Be Luminous Yoga: what do users think?

Sherry Q: I am sad that it closed, I have been to this studio for 5 months and fell in love with yoga again. Both Micheal and Ashish really helped me building strength and stretching my body to the point that I don't have any back pain anymore and did a first ever handstand in my life. My husband started going there too, and it helped his back pain as well. I strongly recommend Micheal and Ashish's class. Micheal currently is not teaching anymore, but Ashish is still teaching. I really miss Micheal's class, I hope she can start teaching somewhere closer to SLU again, Please come back!

Gavi Franco: or

Neil Thawani: I traveled to Seattle for work and decided to drop into a yoga studio for two weeks. Little did I know I would find a tribe of some of the friendliest, most competent, and impressive yogis I have ever witnessed. It was a pleasure to be on the mat with the teachers and fellow students of BLY.

Jennifer Huber: I took a zoom class with Ashish and I highly recommend that you do too while we are practicing from wherever we are under quarantine. His teaching is effective and powerful and his cueing is clear and effective. I highly recommend checking him out with their zoom yoga offerings or go see him in person if you live in the Seattle area.

Peter Feysa: Favorite yoga spot.

Marcus: Dropped in for a class while visiting Seattle. Very aesthetically pleasing, clean studio. Instruction was also quality.

Psy Zhou: One of the best yoga studios in Seattle! Cozy and right in downtown!

Aline Altmann: Great classes, very demanding but still feasible for all levels since teachers would always give different options. Temperature of the heated classes is not too hot - overall a great experience and definitely recommended

Aimee Leong: Best yoga studio I've been to. Teachers are passionate, calm but not over-bearing.

Jonathan: You'll be hurting, in the best ways possible! Good skill range and schedule!

Irene Brown: Great

Lauren Whiddon: Some of the classes are too crowded for my taste. I love the combination lockers they have.

Modo Yoga Seattle: what do users think?

Maggie Astolfi: .

Rani Zimand: I love this studio. Creative and attentive instructors + free mat rentals if you bike-so awesome!

Michael Doquilo: Pranify has been great! I’ve been enjoying the classes a lot.

Bridgit Montgomery: I really enjoy practicing at Pranify! The lobby is a cozy, welcoming space, the locker room has all the amenities I need to shower and get ready for work and the practice space is large and clean. I'm a fan of Bekah and Greta in particular but have loved every class I've taken. Pranify definitely believes in community and I look forward to spending more time there on and off my mat! Thank you 😊

Olivia Moskowitz: Love this studio! The instructors are great and the space is beautiful.

Oren Levy: Great yoga location. Teachers are friendly and helpful. Easy to sign up for classes and a good range of classes as well. I very much recommend Peabody

Ellen Bruchmiller: I've been loving Pranify lately! It is a small studio, but they have a good variety of classes. Beautiful space and all the instructors have been great. Main reason for 4 stars is that the studio itself tends to get pretty smelly, which is not surprising given that it's hot yoga, but I have been to other hot yoga studios that didn't seem to have that problem. I also got spoiled having a good friend that was an exceptional yoga instructor, so my bar for class quality is extremely high. But overall, I would definitely recommend Pranify and I will be going back for the foreseeable future!

Logan Fitzgerald: A great overall experience! I'm new to Yoga and everyone being so friendly and inviting has really helped me feel like a part of the community. Every class has been great and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and I'm excited to continue to try all the different types of classes they offer.

Hannah Reilly: I’ve taken classes with Jodi, Chelsey, and Tami who are all wonderful teachers. The classes are very flowy and the staff create a warm atmosphere. The building is spacious and comfortable, it feels like a place run by people who love and care about yoga!

Natalie Dostoomian: I love going to Pranify to warm up on a chilly seattle morning. It is a welcoming and comfortable space

Joely Hannan: Hot yoga studio with great vibes in Greenlake! I've tried lots of studios traveling for work and this is a consistent favorite. There's good variety in classes for finding what you're looking for, awesome instructors, and the way the room is heated is comfortable!

Abbi Nussbaum: one of my favorite yoga studios in seattle! classes are the perfect temperature super hot, flows are always fun and challenging, and all the instructors i've taken are so welcoming and helpful for my practice!

S Young: I've attended Tami's and Chloe's classes for the past year and find them to be phenomenal yoga instructors - kind, knowledgeable, challenging in all the best ways. Staff in general have handled any issues/queries with openness, understanding and so much compassion. Great facility as well. I looks forward to coming every week to inprove my healtg.

Jenny Cugier: Pranify yoga has been such a game changer for me; I feel strong, zen and empowered! Love this place ♥️

Karin Stevens: LOVE this studio. Energy of staff, the aesthetics of the space, showers, and the HOT room. It is like a warm hug when you walk into the silent room and prepare to meet a thoroughly engaging power flow and flow. I like a 60 min class. And there are many daily options. And a 75 min if you need it. Teachers are very thoughtful and offer more than just movement, they offer teachings for life. I am a long-time yoga practitioner and am comfortable jumping into anything, but I wonder if these classes would be challenging for new practitioners to learn the poses. I've only taken The Roots class once and look forward to taking it more. Perhaps this is a class for newer yogis. Overall I am SO happy to be back in a yoga community. It has been a long time! And I also really like their online class schedule booking site! So easy to book and reschedule if needed. And they offer great workshop offerings. Thank you Pranify.

Julia Ginder: Love the variety of classes here and the beautiful facilities. It’s also so convenient for those in the Green Lake area.

Lizzy Canarie: Pranify has made me fall in love with hot yoga again.

Sohyun Park: Great yoga studio! I love that it is warm, but not too hot to complete your 1 hr yoga class. Highly recommend!

Brianna Foley: I've really enjoyed classes at Pranify. Each teacher brings something different to the class and the environment has been inviting and warm.

Aditi Yoga|Wellness Studio: what do users think?

Katie C: Aditi has the best prenatal yoga classes I’ve taken. They are consistent, well informed, gentle and safe. You can tell that the women who take them are healthy and happy in their pregnancy. I recently learned that you don’t get that at some other established prenatal classes in the area. I recommend this yoga studio to anyone and everyone.

Christine Pham: Good

Anne Kimsey: The world seems so daunting when you're newly postpartum. The places and spaces that felt familiar and easy pre-baby are suddenly obstacle courses that you have to navigate with a hungry infant and all her accessories. Luckily I found the Baby & Me class at Aditi during this time. It provided me with a space to softly tiptoe back into the world. Parking is easy, the cancellation policy is generous...you don't even have to bring your own mat. You show up with your baby, one of the lovely teachers offers you tea and for the next hour or so you can just hang out with with your baby and get reacquainted with your body. It's not a strenuous workout, but it is so very restorative. So glad this place exists.

Kt M: I adore Aditi prenatal yoga! Morning classes with Julie are fire, evenings with Christy are rejuvenating and classes with Suzette are a perfect balance between. The only thing I would ask for more of would be music during class, only because the occasional music is lovely and just my cup of tea.

Courtney Johnson: I absolutely love both the prenatal classes with Suzette and the prenatal massages as well! Autumn was great to really work out those pressure/tight areas. She is sweet and makes the whole experience comfortable. It was super helpful to get some pointers and what’s tight and then talk through some stretches after. Kalika’s massages are very relaxing and I feel like I’m in a meditative state. Super helpful for when I need to just escape. We can’t forget about Suzette and her incredible prenatal yoga classes. I feel taller when I’m done! She is so wonderful about going at your own pace and the stretching helpings tremendously. She makes the whole experience about connecting with yourself and your baby. Can’t say enough positive things about this place. It doesn’t hurt that it’s beautiful and has an easy online booking system. Thank you Aditi for making this pregnancy experience empowering and managing my pain!

Meagavin Pateutsch: Amazing yoga studio!

Neha Chinchanikar: for prenatal massages, I find the set up very comfortable. My back, calves and hips have been in constant pain through the pregnancy but after prenatal massages with Iris, I find immediate relief. Thank you Iris. I am going to continue to visit Aditi even after delivery for postnatal massages and yoga. I highly recommend them.

Christina Sheehan: !

Rachel Fraunhoffer: , and relaxation. Now that baby is here, I am loving the Baby & Me, postnatal, and barre classes, and it’s so helpful that babies are always welcome. The studio is beautiful with lots of natural light and Julie, the owner, has created such a wonderful community.

Nayiri Haroutunian: I had an amazing relaxing massage with Kendra this week as I prepare for my upcoming wedding. I’ve had many massages before and hers was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t ever remember saying “that was awesome!” in the middle of a massage before. If you want a massage therapist who’s kind, receptive, and technically experienced, schedule an appointment with Kendra!

shirley nelsen: I have benefited 100% from my massages from Kendra. She is a rock star! I hope she never leaves!

Andrea Maria Roth: I come here for prenatal yoga. All the teachers that I had so far are truly wonderful. I feel so relaxed after each session and I learned a lot if technics that I hopefully can use during labour as well. I highly recommend this place.

Alina Okhotnikova: Good prenatal classes, good prices, convenient facilities!

Olivia Morse: I came here for prenatal yoga and post natal yoga. It was great: my favorite part of my pregnancy by far! The staff is friendly, informative and welcoming. They even have pre and post natal massage options as well as regular massage. I would highly recommend this studio

Urban Yoga Spa: what do users think?

Richard Hatcher: Perfect yoga studio to practice your breath, movement and peace.

Katie Tran: I seriously love this place! I have been practicing Vinyasa Yoga for about 3 years and this studio has the best flows! Each teacher has different sequences so you aren't repeating the same flow everyday like most mainstream studios. Team is friendly, welcoming and encouraging. I hope to come here for a long time.

Ambre Music: , the teacher and sequencing, and the music!! The music was loud and upbeat and singing together at the end was spesh! I'll be back! xo

MB Taylor: Visiting Seattle and staying in a hotel downtown - so glad I got a chance to do a hot yoga class here. It is HOT but great. Clean, big space, good instructor, reasonable price. I recommend it!

Sherry Q: great costumer service!

Kathy Hua: My favorite yoga studio downtown! The classrooms are clean and zen. The classes are heated and you can’t leave a class without sweating everything out. All the instructors I’ve ever taken classes with are amazing.

Bernadette Zimmerman: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityExcellent spa. One of the best.

H Lin: A very clean and calm space with good vibe. As soon as I walked in, I feel that I was completely isolated from the streets I just walked in which is exactly why I came here. Staff I met were all pretty nice and friendly. A great place to get away from all the craziness in this extraordinary time!

Ews: This place is amazing! The part of the room with the lower ceiling is hotter.. but overall it was perfect temperature for yoga.. I like it hot and this was a great studio..

Xingyue Hawkins: Great place 👌

Jessica: This place is great. The rooms are hot and the staff is very accommodating and friendly.

April A: Great place! Everyone super friendly! Opened up a month or so ago, social distancing practices in place and works well. Live stream into studios. Can reserve last minute easily!

Nellie Scoular: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI can't believe I ever gave this place anything lower than four stars.I would give them ten if I could. Great staff and they really take care of their clients needs.

Breathe Hot Yoga: what do users think?

Anna Bell: Dan was a great teacher! Pushes you in a healthy way

Tahel Kooby: I've gone for over 6 years and it's an amazing studio. Kristin is amazing; professional, hilarious and instructs.

Jean Prominski: . The heat really helps loosen up my muscles so I can stretch better. Since they have 3 locations, there’s a great variety of times that classes are offered. If you’re looking for a great yoga and Pilates studio in Seattle, I highly suggest Breathe!

Thomas: It may take a little while to try the various instructors to find where you mesh but I recommend classes with Amber, Eddie, and Andrea.

Serina Hsu: A beautiful studio with passionate and smart instructions.

Mary jane Shaw: Well for starters the studio is good enough space for everyone but sometimes they just overbooked it when it’s like 6 and 7pm classes and sometimes I still see strands of hair on the floor and they only have 1 towel to use to wipe the weights and such but the teachers were amazing I highly recommend book on Susannah’s class! She’s a great instructor very helpful with a fun side! But overall experience is 4 ⭐️ ‘s! I will stick to this yoga studio it’s closer and good environment!

Gisela Cardenas: Best yoga tribe in Brownsville

Lucas Roncato Batista: Great place! Great staff!

harsha rastogi: I have been going to this studio for around six months and I totally enjoyed my time here. My favorite classes were Hot Pilates and Bikram 60/90. What I liked most about Bikram classes by Mike was its focus on improving each and every pose and perfecting them over a period of time. If you want more cardio in your workout, then Hot Pilates is a good option. Its main focus is core body workout and a high intensity interval training. Yin is also an interesting class if you are looking deep stretches and relaxation. Another great thing about the class, is that sometimes instructors come and correct your poses, I think that helps.Make sure you keep yourself hydrated before and after the class, Bikram 90 classes tend to get very hot.

Metta C: . You will find some instructors offer classes at both. I love that there are so many different personalities, although they are all very friendly and willing to help you with perfecting your pose. There are also a variety of special events happening that range from yoga workshops to holistic wellness. Facilities are always clean. Culture is always welcome to newbies wanting to make a positive change in their bodies. Grab an auto-debit membership to get the most of what you pay. Highly recommend this place!

Tricia F: changing rooms are VERY small, however. There are two showers, and room for about 4-5 people to comfortably change clothes. There are obviously more women than this in a class, so this presents a problem between classes when people are coming in and out of the changing area. The location is easy to get to, and there are spots to park bikes out front.

Alissa Dare: . I've made similar requests of other companies and been told, "No, but it's always good for $30 at our store". Well, not only did the owners agree to let me extend the original value of the deal, they also have an onsite physical therapist, so I can start healing sooner. Sometimes the simple act of good will demonstrates the values of a business. I'm impressed.

Khalif A.: Fantastic experience! Really relaxing & feel more stretched than I have in a while

Angelica Gutierrez: Fantastic class… deep stretches… perfect!

Pierre Bradette: A great studio with fantastic teachers - all very skilled with years of experience. Great place to immerse yourself in yoga and learn at your own pace. The instructors meet you where you are at in terms of ability and skill. They will challenge you in a way that prioritizes what is safe and what you are ready for.

Feven H: I took a noon class, fundamentals with Kathryne Bouchard. Such a beautiful flow. Challenging but gentle. It didn't feel like I was working hard, more like traveling/exploring in my body. Abs were very sore next day lol. I recommend! Thank you Seattle Arts.

Jordan Kump: Fantastic local studio. Ellen in particular is an amazing teacher. The free to use mats, props, and water is so convenient. If you haven't tried one of their classes, sign up today!

Lauren Cree: I was devastated when my beloved "yoga home", Sutra in Wallingford, closed its doors a few years ago. Began my search and upon a friend's recommendation took a couple of classes at SYA. Well.....the rest as they say is history. Beautiful space, warm and welcoming staff and teachers who really know their stuff, innovative and supportive styles of classes for all levels/moods, and a lovely and diverse community.

Mauricio Borges: Best place to do traditional Yoga in Seattle

S Antupit: SYA is Seattle's most wonderful community, studio, and teacher training resource.

Michelle Peterson: I have been a student since 2002. There is no other studio I've been so at home in.

The Grinning Yogi - Seattle Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Mallika: This place is amazing! You walk out feeling fresh rejuvenated and happy. One of the best yoga studios I’ve ever been to.

Sonam Singh: I love this yoga studio. I have taken classes with Arzu, Ashish, Anja, and some other teachers and always had a great time.

Gilberto Silva: It was really a nice experience. Instructor Ashish we was super good, for a beginner like me, he was helpful and welcoming. The environment with other people was awesome.

Anya Y: I love the instructors! Can't recommend this space enough. The space can get pretty crowded sometimes so I would try to arrive a bit earlier sometimes to make sure there's a good spot!

Victoria Venturella: Shannon Ryan is the best yoga instructor i've ever had! I love how mindful she is of what we are needing and what works best for us! She is authentic, fun, and intune with our bodily landscape in its totality. Both emotionally and physically! I haven't taken a class with her yet where I haven't continuously smiled! I wish she was in Capitol Hill more often!

Meg M: I love Ginning Yogi. In a city that is packed full of yoga studios, Grinning has been my favorite from the very first class I took there. Warmth, generosity, kindness, humor. Grinning is the place you turn for all of this goodness while also having a safe environment to move your body.If you haven't had a chance to check out their online classes, do yourself a favor. They're amazing. Or check out the variety of other ways they offer to practice safely - small groups, outdoors, etc. When the Grinning doors fully open again - and they will - treat yourself to classes there. It's going to be amazing to get back in Studio when the time is right.Thank you, Grinning Yogi, for being there. You all create light and love in what can sometimes be a dark world.

Summer Bourn: I have been practicing here since 2016 and took my teacher training here! Wonderful community with welcoming and knowledgeable teachers. So happy to have found this space that has become such an integral part of my life. So much appreciation to the owner, Jamie, for bringing this space to the community.

Emily Kongchunji: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA lovely studio in a beautiful neighborhood. I have enjoyed my practice here, the teachers are insightful and I always come away better.

David: This place has two connected studios, large rooms, more of a hippy interior and facilities are okay. Didn’t particularly enjoy the loud music but I knew that going in, instructors are generally good. Parking is very hard to come by after work.

Neda Javadpour: small studio but amazing instructors.

Spira Power Yoga: what do users think?

Rucker Alex: classes as well as occasional workshops, retreats, and mindfulness / yoga teacher trainings too. There's always parking right in front, and Dora has also allowed me to bring my bike into the lobby for safekeeping during class.

Amanda Babai: Spira is one of the best studios I’ve ever been to—it’s clean, friendly, and welcoming. Dora is an amazing teacher and yogini, and I love how she perfectly combines physical rigor with the spiritual & mental sides of yoga. Truly, it’s an art.

Shannon Rock: I've been doing yoga at Spira for several years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. Dora's yoga classes are physically challenging for the experienced yogi, but not unapproachable for those new to the practice. She has an incredible depth of knowledge, so you know you're learning proper technique. She's also darn funny, reminding us that joy and humor are important parts of every life endeavor. This is NOT just an exercise class, Dora is building something special here in Issaquah. Support small local business owners and gain a community!

Dana Reinert: Great slow-flow Sunday PM class with Alyssa. I’ve been looking for a slower, more mindful practice that still gives me great movement, and Alyssa’s Yin/Yang class on Sunday PM at 5:30 was fantastic! If you’re looking for a slow vinyasa and yin poses, a dose of wisdom, and a welcoming environment at all levels, check this one out. I live in Ballard but I’ll be coming back!

Maven. A Yoga Studio.: what do users think?

Carli L: Maven is the best. I attended this studio for 2 years until I had to move and absolutely loved the challenge and peace it brought me multiple times a week. Kai is an incredible teacher who has a unique touch to his classes, he’s a great yoga instructor and his music sets the vibe every time. Each week, Kai had a new flow and always challenged certain poses and stretches. I also went to Carly’s classes and loved them as well, she is so peaceful and meditative. Will come back to this studio if I find myself in Seattle again. Love it so much and will miss it!

Jodi Boone: I just started to attend this studio, and it is truly lovely. The aesthetic is beautiful with wood floors, exposed brick, and soft lighting, it has a relaxed and intimate feel, and I have appreciated the excellent teaching, as well as kindness, of the two teachers whose classes I have attended so far, Kai and Hannah. What a gem of a studio.

Joe Hiatt: Maven offers consistently transcendent, transformative yoga. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Molly Hallahan: I've tried so many different yoga studios in Seattle and this is by far my favorite!!

Zachary Kirshbaum: As someone trained in yoga teaching, this is my favorite studio that I have been to! I cannot recommend this place enough, and I feel lucky that I live nearby and get to go as often as I do :D

Sophie Dion-Kirschner: Hannah is an amazing yoga instructor and person

Cassius Wright: What an outstanding experience! You can tell much about a business by how the owner interacts with the community and Kai has proven to be an outstanding example of that. Beyond being professional and capable, Kai demonstrates that the most important aspect of any successful enterprise is still kindness. As a fellow business owner I can say with certainty that Kai exemplifies positivity, intelligence and heart, even to complete strangers. Highly recommended 😎

Scott G.: First ever yoga experience and needed to work on flexibility versus strength building and the hot yoga session I attended was exactly what I needed.

Tiffany Huan: This studio feels like home. Great community of teachers and students that cater to all levels of practice. Classes are vibrant, challenging and heated. I needed to move around and unstuck my energy from my WFH situation and Maven was the answer. Every single teacher is incredible and comes with their own unique style.

Trey Harnden: Maven is a great yoga studio. There is street parking. There are nice showers onsite. The classes are heated flow. So temps are mid 90s. Different flow each class. Soft music & lights that follow the flow. Really enjoy all of the instructors

Holly Real: This studio is wonderful! I always feel nervous to try out a new studio and this was such a dream!

cait: which was nice for me but I can see this place filling up sooner rather than later once the word gets out :

Dana Donovick: was fantastic. I felt like she took me through a therapeutic journey that helped me synchronize my mind and body

Megan Tuschhoff: Highly recommend! Maven is such a warm and welcoming place with fantastic instructors and community! I travel a lot for work and family, so I’m regularly out of town, but find myself craving the classes here when I’m away! Every class I’ve taken has has incorporated a wonderfully balanced and intentional flow, great cueing, and supportive instruction. Very much looking forward to my next class!

Barry Brinker: Hands down the best yoga studio in Seattle! Authentic, articulate, and all around A-MAZ-ING teachers. All the teachers are descriptive with their cues and very helpful with choices for modifications to suit your body. A clean and cozy space with great music and lighting. Kai has done a great job in providing a welcoming space for all. 5 STARS!!!!

ashley salo: is what keeps me coming back.I'm astoundingly grateful that a whim has turned into something so much more, and I'm so much looking forward to working on my practice within this beautifully established community!Thank you Kai and the rest of the instructors for creating the space for all of this.
