Mayte Lopez: A Big Thank You to Dr. Popek and John!I recently had a terrible accident that left several of my teeth broken. I was in a lot of pain and incredibly stressed about the situation. Thankfully, after reaching out to the office through their website, they responded quickly and were able to see me the very next day! I was in disbelief, I thought I'd have a longer wait time.From the moment I met them, they have both been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and considerate. They recognized the difficulty I was facing and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. John, in particular, deserves special recognition. He is a superstar when it comes to customer focus. He's excelled in explaining every step, consistently has delivered high-quality work, and readily addresses any questions or feedback that I've had. I never knew how valuable that is in a health care provider.Over the past two weeks, I've had 6+ dental visits, and let me tell you, Dr. Popek and John have completely changed my perspective on dentists. Their expertise and skillset have transformed a terrifying experience into something manageable. By noon, I was taken back for preliminary x-rays. By 1:30, my tooth was filled and appeared back to normal.This team, especially Haley, went above and beyond to fit me into an already-full schedule on a weekend. Madeline Feigles: I have been at this dentist for almost 3 years. They are very thorough with the cleanings and do more care than some other dentists, like keeping careful measure of the gum pockets. In particular, Shawn the hygienist has been so lovely. I got my first cavity filled recently, which was scary for me. She made sure I felt comfortable and kept me calm the whole time. They even topically numb your gums before you get the shot to fully numb your mouth. Following the filling, I needed a bite adjustment for the cavity filling. They were able to see me within 24 hours of calling. Shawn and Dr. Waind were just as kind, and got everything fixed in 1 hour. I am thankful to have a dentist office that is so easy to schedule with and takes such good care of me!
Carmen Loh: I’ve been a patient of this practice since 2008 and highly recommend it. Every hygienist I’ve worked with is knowledgeable, friendly, and they encouraged me to be better with my dental health without making me feel horrible. Dr. Waind is super pleasant as well. Extra points because they play fun music, not the boring stuff. Sometimes 80s alternative, sometimes 90s, was impressed to hear Selena this AM.

VBIED 2004: I was trying to find a new dentist in the Tacoma area, and accidentally called sound dentistry and set up an appointment. as the appointment got close they sent me a reminder. So being fairly new to the area I looked up the address on google and to my surprise it was in Seattle. I figured what the heck and went anyway. This was the biggest mistake I could have made. The staff was wonderful and made me feel very relaxed through the entire appointment, Unfortunately with my job in south Tacoma it is almost impossible to set an appointment and be gone all day due to travel time, so I decided to find a dentist closer to home. I have not had good luck with dentists in the past and I feel it will be almost impossible to get the same experience and level of care that Sound provided.I encourage anyone that is looking for a dentist in the Seattle area to give them a call. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to the staff at Sound D and even after just one appointment you will be missed.

Tim McMichael: Kois Dentistry is without question the best dentistry clinic I've been to in my 65 years. The entire staff is personable, professional, non-judgmental, and understanding, while Dr. Kois himself is a rock star. Their facilities are state-of-the-art. I can honestly say that through four tooth extractions, several fillings, and the most thorough cleanings my teeth have ever had, I have not once felt even a glimmer of discomfort. In just a little over a year, the team at Kois has overcome my lifetime of less-than-positive dental experiences; for the first time ever I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Kois Dentistry has earned my highest personal recommendation.

Dr. Wilson and Paula took their time to answer all my questions and clearly explained their recommendations and reasoning, which built substantial trust.I decided to proceed with them in a separate appointment for the necessary procedure, and it was hands down the most relaxing dental experience I’ve ever had. I hardly felt a thing and actually walked out in a good mood. This will be my dentist as long as I am in Seattle—this is definitely a dental office you can trust.

That said, DR Wilson and her wonderful assistant were so kind and helpful and also, my teeth feel awesome. The hygienist who I met before I saw Dr Wilson was also incredibly skilled at putting me at ease and telling me what was happening.

They worked well as a team and made me feel at ease with handling the anesthesia, cutting the gums and stitching me up. There was virtual no pain or discomfort felt, even with receiving 2 vials of anesthesia.I have never received such excellence and skill with invasive dental work. I will come back for many visits with dental cleanings. Dental surgery can actually be minimal in discomfort with good numbing out skills and relaxing my body with deep breathing.

Anya Boinik: If you wander where dentists get their work done, it is at EBD! Here you will get best care, top notch technology, efficiency, painless procedures, and superior results. I am a dentist myself and Dr. Kim and Dr. Misty are the only dentists I can trust my dental work. If you are not their patient yet, then you are doing it wrong. Give them a try and you will see the difference yourself.
Fertessa Scott: This practice is hands down the most phenomenal dentist I've ever had. It's the kind of dentist that, when I move, I'll still cover the distance to visit because what I've found here is just so rare.I am treated with the utmost respect from the time I make my appointments to the time I receive service. Every member of staff is friendly and most if not all make the effort to greet me by name.As someone who has been traumatized by a variety of dentists who didn't care about it believe when I experienced pain, I always dreaded getting even my regular cleanings. And while the dread is still there, the fear is not. They always make sure to check in with me as they work on my mouth to check my comfort levels.Even if I hesitate to state my pain levels, they pause because they're able to read when I'm uncomfortable. They even let you request a nice warm blanket to wrap yourself in during your procedure.I cannot emphasize enough how much each and every person on the staff is. It doesn't matter who I'm seeing, nor their role on staff. Elliott Bay Dental is a cut above and I recommend them to any and everyone.
S A: Awesome staff, quick and painless appointment. They explained everything clearly and concisely. I had my first appt w them today and I was in and out in an hour. It’s also easy to get to, and they have a parking lot. 10/10 stars.
Allison Hanley: The staff at Elliot Bay is so amazing. I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years due to covid and mental health issues so I had a lot of dental work that needed to be addressed. I was in tears when I realized the extent of the work needed to be done, but the dentist was so unbelievably empathetic and reassured me they would help me handle all of it and explained to me everything he was doing every step of the way to ease my anxiety. I’ve never had such genuine care, professionalism and compassion from a dental care team, I wish my childhood dentist was as amazing as they are because if they were I would never have had any anxiety around dental visits. I have and will continue to recommend Elliot Bay Dental to everyone! I am so thankful for them and cannot recommend them enough.
Prentice: I went in today because of a chipped tooth and like many going to the dentist, I felt a lot of anxiety. But my experience from checking in, to being treated was amazing! Dr. John Kim was comforting, informative, and really excellent in my treatment. His assistant Jacky was so kind and patient with me. She really calmed my nerves! The facility was very clean and very modern. 10/10. I even scheduled a cleaning on the way out.

He goes step by step in the right amount of detail, gets you on your way as fast as possible, and you walk away knowing your treatment was the best of the best. His assistants are top notch too!

I had not been to a dentist in 6 years and on my first visit I was greeted by friendly staff in the modern waiting room, and I appreciated they had free water bottles.I went in carefree and was glad to find I didn't have any cavities or issues, so I only required a deep cleaning. I attribute the frequent coconut oil pulling over the years for having a healthy mouth.I have gone every 6 months ever since for a regular cleaning and look forward to it every time. I will always enthusiastically recommend going here to anyone.

When I got my nightguard they adjusted it until it fit perfectly and took their time with me. I have been wearing it a few weeks now and love it so much, I used to have so much jaw pain waking up! I’m so glad the doctor noticed the wear and tear in my teeth and recommended the nightguard to me. Icon will be my dentists for life! So friendly and understanding.

Sheethal Sridhar: Over a year ago when I had my wisdom teeth extracted, I was charged a certain amount to my credit card for the treatment. However, after I reviewed the insurance bills it turned out that I was overcharged by the clinic about ~1000$. I reported this to Jacky at Icon dental center and she completely followed through with her team and the Insurance to ensure my billing problem was corrected. I was promptly sent a refund check for the excess amount I was charged. Jacky was honest and responsive on hearing my concern. Thanks for the help.

She puts her heart and soul into her work and always has a fun demeanor at bedside. Office staff are incredibly nice. Office is immaculate... kept sparkling clean. I also really appreciated that staff and docs don't bully you or make you feel like garbage if you haven't been able to get dental care or keep up on things yourself. They kindly revise the plan to get you back on track without a guilt trip. Thank you all for giving me a much needed dental makeover!
