Laura Ingrao: Great spot for adult dance classes! I love that it’s one of the few spots that offers shuffling classes. I wish more people knew about them having shuffle so there could be more advanced sessions as well as the beginner.
Louisa Peck: I enjoyed ballet classes at ADI way back in the 1980s when I took my body's abilities for granted, but I also returned there in my 50s to revive my skills. The atmosphere was perfect for me. I got encouragement and expert guidance, but what I most remember is my excitement when a teacher told me I belonged in the intermediate class! I hope to go back to ADI in my 60s and try some jazz dance.

Pearl White: Just took a contemporary class with Angie, and I was just so impressed with how welcoming of a space it was. She is by far one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She teaches a TRUE beginners class. All too often I see teachers moving too quickly in beginner classes or assuming students have dance background and know terminology. Angie starts from the very beginning. Very impressed.
Cynthia Spalding: The ballet classes for adults are great. Wonderful teachers, good studio spaces, relaxed but mindful atmosphere, friendly attitudes. A bit expensive, but worth it. Victoria at Greenwood is great, patient, informative, and inspirational!

Alex Olson: Had my daughter’s 3rd birthday here, and it was great. The staff is SO accommodating and nice. One person helped us load presents into the car, and they were just so friendly with the kids. They handled 12 energetic toddlers amazingly. Would definitely recommend for a fun birthday party for kids!
Christa Pietromonaco: My two children started with ADI Magnolia in September and they have both my 5 1/2 year old son and 4 year old daughter have been loving it. The class is a great mix of free form dance and some structure to help build a base for ballet. Would highly recommend the school.

Swanky Christy: Amazing first time experience at McCaw hall ballet. Nutcracker was one of my favorite ballet! It brought me many childhood memories as my mom used to take me when I was a kid back in Europe. Classic Tchaikovsky music was always such a pleasure to listen. I love the costumes, the choreography the music, decorations everything was absolutely amazing.Only one thing I didn't like but it's not ballet related its more to McCaw hall. Coming from Europe and going my whole life to ballet & theatre we have amazing breaks with champagne small bites and fancy crostinis. The beer in plastic cup and selection of some donuts was absolutely disappointing. I took 1 champagne that they forced me to pour in plastic cup and it was so disgusting! I regret I took that drink I couldn't even finish it. I wish choices were more extravagant just like in Europe.

Alex Free: I recently attended a performance of The Nutcracker by the Pacific Northwest Ballet and was absolutely blown away! The dancers were incredibly talented and the choreography was stunning. The theater itself was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend attending a performance if you get the chance!

S M: Great place to see the ballet. Nutcracker is incredibly family friendly. Gorgeous costumes, beautiful dancing, pleasant atmosphere. Cost is reasonable and there are differing cost tiers that allow you to find something that fits your budget.
David Nold: Swan Lake. Perfectly done. How lucky Seattle is. Four acts so three intermissions. Some great seats still available. Thinking of seeing it twice.
Nibs: First time attending the Nutcracker Ballet. Such a fun evening with family and really kicked off the holidays for us!
Janelle Donovan: before the show starts. It's a lifesaver to not have to stand in the line during the intermission. I would also suggest getting there early for the Nutcracker because they decorate the lobby and it's easier to get booster seats. The show itself was very well done, although I would have preferred not to have the movie in the beginning and middle.

I love that folks cheer each other on and laugh together in class- it’s a great sign of a healthy dance environment! Koshtra Tolle: My neurodiverse daughter attended ARC from age 3-8 and loved it! Then pandemic hit and she declined to attend zoom classes and joined a bunch of other sports which she excelled at. Fast forward 3 years and having no real solid interest in those sports she begged to go back to ARC because she missed the dance classes and the comraderie from both the dancers and the instructors, especially the director Ms. Marie. I’m deeply grateful for their welcoming her back with open arms. The consistency of instruction and professionalism are outstanding and my kiddo has gotten to take part in 6 Nutcracker performances and many spring recitals too! Highly recommend!

claudcerrato: My daughter has been at ARC for several years now and has had a great experience so far. She started off at a recreational school that offered all types of dance but she wanted more of a traditional ballet school. After a lot of research on ballet schools in the area we moved her to ARC. Since starting at ARC my daughter’s technique and form have improved tremendously. The teachers and director at ARC have provided her with a formal and disciplined education in ballet in a very supportive and nurturing environment. She has also been provided with multiple audition and performance options each year including the opportunity to perform in the Nutcracker, which has become a wonderful part of her holiday tradition. It is a great community of staff, parents and students and my daughter adores her time dancing there.

He picks engaging choreographies, while taking input from the class. So well so that my daughter now choreographs dances at home. The academy offers various classes for adults and kids. Kids classes go beyond mere dancing, and serve as personality building opportunities.

Kay Lee: The staff is the genuinely wonderful! They’re understanding and accommodating. They understand kids get sick and allow makeup classes. My daughter has had classes with a few different instructors and has loved them all. This is a place I refer others to all the time.
Olga Garmash: I am taking atdStudios adult classes since January 2023, specifically Intermediate/Advanced Ballet and Barre. I really like the school and the instructors, always have great time. When I join a new class, the atmosphere is very welcoming and instructors are always very kind and accommodating to my level. The school also has special events together with the classes, which are a lot of fun.

ATD's administration is always efficient, kind and accomodating with life with kids. Highly recommend ATD for little ones and big ones to explore their inner dancers!

Sodelba Amador: This was my first class, here. I loved the class with Moire Hale! She was welcoming and sweet. Also, whatever headset she was using, I wish other instructors with microphones used the same! It was clear and not so loud. The class was fun and upbeat with good challenges. I am out of shape so my legs were shaking through some of the legwork. Love it.
Amina Mansour: I’ve been looking for a fun but also challenging dance fitness class and I finally found the perfect mix with Cliff Simmons’ Afrobeats/dance hall class. Cliff’s energy is amazing and the class is so much fun. I enjoyed my time and got a killer workout at the same time. I’m definitely coming back even though I live in Bellevue!
Sean Lannin: My daughters have attended ATD classes for several years, and we love the whole experience: the costumes performances on stage, their graceful practicing at home, and the friends they have made here with both teachers and students.

Marian Wagner: has been going since she was 4 months and it has been such a great class to learn how to move, dance, and play with baby in ways that support baby’s physical and motor development! I have also made many friends with other parents there and my baby looooves going and seeing the other babies there too! I highly recommend this class for those with and without concerns about their baby’s physical development. It has been such an important part of my learning and supporting my baby’s development.

Emily Cherkin: Creative Dance Center is a diamond in the rough. We have been taking our kids to classes here for nearly ten years, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Not only is the teaching staff phenomenal, but the inclusive, whole-brain, everyone-is-welcome approach is emulated in everything CDC does. I love the multi-age opportunities for the children in the form of Mosaic Junior Dance company and Kaleidoscope. My kids love the shows every Mother's Day weekend, which has become a family tradition. Unlike other dance studios, the emphasis here is on how brain and body are connected, expressing yourself through movement, and working creatively with other people of different ages and ability levels. This place is outstanding and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Laurent Gherardi: I’ve had two kids there attending since before they could walk. The “Brain Dance” and strong community is an amazing addition to raising the whole child. Self choreographing dance makes it creative and cooperative not competitive. They are inclusive of all bodies and minds. My kids’ balance and movement would not be the same without Creative Dance Center and their long standing tradition to be there for their development.

Rachel LaRoche: So far we have had Teacher Kechelle, and Teacher Anna. The BEST! Remarkable what they can teach a small child, in a fun and caring atmosphere.
Danielle Yuhasz: I was here for a school event with a Pre-K class for my daughter's school. Lots of fun! Probably one of the best field trips of the year.
Kat Harding: We have been here for infant / caregiver movement classes and are now starting toddler classes. The space and the teachers are fantastic.
Liz Whalley: Love this place. They have great classes for all ages of kids and the director, Terry Goetz, is incredible. I've been taking my daughter here since she was a baby and she loves it.
