month, which I really appreciate because they allow people to casually mingle. Last month there was a Mother's Day card-making event with the most gorgeous charcuterie boards and mimosas. It was a good time and an easy way to get to know some new people. I really appreciated Reese, who hosted the event. We got to talking and he was able to introduce me to some new things to do throughout Seattle and just generally feel welcome.

The biggest reason is the consistent, exceptional service—it's unmatched in apartment living and feels more akin to a luxury hotel, complete with 24-hour service, spas, gym, etc. Two staff members, Reese and Herman, have consistently gone out of their way to make me feel truly welcome and at home. Whether it's help with logistics, entertainment, or anything in between, they have exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the staff and the apartment living experience here.

Nothing is perfect but everything has been fantastic and exceeded my expectations... the residences, the amenities, the events, and above all the people. Everyone from the maintenance team to the lifestyle coordinator to the leasing team and of course the concierges! I could not have pulled the event off without the help of concierge, Reese!! Huge shoutout to him for going above and beyond the call of duty!! He made sure the room was ready and worked diligently with us on the sound system so we could play our own music. He checked in frequently throughout the party to make sure everything was going as planned. Additionally, he helped us disassemble, get things to our cars and wind things down.On another note, Reese has taken over the event planning for the building and the events have gone from zero to 60 in terms of something to everyone!! K C: I lived at AMLI for about 3 years. It was an overall pleasant experience, the staff was really friendly and helpful with any questions and difficulties I had. Shout out to the maintenance people for being responsive and efficient too.I recommend checking out the actual apartment before signing a lease, just so you know what the view and feel is like.The gym is small but has good coverage, I mostly used the cardio machines, but sometimes machines and dumbbells. There's also free coffee/tea in the lounge area, which was awesome and convenient if you didn't want to brew your own.The best thing was the location because it was close to the Lake and I could go walk by it any time. This was really good in the summer.There are some drawbacks which is more of preferences, but it might not bother you:If you are not a morning person, the garbage truck is very loud and comes for pick up early, like 6-7AM. I was facing Pontius Ave N. I am a morning person and wake up at 6AM usually, so it didn't bother me.Walls are pretty thin, from bottom too. I had made couple noise complaints while I lived here. Which were resolved, after reaching out to management.If you want a good view, you won't be getting it here, the building is shorter and adjacent to other apartment buildings. You will see other people's apartments. Windows aren't tinted so you won't have much privacy, especially at night. Natural lighting will be hard to get unless you have your blinds up.If view and morning noise doesn't bother you, AMLI 535 is an amazing apartment choice. There's a lot of good restaurants and its walking distance to Whole Foods for groceries. And not too far from Capitol Hill if you are trying to get there. There are also buses close by.Thank you AMLI Staff for making the apartment experience great.

Talaia kept in touch with us all the way and showed us everything we needed to know and has been helpful getting us acclimated here.

After coming from properties that provided little to no communication, it was relieving to come to Helios and find such an efficient system for applying, and signing our lease. Talaia has been super helpful and was very kind during the tour. The units are extremely nice, finishes are on par or superior to other 'luxury' buildings in the area. The area that the building is in is not as bad as it is made out to be, for the most part, unhoused people are living their day to day lives, and have no care to harm others.Hope my experience continues to stay so positive!

I decided to move in because how I safe I felt with her, and she hasn’t changed at all since I moved in, still so kind and easy to communicate with.Kevin is really quick to respond to repair, and is like a knowledgeable grandpa that looks after the community.The property owner definitely should compensate these two gems well, they are the No.1 reasons a lot of tenants continue to live here.
Alana Layton: I lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. The building and apartment layouts are designed really well. Plus, living across from a grocery store is the epitome of luxury for me.If you have a dog, the surrounding neighborhoods are perfect for walks. The community is super dog friendly and everyone is supportive and kind.The best part about the building though is Everlyn and Kevin, who are amazing and go above and beyond to make this a great place to live.In my opinion, Greenwood is the best neighborhood in Seattle and Janus apartments is easily the best complex in Greenwood. Only reason I’m leaving is because I’m moving out of state. You can’t go wrong with living here!

Everlyn and Kevin run this place more efficiently than anywhere else I have ever lived. From the first moment we met, Everlyn has always given us great advice and has had time for anything we need. We called her spur of the moment to tour and she made it happen, even though we had our dog. And she recommended other people buildings we might like nearby as well, which she definitely did not have to do. She hosts community events that are way fun and the building itself if perfect for it. Everlyn truly listens to any issues you have and promptly helps you solve anything you need help with. She always has a smile and the time for a quick chit chat. Kevin is kind and a hard worker and manages maintenance tasks and all the other tasks needed in the building. He is very considerate and my dog loved him so much. 10/10 would move back into this apartment building if I returned to Seattle. It is so conveniently located to anything you might need in walking distance. We love Janus!!

Adrienne Cohea: The building is terrific to live in, just off of Capitol Hill, so it's quiet, yet close to fun amenities. Rent increases are modest, and they want to keep good relationships with their tenants. The building manager and leasing office staff are kind, caring, and responsive. I've been here two years and plan to stay.
Savanna Fernandez: I’ve lived here for 1.5 years and while I’ve had some ups and downs with a few items, as a whole this complex is great. Ron is especially amazing and you can tell how much he really cares for the residents of the building. Location is great as it’s only a block from cap hill but feels more residential and is quiet, even on the weekends. I love my apartment here.

We enjoyed living here, and I particularly want to point out the great work that the management team of Roxanne and Ron has done. We have since moved to a new apartment complex, and I'm now realizing how good we had it at the Charbonneau, particularly in terms of response to issues and maintenance requests. I also believe that Charbonneau provides the best value for your dollar in the First Hill/Cap Hill neighborhood.
Kristina Lee: I've lived at Charbonneau for almost two years. Manager Roxanne and Ron, who overseas the facility have been some of the best people I've ran into in my entire rent history. They were 100% reliable with communication and getting work done. Not only are they competent people, but genuinely friendly and caring. My one bedroom apartment is cozy, a little smaller than my previous one, but the spacious yet private balcony made up for it, especially during the pandemic. Location is great, to take full advantage of Capitol Hill and downtown. It is only a couple of blocks from Pike so you do get the city vibe, but still has the neighborhood feel.

The superintendent takes pride in his work and issues are resolved quickly and competently, the manager is responsive to email, and all maintenance personnel have been quick and helpful. The messy prior reviews are all from before the transition--having been there for several years now, I can say that it's a great place to live. It isnt fancy or new, but between location, price, and good staff, its a great option for renters looking to be in walking distance to Capitol Hill and Downtown Seattle but off the main drag.
Daniel g: Lived here for two years. Management is reasonable and always kind. Was a minor leak in my unit that got fixed promptly. My only gripe was that the floorboards are a bit thin so you'll sometimes hear your upstairs neighbours. Other than that, a great place to live.

When one opened, the leasing staff helped us transfer our leases to the one unit and made it super smooth and easy; which not many places around here can offer. The office staff is always super friendly and we can always count on Tanis to assist in whatever needs we have - or to throw a great community event! Looking forward to the rest of our lease as we love our home!

Daniel Cheng: Galfato gave me a great tour as I was evaluating apartments -- he showed me a comprehensive set of all the units available, helped me understand the tradeoffs with the view/orientation/interior environment, and generally made me feel that I could trust living at Juxt as a good and safe environment.
Junqi Xu: Stayed here for around 5 months and had to move out for some personal reasons. Overall great experience here. The property managers here, Tanis and Galfato, are very nice to always willing to help. They will also sort the package room daily. I haven't had any package loss during my stay here. Never had false fire alarm as well.One of my concern before moving in is that it is quite close to the Tiny house village, but at least over my stay at Juxt, I feel quite safe.But one con is that I was charged a $180 standard 1B cleaning fee after inspection. I am not sure if it is a minimum cleaning fee for all 1B unit. Anyway, I guess every apartment will charge you something after you move out, at least they aren't charging me too much.
Ayeyi Turkson: Being here since June, 2023 and couldn't have wished for a better experience especially as someone renting for the first time. The assistant manager, Tanis Dabney is legit the greatest human being on earth! Honest and forthcoming with anything at all you want to know about the apartment and city as a whole-great person to meet.
Sharat Sindoor: Moved here about a month ago and it has been great so far. The location is good with many restaurants around, nice amenities, common areas and nice rooftop. You might hear the occasional footsteps and vehicular traffic but that comes with every community.The JUXT staff is super nice and responsive to questions especially Evie and Tanis. Evie has been great right from the beginning with answering questions, touring the property and during/after move in ensuring everything has been as smooth as possible. Any maintenance requests have been promptly addressed.
Nathan Zhang (TEDA): Lived there for 5 years and would definitely miss the place. Service/management and amenities are good. Maintenance team response is very fast. I did have my car window broke in once, but management handled it okay so I'm not complaining.With the increasing homelessness and drug issue I wasn't feel safe to live on the ground floor any more, so I moved to higher floors after 2020. Overall good experience. Downside seems universal across every place in the downtown/SLU area, maybe living in a high rise building is better but the price is also high compared to here.

The building engineer is very professional and service requests were handled immediately. I cannot recommend this building enough - nice apartment, amazing management and great location!

Will Sanchez: I moved in early this year and I have to say that it's been a breeze. I get the City-living feeling from this location. The staff is cool and professional, especially Rolo. The hallways, elevator, gym, and sundeck are well maintained, recently the walls in the front entrance were painted.

The team responds very promptly to requests for service or information. It's not perfect, like any place, and issues that come up are communicated and addressed quickly. Plus there are great dogs.
Stephanie McDowell: The location can't be beat. You get the convenience of being downtown, but this location is much quieter than some other choices. If you like to walk, this is a terrific place. I walk to work each day. You are minutes from Pike Place Market. The pier is right across the street, providing miles of fantastic scenery with the Olympic Sculpture park in one direction, to the ferries in the other direction. My apartment is quiet as I have great neighbors. I've worked almost exclusively with Rolo, and he is super friendly and responsive.
Brittney Cunningham: I recently moved in about 2 months ago and have had a great experience so far. I love the location, great views and the majority of the neighbors I’ve interacted with have been really cool. I have noticed car break ins as mentioned in some other reviews, but realistically I don’t think it’s due to a lack of security but more so a lack of awareness on the part of people living here. There have been times where the front door has been propped open as people are moving but they’re nowhere in sight, which renders the security measures useless and easily allows access to vehicles on level P2. The elevators and the gym could be cleaned more frequently but no major complaints outside of that.
Pankaj Badgujar: We recently moved to 2300 Elliott and had a great experience. Lots of pros, the rooms are spacious, location is awesome, quite close to the elliott bay, great balconies, building is always well-cleaned and well-maintained, rooftop offers great view, the staff Rolo and De both are very helpful and quickly resolve our concerns. Service requests are addressed promptly. Equity portal is also a handy app for availing other services. Some cons are that the lobby should have a coffee bar and a TV monitor or speaker playing songs if possible. Also, the Gym is small and crowded by machines, also has short ceiling height so there's hardly any room to do Body weight exercises. The courtyard is hardly used, and is mostly empty since the weather is cold for 8 months anyway, they should ideally add that space to they Gym to extend it to allow more people and space for stuff like Yoga. Gym should have yoga mats, skipping ropes, wet wipes. Also, have heard the garage going through some break-ins, but we do not have vehicles so weren't affected in that regard. But the cons aren't that big a concern judging by the pros. Overall a great building.
