Stephanie Xie: Love the Pilates classes here! The instructors are great about correcting your form, giving different options, and explaining the moves so you don’t injure yourself. Out of all the studios I’ve tried I like the Pilates here the best!

Swechha Ghimire: This studio and the instructors are awesome! Sometimes the Pilates classes at studios can be super chaotic and demanding but I feel like the classes at Tribe are challenging but manageable!! The instructors are also really nice and explain how to do positions well! Sometimes the music isnt my fave but thats really my only complaint!

Jessica: has been super great at what they do and they always jump in to help correct my form when needed in a friendly and nonjudgemental way. I can already feel myself building strength and actually look forward to working out rather than dread it. The strong and lean class in the back room is also a great circuit based class using traditional weights, and I switch it up between that and the reformer light class throughout the week!

The impeccably clean & maintained space, attentive staff, and abundance of high quality equipment create a welcoming and elevated gym experience for everyone. Not to mention the wide selection of fitness classes led by wonderful instructors every single day. I’ve worked out at an assortment of gyms over the years and TSG stands out beyond comparison. Great community and great location, too. I absolutely recommend TSG to anyone looking for a great gym experience!

Tristan Ingold: This is an amazing gym for a seasoned lifter or someone that is making a workout their news resolution. For Seattle the membership fee is affordable and you get so many perks. Also it’s a month to month membership so they do not lock you into a long term contract. On the perks, they have a sauna, locker rooms, a weight room, cardio room, and they offer tons of classes that come free with the membership!

RobNeir: HIGHLY recommend. Best gym in Seattle. Nice community. Not overly modern like LA fitness which is lame. Much more down to earth family run, clean, good people. Everything you could need including some boxing bags, open space for activities upstairs, plenty of weighs and machines.

Courtney Duhaime: The Bungee classes are a blast! You get to jump, dance, and basically fall down freely for an hour while attached to the ceiling. Best.Feeling.Ever! It only feels like a work out after you complete a full routine and then realize you are dripping in sweat, but can't wait to start it from the top again. Being a person that has not dedicated really any time to fitness prior to this year, I find myself looking forward to being here at least 3 times a week. The instructors are fun, encouraging, knowledgeable, and are working hard to build a supportive community. Not only is it a ton of fun, but coming here for the last 6 months has also gotten me into a shape that I did not think possible, specifically in my stomach. I never in my life expected to look down and see an ab or feel confident enough to rock a crop top, but both are a real thing since coming to Coreo. Absolutely, LOVE!

Beverly Turnbow: I can't gush enough about my experience at Pure Barre! I started in May of 2023, and this is the longest I've stuck with any exercise program, and it's because the people and the program make you want to keep coming back. I have chronic pain issues and after my Barre class, I have less pain, I'm stretched out, feel stronger and my mind is clear and ready to conquer the day!! It's a warm and welcoming team of GREAT instructors, and I think of the classes like a group personal training session, because the instructors are so helpful, encouraging proper alignment and posture to get the most out of the work out. They offer lots of classes to accommodate every schedule, challenges throughout the year, for fun and motivation, and you can just tell that Kait and her team put so much into making it a great place to work out. If you are on the fence, give Pure Barre a try, you wont regret it!

Mina O'Boyle: I love pure barre. It’s a total body workout and the hour goes by so quickly! The instructors are nice, the music is awesome, and I have noticed an improvement in my core and arm strength.

All staff are so welcoming and kind. I was pleasantly surprised how the instructors seemed to know my name and everyone else’s so quickly. The workouts are just great! There is enough variation to accommodate a myriad of strength levels so whether you’re a beginner or seasoned athlete, the classes are challenging and really fun. I love the different types of classes offered. I never feel bored at a barre class, but I also don’t feel overwhelmed or as though success is out of reach. I love the diversity of the Pure Barre community. It is such great workout experience and also just really fun to workout to music!

Isabelle Aff: but loved getting my first barre class free. I got a membership that same day and since then all the instructors have been so helpful and kind. It truly feels like a judgment free zone and they really want to know your name and make you feel comfortable. I love barre because I feel like I’m really pushing myself without absolutely dying out of breath. I am sore after and feel the burn in the greatest way. Amanda Hinchcliff: I love this place!!! It's been life changing for me. When I started coming I was a couch potato and there were times I thought I might not make through the workout. It's been almost a year and a half and I now come 3-4 times a week. I still find the workouts challenging, but I have seen VAST improvements in my strength, endurance, and balance, which is probably the best it's been in my life. I even feel better about myself. The staff are so friendly and supportive, and they will make sure you are actually doing the exercises right. I feel so safe there, especially compared to a gym. The other clients are friendly and fun. There is definitely a great sense of community.

Heather A Adams: This place is awesome! I’ve been to two classes here, dance club with Medora and the Afrobeats class and both were doable for a first timer. I have had dance class experience, but I had never been to these classes before and the way they are formatted means that you can scramble along even if you’ve never been there before. There are 2 to 4 minute songs, and the eight counts are repeated so you can pick it up after a while. I can see where if you come from week to week, you would have the dances down like the rest of the class. The biggest, and most lovable thing about community fitness is the warm and friendly reception I’ve had each time I’ve come there. Not just by the teachers but by the class members . I always seem to have a conversation or get high-fives or encouragement from the people around me. They have towels and water and lots of space to store Your stuff. Registration is efficient, parking isn’t terrible in that area. I’m excited to try more classes even though I live about 30 minutes away from here.

Morgan Bentley: I love community fitness! Dance club on Mondays and Wednesdays is by far my favorite class! Its difficult to make it to other classes as there are no early morning classes so the odd schedule has prevented me from applying for the monthly membership. Buying the class packages is the next best option.

Claire Nelson: I love community fitness. The instructors are great, and I try to get to as many classes I can. That being said, it's tough when you work a 9-5. I feel like a lot of the classes are during the work day which really limits the types of classes I can do. There are a ton of dance classes after work, but I prefer the weight lifting/barre/Pilates classes. I would also love to go to classes in the morning before starting my workday too, but unfortunately the earliest class as of lately is at 8:30am.

A couple personal faves: Susan Slater's signature style of fun, high energy and daily celebrations. Kat Dowrey's dance classes are filled with butt-shaking moves and laughter. A member nearly 10 years, I love the variety of offerings. My father joined me until his final months at age 94, shaking his butt with the rest of us. He was madly in love with Susan who treated him like the rock star he is. Come join the fun!

As long as you're using all of the benefits, the cost is *well* worth it.Nothing but great things to say about Rival. The gym has a great vibe, the staff is great, and I feel like I'm actually making strides on my fitness goals now.

The energy in this place is always great. I tried all the other gyms in the area before coming to Rival and they really do not compare. It was a a no brainer the moment I walked in.

Kareem Ali: I started at Rival fitness with the strength squad which helped me learn lifting with good technique, introduced me to friendly people, and helped me go through some rough times since that was right after I moved to Seattle when things were under COVID restrictions, so the place means a lot to me personally. That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times.It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Throughout the year there are fun challenges to help members with self-motivation, but each one is tied to a local charity. Finally, you can get 2 trial classes for just $15! Heather Davis: , lift weights, and run on the treadmill. I also wanted the equipment to be highly available so I didn’t need to wait around, and the whole place to be clean and well maintained. There’s a lot of care and attention Seattle Athletic Club puts into having a clean, comfortable location. It’s always well staffed, there’s always parking, and they communicate with members about upcoming changes. They take care of the big things and the small things like hairdryers, cotton swabs, machines to wring out your swimsuit and bags, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers, plenty of lockers with locks, large and small towels, and special social events. It’s a great place to work out - maybe even on those days you don’t quite feel like it.

Robert Hobbs: I had a less than favorable first impression of the club and was prepared to give up and join the nearby gym. Lena, however, had other ideas! My interest in this facility was piqued by her friendly greeting; the abundance of lessons offered and the cutting-edge equipment sealed my choice to join. Edward: It would be remiss to not compliment this gym. I was able to experience this gym thru the day pass and it immediately got me sold to the gym’s amenities. As you can see from my photos, it is a jack of all trades kind of gym. It would try to satisfy all your curiosity depending on the type of workout you feel like doing.Not only that; my experience with staff was amazing. Liz gave me a tour of the place and even accommodated my needs in regard to making sure I was aware I can come in throughout the whole day even when I leave and decide come back.It has my needs in terms of strength training. They have 45s, 35s, 25s 15s, 10s, all the way to 1.25lbs.I was able to fine tune my workout for the day.I have high praises for this gym. If I lived in Seattle and work downtown, I would be a member in this gym in a heartbeat.Notice that it isn’t busy as well? This was on a Saturday.

Dana Cretu: UPDATE: I've seen the company take great strides in the light of recent events and commend their forward thinking to keep everyone safe and healthy. They were amongst the first of many companies to offer creative solutions to protecting the continued health and safety of their clients and staff, offering live remote classes at home, keeping us informed via email, and detailing what steps they were taking to deep clean and sterilize the facility. They've shown that they are proactive rather than reactive, and I wanted to give my thanks.Previous-For location and convenience, zum currently works for us. The people here are friendly, staff and gym goers alike, but there have been too many upkeep issues lately that have really gotten to my partner and I. Namely, the cleanliness of the facility in whole, the poor quality of the towels, the state of the products in the locker room, and other minor things. They have replaced a few machines and added a cold towel mini fridge, but these don't make up for what needs to be changed and upkept - especially the mats and towels. It's also uncommonly warm in this gym, winter and summer alike.

Dylan Rush: Great gym for the variety of equipment and free classes. They have monkey bars, rowing machines, climbing and warrior ropes in addition to all the equipment one would normally expect. Not too difficult to get a squat rack or bench press even at peak hours. My one complaint is that I never attended the classes, and the classes were right next to the cardio equipment and pretty loud and would always happen right around 5/6 pm. But sometimes trainers would play good music so whatever. Locker rooms were pretty clean. Decent sauna. Overall good value.

Markus Eng: A great gym for those who value the diversity of fitness and training methods. Yoga, martial arts, boxing and Pilates are some of the many practices here.

Julia Hlavacik: I hate the gym, but I love this gym. The owners care about their gym-goers and will learn your name before your free week is over. They learn what works for you and what doesn’t and help you modify. This isn’t a gym with a lot of frills, but they do have some frills that count like a clean locker room and free-to-use mats in the yoga studio. I didn’t like that I had to commit to a certain amount of time when I signed up because my job comes with some chance of relocation, but they have a reasonable cancellation policy if you move more than 50 miles away. It didn’t end up mattering because of my job and I have not wanted to cancel for any other reason either. I’ll be coming back as long as I live in Seattle. Alex Maloney: Great coaches and workouts! You never know what the workout is for the day so it kept me from backing out and skipping any days. Ro is only coach I worked with, but he’s fantastic at ensuring proper technique, keeping you motivated throughout the entire workout and making your legs jello. I had 2 shoulder surgeries so modifications and progression of my strength was my main concern when starting at this gym. It only took a MONTH for us working at it for me to get 25lbs over my head for the first time in 2 years. If you put in the work, you will see results!

Girish Shekhar: during this period. The coaches are great, they are friendly and they keep you motivated through the class. Despite being in a group class the coaches monitor your form and correct you in case you go wrong. I've been making progress with my fitness goals feel more healthier after I've joined them.SSP is not just a gym, its a community. Highly recommended if you're looking for a gym.Covid update : They make sure to keep masks on during workout. Enough space between stations and you get your own equipment during the workout. Sanitization available at each station. Outdoor workouts if you aren't comfortable inside as well as virtual. They have adapted to the situation very well to keep you safe and fit.

Levi West (W&BM): Went and tried a 3 day pass and did a yoga class. Ended up really liking the yoga class and the staff and trainers I met we're all welcoming and same with the members that I worked out with.

Noah Taylor: Fremont Health Club is a phenomenal gym. I previously went to the LA fitness in Ballard however it was always over crowded and chaotic. FHC has a much better workout environment and never feels too crowded. They recently added some premium equipment making this already great gym even better. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Greg Mushen: I love this place. I’ve been a member of other gyms in the neighborhood, and this place is my favorite. There’s a great selection of equipment, a sauna, and there’s rarely a wait for any of the equipment.

Despite its popularity, it never feels crowded or overwhelming, thanks to the abundance of available machines and workout space.What truly sets this gym apart, however, is its people. The instructors are incredibly kind and always eager to provide individualized support. Their encouragement and guidance have made a world of difference in my fitness journey. Furthermore, the owner's generosity with membership policies is genuinely commendable and has made it possible for my entire family to enjoy the benefits of this amazing facility. I can't recommend this gym highly enough — I don’t ever write reviews, but it's truly a five-star establishment.

Yi Chiang: Great location and amenities! I had a great time as a member of this gym; often taking advantage of the salt water pool and indoor basketball court.The equipment here has definitely seen better days and I eventually transitioned to another gym since that was more important in my book.The crowd here definitely caters more towards the older crowd, which was not ideal for me. However, If you’re looking for a place with many amenities and a great staff, look no further… I couldn’t recommend this place and its staff anymore if lifting isn’t your top priority.

Bradley Patton: For the past few months, I've been a member of this gym, and I can't rave about it enough! With its wide variety of amenities, this gym really distinguishes out from the competition, which is why I joined with no hesitation. There are a few interesting things about this place, including the fact that it's never crowded and the personnel, especially Lucky. My recommendation of this gym to friends has been aided by their encouragement.

The pool is outdated and short in length [20 yards] but it is the only one available in this area so i appreciate it. Staff so far has been nice.
