Seattle Yoga Arts: what do users think?

Khalif A.: Fantastic experience! Really relaxing & feel more stretched than I have in a while

Angelica Gutierrez: Fantastic class… deep stretches… perfect!

Pierre Bradette: A great studio with fantastic teachers - all very skilled with years of experience. Great place to immerse yourself in yoga and learn at your own pace. The instructors meet you where you are at in terms of ability and skill. They will challenge you in a way that prioritizes what is safe and what you are ready for.

Feven H: I took a noon class, fundamentals with Kathryne Bouchard. Such a beautiful flow. Challenging but gentle. It didn't feel like I was working hard, more like traveling/exploring in my body. Abs were very sore next day lol. I recommend! Thank you Seattle Arts.

Jordan Kump: Fantastic local studio. Ellen in particular is an amazing teacher. The free to use mats, props, and water is so convenient. If you haven't tried one of their classes, sign up today!

Lauren Cree: I was devastated when my beloved "yoga home", Sutra in Wallingford, closed its doors a few years ago. Began my search and upon a friend's recommendation took a couple of classes at SYA. Well.....the rest as they say is history. Beautiful space, warm and welcoming staff and teachers who really know their stuff, innovative and supportive styles of classes for all levels/moods, and a lovely and diverse community.

Mauricio Borges: Best place to do traditional Yoga in Seattle

S Antupit: SYA is Seattle's most wonderful community, studio, and teacher training resource.

Michelle Peterson: I have been a student since 2002. There is no other studio I've been so at home in.

Sanctuary: what do users think?

Adriana Ramirez: I've been coming here for about a year now and am SO sad they will be closing till May! 💔 I have the membership plan and was about to really throw myself in starting new year but I guess not! I love it here and hope the new place will be just as great....please open sooner I'm gonna miss you guys!

Avery Stratton: Our group had such a blast here for a bachelorette party. The host was warm, inviting, and kind. The space was serene and grounding. Highly recommend!

Christian Warren: Awesome place, awesome experience! If you’re looking for something new and unique experience in the world of yoga, this is definitely the place to go.It’s also currently unique to Seattle! So if you’re just visiting, I recommend getting this in! I did, and no regrets. Absolutely gorgeous and fun, and got me actually interested in practicing yoga

Catherine Edwards: One of my favorite places to be for a great detox. The facility is always so clean and relaxing! The staff are so sweet and amazing! Smiles all around for Modo!

Rainier Aliment: Really special place to experience guided breathwork!Every detail of the space has been thoughtfully designed and put together. Very supportive and healing.I'll be back!

Doug Lyon: Had a great experience, and will certainly be back. Wish that there were more of these around the city/state/along the west coast.

Mafara Hobson: This was an AMAZING experience. The facility is luxurious yet simple with the inviting relaxing feel of a spa with minimalist and sustainable undertones. The vibe is incredibly chill and calming with subtle notes of fragrant aromatics. The class sessions are led by instructors who deliver dialogue that is easy to follow, offers safe alignment cues and alternative asana positions to increase or decrease intensity.

Lee Kindell: Wow. Unexpected! I hesitantly went thinking 50 bucks is a bit much for one visit , after the experience, I realized how wrong I was. Walking through the door is entering what you’d imagine a place that is supposed to transport you , to be, from decor to custom scented space and calm environment. The cleanliness is a solid “10” The “ Docent” , the one who tends to you is well trained , friendly and knowledgeable. It was a fully customizable experience . I did not realize how distracted I was in a regular yoga class , vs being focused solely on myself and the instructor . This is the FUTURE of wellness , I highly recommend at least trying it once . You’ll probably change your mind , just like I did . Peace!

Julia T: This place is amazing! I have brought several girlfriends here and my boyfriend-- all loved it equally. The personal customization is one of my favorite features about this place. You get to pick the class, the music, the temperature and whether you want scents or not.Update: I expressed my concerns with my last visit here and was reached out by the team almost immediately. I appreciate the fact that they read their reviews and will note the feedback they receive. It is so rare for me to see a business care and try to rectify their guests negative experience and try to make it positive. Thanks Sanctuary Team!

Robin Williams: Amazing! Will definitely be back!

Smeeta: recommended so I decided to try this on a wet, cold Sunday afternoon

Rebeka: Sanctuary is the most incredible yoga/meditation studio out there. The thoughtful design of the entire space makes you feel like the most special person in the world. Taking a class there is such a treat. The flows are creative and challenging enough to get you out of your head and present at the moment. Can’t recommend it enough.

Evanjelina Alejandre: I had the most incredible experience. I’ve had such a stressful month and needed to find a place to escape to. I downloaded the app and booked my first appt. I was running 5 minutes late due to not being able to find the location. I walked in the door frazzled and stress. I was welcomed in by Elizabeth who immediately put me at ease. She welcomed me in with the warmest energy. The session was like no other. Your completely immersed into your meditation. I was able to silence my mind and focus with no distractions. When the session ended i took a session and was able to relax and unwind in the comfort of my own studio. After the session ended i walked back up front and was given some recommendations from Elizabeth for my next visit after i told her my experience and what i wanted the next time i came in. I’m 100% coming back. I’m so grateful that i found this place, it truly felt like my sanctuary.

Audrey Perkins: Very serene, great instruction. The setup was seamless and the environment welcoming. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy luxurious vibes 👌🏻

Katlen Tillman: It is everything the name is

Thais: My new favorite place! The amount of joy I have going Sanctuary... the whole experience gives you nothing but joy!

Janice Jimenez: ! If I could afford it, I would take class here every day!!!!

Courtney Jordan: This is just heaven! Private and totally customizable yoga studio in a beautifully designed space!

8 Limbs Yoga Centers - Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Laura: Positive:Communication,QualityOne of the best yoga studios I've ever experienced. Love that the teachers all are so unique and their personality comes thru in teaching. This isn't a cookie cutter yoga class type place.

Tara Lee: Get in here

Emma Hohenstein: I’ve been attending Nancy’s devotional flow for a few months now. It’s fantastic. My favorite reset on a Sunday morning.

Amy Hagopian: A lovely yoga studio. The staff are clearly happy to be there, and report being employed under good working conditions. I favor a particular teacher, and he is reliably there Sunday mornings. People are kind, warm, welcoming.

Grace Parker: Eight Limbs is a friendly, welcoming yoga community with awesome teachers. I always enjoy my experience and am so glad we have this gem of a studio.

Andrea K Newman: This yoga studio includes a wonderful group of yoga instructors that are dedicated to creating a mindful, non-judgemental, and person-centered yoga practice for all yoga students.

Maria Dalbotten: and so the front desk person taught the class last minute. This was only frustrating when it was a 6:30 am class. Over all the teachers are fantastic.

I feel incredibly grateful I found such a warm, welcoming, and supportive studio right off the bat! I've really enjoyed every one of my classes, trying different styles and all the instructors. Modo Yoga Seattle: what do users think?

Maggie Astolfi: .

Rani Zimand: I love this studio. Creative and attentive instructors + free mat rentals if you bike-so awesome!

Michael Doquilo: Pranify has been great! I’ve been enjoying the classes a lot.

Bridgit Montgomery: I really enjoy practicing at Pranify! The lobby is a cozy, welcoming space, the locker room has all the amenities I need to shower and get ready for work and the practice space is large and clean. I'm a fan of Bekah and Greta in particular but have loved every class I've taken. Pranify definitely believes in community and I look forward to spending more time there on and off my mat! Thank you 😊

Olivia Moskowitz: Love this studio! The instructors are great and the space is beautiful.

Oren Levy: Great yoga location. Teachers are friendly and helpful. Easy to sign up for classes and a good range of classes as well. I very much recommend Peabody

Ellen Bruchmiller: I've been loving Pranify lately! It is a small studio, but they have a good variety of classes. Beautiful space and all the instructors have been great. Main reason for 4 stars is that the studio itself tends to get pretty smelly, which is not surprising given that it's hot yoga, but I have been to other hot yoga studios that didn't seem to have that problem. I also got spoiled having a good friend that was an exceptional yoga instructor, so my bar for class quality is extremely high. But overall, I would definitely recommend Pranify and I will be going back for the foreseeable future!

Logan Fitzgerald: A great overall experience! I'm new to Yoga and everyone being so friendly and inviting has really helped me feel like a part of the community. Every class has been great and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and I'm excited to continue to try all the different types of classes they offer.

Hannah Reilly: I’ve taken classes with Jodi, Chelsey, and Tami who are all wonderful teachers. The classes are very flowy and the staff create a warm atmosphere. The building is spacious and comfortable, it feels like a place run by people who love and care about yoga!

Natalie Dostoomian: I love going to Pranify to warm up on a chilly seattle morning. It is a welcoming and comfortable space

Joely Hannan: Hot yoga studio with great vibes in Greenlake! I've tried lots of studios traveling for work and this is a consistent favorite. There's good variety in classes for finding what you're looking for, awesome instructors, and the way the room is heated is comfortable!

Abbi Nussbaum: one of my favorite yoga studios in seattle! classes are the perfect temperature super hot, flows are always fun and challenging, and all the instructors i've taken are so welcoming and helpful for my practice!

S Young: I've attended Tami's and Chloe's classes for the past year and find them to be phenomenal yoga instructors - kind, knowledgeable, challenging in all the best ways. Staff in general have handled any issues/queries with openness, understanding and so much compassion. Great facility as well. I looks forward to coming every week to inprove my healtg.

Jenny Cugier: Pranify yoga has been such a game changer for me; I feel strong, zen and empowered! Love this place ♥️

Karin Stevens: LOVE this studio. Energy of staff, the aesthetics of the space, showers, and the HOT room. It is like a warm hug when you walk into the silent room and prepare to meet a thoroughly engaging power flow and flow. I like a 60 min class. And there are many daily options. And a 75 min if you need it. Teachers are very thoughtful and offer more than just movement, they offer teachings for life. I am a long-time yoga practitioner and am comfortable jumping into anything, but I wonder if these classes would be challenging for new practitioners to learn the poses. I've only taken The Roots class once and look forward to taking it more. Perhaps this is a class for newer yogis. Overall I am SO happy to be back in a yoga community. It has been a long time! And I also really like their online class schedule booking site! So easy to book and reschedule if needed. And they offer great workshop offerings. Thank you Pranify.

Julia Ginder: Love the variety of classes here and the beautiful facilities. It’s also so convenient for those in the Green Lake area.

Lizzy Canarie: Pranify has made me fall in love with hot yoga again.

Sohyun Park: Great yoga studio! I love that it is warm, but not too hot to complete your 1 hr yoga class. Highly recommend!

Brianna Foley: I've really enjoyed classes at Pranify. Each teacher brings something different to the class and the environment has been inviting and warm.

Be Luminous Yoga: what do users think?

Sherry Q: I am sad that it closed, I have been to this studio for 5 months and fell in love with yoga again. Both Micheal and Ashish really helped me building strength and stretching my body to the point that I don't have any back pain anymore and did a first ever handstand in my life. My husband started going there too, and it helped his back pain as well. I strongly recommend Micheal and Ashish's class. Micheal currently is not teaching anymore, but Ashish is still teaching. I really miss Micheal's class, I hope she can start teaching somewhere closer to SLU again, Please come back!

Gavi Franco: or

Neil Thawani: I traveled to Seattle for work and decided to drop into a yoga studio for two weeks. Little did I know I would find a tribe of some of the friendliest, most competent, and impressive yogis I have ever witnessed. It was a pleasure to be on the mat with the teachers and fellow students of BLY.

Jennifer Huber: I took a zoom class with Ashish and I highly recommend that you do too while we are practicing from wherever we are under quarantine. His teaching is effective and powerful and his cueing is clear and effective. I highly recommend checking him out with their zoom yoga offerings or go see him in person if you live in the Seattle area.

Peter Feysa: Favorite yoga spot.

Marcus: Dropped in for a class while visiting Seattle. Very aesthetically pleasing, clean studio. Instruction was also quality.

Psy Zhou: One of the best yoga studios in Seattle! Cozy and right in downtown!

Aline Altmann: Great classes, very demanding but still feasible for all levels since teachers would always give different options. Temperature of the heated classes is not too hot - overall a great experience and definitely recommended

Aimee Leong: Best yoga studio I've been to. Teachers are passionate, calm but not over-bearing.

Jonathan: You'll be hurting, in the best ways possible! Good skill range and schedule!

Irene Brown: Great

Lauren Whiddon: Some of the classes are too crowded for my taste. I love the combination lockers they have.

Spira Power Yoga: what do users think?

Rucker Alex: classes as well as occasional workshops, retreats, and mindfulness / yoga teacher trainings too. There's always parking right in front, and Dora has also allowed me to bring my bike into the lobby for safekeeping during class.

Amanda Babai: Spira is one of the best studios I’ve ever been to—it’s clean, friendly, and welcoming. Dora is an amazing teacher and yogini, and I love how she perfectly combines physical rigor with the spiritual & mental sides of yoga. Truly, it’s an art.

Shannon Rock: I've been doing yoga at Spira for several years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. Dora's yoga classes are physically challenging for the experienced yogi, but not unapproachable for those new to the practice. She has an incredible depth of knowledge, so you know you're learning proper technique. She's also darn funny, reminding us that joy and humor are important parts of every life endeavor. This is NOT just an exercise class, Dora is building something special here in Issaquah. Support small local business owners and gain a community!

Dana Reinert: Great slow-flow Sunday PM class with Alyssa. I’ve been looking for a slower, more mindful practice that still gives me great movement, and Alyssa’s Yin/Yang class on Sunday PM at 5:30 was fantastic! If you’re looking for a slow vinyasa and yin poses, a dose of wisdom, and a welcoming environment at all levels, check this one out. I live in Ballard but I’ll be coming back!

Liudmyla Kozynska: This place is awesome! For every level of your yoga knowledge. Very powerful atmosphere. Yoga instructor experienced, super friendly and respectful.

Danielle Fleumer: If you are looking for a yoga studio, this is a great choice whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner. I have been practicing yoga for over a decade; have been to multiple studios across Seattle, the Eastside, and the country; been in yoga teacher trainings; etc. and I can honestly say that Spira is one of the best in the area. And as an avid jiujitsu practitioner, I can say that yoga really compliments the sport. So thankful for Spira Yoga!

Elizabeth Wyosnick: This studio is a gem!! If you have not experienced a gong sound bath, run, do not walk to Guru Gayatri for this not-to-be-missed experience.Guru Gayatri experienced teachers bring their own special spark to kundalini yoga and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. In addition to targeted yoga poses, there is an emphasis on meditation and breathing exercises. Lots of conscious breathing. As a Vipassana meditator, I recognized the immediacy and effectiveness of Kundalini yoga, and am now a regular practitioner. Highly recommend.

Sonam Singh: I love this yoga studio. I have taken classes with Arzu, Ashish, Anja, and some other teachers and always had a great time.

Gilberto Silva: It was really a nice experience. Instructor Ashish we was super good, for a beginner like me, he was helpful and welcoming. The environment with other people was awesome.

She is authentic, fun, and intune with our bodily landscape in its totality. Both emotionally and physically! I haven't taken a class with her yet where I haven't continuously smiled! Meg M: I love Ginning Yogi. In a city that is packed full of yoga studios, Grinning has been my favorite from the very first class I took there. Warmth, generosity, kindness, humor. Grinning is the place you turn for all of this goodness while also having a safe environment to move your body.If you haven't had a chance to check out their online classes, do yourself a favor. They're amazing. Or check out the variety of other ways they offer to practice safely - small groups, outdoors, etc. When the Grinning doors fully open again - and they will - treat yourself to classes there. Shambhala Meditation Center of Seattle: what do users think?

Alex Lofton: Such a welcoming environment for a meditation novice such as myself. I recommend checking out their weekly public sittings if you’re new to practice.

Sara Jensen: No big deal. crazy wisdom abides. just come sit and be open😌Find others in community. family day 1st Sunday of each month. pls rsvp on website calendar.Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche brought Buddhism from Tibet founding Naropa University and establishing the Shambhala Training method.Among his contributions are the introduction of the Vajrayana teachings to the West, and a presentation of the Buddhadharma largely devoid of ethnic trappings.

Noe Khalfa: The Shambhala Meditation Center of Seattle has been an incredibly helpful resource in my life. I loved it when I first stepped in the doors for an open house about 12 years ago and I still sit with the friendly community almost every week. If you’re looking for a non-judgmental place to come practice meditation no matter what your beliefs or background, you’ve found the right place

Be Yoga Burien: what do users think?

Aakash Rami: Отличная студия йоги. Я был в городе и смог продолжить практику горячей йоги. Я прошел курс горячей виньясы и курс горячей хатхи. Хорошее обучение и хорошие условия с душем!

Alyesha Asghar: Потрясающий классПонравилась атмосфера, другие ученики и тренировки.

Lisa Garza:

Paul Tonella: Truly enjoy yoga here. The staff and teachers are friendly and supportive and inspiring. The studio is in great shape.

Nathalie Doyle: Have been to many different yoga studios and this one is by far one of my favorites! Quality and very knowledgeable instructors.

Cathy Macy: BeYoga is an amazing studio ! It has such a wonderful feeling of community and friendships 😊

ashley soushek: Friendly staff, great facilities. Knowledgeable staff.

Amy Bui: I've been a member at Be Yoga for almost two years now. I love this studio and would be very sad if I had to move or change studios! I only take Hot Fusion & Hot Hatha and enjoy the different teaching styles of each instructor. BYB offers a great selection of classes and times, so you can choose classes that work with your schedule or with your preferred instructors quite easily. Reserving classes is also super easy on their website.

Ivy Le: Everyone at the studio is absolutely wonderful. They’re like my 2nd family since I practice 5 to 6 times a week.

Erin Rader: Beautiful space located near shops and restaurants in cute downtown Burien. Great variety of classes and every instructor I’ve taken a class with has been amazing.

Alexandra Thompson: Update: Even after all this time - still by far my favorite yoga studio in the area.So far I’ve taken about 10 classes at BYB. I’ve loved every one. I think I’ve taken the same instructor twice? But each one has been so encouraging, grounded, and GENUINE. That’s the word. Genuine. I love how each instructor has remembered people’s names and makes a point to use their name whenever they can. At first that can be off-putting, but the smiles on everyone’s faces tells a different story. The community here is real. It’s definitely addictive especially after such a long time without any true sense of community. And on to the actual classes - they WILL work you. But are so encouraging throughout. I’ve never felt like I’ve been pushed too hard or not hard enough. They are nuanced in the way they teach and it’s so balanced for all those who practice.Definitely looking forward to going to more classes as my job stays relatively remote in the future! I will say that’s been one blessing, being able to find more community through the time I’m at home. 💕💕

Andrew Leyva: This studio is a yoga paradise if you like to get down with the yoga and flexibility, strength, and fun! It's clean spacious and the staff goes through all the extra effort to hold space for every student. Thanks BYB!

Jennifer Olson: Be Yoga Burien is like a home away from home. I didn't realize how much I was missing community until I set foot in the Be Yoga studio. I was warmly greeted by Jackson at the front desk alongside Ashley, one of the rockstar teachers. I instantly felt apart of something bigger! The classes have a great flow and cadence, the instructors are knowledgable and cater to all levels while the space exudes all are welcome!

Richard Hatcher: Perfect yoga studio to practice your breath, movement and peace.

Katie Tran: I seriously love this place! I have been practicing Vinyasa Yoga for about 3 years and this studio has the best flows! Each teacher has different sequences so you aren't repeating the same flow everyday like most mainstream studios. Team is friendly, welcoming and encouraging. I hope to come here for a long time.

Ambre Music: , the teacher and sequencing, and the music!! The music was loud and upbeat and singing together at the end was spesh! I'll be back! xo
