With that said, every time I’ve come into this location over the many years of living in Seattle I’ve always been met with someone I felt was a perfect expression of that. I’ve never left any questions unasked when I’m there and always leave knowing something more about the industry that I’d didn’t know before. From Connor, Jackson, Freddy, Daniel and Eli and so many more, throughout all interactions I’ve always felt like I was not only valued as a customer but as an equal as to someone who shares to that same appreciation of what an amazing company has become. There’s been too many instances of employees going out of there way to resolve things on my behalf and with every time leaving me with the assurance of knowing my money is well spent. The space was clean, easy to find, the shoe selection was great, but the staff was absolutely incredible!Bryan spent 30 minutes with me to size up my feet, recommend shoes, helped me navigate pricing and foot feel.I'd recommend this place both for their products and for the exceptional service.

The foot analysis was free and he spent 30 minutes with me finding the best pair of shoes that were comfortable and stylish.

They operate like a local ski shop should - friendly, laid back, not rushed, and don’t push sales. The staffers seem to enjoy their jobs and want to help.I wanted to give Noah a shout out for a great consultation on demo skis today! He walked me through a lot of detail on different skis, considerations for purchasing, and his experience demoing the different options.
Carl Silverberg: There is a good reason this is my go-to place for ski & kayak equipment. Always get great advice! I went to get a pair of goggles at the end of season sale and left with a helmet/goggle all in one combo. I used it this week at Alyeska and for the first time I was able to wear my glasses while skiing. It's a great system, we tried a few, the Giro worked the best and the input from MTS was fantastic.

Christopher Gu: Recently purchased a bike off of FB marketplace and needed to have it checked up as well as a tune up. The staff took my bike in for a few days and gave it back in tip-top shape! They were also super helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how I should be taking care of various parts. In the end, they mentioned my bike was already pretty tuned up and only charged me for the items they replaced/fixed. Will definitely be coming back for any bike service needs!

But, when we saw online that they had a new baseball bat in stock that we had been looking for, we decided to give it a try. We called ahead to make sure the bat was in fact in stock. The guy that answered the phone was clearly busy but still took the time to look for it. When he couldn't find it, he explained that he was in the middle of helping another customer but would be happy to call me back if I wanted. We decided to stop by and found the bat we were looking for. We were impressed with the selection of both new and used items. Including the latest high-end youth baseball bats. In store the employees were once again very busy helping other customers, but just as pleasant and helpful as on the phone.
Nicole Marie: Extremely helpful staff, and surprising amount of new snowboarding boots! Went to REI first, and they only had one pair of snowboarding boots in my husbands size available. Play it again was just down the street, and we were pleasantly surprised by all the options! They also have a better return policy is an Evo, but not as good as REI.

On Monday 5/21/18 I called to ask about exchanging and they immediately offered to exchange the jacket, ship to me and to donate the coat to someone in need!! As a a result this will be my spot to shop and can't wait to return to their store for Seahawks football season . Amazing customer service!!! Thank you so much!! Todd Gruenig: I recently ordered custom lettered football jerseys from OnTheField for a church event. When they arrived, everything was perfect except that two of the jerseys were mixed up size-wise. I called them immediately because our event was just days away. They immediately took ownership of the issue, saying they would remake the jerseys and get them to me in time for my event. Sure enough, I received an e-mail just a short time later indicating that new jerseys had just been shipped via 2nd day FEDEX. Mistakes happen everywhere, but how a company responds tells you everything you need to know about them. Their response landed them in my contacts list for doing future business. This is a stand-up company.

Honestly still kind of emotional.I was looking for a hiking boot for the weekend but came really late. Like 2 minutes before they close late. I was really just browsing and didn’t expect much but a sales rep approached us and took so much time and care measuring my feet, giving me hiking socks to try, and letting me try some shoes. In the end it took about 15 minutes, but I just felt so appreciative. Honestly this is what makes REI the best. If the rep ever sees this, it’s a dude, thank you again!!

I used to carry them on my lanyard and/or along with my badge, but it was all getting a lil too heavy.I had a couple employees try to help me although I’m sure my own ambivalence or lack of having any real idea of what kind I wanted discouraged them from going on a treasure hunt with me - not to knock them, they definitely tried to be helpful and were all very nice and professional, it’s me that is the problem, my friends.Well, the stars finally decided to align and I swear they could’ve been wearing a cape - Elijah comes out of the most electric blue and holy moly, the determination of this human. .. I told them I was being cheap and black was the ideal and of course, most coveted of the colors for such an accessory, but this did not hinder their endurance. After a couple of misses, Elijah finds me the most perfect multi-wear waist pack. It had one solid strap which is adjustable in any way imaginable and oh, so minimal and sleek. It was so perfect, I could cry. I didn’t, but I could have.So, to my super hero Elijah, thank you so much for dealing with my indecisive, ADHD brain and helping me walk a way with the Nike Sportswear Rebel Crosdbory in black, of course. mark hetrick: I had an issue with binding mounting recently that was enough to be very noticeable. After a few phone calls and of three times sending me to someone else who could supposedly help I just went to the store in Seattle. I live 3 hrs away including a ferry ride, so not a trivial trip. I’m happy to say EVO made it right and gave me a new off the rack same pair of skiis and mounted properly. So a bit of a runaround but fully satisfied with the solution! Great guys in the shop!!!!
