We loved the secret bridal/groom suites, which made it convenient for us to take a breather during the chaos of the night.2

The people were wonderfully helpful and kind, the park was a fantastic place to hold the ceremony, and the reception venue was perfect! It’s such a great space that requires little extra decorating. We got the candle package and had flower arrangements on the tables, and it was perfect! Our guests raved about the delicious food, the rooms to get ready in were so comfortable and creative, and the service was fantastic. Overall, it was all so great and Imperia was the best place we could have chosen to get married!

Months later we tasted the food. We were a little nervous that we’d booked the venue without knowing what the included food tasted like. And oh my. We ended up adding more options than we initially planned because everything was so delicious! It was so good that some of our guests wanted to come back and have a dinner after the wedding! We got so much good feedback about the venue, the location with views of the water, and the food from all our guests. Lastly, the people. Tasia and JJ were one of the best parts of the venue. The amount they love the space, the patience they had answering all our questions, how much they wanted to constantly help make it the wedding of our dreams. This place has the whole package.
Joseph Orefice: This venue was an easy choice for our wedding. The vibe, nice bathrooms with gender neutrality option, amazing get ready spaces, wonderful staff, beautiful and flexible/spacious layout, and LGBTQ inclusivity really stood out for us. The working sessions to confirm details, build the timeline of what happens when, and table layout was a huge timesaver for us. The food tasting session exceeded our expectations, and made us so excited for everyone to enjoy the menu. We were so pleased with how easy the team accommodated changes, how quickly they responded to any inquiries, and helped us to be prepared. They clearly worked hard to ensure our wedding day went as planned. Overall, we really can’t think of anything we would have liked the venue staff to do differently. The day was everything we had hoped and planned for.
Emily Wise: the decor is top notch! It is a DANCE VENUE! We couldn't have hosted the dance party we did without the space of Imperia. It was idyllic. From the very beginning, JJ and Tasia were so communicative, accommodating, and focused on creating the event of our dreams! JJ's flowers matched the paper products my mom made PERFECTLY. It made for such a cohesive, polished look. Tasia was so flexible with our "alternative " requests for a private dinner in the back

She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and detailed in explaining how each dish was prepared. It was an unbelievable experience, and if you visit, make sure to ask for her. She will give you a dining experience like no other. The highlight of my visit was definitely her service.The food was outstanding. We tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the mimosas, which came in different flavors and were delightful. The salmon was incredibly flavorful, and the appetizers were amazing. Every aspect of my dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.A special thanks to Chrissy for her phenomenal service and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. She truly elevated the art of serving to a whole new level. I would also like to mention the manager who came to our table; it was a nice touch. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars because five stars are simply not enough for this exceptional restaurant.

Mary Wynn: 30 years ago, minus 2 days, we had our wedding reception at Saltys. We stopped by today on our way home from a night in Seattle and decided to swing through West Seattle. Randomly, we thought we would step into Saltys for some random skyline photos, then it dawned on us..our anniversary was 2 days away. We had not planned on staying but they were so great and we thought it was very nostalgic. Mara the manager treated us like royalty. She sprinkled the table with rose petals, gave us a signed staff congratulations card, drinks on the house, cake to die for and John F, the server was a top notch professional. There is a reason we had spent so much time there through the years, but this day was over the top special and the staff sealed the deal. We have been away too long. One of the photos was from 30 years ago. Thank you John F and Mara.
Andy Derscheid: Always a great experience here, for locals and tourists alike. You can't beat the view and the service, and the food and presentation match its quality. Plenty of fresh seafood and excellent steaks. Definitely get the seafood chowder no matter what you order. Solid cocktails and truly top notch service. All in all a fantastic experience.Parking: There is on-site parking but the spots are small, so leave the full size trucks at home.

Emerson Butler: and was so knowledgeable and friendly!Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, made fantastic recommendations, and just provided some of the best service we have ever had.Even Benny the busboy was right on time to clear our appetizer plates and other dishes! If your busboy has made it into my review you have really made good hiring choices!!And that’s just the people. The FOOD. The food was to die for. To start we got the Thai chili prawns, and the moved on to a crab-stuffed sturgeon and a halibut with mushroom risotto. To finish up we got a crème brûlée and the delicious cake you can see in the photos
Kennedy Farmer: This is my first review I’ve ever left because it was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and all the staff there made it feel so special! The food and views were great, I highly recommend the crab stuffed steelhead! Our server Ignacio was super friendly and patient when we were being indecisive about how to start our orders. This is a great place to go for a special occasion, we will definitely be returning!

Stefan & Audrey: We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.

Mark Lucht: Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.

The food delicious, with guests coming up to us during our reception to remark on their dinner. Everyone we worked with the HF team was so helpful and focused on guest experience. From our initial tasting, to our coordinator Mary, to the team that shows up day-of, you felt taken care of and like this team has thought of everything to do with food/guest service. Special shout-out to our server Sally, who was so kind throughout the day.It was their first time catering at our venue, but you’d think it was the 100th. The HF team is a well-oiled machine and will carry your day off excellently!

The owner, BJ, is an incredibly kind, professional, attentive, hardworking, and just all around lovely human being. Every interaction with him and his team left us feeling reassured, cared for, and confident about having them on our vendor team. They were not only accommodating of all of our requests but went the extra mile and made sure we had options to choose from even when requesting modifications. They also handled abrupt COVID-related changes to our wedding seamlessly and made us feel supported every step of the way. Every staff member working that day was professional, caring, and wonderful. Most importantly, the food on our wedding day, was delicious, beautiful, and loved by all of our guests. Our salad was a piece of art that BJ decorated with edible flowers from his own garden. I mean..come on! If you want a caterer that cares about your wedding and will wow your guests, HF is the way to go!
Allie Goodman: We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue!! The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to do it. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails it with their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Food was super important to us and they delivered. I highly recommend both The Foundry and Herban Feast!

Our coordinator, Kate, was so responsive and flexible. The catering staff were not only talented, but were great during our tasting dinner. They helped us create the perfect menu and select the perfect drinks! Lastly, but most certainly not least, the night of staff were FABULOUS. I've never met such a nice bunch of folks! The bartenders, attendants, kitchen staff, everyone. They were not just polite and professional, but were sincerely pleasant and not robotic or anything like that.The venue is, of course, beautiful. We had no issues with the venue and it was very pretty, even without decoration or flowers. But dang, the staff!!!! You have a good group of people, Herban Feast. BJ and his crew had great communication the week of my wedding and on the day of it was like meeting an old friend, instantly putting me at ease. All our guests loved the menu and the food, fresh ingredients and tasteful presentation sealed the success of dinner. We did go over budget but it was worth it and I have no regrets. I would choose Herban Feast again for my next event. I also used Herban Bloom for my bouquet and boutonnières which BJ also owns and they came out lovely and I received lots of compliments on the flowers as well! Class act!

Day of, their staff is professional, responsive, and flexible and they truly helped make our day one to remember. Judy Temes: We can't thank BJ and the Herban Feast crew enough for everything they did to make our daughter's dream wedding come true, making it the most beautiful event imaginable. But first, a story. First there was Covid, which necessitated a smaller event than planned. Then came the fires in eastern Washington, where we planned to host about 100 people. With three weeks to go before the big day, all our plans had to be changed and moved to Seattle. BJ came to the rescue, finding us the most amazing venue -- Amor & Paz on Vashon Island. All our guests agreed that we could not have found a more gorgeous setting had we started planning three years before! And BJ secured this beautiful garden wedding just three weeks before our guests were to arrive. Beyond this, BJ worked with our daughter whose wish was to have her friends camp out. He made this dream come true as well. On top of this, he worked with us to help us fit the whole thing into our budget. On the day of the event, the crew was diligent, professional, and super nice! The food was over the top delicious. Every guest said this was honestly the best, most beautiful wedding they've attended. BJ, Lisa and everyone, you are the best and we owe you a huge debt of gratitude for making our daughter's dream wedding happen.

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.
Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

After figuring out I wasn't and opened the door - it is literally like walking into another universe just simply by opening the door. Every room is different with its own art style. Lighting was exceptional with all the windows drawing in the outside light. It is very beautiful to have a small wedding here.

Upon arrival, you're greeted with tiny portraits with your party name, flowers, and a delightful amuse-bouche, plus some seriously tasty sourdough – some of the best in Washington!Every dish is a masterpiece, carefully crafted with a burst of flavors and textures that'll make your taste buds dance. Got a little bit sad because they don't offer cocktails, just wine and champagne.But let's talk dessert – hands down the best in the USA. Everything was just lovely and delicious. Perfect for a date night. Downside, was only that if your table is located near the big window room, the person facing the window have to deal with car beams flashing from the street through the windows, they should put a curtain or semi transparent barrer. Overall? It is worth it for an unforgettable traditional, formal dining experience. Comparing Seattle prices, this place charges an honest amount of money for the high quality they are serving. I'm amazed how the gastronomic critics and Seattle food guides barely mention this place.

Kate Dahl: If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!!We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with.The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us.We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue.It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives!Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

Extremely well-organized, made sure we stayed on top of everything, and ran the wedding itself so smoothly we didn't have to even think about lifting a finger. The property itself is just gorgeous, the staff is all so friendly, and the in-house catering is DELICIOUS. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from guests on how good dinner was. They have great indoor and outdoor space, an integrated sound system for a DJ to plug into, and really fun vintage decor. This gorgeous venue is full of charm and history and highly customizable for events big and small. We immediately fell in love with the brick walls, paper lanterns and other thoughtful details throughout the space. The food and drinks were excellent -- the chef even helped us make a custom Bob’s Burgers style “burger of the day” as one of our appetizers.But what makes Georgetown Ballroom truly special are the wonderful people who work there. We worked primarily with Nancy Neyhart for more than a year to make every detail perfect. Nancy was responsive to my many, many questions, transparent with us about costs and allowed us to tour the venue multiple times as we were planning our decorations and details. Nancy and the team at Georgetown did more than help us plan a wedding -- they helped us share our love story.And I can’t go without mentioning the massive hiccup Nancy helped us navigate. On our wedding day, my husband woke up sick, and for more than a few moments, I thought we were going to have to cancel. But the Georgetown Ballroom team went above and beyond to ensure everything went according to schedule. Nancy helped keep me calm, and even brought my husband cold packs and ginger beer in his getting ready suite.We would recommend Georgetown Ballroom a hundred times over for all types of events. We will be forever grateful to Nancy and her team for her care and dedication to making our wedding happen.

Danielle was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and flexible -- it was always clear that her first priority was for our event to be successful and our guests to enjoy their time. It was a joy planning our event down to the smallest detail together. The night-of staff made sure the night ran so smoothly and created a warm & inviting atmosphere. We could not thank Georgetown Ballroom enough for all their help. They took care of so much of the logistics, allowing us to focus on our program and meeting with our guests. Sandy Cho: Crème brûlée was the highlight of my meal. The bone in ribeye had a lot of flavor and was good, but it had a lot of bone in an odd shape to maneuver around. The loaded baked potato was good and they even split it for the two of us. The brussels sprouts were also good - it's a pretty big portion even for two people to share. The lobster bisque was very shellfish flavorful, more than others I've tried so we didn't eat most of it. Thanks to our server Victoria, it was a very pleasant dinner.

Kim Stirling: The co-working space at Columbia Tower Club is expansive. If you need quiet, there are plenty of rooms to choose from while enjoying the views. If you’d like to be more ‘in the mix’ while getting work done, there is a large space dedicated to socializing, co-working and enjoying a meal. The staff are dedicated to ensuring members and guests have everything they need. I have always felt very welcome and downright pampered. If you are looking for a space away from the home office that has incredible views, plenty of space to get work done and impress clients/guests then this is the spot for you!

Tom Elwood: Upstairs is busy, no reservations, was full at 5 pm. Staff obviously work hard and are efficient and pleasant.The beet salad with citrus was particularly colorful, flavorful and fresh - I hope it makes it onto the regular menu.The King Salmon with beurre blanc was filling and perfectly cooked and deliciously fresh. So were the scallops.The "Smokey Jim" lime and bitters was pleasant with a complex flavor that complimented the seafood.The decor doesn't look like it's changed for 40 years, but the view is a really pleasant panorama of Puget sound, so you're not looking at the decor much anyways.
