Six Seven restaurant: what do users think?

ArcAngel: Beautiful view, delicious coffee and delightful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Not too pricey either!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options on their breakfast menu such as waffles, french toast, bagels, parfait, omelets and pastries!!

Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

Jay X.: , she forgot about us again and never came to pick it back up. At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Purple Cafe and Wine Bar: what do users think?

Andrea: Food was great! Definitely recommend.Recommended dishes Spicy Prawns, Chopped Salad …

Monika Singh: Celebrated my bday and it was an exquisite experience. The ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of options available on the menu. From flavorful salads to creative vegetable-based entrees, Purple catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality. The wine selection was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable.Overall, my visit to Purple Cafe and Wine Bar surpassed my expectations, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their delectable offerings again.

Steven Zopfi: We’ve eaten at Purple a couple of times now and we’ve been impressed with the service and the consistent quality of the food. The decor is urban chic with an impressive wine tower that dominates the great room. I started with a Purple salad which was delicious. I moved on to one of the dinner specials, which the night I was there was a mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. It was rich but delicious. The proximity to theaters and the quality of the food and service make this attractive restaurant an easy choice for us when we visit Seattle to watch a show or a concert.

Caroline DeJong: Great happy hour and friendly service!

YVV Dude: I was there just for a drink and dessert. Staff are really friendly. Felt like home.Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible and spacious for wheel chair

Michael Urselmann: The large windows in the entrance area reminded us of Edward Hopper’s Night Owls. And let us see the cozy lit bar from outside. So: come in spontaneously and grab a seat at the bar. A friendly barman recommends one of five beers on tap. If you're feeling a little hungry, there's a delicious pizza bread with gorgonzola, pears and confit onions. Perfect start to a beautiful evening!

Canlis: what do users think?

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.

Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

Girish Shekhar: On my first visit to a fine dining establishment in Seattle, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Despite the set menu, the staff graciously accommodated our requests, showcasing their dedication to personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the valet and welcoming staff set the tone for a memorable evening. Each expertly prepared course was a masterful fusion of rich flavors, with every bite a testament to the chef's culinary artistry. The entire experience was a symphony of warmth, elegance, and gastronomic delight.Note : This is not a traditional dining experience in Seattle so make sure to dress up with suits, sport coat and dresses.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian set menu.

Chris Roach: Absolutely incredible dining experience. Was fortunate enough to attend a dinner lecture series in the upstairs section. Some of the most delicate and delicious cuisine I have ever had. Most amazing salmon I have ever tasted.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very considerate and careful to ask about dietary restrictions and offered vegetarian/options for their set menu

James Edward:

Single Shot: what do users think?

Jascha McPie: As a Eurotrash dude, this was the only place in a three month road trip that hit the vibe/quality/price mark exactly right.Taste-wise exactly right for the price. Just... yum and unpretentious in a good way.The service super personable without being... too American. The atmosphere 5/5.Just solid.

Laurent LATHIEYRE: .I had the housemade Focaccia

DC Thomas Given (dctg_): Yummy and metropolitan in the middle of Capital Hill. Great for our team event and easy to reserve our time there.I inspired a full round of dessert. And we were not disappointed!

Gavin Gee: European / Aussie neighborhood restaurant feel. Nice to see it surviving in Seattle.Duck flatbread was good. Pastry a little too crunchy but flavors good.Beet salad and asparagus were great. It is expensive.

Chaeliana: One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!

Emma Mrofchak: Such a great experience! I have never had such incredible service before. Their entire team seemed to work so well together and were always on top of refills, food and drink recommendations, clearing plates from the table, and timing for when they came by. We made a reservation for 6 for our friend’s birthday and they were so thoughtful, organized and accommodating. I loved the atmosphere, food, and drinks, but seriously the service was what put it over the top. Thanks for a great night!

Les Lautengco: The food is great eaten in or delivered. It may seem a little pricey, but it is well worth it for the flavors and quality ingredients used. If you like spice, the jambalaya is a great option. The shrimp and grits was suprisingly flavorful and my favorite. If you have a sweet tooth, the beignets are a must have.Parking: Limited parking around the restaurant because of its location in a busy area

El Gaucho: what do users think?

Bud Cashatt: Literally one of the best dining experiences you can have. Food is amazing, service is outstanding and they personalized our anniversary dinner. Highly recommended for special occasions.Dietary restrictions: If you call ahead they will source and prepare a halal steak for you!!

Chelle Allen: I rarely give 5 stars, and ElGaucho deserves 10. From the valet greeting, to the hostesses, the menu with my man’s name on it for his bday, to the perfect table overlooking the fire, to the rose petals on the cloth, to Luca, our server extraordinary. Wow! Our meal was perfectly prepared. Best steak I’ve had in Seattle. The two gentlemen who filled the water and cared for our table were attentive and friendly. Cesar and another person. When it came for dessert- which I saved room for- the bananas foster was prepared by Kirin, the GM. It was so smooth and delicious. Amazing. My guy got a tour of the kitchen he enjoyed and we may go back to learn how to prepare the bernaise sauce. So, if you have a chance - go. I will most definitely be back. Thank you, Luca, Kirin, and Cesar. I felt so beautiful and special last night. Jonathan too.

Julie Sturdivant: Top notch all the way. I typically do not like steak in restaurants as I feel there's nothing like getting a steak out of my freezer and making it myself. The chef at El Goucho knows how to cook a steak! And the banana foster...oh my, mouth watering!Parking: Quick and easy, they park and bring it back to you at the front door

Angelina: We visited El Gaucho for a birthday celebration and were pleasantly surprised by the rose petals on the table and the customized menu. Server was extremely knowledgeable, he mentioned he had chef experience and could guide us through recommendations, and very friendly, and food was very well cooked. The Caesar salad was a fun experience; it was served tableside and our server explained each ingredient as he added it. Prices are definitely on the high end, but we both considered it worthwhile for the quality.

Nicole Smith: My husband and I ended our trip with this dinner, and it was everything we could’ve wanted. Service is phenomenal, and all the food we ordered was amazing. Definitely start with the lemon beurre blanc scallops!

Le Pichet: what do users think?

Tiffany Jorgensen: I've been coming here for around twenty years. The food is always consistent and lovely. The service goes above and beyond. Granted this was about a decade ago, but one time my child left their bag and they held onto it till or next visit. Which was several weeks later. They have always done a great job, even when it's busy or the guest is less than stellar. So glad you guys didn't close. Thanks for everything. Your hard work is noticed and appreciated!

Hak Williams: What a gem. I believe this was Anthony Bourdain's favorite restaurant in Seattle. So French and simple and unassuming. If you love chocolate you can't leave Seattle without trying their hot chocolate. It's the most chocolate and heavy cream you can combine into one sip. You can go for a light lunch or a late breakfast or an afternoon coffee and dessert, or you can go for dinner. The whole chicken for two looks like a smart bed, and the fish is always a good idea. The charcuterie and cheese is also a winner. The steak frites was very good, but it doesn't beat an American Steakhouse kind of steak if that's what you are into. The wine by the glass is 4 or $5 more affordable than other nearby restaurants. In France this would be considered a bistro, which is on the more casual end of the spectrum. But there may be no exact equivalent to France because this place serves more than one function. It's a cafe, a bar, and a bistro. If you're in the area and need a little pick me up you can go in just for a hot chocolate or a coffee. Their espresso service is top notch. I was having dinner there late last night and a couple came in and just ordered a whiskey and a hot chocolate as their nightcap.

Michael Cook: First and foremost a restaurants priority is to serve good food, and this place made up for a multitude of sins by having really amazing, tasty, well prepared/seasoned food that is being done by a seriously competent back of house staff. I had the steak frites, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had, and was perfectly cooked rare to my preference. The chicken tartine was beautiful, my companion had the fish of the day and it was incredibly seasoned and sauced. Beautiful food. The service though was awful, we weren’t greeted for about 10 minutes in a tiny restaurant, all the staff looked at us but didn’t say anything. We were forgotten about a bit, the staff seemed more interested hanging out with the lush at the bar who seemed to be taking all the air out of the room.We asked for our bill, the server dropped it off, changed her clothes and left. We then waited half an hour to pay, and finally were acknowledged and told we had to give our cards to them, as if we should've known. The 20% automatic gratuity is a flaw, theres no motivation for the server to love the table and go the extra mile, they just phone it in. The way it’s put on the menu is that the customer is paying for their benefits and commission, and if we feel the service isn’t up to 20% it’s up to the customer to ask to have it removed. That’s just bad business and an unnecessary duty to put onto the customer. But the food was amazing, and that’s what’s important, and what saved the whole experience

Itto's Tapas: what do users think?

Smita Balasubramanian: .

Jan Wanot: Absolutely by far and away my favorite restaurant in West Seattle and honestly.... maybe all of Seattle!Perfect small plates, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. TRY IT!!!

C DeGuzman: . Only plus was a complimentary birthday mimosa.

Gwendolyn Jeffers: I had the absolute best experience at Charlotte restaurant and lounge. Once we got up to the 16th floor and found the restaurant, the hostess gave us a warm welcome and we asked her if there’s anyway we can sit by the windows and she sat us at a wonderful table with a stunning view. Timoteo was our server and his service was phenomenal. He gave wonderful suggestions regarding the menu and even went as far to write down some spots we should check out in the Seattle area before we leave. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely hospitable. Food was delicious, ambiance was amazing and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Oksana Mikhailenko: The views are stunning, the restaurant is beautiful, service was great and the brunch was delicious. Is the food overpriced? Sure. But you’re paying extra for the view and the building, really. I’m pretty picky, especially with food, and I thought everything tasted great and I would return in the future.Went back for drinks and dessert a few weeks later and we were blown away by the desserts. This restaurant is a must visit if you want to get wined and dined.

Katherine Tucker: My steak was so delicious and I loved the sauces that they included.

Michael Charlton: Excellent food as always, great spot for a special occasion with great views!Vegetarian options: While not an expansive vegetarian menu or selection what they do have is masterfully preparedDietary restrictions: Good gluten free, nut free, and vegan options

Alina Ivanov: We celebrated our 5-year anniversary, and for this special occasion, we chose Charlotte Restaurant. Nestled in the heart of Seattle, this gem offers an unparalleled dining experience that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with an ambiance that exudes elegance and warmth. The attention to detail in the decor sets the stage for what's to come—a feast for both the eyes and the palate. We started our culinary adventure with their appetizers: Oysters and Black Garlic Roasted Octopus. Then, diving into their entrées, we had Chilean Sea Bass and Gnocchi Seafood. And let's not forget dessert! Charlotte Restaurant's sweet offerings are a true delight; we had Araguani Chocolate Flourless Cake and Red Velvet Cake. But it's not just about the food at Charlotte Restaurant—it's about the experience. The impeccable service and attention to detail ensure that every visit is memorable, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out with friends. So, if you find yourself in Seattle craving a culinary adventure, be sure to add Charlotte Restaurant to your list. Trust us, you won't be disappointed!

Il Bistro: what do users think?

Will Davidson: Great ambience and great food and drinks. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had.

Emily Peters: I cannot speak highly enough about Il Bitstro. I have been to this restaurant twice and both times have been superb. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel at home. I am incredibly impressed with the service staff, especially since it was only our servers second night at this restaurant. He was incredibly knowledgeable with the menu and was very personable. We even got to speak with the server who was training him, who was also incredibly nice. She had served us before and she is also a fabulous server. The support staff’s attention to deal was superb, especially with how they packed up our food in nicely folded bags. The food was fresh and delicious and the cocktails were incredible! We talked with the manager. She was passionate, friendly, and clearly cared about the staff. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I can’t wait to come back.
