The Tasting Room: what do users think?

Markos Mezgebu: Great spot and Ariana is the best

Erin Bailie: Incredible hospitality. Our server was knowledgeable of wines, and was understanding of our time constraints. Great recommendations and service.Service: 5/5 …

Tina Burch: Popped in to wait for a table across the alley. Not a wine drinker, so I had a cider. The sommelier poured me a wine dessert, which was fantastic, so we ordered a bottle to go. Very friendly and knew their stuff. If you need a place to hang out while waiting for your reservation or just to taste good wine, this is the spot. It's off the beaten path of the traffic for Pike Place, so not many tourists come in unless they wander off.

Aiman Al Khachi (Chu): 4/8/2023: We came back here because our friend Brad works here and we didn't want to pass up the opportunity of cheese and crackers with a flight or wine. It was the first time we ordered food here and we really enjoyed the cheese and crackers!6/16/2022: Took my mom and my auntie here for wine tasting for the first time in Seattle. The experience was great, and our server was extremely kind. My auntie is new to wine and wasn't finding any of the wines to her liking. Our server brought out another one for free to help satisfy her. She was really pleased ultimately satisfying everyone. I would definitely recommend this place.

William Magill: A quiet hideaway located in Post Alley, the Tasting Room is the perfect spot for a flight sampler, glass, or bottle of wine. In the event you get caught with a long wait at The Pink Door, make your way over to kill some time in an atmosphere that is sure to relax you. The ladies behind the bar are sure to steer you in the right direction if you’re a rookie or wine connoisseur.

Millie Kwan: It has been many years since I've been to The Tasting Room. They specialize in specific local wineries which is fantastic, but it also means that their selection will be limited. Still a great place to meet friends and taste great local wine. It's also not in the really busy part of Pike Place Market so a great place for a chill drink.

hxax: Stopped in as we were waiting for a restaurant table. We were told over an hour but it came to be only 40 minutes. The host was very attentive and quickly checked us out so we can make dinner. The wine was fantastic and they have about 4 different tasting flights you can try. Host mentioned she may do custom flights but not when they are busy.

Structure Cellars: what do users think?

Kimberly Pham: A while back, I visited a tasting room but didn't find it particularly remarkable, so I never went back. However, tonight I attended an event hosted by a law firm at the same place. To my surprise, I was truly impressed by their Syrah wine. It had a distinctive and uncommon flavor profile, being both peppery and bold, unlike the regular Syrah wines I've tried before. The selection of wines they showcased tonight left a strong impression on me. Given that I live nearby, I have decided to give them another chance and revisit their tasting room. If you happen to be in Urbanwork, I recommend checking them out as well.

Russell Robinson Jr: Structure is amazing! Even a “bad” wine here is better than most, and very affordable. You won’t find more personable and enjoyable owners than Brandee, Brian, and Logan. Highly recommended!

Sarah S: Fabulous winery vibe. Ultra-friendly wine-maker. Informative and welcoming staff. Good juice. Highly recommended. Can't wait for my next visit.🍷

Emily White: Beautiful tasting room, excellent staff, and lovely champagne flights to chose from. Absolutely love this place, and to make it even better, dog friendly!

Marcee Grasso: Best winery ever! Great wine and Logan is awesome!

Zachary Wilson: Great wine, great music, great everything. Come. Get your wine on.

Mikayla Whitley: The best Washington wine experience you could have! Phenomenal wine and amazing service from the owners and their staff. The owners Brandie and Brian are personalable and make the experience incredibly welcoming. You walk out with more than just a wine tasting, you leave feeling a sense of fufuliment and an experience you won’t forget. We joined their wine club on the spot and can’t wait to try their new wines and be a part of their annual release parties!

Kellie Masters: Great service! Awesome wines.

Michael Grace: I love these guys and their wine. I always have at least a few of their bottles on hand. They offer such a great value for the quality of wine. More importantly, they are lovely people and so much fun.

Jose Tieman: It was a good experience. We were invited by a friend that was a member of there wine club. They were having a themed wine tasting at the time which was great.

Neil Cullen: Good Champagne selection. Attentive staff.

Jay Mitra: Excellent setup for Covid friendly wine tasting! Which is fantastic as the wine is excellent.

Elsom Cellars: what do users think?

Carlos Chavez: Staff is great and their wines are delicious.

Mary Weber: Superb wines! The atmosphere is great and the personnel are knowledgeable and friendly.

L Swanson: Delicious wine and great service!

Catherine Romberger: Great tasting spot in SODO. There’s a very nice patio where you can enjoy a tasting outside. We got five tastings for $15 with the Artisan Experience. All of the wines were great, especially the 2022 Rosé. The servers were very friendly and helpful and kept track of where everyone was in the tasting. We had a large group and they kept everything flowing smoothly. The food was also great and we enjoyed the cheese plate and charcuterie.

Jay B.: What a great winery and venue! We had our wedding reception there and the space was perfect.b

Phil Anderson: that was extremely knowledgeable

Brian LaFaille: Great local winery that’s just down the street from the Starbucks HQ. Stopped in here for a tasting, and the environment is incredible. Great outdoor patio with an indoor tasting environment with various “rooms” that the owners crafted. You can tell the owners took care to decorate the space with intention and care. Definitely worth the stop if you’re south of downtown!

Angie Savela: We used Elsom Cellars for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. It was the absolute best way we could have started our wedding weekend. Everyone was so nice, the wine fantastic, and the space beautiful. We were able to run a slideshow on their TV which was a hit with our guests. We used their preferred caterer, Red's kitchen and Catering, which was effortless and the food even more delicious. We're looking forward to more glasses of wine at this lovely place.

Elliott Appel: We hosted our wedding reception here, and they were amazing!Anna was really easy to work with throughout the planning process and made the day-of a seamless experience. She helped coordinate with an outside company for the rental of a few tables and chairs to supplement what they had.My friends did a tasting prior to the wedding to help us select wines because we moved away, and they told me the staff were great.I can't comment on the wine because I didn't have any, but my friends loved the grenache! Looking at the itemized receipt, the albarino was also popular.I would host an event here again in the future. Easy to work with, affordable, and a great inside and outside area. They made it really easy!

Ross Wilson (Revtruk): Fantastic place for get together, group parties, tastings, special occasions and more.

Yvette Nameth: Great service. Love the decor. And most importantly tasty wines!

Christy: . Have small plates

Ryan Mellinger: This place is so great. If you’re in the neighborhood don’t pass it up.

Kathryn Kirschbaum: Wine was wonderful, staff was amazing!

Roni LifeWorks: Awesome Staff excellent experience very clean 👌

Lisa Baker: Yummy wine and snack plates. The gal that helped us was friendly and informative. I will be back!

Shawn Schoch: We have been part of their wine club for over 3 years! They have our favorite reds made in the US. Highly recommend going there for a tasting. We even hosted our pre-wedding get together there and our guests loved it. We have since moved out of the state, but have them ship us their wines multiple times a year.

Aluel Cellars: what do users think?

Kelly Anne Shantel: . Highly recommend stopping in and maybe signing up for their wine club!

Sara Dias: Good wines and great service!

Jeremy Yowell: Very intimate spot with great wine and excellent service. If you have a large party there's an upstairs space that we didn't see but sounded like was very busy. The main lower tasting area was cozy and a great experience.

Girish Shekhar: Great vibes, good wine. Wish they had more white/rose on their selection and flights. Will definitely go again.

Garrett Hudson: Always friendly. Always good.

Mikiehl Kofoed: Love this place! The wines are amazing. Highly recommend "coat of arms"!

Kevin He: Awesome staff, delicious wine! Thanks to Alex for a great experience.

Carissa Ensminger (US): Amazing spot in Capitol Hill, spectacular Washington wines and great service. Owners Alex and Samuel are absolutely delightful!

Dylan: Alex and Samuel were very helpful at advising the best wines from Aluel. I recommend the charcuterie board, and that you stop here on your trip to Seattle! A hidden gem.

Dani Stevens: Great little winery. You can get flights, glasses, or whole bottles, and they have some food/snack offerings as well. We enjoy being able to support a Washington winery without leaving the neighborhood.

William Loh: Wine was great and the cheese complemented very nicely. The Christmas vibes were the highlight though.

Ralph Hofmann: Friendly service. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They sell water and local wines. You dan buy a bottle or glass. It’s a great neighborhood place.

Almquist Winery: what do users think?

Susan Gallotte: The Almquist is such a gorgeous gem of a venue right in the heart of the lower Queen Anne neighborhood. Their bar and barrel room are both beautiful but my favorite part of the whole venue is their greenhouse. You can’t go wrong with any of it!

Chas Thomas: Simply put, Almquist left nothing to be desired! From the generous venue access time, easy load-in, helpful & accommodating staff, and beautiful details, Almquist easily earned my five stars. I highly recommend taking a tour and imagining the possibilities. Vendors, this is absolutely a venue you want to recommend to your couples!

Helen Smith: . Eggs Benedict was generally good; the eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was wonderful, but the English muffin was so tough that I couldn't saw through it with my butter knife. Seriously, like shoe leather. The sweet potato hash was very tasty, but it was brought out after everyone had finished their entrees, so most people didn't even bother trying it. The fresh fruit plate was fabulous. Still, despite these small flaws, Almquist WInery put on a near-perfect event! I highly recommend them for your next event.

Kit Bernal: The most perfect place we could have had our wedding. Almquist has multiple spaces that can work with many different decor styles, and we were able to create the modern, intimate, and colorful wedding of our dreams so easily. All of the staff we worked with went completely above and beyond, and Table Catering served some of the best food I’ve ever had, wedding or otherwise. People who attended our wedding said it felt just like us, and my spouse and I would not have been able to achieve that without the support and excitement that the Almquist team had for our ideas. They completely elevated our event, and I would recommend them to anyone. I’m so happy we chose them for this important event, and can’t imagine our wedding anywhere else!

Kim Morrill: As the owner of Your Perfect Bridesmaid, I recently had the pleasure of attending an open house event at Almquist Winery. In the over 15 years of wedding planning experience I have never experienced something so magical. Not only is Almquist an exceptional venue in the heart of the city but their catering is the most inventive, most beautifully presented, and most delicious I have tasted. If you are looking to have your event be something never forgotten, look no further.

Shane O'Sullivan: I've worked here as a vendor twice now. The recent event was a very intense partying wedding, the kind of even where staff could find it quite stressful, but the staff was incredible. They were polite, helpful and cheerful from start to finish. The venue looked enchanting as well of course.

Cassie Locke: We couldn’t be happier with our experience at the Almquist Winery! The venue was the perfect backdrop on our special day. The food was incredible!!! The wine is superb! And the staff is beyond helpful and gracious. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our wedding day and working with Almquist. Truly special and dear to our hearts forever now.

Stephanie Hernandez: . We had always planned for an intimate wedding of 40 people and this venue was absolutely perfect. As soon as I stepped onto the venue property I knew it was the one. I instantly knew that I wanted to hold the dinner reception and dancing in the greenhouse. We held our cocktail hour inside the restaurant and had our photo booth setup in the restaurant as well. If you are going to book Almquist for your wedding you must work with Table Catering Co.

Dalia M: Absolutely a beautiful place

Maninoa Ah-San: Ben was really helpful when I called. He gave me some winery’s to check out and also a website to see a list of the winery’s in Seattle. That kind of customer service is outstanding to me and I appreciate the kindness. THANKS BEN!

Spencer Monroe: This is an amazing winery, distillery and beautiful event space. Benedict Almquist is a phenomenal and hard working wine maker and gifted distiller. I would highly recommend you to stop by check it out. If your have an special celebration coming up, you should check out the space. It is not beautiful but they have on premise catering and a full bar. In addition to the amazing wine.

Rôtie Cellars - Seattle Tasting Room: what do users think?

Nicole Grayburn: One of the better tasting rooms in the city! Great atmosphere, people, and wine for any palate.

Marwan Kanj: We went there on a date, a bit late and a little before closing. We had a long and a very interesting conversation with Jared while tasting their wines, about wine in general and their wines in particular. The wines were a wide spectrum of white, red and rose wines.Great selection and great service by Jared.I highly recommend this laid back, not pretentious, fun wine tasting experience.Ps: If you buy wines, the tasting is free.. Unfortunately we could not because we were heading back to Canada and we could not bring wine back with us since our stay was less than 48hours.

Steven Swapp: Great wine and great people.

Daniel Smith: Great wine and even better staff. Still my favorite Washington winery. The Northern is a real standout that offers incredible value.

Kara Walters: Super nice place - the wine is amazing. If you can, drive out to the Rocks Estate near Walla Walla. It's worth it.

Alex Bliss: Wine is absolutely top tier. Reds are unique and just brilliant and the whites + rosé’s are also delicious. Wait staff is also very fun and knowledgeable about what their wines. Support small production wineries like this one - they are the right stuff.

Elaine Allyn: Awesome place. Good wine! Fun servers! Enjoy

donald martins: Rotie cellars tasting room was an absolute delight!! Aside from their wine tasting list being phenomenal the tasting room manager was so friendly and knowledgeable about all their wines and set up the tasting to allow each to not overstep each other. I can’t wait to come back again and would invite anyone from novice to wine connoisseurs to come down and take a taste!

Brynn Decker: Fantastic experience!

John Hoover: Excellent location, wines, knowledgeable staff and a great vibe.

Michelle Sanford: Amazing wine! The people are friendly and knowledgeable. Go during releases for a fun experience.

Chuck Wilson: Whites and reds are both fantastic. Can't go wrong here. Staff was friendly and helpful and we had a blast.

Derek T: Some of the best wine anywhere! Sophisticated take on modern wine that sets trends, not follows.Good tasting rooms in Sodo and Walla Walla, friendly crews in both.

Dan Jost: Great tasting room and wines. Fantastic service and great attention to Covid safety. Highly recommend

Champion Wine Cellars: what do users think?

Steven Clifford: The selection here is out of this world. Well organized and friendly, helpful staff.I purchased a case which included 6 different bottles. Each of them were great and I loved them! We generally purchase from this store for special occasions, but we have found ourselves frequenting more and more because the selection and quality is so high.100% absolutely recommend this place.

a s: and super helpful staff!

Isaac Kinakin: An incredible selection of local wines. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great prices. A real neighbourhood gem!

Sean Kelly: Such an amazing wine store for your average wine drinker. They have a great selection of $10-$20 wines and don't care what your price range is they will go above and beyond to find the best bottle for your tastes.Totally worth the extra stop after shopping at Fred's to get your wine here. Prices are almost identical so you're not even "paying" for the above and beyond service.

Noelle Royer Lindenmann: Amazing shop with an amazing sommelier. Erin is so special and knows so much.

Jeff Minard: Excellent, massive selection of old world wines. Staff extremely helpful and eager to assist.

Catherine Hiller: The sales associate and discussed the proper sherry for a ladies tea, the East India Solera Cream. It was a great hit!

Graeme Williams: who will patiently guide you regardless of your experience level. So far I don't think I've bought a single bottle that I haven't enjoyed from here, so it's become the only place I shop for wine.

Dwight Boykins: Great selection and amazing staff!!

Kady Dundas: This is our favorite wine shop in Seattle and we love the free delivery that makes it so easy to order and stock up. Erin and her team are amazing - wonderful people and really knowledgeable. We’ve discovered countless great wines thanks to their recommendations and all have been really reasonably priced. Highly recommend checking them out!

Wilridge Winery: what do users think?

Judy Clark: Came from Indiana and tasted your Semillon in Seattle at Pikes Place. It was wonderful and wish I could find it in the Midwest.

Kelsey Burns: I came here while I was waiting for a table at Bottlehouse and it was the perfect spot to wait. The woman running it was so kind and fun to talk to. I will definitely come here again when I’m waiting for a table!

Brooke Agather: Excellent wine, great staff and they have been in Seattle for over 30 years! Their estate wine is all biodynamic. A must go to place in Seattle!

Arvin DeHerrera: Excellent wine, very impressed!

Fabio Cooper: Great place , is a must if you want to have a great time.

Jessi Rizza: I visited on the recommendation of a friend and it was the best decision ever. Paul and the entire staff are the most friendly, accommodating, easy going, informative hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Dennis and Paul are quite literally walking encyclopedias of wine. Not to mention the wine is, of course, top of the line. The tour of the winery was amazing, there is free growing asparagus you can pick and snack on while walking the vineyard. Youll probably also be greeted by their resident felines Rachel and Nyla. This place really is the whole package...amazing wine, hiking, a sauna, outdoor swings and lounge areas. You could easily kill a couple days staying here....there’s even an airBNB rental! I’ve never had such an amazing host in such a beautiful area. If you’re going to be planning a trip in the area this place is a MUST VISIT.

Sarah: Down to earth winery, open rarely but they are increasing pop up hours, great wine!

Shane Serafin: The oldest winery in Seattle, occasionally open for tastings. Find their wines at grocery stores and farmer's markets throughout Seattle.

Zacharee Snow Monkey: Beautiful gem of a location. The only thing that beat the selection of drinks and flavors was the service. Perfect for some personal tasting, a group outing or a romantic encounter. Well done!

N: Amazing selection, you have to try the biodynamic wines! OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Taylor Tasting Tours: what do users think?

sarah manneh: The tour was amazing. Dan spent an incredible amount of time catering to the specifics that we wanted out of our tour. We did two wineries and one bourbon/whiskey tasting. We had lunch at a great restaurant tucked above Snoqualmie Falls. He took his time. It was evident that he knew the producers of wine and spirits well. Would highly recommend if looking for a personalized and private tour.Don’t second guess, just book with Don!

Elizabeth Tucker: My husband and I recently traveled to Seattle for the first time to visit our son. While there, we decided to take a wine tasting tour with Taylor Tasting Tours. Don did a fabulous job! Prior to our visit, Don reached out to us to ascertain what sort of experience we were looking for and what types of wines we enjoyed. He picked us up at our hotel and took us around to four different wineries in the surrounding area. His knowledge about the various grapes, wines, and regions is second to none! We learned quite a bit about the wineries and the wine making process. We spent as much time as we liked at each location and never felt rushed. In addition, he took us to a fabulous lunch with a picturesque view! I would not hesitate to recommend Don with Taylor Tasting Tours. We certainly plan on a repeat visit in the future!Elizabeth Tucker, MD

Daniel Amos: Don Ward is wonderful! His knowledge of wine and the local wineries is extraordinary and he is personal friends with many of the wine makers. He is a gentleman and a lot of fun to spend the day with exploring the wines of Seattle. We highly recommend him!

Megan Salas: Don was a fantastic host and arranged some very personal experiences with owners and winemakers. We were with him for 2 days and it was a great introduction to the Washington wine scene. We would highly recommend him! He has great restaurant recommendations also.

Douglas Radish: Don provided an excellent tour. Picked us up at our condo on the waterfront. Very knowledgeable about the Woodinville wines and French and Italian wines. Don has been providing wine tours for many years in the area, and you can't go wrong in choosing him for your private wine tasting tour

Richard Williamson: Don and I collaborated on a 1/2 day custom tour for my wife's birthday weekend when we were visiting Seattle from our home in New Orleans. We stopped at lunch, 2 breweries, 1 winery, and 1 distillery. Don is great and has a vast amount of knowledge to share about all things spirits. It is also very cool to be whisked around Seattle in his Mercedes sedan as well. Just a word about being prepared on the day of your tour -- unlike tours we have been on in other cities in the US, the cost of everything at each stop is your responsibility. I was not aware of that fact, which may have been a misunderstanding on my part. So Don's fee does not include any drinks; or at least it did'nt on our tour. Be that as it may, when in Seattle you really need to meet Don and take a tour, so many great places to try drinks!

Nancy Wimberg: Don was great. Personalized the tour to our tastes and budget. Even took us on a quick tour of the beautiful Queen Anne neighborhood. All the wineries were first rate and the vinters friendly. Could not have asked for a better day.Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $31+ …

Robyn Fletcher: My sister, son and I had the pleasure of touring with Don today. We are not wine oficienados, we just know what we like. Don took us to some great wineries. He introduced us to new flavors according to our preference profile. His knowledge is only matched by his enthusiasm for a great bottle. He shared info on pairings, how this or that particular wine is made and antedotal stories along the way. Informative and fun, I highly recommend Taylor Tasting Tours.

Viollette Menefee: Don took my husband and I on a wonderful wine tour outside of Seattle and we had such an unforgettable experience!! We visited 4 very different wineries and each one was exceptional. Don is a master and professional at what he does and we highly recommend him to anyone who is curious about tasting the best wines in WA depending on your preferences - he knows how to satisfy your palette!! ~ Thanks again DonV & C

Clay Kartye: Thank you Don and Deb for such a memorable tour! I am happy to recommend your services without reservation.

Tamera Gayle: Don provided us a full day of fun! One of my husbands interests in life is a good glass of Bourbon. Don was able to take us from the expected to the elite and even gave us a bonus stop at the end of the day to taste some great Washington wines. He shared his knowledge, encouraged us to try new things, and personalized the tour so everyone walked away with something. Even the girl who doesn’t love dark spirits found amazing maple syrup along the way! Thanks Don! We are looking forward to bringing our kids up to go on a wine tour with you!

Melanie Bristol: I was looking for a personalized behind the scene wine tour. Don was extremely helpful trying to set up our plan with our palate. He asked questions in order to get to know our taste and what type of wines to explore with us. I was very pleased talking with him and knew he would create a special tour for my friends and I. Don was not able to take us on the tour he sent his lovely associate Eleanor who was allot of fun. All in all I'd recommend his tour as they are professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We had allot of fun and I will use his service again in the near future. Thank you Don & Eleanor!!

Yasamin Rahmanparast: on a scenic and fun day visiting wineries and tasting rooms not only in Seattle but in gorgeous surrounding towns, which he based on our tastes and preferences

Colleen Oppenheim: We had an amazing tasting tour yesterday with Don! He is extremely knowledgeable about wine and helped me many times to decide what to taste. I was the odd one out in my group tasting mostly reds and he made sure to go over with both the white wine drinkers and I what we would most enjoy. The wineries he chose for us were all wonderful and diverse. I can’t wait to travel back to Seattle to do another tour with him!

Ann Haight: and visited the waterfalls- just a delightful day. Don’s extensive knowledge of wines helped us to appreciate the experience even more, and he will be sure to customize the tour to your tastes. I would absolutely recommend Taylor Tasting Tours for an unforgettable wine tasting experience!

Nathanael Jones: I booked a private wine tour with Don 3 months before my trip to Seattle. The wine tour was a surprise for a close friend of mine. I could immediately tell he was knowledgeable and very passionate about wines. We exchanged almost 40 emails over the months discussing our preferences in wine. We talked on the phone so he could get more detail, and he made sure to plan a day that would get us both exposure to wines we would enjoy! The day of the tour started with him picking us up from our hotel, giving her a bottle of wine as a late birthday gift. We then went to 4 wineries throughout the day, learned more than we ever knew before about what types of tastes we like. He even ensured that the wines we purchased could be packaged and shipped safely back to Ohio. If you are visiting Seattle I HIGHLY recommend doing a wine tour with Don 😊

Kelsey Wagner: I recently visited Seattle with a friend who surprised me with a full day of wine touring in Woodinville. He arranged the entire tour prior to our trip with the help of our excellent sommelier, Don! Don picked us up and drove us to a variety of wineries and gave us quite the education along the way. He is extremely friendly and full of information. I learned so much about my taste in wine and gained an appreciation for all its varieties. We had such a great time and thought the tour was a great value! At the end, Don helped us ensure that all the wines we bought were safely boxed up so we could bring them back to Ohio. I could go on and on about how great the experience was - would highly recommend to anyone visiting Seattle who wants to indulge in the Washington wine culture.

West Seattle Cellars: what do users think?

Archis Gore: They special ordered my favorite Santorini wines!! The prices were the same as if it were bought on Santorini! I’m impressed. I’ll be ordering many more cases from them.

Peter Balch: Knowledgeable and friendly wine merchants. Don’t waste time at big box stores when you can purchase great wine at a local shop.

Nebby Nebula: This place rules. I’m new to the neighborhood and thought I’d never find a replacement for my old wine store. I was wrong! West Seattle Cellars has great selection and reasonable pricing. But the best part is the proprietor is helpful, afable, likes to geek out about wine, and, best of all, makes great recommendations for your taste and price point.

Christina Garrity: Amazing selection, fair prices, and really knowledgeable and helpful staff

marc earl: I always stop here when we come in from Dallas to see our son and his wife .....solid wines

Jonathan Shields: and really appreciate the weekly wine tastings on Thursday nights and occasionally on weekends. Prior to this, I would buy wine and champagne at grocery stores, liquor stores, Costco, etc. if I thought I might like it, or if something was on sale that sounded interesting - very hit-or-miss. Now, pretty much every bottle is something that I bought because I tasted it first, and bought a couple of bottles of what I liked best - no duds, ever!

Carl: Excellent service and a great selection of wines. They also do wine tasting on Thursday nights at 5:30PM

Bill Gohde: Extremely helpful with excellent selection.

J Snider: I love this wine shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Their selection is great for a small shop with interesting wines from around the world plus as the standard greats you would expect. They have wines in a range of prices from very affordable to the top tiers.

Kristian Sanford: Big fan of this West Seattle gem. Owners Jan and Tom are knowledgeable and so helpful. I've been thoroughly enjoying one of their wine clubs for a while now.

Marla Steffen: Stopped in when I saw Tom sitting there at his desk. I had a stroller and my 4 year old grandson and he let me come in with both of them! Asked for a medium priced red blend and his suggestion was very good.My husband and I have been to their wonderful wine tastings. A really nice neighborhood wine shop.

Piers Greenaway: This wine shop has a wide selection of wines, and it was nice because the atmosphere here is very relaxing. The service was one of a kind and thanks to its staff, who did an amazing job. I will definitely recommend this shop to everyone, including my friends and family. Thank you so much, guys! Keep up the great work!

Kirk Maringer: Great place to get a bottle of wine, especially when you no nothing about wine! My wife said I’d like a Rose, when I walked in I was greeted and asked “How can I help you?”. I said looking for a Rose, don’t know anything else but Rose! He showed me what they had, made a suggestion, sold. My wife absolutely loved the wine! I’ll be back again to get another bottle! Let’s all continue to shop small to help our local businesses!

Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room: what do users think?

Ryan Larsen: Josh is a fantastic tender of bar

Brent P.: Great local wine just minutes from Pikes market. The wine has a lot of French influence and has a great story of sustainability. They have an amazing initiative for Orca Whales. The service here was fantastic, Maggie and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was our server and she had excellent recommendations. Overall the service was just fantastic and made us excited for the possibility of visiting the winery

K M-V: Loved it so much we became wine club members. Exited for our first wine picks. We did the seasonal flight and it was lovely. Ended up taking 6 bottle home. Great spot.

Michael Richardson: BROWNE FAMILY VINEYARDS PIONEER SQUARE TASTING ROOM VIBES - Wine tasting in Pioneer Square🍷 Don’t mind if I do!Located in the historic Seller Building designed in 1906, the tasting room had a cool aesthetic that fit the cloudy Seattle morning vibes. They had a number of wine flight options and we went through the Patio Pleasers flight which included: rosé of Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, & we got to try the Chardonnay & some bubbles as well.I was amazed about the pale color of the Sauvy B & Pinot Gris! But was gratefully reminded that color does NOT equal flavor. Those were my favorites due to the delicate aromatics & crisp flavors. Patio Pleasers for sure! The rosé was delicious as well. Took some Pinot Gris home to pair with some seafood later. Would go perfect with roasted fish with a lemon & capers 🤤

Ryan Jones: I enjoyed a fantastic tasting here. Arriving at 11am on a weekday, I was warmly welcomed by Greg, who proceeded to treat me to a couple of hours of great wine and even better chat. I walked away with a special bottle to bring back home to Australia, which I look forward to drinking in years to come, no doubt bringing back memories of my time in Seattle. Highly recommend a visit if you are in town and into wine! Thanks Greg, you are the man!

SY C: Great wine selection/atmosphere/price/location/friendly staffs. We will definitely visit again.

House of Smith Jet City Winery: what do users think?

Jennifer Jackman-Flores: What an amazing place! We just had the best time with Abigail and the entire crew there....and of course Theresa! THE best! ❤️HOS has so many great wines, our favorites MCK, the Creator, KC and some new ones we just tried Roma, Royal City and Moxee. The possibilities seem endless!Fantastic wine, keep up the amazing work over there! Cheers 🍷🍷🍷

Alexander Lee: Awesome customer service. Abigail did a customized wine tasting flight for me and patiently answered all of my questions about the different types of wine. As a newbie to the wine world, things can be very intimidating, but she made me feel at ease. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time thoroughly.

Laura Thorkildson: Loved it! Kid-friendly and pet friendly place with tons of different varietals to taste. The production facility is stunning. Great vibes and fantastic wines! Charcuterie was yummy as well. The staff was friendly and attentive and they were super flexible to customize our tasting since they knew we were serious and looking to buy. Worth a visit for a tasting! Will be returning

Christopher Walker: Located at the North end of Boeing Field, with floor to ceiling windows, this is an excellent place to do a tasting flight or buy a false and watch the planes. Standing tables only on the lower floor, and family friendly. Tasting flights are self directed, meaning there are 12 wines available to taste and you can choose any six of them. The knowledgeable and friendly staff is happy to help you navigate the available offerings, in addition to recommended tasting orders. Wines are available by the glass as well, and are an excellent opportunity to sample some of Smith's pricier bottles. Small bits such as cheese and charcuterie are available as well.

Pierluigi Casa: Splendid location, excellent wines produced by Carles Smith

Donna Scholz: Enjoyed their wide assortment of wines. Staff were very friendly and didn't make me feel rushed even though I unknowingly arrived within an hour of their closing time. Chacuterie board was very nice.

Sayana H: Simple and cool industrial designed tasting room. I fell in love with ‘CS’ Cabernet at QFC and then discovered there was a tasting room in Georgetown. I purchased several bottles and will definitely be back.

Lena Bundy: We had the best time tasting these amazing wines. Highly recommend coming here.

David Grieshaber: Love the Olson Kundig desing and the Cab!

Urselio Alvarez: Excellent wines and service. You enter a very friendly environment to taste only a few wines and maybe buy a few bottles, but the host was able to read quickly what my wife and I liked and even gave us more wines to taste than the 5 they had scheduled for that day. After the tenth wine I came out with a case of 12 bottles of wines to enjoy now and in a few years.

V. Andrews: Space is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. Their subscription program is definitely worth it.
