Elizabeth Hardy: I was in Seattle and had to visit the flagship store. I also had my favorite salad. The Cilantro Line Chicken Salad in the Cafe is wonderful. It had been a while since I had been in a Nordstrom so it was a nice shopping visit.

I have a wide toe box and have been compensating for that by sizing up at shoe stores. Danelle heat-widened a pair of adorable leather orange sandals for me. She was super quick when grabbing my size options from the back, and communicated with her team when the LAST pair of a shoe in my size was playing hard to get in the stockroom. It was great to see the team members supporting each other when the shop had a steady amount of traffic soon after opening!I ended up getting three new pairs of shoes. I started breaking in a pair yesterday, and my feet are already feeling so much happier! When checking out, Danelle made sure to get my basic info to start tracking by purchase history. She also let me know that after getting 12 full-price items, I get 25% off! After chatting with me at the counter while bagging my shoes and tissue-paper-wrapped dress, Danelle gave me a very warm farewell.I likely would’ve been a repeat customer because of the clothes and shoes, but I will DEFINITELY be returning because of the wonderful experience I had with Danelle and the rest of the Market Street Shoes staff. A big thank you to the whole team for the obvious care that is put in to every aspect of the shop. Cheers!

I mentioned I recently accepted a new job offer and was in need of some more business casual attire, and Sherry asked if I would consider looking at any of the clothing they had in stock. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical- as a plus sized person, a lot of smaller shops and boutiques cater only to more petite or straight sizing. However! I was able to walk out not only with my new shoes, but some very flattering and very nicely fitting tops and sweaters I could wear to the new job. Sherry was super friendly and personable, and it's clear she has a very good knowledge of what the store has in stock and its sizing. Thanks!!

On this trip to Seattle for a cruise, I made sure there was time for another round of Mephisto sandals! Three sandals later I’m a happy lady! Michael is the perfect person representing Mephisto! He’s charismatic, personable, but most importantly knowledgeable in his trade. My sandals will be shipped home without any charges! That way my luggage weight is not compromised any more than it already is!! What a pleasure meeting Michael.

These shoes run small! The service was excellent, and I will definitely be returning to make my own purchase in the near future. I couldn’t believe how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were. Eric Brave: Anyone who owns Fluevogs knows how amazing they are! But the best part of shopping for Vogs is the experience! I have shopped in person at Seattle, Vancouver, and Denver and no matter where I am or where the shoes have to travel from, the customer service experience is always amazing!! My phone calls have always been answered with welcome tones and detailed answers! I’ve ordered so many pairs of shoes over the phone and every employee has been cool, knowledgeable, and kind! The culture at Fluevog is the best, and should be an example for any sales experience!!My most recent purchase was over the phone at the Seattle store last week. The Fluevologist helped me pick the correct size based on other shoes I had. The last pair in the country was in Manhattan and that store shipped them fast! I had them in under a week! Thank you so much for all the fantastic service through the years!
Quintin Kreth: The Seattle Fluevog store is one of their best. Fluevogs are excellent, hand-made shoes. Their boots were a big part of the grunge scene. This location is a smaller store, but they have a great selection and extremely helpful staff. I love shopping here whenever I'm in Seattle.

Romax is the only store where the associate was knowledgeable about shoe/foot health and the selection offered some stylish options! I always struggle with the compromise between comfy but geriatric looking or stylish but painful. I will definitely be returning to Romax. Even my dad found shoes that he likes for his difficult and damaged feet!

Jae Lee: I made like 4 returns/exchanges because I’m pretty indecisive and never shopped at Aldo before and they were super friendly. Unlike the one in Tacoma mall, they returned my unworn shoes without nitpicking the state of the brand new shoes. They also carry more sizes at the store compared to the one in Tacoma. If they don’t carry a certain size they will help you order them to your house so you get your shoes without having to pay the shipping fee. They never really brought that up at the Tacoma location. Michelle was such a sweetheart and she helped me with so much patience.

Holly Roberts: SAS Shoes has a good selection of quality comfort shoes for men and women. The women's shoes I looked at were priced from $155 - $175. The saleswoman did measure my feet for correct sizing and put the shoes on my feet, but nothing more; the service provided was not like Shoes and Feet or The Walking Company where the salespeople are trained to analyze your foot issues and recommend certain brands, styles and orthotics. I ended up buying a pair of walking shoes and sandals and took advantage of the 30- day return policy--wear your shoes indoors to see if they work for your feet and, if they don't, return them within the month. The sandals didn't feel supportive enough so I returned them without hassle. The other pair is ok, but I have numerous foot issues that really require a more "orthopedic" type of shoe than SAS offers.

Chapman Strong: Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with me as I himmed and hawed between styles and sizes. Wouldn’t get that kind of service from online or a big store. Very happy with my purchase in the end!

The sisters know their business.

I was not encouraged to purchase when comfort was questionable with "we can try to soften it." A return was as pleasantly accomplished as the purchase. I spend ten hours a day on my feet or kneeling.One of two things usually happen when I buy new shoes--either the shoes fall apart quickly or they start to hurt. I have wide feet.So last week, the people at Woolly Mammoth fitted me with the most exquisitely comfortable pair of Keen work shoes. After wearing them for less then a week, they are the most comfortable but sturdy pair of footwear I have owned in many, many years.I can't speak highly enough about them.
Joel Blaschke: I wanted so they ordered my size. The awesome person who helped me mentioned they can run a little small so they ordered two sizes to make sure they would fit. You don't get that service online. Please support these folks and other small independent retailers.

Gurjot Tur: This is on my way to work, and I stopped by because recently, I had developed pain walking to work on concrete pavement. Mike was awesome on analyzing the impact on my current insole, looking at my current shoes and how I stood, to make a recommendation which I hope will deliver results for the long term. He gave me a 15% discount and offered to tweak the insole in a week if needed. Ah, mom-n-pop stores!
y law: They can make custom orthotics here and have an awesome selection of shoes for people with wide, flat feet!!!
beau steele: My girlfriend and I were in Seattle on vacation and both needed new shoes. We found Andersons and I can say with ease this was the best shoe experience I have ever had. Mike was very knowledgeable and quickly got me shoes that fit well and were my style. I'll be making sure to give them my business even though I'm not from around here. My feet, knees, and back have never felt better so fast just from a great fitting pair of shoes. For reference I'm 385 pounds so a good pair of shoes does a lot for me. Highly recommend going here for your future shoe needs.

Justin Murphy: I called the Danner store to check the availability of a style and size of boot and got an informative and polite response. They had the style I was lseeking and the salesman made me aware of a 10% discount I was eligible for . The boots look great and are as comfortable as I hoped they’d be. It was easy to make the decision to get them and be on my way thanks to their stock and smooth customer service.
