charlie: They have the best tile selection in the area, designs are modern and unique. I would recommend looking at the online site before going to the physical location. The pricing is also good for the quality. I have worked with Brandon at the Seattle location twice now, he was able to work within my budget to get a quality result for the remodel I am working on. Stroll through the tile section of the local big box store and you will see they agree with me.If your contractor or fabricator doesn't refer you to MSI, visit their showroom and pick something out. If they have to start an account with MSI to get your product, you did your contractor a favor and should expect a discount in the future lol!MSI isn't always my last stop, but they are always my first stop. 🥂

Mattias Cape: Really happy with the service and selection. We extended our backyard patio by 100 sq ft and were looking for pebbles to fill space around larger stepping stones. This business had ample options, displayed in a helpful way right inside their gate. It was a busy Saturday with many people looking for supplies, but we only had to wait a few minutes. Our order was taken quickly and the hundreds of pounds of bagged rocks we needed forklifted to our car for loading. Everyone we spoke with was welcoming and professional.I was at first uncertain about this business reading the reviews, but did not encounter any issues at all. Will happily go back when need arises.

All staff I've worked with are knowledgeable & friendly. They were happy to slow down and educate me & made sure I had everything I needed for my patio installation job. Great products & I'd definitely recommend.As for delivery, I've received a couple large orders, each with several yards of gravel. They've taken time to ensure instructions are clear where the product goes & they've delivered per my instructions. Gravel/patio jobs have a tendency to be a bit messy and hard. If that's not your jam, hire a company to do the work for you and keep your job site clean.

Mark and Jan Chalupny/Lee: The driver who delivered our mulch was so great. Our house is in Seattle and does not have easy street access to the yard. Ryan maneuvered the truck onto the sidewalk and into our front yard, while steering clear of cars parked on the side of the road. Wow!!! Then he shoveled mulch off of the sidewalk since the truck could not get far enough into the yard to get the whole load in the yard. He was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Dirt Exchange if you need dirt or mulch.

We couldn't quite tell where to park to browse, so we just grabbed street parking.Check out their dropoff options for dirt and debris you don't need, too, if you are a hippie and like to do things that help out the planet and have the finances to support that.My only comment about room for improvement is that their online ordering system could benefit from a bit more automation/validation

The employees were very helpful and even showed me remnants in the back in case they had a small piece that would meet the needs of my small project. When my contractor ran into material delays, Jason went above and beyond to help us locate alternate inventory. They have a lot of items in stock to bring home that day while also being able to place an order sometimes for delivery and/or installation. The staff here are really nice and helpful. Parking outside only has a few spots and the road is busy, so be careful trying to find one. The prices here were better than some of the other local places, so we chose here foe our tile needs, solid choice.

I have been trying for years to get my tile bathroom floors clean but they have a rough surface and it was impossible to get them clean. Sir Grout did a fantastic job!! Can't believe the floor is actually clean 🙂. And my daughter said the other bathroom where the smooth tile with half inch grout lines is, looks like a brand new floor! They stained the grout to a darker color and it looks really great without needing to replace any tile or grout. Thanks guys!!!

The initial one day estimate turned to two days to thoroughly complete the work with required curing times and expansion of work order. Job looks great and site was left clean. More importantly, he was incredibly considerate and professional, as I tried to manage taking a full day of meetings from hom and getting the work completed. Sir Grout arranged for two persons to complete the work but an unexpected change of schedule meant Brock did all the work himself. He was polite, and clearly communicated how he would take care of the different areas. Brock never lost his energy and worked hard until he completed the work. The quote initially seemed expensive but it was clear that our DIY efforts would have taken more than a single day and not had the professional results. We realized the value of professional cleaning as soon as we stood on the tiles for the first time. - super clean!

The guy who helped me at the front desk was very patient with me even though I had no idea what I was really looking for, and even steered me away from an option that would have been hazardous for us to be in an enclosed studio space with. The guy who loaded our sand was also very helpful and kind and made the whole experience painless. I can definitely see why they've been around for 110 years!

They replaced older & broken granite tops on two large bedroom nightstands. Now the two units now look better than the originals.
