Guru Gayatri Kundalini Yoga & Meditation – Fremont: what do users think?

gail bennett: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Heather Sostarich: Loved this entire experience!!! I’ve gone three times. I do not want it to end

Bethlehem Lebneh: and movements that will provide a result, you lie down for a few listening to some great music

Diane Graves: Best classes ever. Sada's kundalini yoga classes are transforming! I love the gong, sound healing.

Wendy Neely: Guru Gayatri is like a spa for the soul. Sada shares his wisdom and heart in every class. You move, you laugh and relax in every class. We always leave feeling 10X better than we walked in.

K DAVIS: all of the above. This might sound strange but there is a purpose to all of it that leads into a deeper mediation. All meditations are preceded by a gong sound bath to realign a person on a cellular level. If you have not experienced a gong sound bath, run, do not walk to Guru Gayatri for this not-to-be-missed experience.Guru Gayatri experienced teachers bring their own special spark to kundalini yoga and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. A beautiful way to check it out is by going to the Sunday morning class at the Fremont Abbey. Not only is this a beautiful space usually reserved for musicians

Carolyn Anderson: . Sada Simran studied with Yogi Bhanjan

Natalia Ustiantseva: Awesome, fantastic, beautiful yoga classes! So grateful that they are exist! Kundalini yoga ginios system by itself but provide and develop this amazing technique it’s a big job and Guru Gayatri doing it perfectly! Thank you!

Anna Reedy: Repeatedly profound experiences with this yoga! Thank you!!

Katie Sedgwick: I have been practicing yoga at Guru Gayatri for 2 years. It has become a second home and family. All of the teachers are excellent. Sada has been teaching for decades and fills every class with wisdom, charm, and a deep knowledge and respect for Kundalini Yoga.Kundalini Yoga at Guru Gayatri has been a turning point in both me, and my husband's lives. It has provided us with the tools and tribe to change the trajectory of our lives. We are both in the best physical shapes of our lives, and it has done wonders to strengthen our relationship.

FGA: Great teachers, energy, space and gongs!

Jennifer Ducharme: Kundalini will transform your life, working on a energetic level, I can come to class feeling down , and by the end of class I am feeling renewed, balanced, and relaxed, Sada and Cindy are the best! Such great people here!

Kathryn Miller: I have been attending classes since early 2016. This yoga has transformed my life in ways I didn't know were possible.Sada is a warm and wise teacher with a sense of humor that keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously.Cindi makes every student a part of a greater family and community.I am so grateful that I found this technology, sense of peace, and supportive community!

Marilyn Smith: Kundalini Yoga is surprisingly different than other yogas. The yoga center Guru Gayatri focuses on the whole system- mind, body and spirit to a great effect. In addition to targeted yoga poses, there is an emphasis on meditation and breathing exercises. Lots of conscious breathing. As a Vipassana meditator, I recognized the immediacy and effectiveness of Kundalini yoga, and am now a regular practitioner. Highly recommend.

Seattle Yoga Arts: what do users think?

Khalif A.: Fantastic experience! Really relaxing & feel more stretched than I have in a while

Angelica Gutierrez: Fantastic class… deep stretches… perfect!

Pierre Bradette: A great studio with fantastic teachers - all very skilled with years of experience. Great place to immerse yourself in yoga and learn at your own pace. The instructors meet you where you are at in terms of ability and skill. They will challenge you in a way that prioritizes what is safe and what you are ready for.

Feven H: I took a noon class, fundamentals with Kathryne Bouchard. Such a beautiful flow. Challenging but gentle. It didn't feel like I was working hard, more like traveling/exploring in my body. Abs were very sore next day lol. I recommend! Thank you Seattle Arts.

Jordan Kump: Fantastic local studio. Ellen in particular is an amazing teacher. The free to use mats, props, and water is so convenient. If you haven't tried one of their classes, sign up today!

Lauren Cree: I was devastated when my beloved "yoga home", Sutra in Wallingford, closed its doors a few years ago. Began my search and upon a friend's recommendation took a couple of classes at SYA. Well.....the rest as they say is history. Beautiful space, warm and welcoming staff and teachers who really know their stuff, innovative and supportive styles of classes for all levels/moods, and a lovely and diverse community.

Mauricio Borges: Best place to do traditional Yoga in Seattle

S Antupit: SYA is Seattle's most wonderful community, studio, and teacher training resource.

Michelle Peterson: I have been a student since 2002. There is no other studio I've been so at home in.

Be Luminous Yoga: what do users think?

Sherry Q: I am sad that it closed, I have been to this studio for 5 months and fell in love with yoga again. Both Micheal and Ashish really helped me building strength and stretching my body to the point that I don't have any back pain anymore and did a first ever handstand in my life. My husband started going there too, and it helped his back pain as well. I strongly recommend Micheal and Ashish's class. Micheal currently is not teaching anymore, but Ashish is still teaching. I really miss Micheal's class, I hope she can start teaching somewhere closer to SLU again, Please come back!

Gavi Franco: or

Neil Thawani: I traveled to Seattle for work and decided to drop into a yoga studio for two weeks. Little did I know I would find a tribe of some of the friendliest, most competent, and impressive yogis I have ever witnessed. It was a pleasure to be on the mat with the teachers and fellow students of BLY.

Jennifer Huber: I took a zoom class with Ashish and I highly recommend that you do too while we are practicing from wherever we are under quarantine. His teaching is effective and powerful and his cueing is clear and effective. I highly recommend checking him out with their zoom yoga offerings or go see him in person if you live in the Seattle area.

Peter Feysa: Favorite yoga spot.

Marcus: Dropped in for a class while visiting Seattle. Very aesthetically pleasing, clean studio. Instruction was also quality.

Psy Zhou: One of the best yoga studios in Seattle! Cozy and right in downtown!

Aline Altmann: Great classes, very demanding but still feasible for all levels since teachers would always give different options. Temperature of the heated classes is not too hot - overall a great experience and definitely recommended

Aimee Leong: Best yoga studio I've been to. Teachers are passionate, calm but not over-bearing.

Jonathan: You'll be hurting, in the best ways possible! Good skill range and schedule!

Irene Brown: Great

Lauren Whiddon: Some of the classes are too crowded for my taste. I love the combination lockers they have.

Modo Yoga Seattle: what do users think?

Maggie Astolfi: .

Rani Zimand: I love this studio. Creative and attentive instructors + free mat rentals if you bike-so awesome!

Michael Doquilo: Pranify has been great! I’ve been enjoying the classes a lot.

Bridgit Montgomery: I really enjoy practicing at Pranify! The lobby is a cozy, welcoming space, the locker room has all the amenities I need to shower and get ready for work and the practice space is large and clean. I'm a fan of Bekah and Greta in particular but have loved every class I've taken. Pranify definitely believes in community and I look forward to spending more time there on and off my mat! Thank you 😊

Olivia Moskowitz: Love this studio! The instructors are great and the space is beautiful.

Oren Levy: Great yoga location. Teachers are friendly and helpful. Easy to sign up for classes and a good range of classes as well. I very much recommend Peabody

Ellen Bruchmiller: I've been loving Pranify lately! It is a small studio, but they have a good variety of classes. Beautiful space and all the instructors have been great. Main reason for 4 stars is that the studio itself tends to get pretty smelly, which is not surprising given that it's hot yoga, but I have been to other hot yoga studios that didn't seem to have that problem. I also got spoiled having a good friend that was an exceptional yoga instructor, so my bar for class quality is extremely high. But overall, I would definitely recommend Pranify and I will be going back for the foreseeable future!

Logan Fitzgerald: A great overall experience! I'm new to Yoga and everyone being so friendly and inviting has really helped me feel like a part of the community. Every class has been great and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and I'm excited to continue to try all the different types of classes they offer.

Hannah Reilly: I’ve taken classes with Jodi, Chelsey, and Tami who are all wonderful teachers. The classes are very flowy and the staff create a warm atmosphere. The building is spacious and comfortable, it feels like a place run by people who love and care about yoga!

Natalie Dostoomian: I love going to Pranify to warm up on a chilly seattle morning. It is a welcoming and comfortable space

Joely Hannan: Hot yoga studio with great vibes in Greenlake! I've tried lots of studios traveling for work and this is a consistent favorite. There's good variety in classes for finding what you're looking for, awesome instructors, and the way the room is heated is comfortable!

Abbi Nussbaum: one of my favorite yoga studios in seattle! classes are the perfect temperature super hot, flows are always fun and challenging, and all the instructors i've taken are so welcoming and helpful for my practice!

S Young: I've attended Tami's and Chloe's classes for the past year and find them to be phenomenal yoga instructors - kind, knowledgeable, challenging in all the best ways. Staff in general have handled any issues/queries with openness, understanding and so much compassion. Great facility as well. I looks forward to coming every week to inprove my healtg.

Jenny Cugier: Pranify yoga has been such a game changer for me; I feel strong, zen and empowered! Love this place ♥️

Karin Stevens: LOVE this studio. Energy of staff, the aesthetics of the space, showers, and the HOT room. It is like a warm hug when you walk into the silent room and prepare to meet a thoroughly engaging power flow and flow. I like a 60 min class. And there are many daily options. And a 75 min if you need it. Teachers are very thoughtful and offer more than just movement, they offer teachings for life. I am a long-time yoga practitioner and am comfortable jumping into anything, but I wonder if these classes would be challenging for new practitioners to learn the poses. I've only taken The Roots class once and look forward to taking it more. Perhaps this is a class for newer yogis. Overall I am SO happy to be back in a yoga community. It has been a long time! And I also really like their online class schedule booking site! So easy to book and reschedule if needed. And they offer great workshop offerings. Thank you Pranify.

Julia Ginder: Love the variety of classes here and the beautiful facilities. It’s also so convenient for those in the Green Lake area.

Lizzy Canarie: Pranify has made me fall in love with hot yoga again.

Sohyun Park: Great yoga studio! I love that it is warm, but not too hot to complete your 1 hr yoga class. Highly recommend!

Brianna Foley: I've really enjoyed classes at Pranify. Each teacher brings something different to the class and the environment has been inviting and warm.

The Heart Center: what do users think?

Monica Dawn: To me The Heart Center is a place of peace. It's a place where I go to feel okay. This is the best yoga center I've ever been to. The studio is clean and everyone is kind. The owner, Faith, is incredible and teaches with compassion and acceptance. I also particularly love any class with Ki! Flow & Restore is the best. If you haven't tried out this studio - you ought to!

Lara Shackelford: Great classes, spiritual studio, excellent founder/studio owner

Stephanie Pavlovcik: This is my favorite kind of yoga studio: one where your spiritual practice is just as important as your physical one. Amazing instructors, amazing community. Cannot say better things about the Heart Center!

Elisabeth Orr: I have really enjoyed my experience at The Heart Center. I am healing from an injury and was feeling a “bit out of practice”, but The Heart Center was so mindful to this and I always felt welcomed. I love that they incorporate many limbs of yoga with each practice and there is a wonderful sense of community.

Travis Dailey: The Heart Center, true to it's name, centers heart and love for self, others, and community. So do teachers and practitioners. I'm deeply grateful to have found a place that values heart work and builds community through various disciplines and practices. It feels like home, especially if you're looking for more than just a place to do yoga. It's more than that: it's a place to connect with and nurture body and heart.

Kayla Board: Heart Center is my favorite! It’s so much more than a yoga studio it’s truly a place to cultivate community. I’ve loved every class or event I’ve been to!

James Simas: This place is great. The owner Faith us a fantastic instructor; one of the best I've been fortunate to have.Everybody is so friendly here.Highly recommended!

Gaby Adam: I am very selective about my yoga studio and instructors, and The Heart Center is great. After the studio that I used to practice in shut down due to the pandemic, I was in dire need of a new yoga studio. Thanks to a tip from a friend, I found this lovely place. Nice welcoming atmosphere, kind and knowledgeable instructors, beautiful and spacious studio. The classes I have taken from both Faith and Indigo have left me inspired, calm and grounded. I am so grateful to have discovered this place and highly recommend it.

Robert Dietrich: Yoga isn’t exercise, though it can feel that way. If you’re looking for the fire not just in the body, but in the mind and in the heart, this place is for you. A great blend of styles offered, everything from Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, et al on into more progressive fusion styles, they're all offered here. A golden thread across all sessions offered would be the intention of the practices channeled through all the wonderful instructors who’ve enlisted at this studio. Everyone subscribes to the ethos and values of the studio, and bring years of experience of focused practice to each session – body, heart and mind in an authentic and pragmatic way. Not too in the ether, not to formulaic and flat-footed, every session offers opportunity for practitioners, both beginning and seasoned, to find their edge and open a little further. Go a little deeper. Connect a little more. Very accessible and as challenging as you want it to be. Also, I think a core value of community is really apparent both in how everyone shows up here and the programming and workshops offered. Lots of enriching opportunities to connect, enliven and go deeper in the context of community with a great group of like-minded souls: seekers abound. Nice location in a vibrant area of Seattle. The space itself has a lot of warmth. So, if you’re in for great yoga, great people, in an enlightened and balanced environment with lots of smiles and vibes, this is a great place to explore!

Mikaela Carbajal: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI am very grateful for the Heart Center. The space is full of life and vibrant. I learn something unique from each teacher. I feel free to practice with an open heart and mind when I am at the Heart Center.

Lauryn Macauley: Positive:Quality

Jo-Ann Questad: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThis place has been a life saver for me during COVID and beyond by offering the online option. I love the talent that each teacher offers and that it offers different time slots to meet most people’s busy schedule. My physical body has become more fit since I joined the monthly membership. I highly recommend it.

J Macauley: Positive:Professionalism,QualityAwesome instructors esp Faith and Jon. The yoga studio is large and open and is a great place on the south side if you’re looking for some good yoga.

matt cone: As it’s name implies. The heart center balances

Sanctuary: what do users think?

Adriana Ramirez: I've been coming here for about a year now and am SO sad they will be closing till May! 💔 I have the membership plan and was about to really throw myself in starting new year but I guess not! I love it here and hope the new place will be just as great....please open sooner I'm gonna miss you guys!

Avery Stratton: Our group had such a blast here for a bachelorette party. The host was warm, inviting, and kind. The space was serene and grounding. Highly recommend!

Christian Warren: Awesome place, awesome experience! If you’re looking for something new and unique experience in the world of yoga, this is definitely the place to go.It’s also currently unique to Seattle! So if you’re just visiting, I recommend getting this in! I did, and no regrets. Absolutely gorgeous and fun, and got me actually interested in practicing yoga

Catherine Edwards: One of my favorite places to be for a great detox. The facility is always so clean and relaxing! The staff are so sweet and amazing! Smiles all around for Modo!

Rainier Aliment: Really special place to experience guided breathwork!Every detail of the space has been thoughtfully designed and put together. Very supportive and healing.I'll be back!

Doug Lyon: Had a great experience, and will certainly be back. Wish that there were more of these around the city/state/along the west coast.

Mafara Hobson: This was an AMAZING experience. The facility is luxurious yet simple with the inviting relaxing feel of a spa with minimalist and sustainable undertones. The vibe is incredibly chill and calming with subtle notes of fragrant aromatics. The class sessions are led by instructors who deliver dialogue that is easy to follow, offers safe alignment cues and alternative asana positions to increase or decrease intensity.

Lee Kindell: Wow. Unexpected! I hesitantly went thinking 50 bucks is a bit much for one visit , after the experience, I realized how wrong I was. Walking through the door is entering what you’d imagine a place that is supposed to transport you , to be, from decor to custom scented space and calm environment. The cleanliness is a solid “10” The “ Docent” , the one who tends to you is well trained , friendly and knowledgeable. It was a fully customizable experience . I did not realize how distracted I was in a regular yoga class , vs being focused solely on myself and the instructor . This is the FUTURE of wellness , I highly recommend at least trying it once . You’ll probably change your mind , just like I did . Peace!

Julia T: This place is amazing! I have brought several girlfriends here and my boyfriend-- all loved it equally. The personal customization is one of my favorite features about this place. You get to pick the class, the music, the temperature and whether you want scents or not.Update: I expressed my concerns with my last visit here and was reached out by the team almost immediately. I appreciate the fact that they read their reviews and will note the feedback they receive. It is so rare for me to see a business care and try to rectify their guests negative experience and try to make it positive. Thanks Sanctuary Team!

Robin Williams: Amazing! Will definitely be back!

Smeeta: recommended so I decided to try this on a wet, cold Sunday afternoon

Rebeka: Sanctuary is the most incredible yoga/meditation studio out there. The thoughtful design of the entire space makes you feel like the most special person in the world. Taking a class there is such a treat. The flows are creative and challenging enough to get you out of your head and present at the moment. Can’t recommend it enough.

Evanjelina Alejandre: I had the most incredible experience. I’ve had such a stressful month and needed to find a place to escape to. I downloaded the app and booked my first appt. I was running 5 minutes late due to not being able to find the location. I walked in the door frazzled and stress. I was welcomed in by Elizabeth who immediately put me at ease. She welcomed me in with the warmest energy. The session was like no other. Your completely immersed into your meditation. I was able to silence my mind and focus with no distractions. When the session ended i took a session and was able to relax and unwind in the comfort of my own studio. After the session ended i walked back up front and was given some recommendations from Elizabeth for my next visit after i told her my experience and what i wanted the next time i came in. I’m 100% coming back. I’m so grateful that i found this place, it truly felt like my sanctuary.

Audrey Perkins: Very serene, great instruction. The setup was seamless and the environment welcoming. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy luxurious vibes 👌🏻

Katlen Tillman: It is everything the name is

Thais: My new favorite place! The amount of joy I have going Sanctuary... the whole experience gives you nothing but joy!

Janice Jimenez: ! If I could afford it, I would take class here every day!!!!

Courtney Jordan: This is just heaven! Private and totally customizable yoga studio in a beautifully designed space!
