Chaeliana: One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies.The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!

Singthesaw: I love Gold Bar so much, always a vibe. I do miss the old location, but the new spot still maintains the artsy energy. The drinks are amazing, and Devin at the bar is one of my favorite bartenders in the city. Always warm and welcoming, remembers my drink order like we're old friends. Abbie Altamirano: We had my boyfriend's 30th birthday here and had a wonderful time! The staff was helpful in securing the space we needed, helping set up, and making sure all of us were taken care of. Some of our group ate food, most drank, and we even ordered a round of shooters that were recommended by staff. Everyone was happy with the options there. They helped set up cake and cut cake for us. Overall great birthday, he was very happy and it was a seamless process for me!
Mike Sampson: Very good bar with an outdoor patio and a live DJ on some nights. It has a small bar when you enter and 2 small and cozy seating areas with nice seats where you can relax. The lower level is where there is a DJ on some nights and has a small dance floor. This place is one of the better bars in Capitol Hill I have been to and serves a mostly under 35 crowd. Open from 2PM to 2AM every day and located at the corner of of Olive and Howell.

Schuyler Bailar: A swanky, fancy, quirky cocktail bar with low lighting and very interesting/strange/unique/fun drinks! I went with friends but we all agreed this would definitely be a great date night spot. Each drink had lots of different flavors that were well balanced but somewhat surprising. My friend got a rum based cocktail with coconut cream, pandan, and Thai curry spices and you could taste each of these in succession. It was fascinating. I'd definitely recommend this spot for fancy unique cocktails!

Zoe Schneider: Both times I've been the food and drinks have been amazing. The beef tartar is hands down a favorite. My only issue is the first time, we requested a Shrouded Roulette for my sister and made sure to say no mint because she is allergic. The drink was topped off with a large sprig of mint. The second time the same bartender was our waiter. They would walk right by our table or stand in a corner and it felt like they couldn't be bothered to take our order. We had to flag them down to get food and refills. Everyone else was super nice and the kitchen is always on point. Just disappointing service from the one bartender/server.

Chris Ackerman: This is the perfect speak easy! And they have amazing Filipino food!! The owner came over and was super sweet. She shared the history of the place. Cannot recommend enough. Will be bring lots of people here.Vegetarian options: Their Sisig is veg and I have no idea if it’s at all like the Filipino version, but it’s recommended by veg and non-veg people alike.

Robert Stephens: This was one of the first bars I ever went to in Seattle back in the day and while some things have changed, the whimsy of the Unicorn remains. The food was the best kind to pair with a lot of drinking with wonderfully breaded strips and fries and the staff were understanding, welcoming and willing to cut off people if they got too rowdy or belligerent. I keep coming back for the entertainment and I stay for the community.Parking: Good luck finding decent parking on Cap Hill. Take the light Rail and walk if you can help it.

Siyi Lin (Kristy): Went on a Friday night at around ~6 30pm as a party of two. There was still a decent amount of seating then, but it did quickly fill up. We ordered the mars sampler and an order of fries and it was actually so much food. The food and drinks were all pretty decent, and I would recommend the fried cauliflower for sure. Austin Seabert: You can build stuff with their menus! This is a game changer during a night out and quite possibly the single greatest aspect about this "Midwestern home" themed bar.
Mark Lucht: Not always the cheapest option, but great if you're going with a group of friends. Mostly southern inspried food.... I like their shrimp and grits. Good beer selection. Cocktails are fancy and expensive.

Eddie Cruz: love coming here for brunch and i'm normally eating their breakfast tacos with veggie meat. VERY filling. SUCH delicious bloody mary's. the staff is phenomenal, attentive, and engaging. when i come here, i love seeing Noah cuz he's very industrious and mindful in the way he approaches his tables. overall i'm so grateful that this place exists and it's always at the top of my mind for breakfast in cap hill.

Alexandra Hayes-Lundry: Linda’s is always excellent. Everyone that works there is great as well as everyone that goes. They are so wonderful and kind but I’ve noticed their portions on chicken get smaller recently. Which for happy hour chicken strips is a little understandable but the wings have become so small. I love this place and won’t stop going but feel slightly cheapened by wings that are smaller than my thumb.

Lily: Bookmark this location for your next date or group hangout!There is a variety of things to do here on top of the mini golf. There is boardgames, corn hole, ping pong and giant jenga.Parking is street where it can be hit or miss.
Michael Stiers: We are in from Columbus, Ohio and looking for great places to stop in at while we’re here in Seattle. The reviews and the pictures were amazing. But honestly, it didn’t do it justice, until we actually had the chance to come in here and experience it for ourselves. The place is huge, plenty of seating, great beer, tasty food and the games are incredible. The mini golf is super challenging so don’t feel bad when you score really high. Lol! But even more fun was the duffelboard! Wish there were more places like this back home. Highly recommended to anyone that lives local or happens to be visiting.

Siddhi Murkar: My first speakeasy, went there on a date night with self and enjoy the vibe.It is in the alley opposite have a heart. Was fun to discover it.The guy at the entrance was good at conversation. The bar tender curated the cocktail and was flexible to swap the spirit with my preferred one.
