Heather Schultz: MRM worked with us to add a master bedroom suite with a hallway that connected to our original small home.They also removed a fireplace and added additional storage cabinets to the original home which along with new fixtures and paint really transformed the space. It was a 6.5 month project.MRM was on budget and on time. They created a beautiful, functional new living space that blends seamlessly inside and out with the original home. There were very few hiccups during the remodel and when issues arose they were very responsive to our concerns and found solutions that worked for us. Communication throughout the project was frequent and frictionless.Everyone who has seen the new space has raved about it. Lucy Jarosz: Rain was leaking into my garden shed from the roof. Carlos diagnosed and repaired the leaks, which were coming from a number of different sources and were tricky to diagnose. His problem solving skills, experience, and professionalism are outstanding. He is one of the reasons I am a Gaspar Handyman Services customer.

I have the highest respect for their honesty and integrity.They are not the least expensive option out there for a large remodel, but they are the best and worth every penny. Brendan Hannemann: I contracted with Gaspar's to install a steel mantel into tile above my fireplace. This work was the last remaining item of a multi-month gas fireplace conversion, and the fireplace company would not take it on due to risk of cracking the tile. Gaspar's informed me of the risk as well, yet was willing to give it a try.Turns out, it was porcelain tile which is much harder/denser and takes a specialized diamond bit to drill into without cracking. The Gaspar's contractor inspected the tile, found the correct bit, and performed the work with high level of professionalism. He even brought a gimbaled laser level to make sure the 58" mantel was installed level.After completing the work we had some extra time, so the Gaspar's contractor offered to do some small jobs around the house which I could think of in the moment, without any extra cost. He even showed me how to do them next time. Super happy with the finished work, and excellent service!

Gail Longhi: I had a small job - replacing the wood steps up to my front porch. Friends suggested a private handyman, but I chose Gaspar's because I knew I could trust their work for quality and efficiency. I am so glad I did.Their employee, Chris Bucklin, was terrific. He came with the experience to know exactly what needed to be done, and had the tools and equipment to do it. He went right to work, and never stopped. He not only replaced the steps, but the stair supports that were rotten. He was careful to save the wood that could be saved, and paid attention to the details that finish a job, i.e. bonding and sanding, patching imperfections, and caulking, gluing and reinstalling what he had been able to save. He cleaned up everything at the end of the day, and later had it hauled away and dumped. And, on top of that, he was personable, showing me the work, providing explanations and answering my questions.Gaspar's, and Chris were great.I would use both of them again without reservation, for any job I needed done.

We interviewed multiple contractors back in 2022 and I found Liran to be upfront, true to his word and highly communicative. His quote was also the most reasonable after seeking consultation from friends. Despite the delays we incurred from materials and permit scheduling, Liran and crew were extremely accommodating with any changes we needed to make. Their craftmanship has exceeded my expectations. Maki: Liran and his company, Level Up Construction & Remodeling Co, saved us from a bad situation. We discovered our bathroom had been leaking for years and had dry rot everywhere. The last contractor did a lousy job and left the space structurally unsound. Liran and his crew step in to fix everything. Our bathroom looks fantastic now, and I don't have to worry about it collapsing! Liran is a knowledgeable builder, from remodeling to ground-up home building. He has been dependable and responsive throughout the project. His crew is fast, meticulous, clean, and respectful of our space. Remodeling is disruptive, but Liran makes it less so. We worked with Liran and Alan mostly, and the follow-up is so great. Almost a year later, and there have been a few minor fixes, but they've been following up and fixing anything that came up afterward. Can't really ask for more in terms of honesty and making sure their product is to a customer's satisfaction.

Donna Howard: I don't even know where to begin. Liran, the owner of Level Up, saved me from a disaster of a small bathroom/kitchen renovation I had started with another contractor. It quickly became apparent that this person was over their head, but by then my kitchen and bathroom were in a shambles and I was in a panic. Liran responded to my initial inquiry quickly and calmly, and came out within 24 hours to look at the project and give me his honest assessment. He was willing to tell me what the other person wasn't...that my 95-year-old house needed more than just the small job I had planned because there were problems with wiring, plumbing and code violations that were exposed as things had been removed. It felt very overwhelming, and this is where his vision and his demeanor came in really handy. He walked me through the process as we went, helping me to make decisions on design, colors and fixtures. He has a pleasant personality and is great to work with. He manages his own crew of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc., so can keep things moving along. They all did excellent work and made sure I had all the information I needed to think of not only my current needs but also the next 20 years. And, most importantly, Liran was in constant contact with me, even when I left town for vacation, to make sure I was aware of what was happening and what the next steps were. What started as a nightmare of a project ended up being much less so due to the trust he allowed me to have in him and his team. I cannot recommend him enough.

The owner, Liran, is great at communicating and keeps things very organized. His people always showed up on time and things moved along smoothly. Every demolition, inspection, and installation went as planned. And if we had any questions about anything to do with the project, big or small, Liran was right there for us. They able to understand my terrible explaining of what I wanted to do but also offer so many suggestions on things I would have never thought of to improve my basic plan. Ryan Russell: We hired J&M to do a bedroom addition, shower addition to a powder room, and mudroom install. Justin and Mandy were very responsive during the estimate phase. Carlos was the project manager, he was solid. Jose did a lot of the work, he was excellent, top notch quality and efficiency. Overall the project finished ahead of budget and on schedule. Justin was very knowledgeable and when he provided the proposal and budget we were blown away with the level of detail compared to others we had reached out to. The remodel project involved removing all existing appliances, cabinets, countertops, and lighting, and replacing with new ones, including tiling on the walls. We kept the basic footprint the same, but re-worked some functionality and added a few new features like a wine fridge.We enjoyed working with the entire team throughout the project. Justin was helpful in answering our questions as we selected appliances and prepared for the renovation. I’m quite picky, and had lots of questions and feedback, but they handled it very well. Divven was great at customer service and planning. Rick was our project manager, and proved to be very personable and detail-oriented. Our kitchen turned out very nicely despite our very old and out of level house, and we often walk in and think wow! What a great kitchen! The project was on time and on budget, which I think speaks to the care that Built Square brings to their projects. I hope we can work with them again.
Jennifer E: Nathan and Enrique were a delight! We have just finished a large remodel on our Seattle home, and Built Square was absolutely the right choice for us. Nathan was so organized - much more than what we expected from a typical contractor. We had a standing weekly meeting with a printed agenda; he was always prepared for the meeting and knew the details of what we needed to cover; billing was clear and openly discussed; we had a printed calendar with the job stages on it; he provides a Google sheet to be sure finishes are selected and clear to everyone. Of course, mistakes are bound to happen during a large, 6-month job - and Nathan handled them with poise. He was honest and fair and clearly explained options for solutions.As important was Enrique, who was our lead on a daily basis on our job. Enrique was on-time, pleasant, the perfect amount of chatty, and completed work with the highest quality I could have imagined. He was kind to our dog and daughter and always beyond respectful of our home. I could not have imagined a more pleasant person to have practically living with us for 6 months!Our job finished on-time and on-budget, with the exception of increases in scope that we decided to do along the way. I look forward to an opportunity to work with Nathan and Enrique again and am pleased to recommend them to anyone considering a Seattle remodel!

Patty Bauer: & measurements, plus an incredibly fast turnaround from order to installation day. The installation process took only took two days from start to finish. We’re very happy with the quality of cabinets for the cost and the skill of the installers. They were quick, efficient and kept their work space extremely clean. Our overall cost came in much lower than even the local hardware stores. Robert patiently walked us through every decision and communicated well. I wish we’d found First Avenue Kitchen & Bath sooner!
Nick Baumingham: We had a really great experience with 1st Ave Kitchen & Bath. From our first visit, Robert helped us envision what type of cabinetry layout could fit well in our simple kitchen. He essentially played the role of designer for us, as we took all of his helpful suggestions. Scheduling the installation was straight forward, and the team did a quality job for us. Their crew knocked it out in a day and their work was precise and exactly to the mockups. Robert continued to then help us order a bathroom vanity and coordinate pickup with a third party. It literally took half hour from the moment I walked into the store until I walked out. They came and installed my cabinets in one day and the next day they installed my counter top. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality cabinets and reasonable price.
Don Kaufman: We have been using another cabinet provider for 10 years in our apartment buildings. I just went to 1st avenue over some service issues and they did the first installation yesterday. The cabinets themselves are slightly higher quality. The team came and did the install in one day versus the other company which took half day for the cabinets and half day for the countertops. I highly recommend them.
