NW Fitness Project: what do users think?

חוה כץ: I started working out at NW about a year ago and I love it. It’s a welcoming place, you can tell they love what they do and they are experts at what they do. There’s a strong community feeling a lot of care for the progression of each person training. Cannot recommend it enough.

Paul Shen: Outstanding gym! We visited while on vacation in Seattle and we will definitely come again on our next trip!Accessibility: Easily accessible, their scheduling app makes picking a workout, time, and payment very easy. It took me less than 5 minutes, very impressed for a non-corporate gym. They had so many class options and times available I had no excuse not to workout. The facility is located on a corner and you can’t miss it, well lit and with lots of lockers and storage areas plus showers if you need them.Workout: Our regular gym is a strength and CrossFit gym and we fit right in. The Strength and Muscle classes we attended met the same needs we work regularly. Kyle is an awesome coach and spent the whole hour moving between all the attendees and assisting with form and modifications to meet each persons needs. The scalability of each exercise meant my wife and I each got a strenuous and worth while workout. They used a huge variety of strength options including kettlebells, TRX, dumbbells, barbells, and calisthenics+plyometrics. Awesome workout.Staff: As stated above, expertly friendly and helpful. From our first time popping in to inquire about drop in availability, to our last class they were a real high light of the experience. Extraordinarily friendly and approachable. They helped us pick out the best options for our schedule and get set up quickly with no hassle.Facility: Modern equipment that is well maintained. Clean, and well laid out. They had equipment I hadn’t seen at larger gyms including weight scaling options that you really have to look for if you want them, such as clip on weights for intermediate settings.

Sarah Prentice: This is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. There’s a variety of exercises built into each group training class, so you’ll never be bored or without a challenge. The trainers provide a perfect balance of encouraging you to do what feels right for your body, but also pushing yourself to discover what you’re capable of. I highly encourage anyone who wants to invest in their long term health and quality of life to check this place out!

Claudette S: Quality and character. Good people. Smart. Inspiring. Thank you.

greg bear: , kinetic exercise / body-weight exercise, banded stuff like you'd do in PT, etc. There's new movements added all the time, keeping it very fresh. It's light on traditional cardio - which is great - strength training is much harder to do on your own I think w/o a good coach watching. There are personal trainers available also, but I've really enjoyed the small group training. Classes are kept small, never more than 10 people, so are getting technique adjustments and personal attention, help with weight selections, mods if needed. I'm always sore, but recoveries are quick - they don't let me overdo it - and also don't let me underdo it

Kacie Stovall: I have been attending the 8x/month small group training classes since 2021. The work outs are so thoughtfully curated and the small class sizes ensure the trainer is able to assist each individual, no matter their skill level. I usually attend Kyle's classes and the high level of expertise is obvious. He knows exactly why one exercise is paired with another and the benefit of each small variation in movement. Even the warm ups and cool downs change daily to match the movements performed. More than that, they care about your safety and your progress. Both Matt and Kyle, regardless of who is leading the class, will often assist me with correcting my form or choosing an appropriate weight that challenges me. I would recommend this gym for absolutely anyone!

stephanie Irwin: As a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the Seattle area, the trainers at NWFP are among the most talented and intelligent fitness coaches I have met. They are in constant pursuit of furthering their knowledge to help clients achieve their goals while avoiding injury. I trust them whole heartedly. I recommend my patients and anyone looking for an incredible community and expert training to go to Northwest Fitness Project!

Evan Wight: NWFP is an amazing gym. It really fosters community. The trainers really care and use creative problem solving to maximize your fitness goals. Im a double amputee and I've never been made to feel like I was incapable of anything in the gym. The owners Kyle and Matt have created the BEST gym in Seattle. Go try out a class, you wont be disappointed.

J: Their water fountain pressure is fantastic!

Jeana Ridley: Such a welcoming personal training gym for all types. I started my lifting “career” here in 2018 and have nothing but love for this place. In terms of expertise, Dylan Brown is an exceptional trainer at this gym. I’m incredibly grateful for his work on solving my chronic knee pain that 5 years, 3 physical therapists, and 2 other personal trainers could not!A small thing that could make this facility even better is allowing trainers to reserve squat racks for their client sessions. I hired Dylan specifically to work on squats and there were a couple times the gym was so busy we couldn’t get a rack.

Michael Knapinski: Great team if you want to live your life to the fullest, call them now!

Andrea Arntsen-Harris: , which leads to less injury and better mobility/results in your training. The community of educated, conscientious trainers pay special attention to every student, tailoring guidance to each of us. Their facilities are top notch. NWFP is a great community of people — I cannot recommend it enough, no matter your fitness goals!!

Eric Candell: A clean gym with passionate trainers and lots of quality equipment. The owners seem very committed to a clean environment and an evolving set of cutting edge gear. I continue to be impressed with how much care this place puts into creating a community around fitness and health.

Adam Stalker: Can’t say enough good things about this place. After trying CrossFit and gyms with a lot of young, already fit, people, I had kinda sworn off gyms. But this place is different. The culture is amazing. Everyone is supportive and helps you match toward your goals without making you feel like you’re coming up short or not ready for their service. The people are just fantastic and I’ll be a client for a long time. Affordable with a lot of class and coaching options.

Flow Fitness: what do users think?

Flow Fitness

Matthew James Briggs:

James Sebastian: Great place to work out.

Karen Jurgensen: Staff is wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. Great facilities and classes.

Chanomi Maxwell-Parish: . They also have free parking in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. All in all, a Seattle miracle!!

Eric Wolak: This facility is conveniently located and has a wide range of free weights, machines, and classes. They even have a body analyzer that was incredibly informative. The staff is so nice and helpful. I highly recommend!

Payton Renner: This is the best gym in Seattle HANDS DOWN. Best equipment, best locker rooms, best staff! I always feel so welcome here.

Kylie L: I have enjoyed the classes here. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable in proving advices to questions or concerns I have relating to the exercises I attend during their classes. They even provide me suggestions on how to prevent them. They also take effort to remember names of those who attend their classes.

Rival Fitness: what do users think?

Haily Holt: , classes 2x per week, and occasionally going in on active rest days for light cardio. As long as you're using all of the benefits, the cost is *well* worth it.Nothing but great things to say about Rival. The gym has a great vibe, the staff is great, and I feel like I'm actually making strides on my fitness goals now.

Christopher Kaczmarek: Fancy but pricey but clean

Braden Nix: Nothing but good things to say about Rival. The staff is wonderful, trainers are knowledgeable and authentic, the facility is always clean, and it’s rarely “too” busy like most gyms can be.Overall, this is the most welcoming gym I have ever been to. The energy in this place is always great. I tried all the other gyms in the area before coming to Rival and they really do not compare. It was a a no brainer the moment I walked in.

Kareem Ali: I started at Rival fitness with the strength squad which helped me learn lifting with good technique, introduced me to friendly people, and helped me go through some rough times since that was right after I moved to Seattle when things were under COVID restrictions, so the place means a lot to me personally. That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times. It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Kyle Good: Sweet a gym that's like not even 5 blocks from my house.

Fremont Health Club: what do users think?

Levi West (W&BM): Went and tried a 3 day pass and did a yoga class. Ended up really liking the yoga class and the staff and trainers I met we're all welcoming and same with the members that I worked out with.

Noah Taylor: Fremont Health Club is a phenomenal gym. I previously went to the LA fitness in Ballard however it was always over crowded and chaotic. FHC has a much better workout environment and never feels too crowded. They recently added some premium equipment making this already great gym even better. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Greg Mushen: I love this place. I’ve been a member of other gyms in the neighborhood, and this place is my favorite. There’s a great selection of equipment, a sauna, and there’s rarely a wait for any of the equipment.

Daniel Yzaguirre-Vidaurri: Great gym with awesome views.

Ian Slater: Great gym with classes, a sled, and infrared sauna! Wonderful owner/operator that cares about her clients.

Liam Blodgett (L Blo): I only talked with staff and toured this gym. I ended up going in a different direction, but only because I practice hardstyle kettlebells and have very specific equipment requirements, which FHC did not meet.Overall this seemed like a great facility for the average gym-goer: welcoming to all types, conveniently located, with well priced and flexible membership options. Taylor at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind over the phone and in person. Star employee.

Anton Shenk: My experience with this gym has been nothing short of fantastic — the facility is meticulously well-kept and stocked with any equipment you’d need for both cardio and strength training. Despite its popularity, it never feels crowded or overwhelming, thanks to the abundance of available machines and workout space. What truly sets this gym apart, however, is its people. The instructors are incredibly kind and always eager to provide individualized support. Their encouragement and guidance have made a world of difference in my fitness journey. Furthermore, the owner's generosity with membership policies is genuinely commendable and has made it possible for my entire family to enjoy the benefits of this amazing facility. I can't recommend this gym highly enough — I don’t ever write reviews, but it's truly a five-star establishment.

Soph: Great local business the owners are wonderful! Even though it's not huge it has everything you need and more, and the sauna is wonderful. I have been going here on and off for some time and they always are so welcoming. Very clean and great bang for your buck. 👍

Alex: Great club, awesome owner. Highly recommend!

Sonny J: Great place to workout. Owner and staff very nice and friendly

Chris Tachibana: If you're in Seattle for a short stay, this gym is a great option. Lots of short-term payment options, friendly and helpful owner and staff, and a terrific health club, all around.

Gen: I love the Fremont Health Club. They have everything you need to do a great workout and I never have issues with it being too crowded. I love that it's so clean and nice and the price for the membership is excellent. I also have had a really great experience whenever I need help from the staff.

R Shin: Been with this gym since I first moved here. It has most if not all the equipment you will need to do all your workouts, plus they have classes you can take which are included in your membership.Management is fantastic and the people here are also great. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a well managed, clean gym with absolutely what you need to stay in shape.

conner nielander: Truly the best gym for the best price. Its never too crowded which helps me focus, always open, the air inside is fresh, has a beautiful view of lake union and downtown, constantly adding new machines and tools, the people are so friendly and the owner is so nice! So worth it!

FUELhouse: what do users think?

Lou Ernst: Nothing but positives to say about the entire Fuelhouse Family — coaches and members. Incredibly welcoming and nonjudgmental. They offer a full range of services from one on one training to group classes. Challenging but approachable at the same time.

B Michelle Johnson: I love this gym! It was recommended to me by a friend. My usual routine was disrupted during the pandemic and as I have aged, I need to focus on weight training. They have awesome classes and fabulous trainers. They'll push you but they're also keen on good form and adjustments so that you can get your best workout within your limitations. I feel stronger than I have in years and everyone is genuinely nice. Love it here.

Alexey Rybak: I've been looking for a gym with a strong community for years, and Fuelhouse is exactly what I needed! The coaches and the community are fantastic.

jane kelly: Best gym in seattle and woman owned/operated!

Julie Churchill: Loved that Fuelhouse Gym made this Midwest gal feel welcome for a drop in class this morning! Owner Molly and coach Haley were all awesome, and all the members there were so great! Highly recommend!

Casey Brown: I've been a member of Fuelhouse since it opened and have been consistently impressed with how the gym has grown and continues to evolve into a very special business and community. Molly and her staff are committed to the overall health of their members. The physical health is, of course, important. The workouts are always fun, even when they are challenging and I've never regretted anytime I've spent there. Fuelhouse has become a home away from home and I've met some incredible people since joining who have changed my life for the better.Through the pandemic, Fuelhouse provided a means for the community to stay together and stay strong through hardship. They were also incredibly supportive when I needed to take some time off due to surgery and were an essential part of my recovery. All these and more are why I am proud to be a member of this gym. Come check us out!

Jen O2: I became a member of Fuelhouse this past September After a year of PT for a back injury. I’ve been able to rebuild my strength thanks to the training and encouragement of Jeff Sokol and Molly Kieland. It’s such a great community at Fuelhouse.

Jenn Seva: Caring, intelligent, genuine, creative coaches who attract caring, intelligent, genuine, creative people. FuelHouse is so much more than lifting heavy metal in a building with a cool mural: it is yoga, it is mental health, it is community, it is family, is my Third Place that supports and greatly enhances how I show up in this world. I am so glad I started there in January 2019 and look forward to an even longer future relationship. My physical fitness is in a much better place, as well as my emotional and mental health. Holistic gains at FuelHouse. Also, funny AF. So much good humor there.

Maria McDonald: Fuelhouse is so much more than a gym. It's a place to get strong, be supported, build friendships, celebrate life, be in community, challenge yourself, deepen your wellness knowledge base, change your habits, shift your mindsets, and learn from the most educated and inspiring coaches in the business. It is a one-of-a-kind fitness experience that might just change your life. We are truly stronger together, and Fuelhouse creates the environment where strength, in all aspects of life, thrives.

Mary Souder: I don't live in Seattle but while I was here visiting I went to a couple of classes led by Brian who was very helpful and encouraging, as were the other members. It can be intimidating to go to new gyms and this place is very warm and welcoming.

Annie Fitzgerald: FUELhouse is hands down the best gym I've attended in Seattle in the past 30+ yrs. FUELhouse has numerous trainers and all are highly skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and laid back while focusing on safety. The gym's owners, trainers and clients are welcoming and non-competitive and still focus on making one's personal goals reality. Highly recommend checking out FUELhouse if you want to get in shape, have fun, and feel good about yourself.

Lexi Brecht: and both coaches + members really make you feel welcomed and a part of a close-knit community day one. Very happy I found this gym — highly recommend :

Michael Kirkman: I attended a Strong First 101 kettlebell training class and I learned hands on high quality training techniques! This is a top notch gym for anyone looking to get strong the right way and build a body that will withstand the stresses of life and set you apart. The Training I attended was great and Annalisa, Jeff and Molly were all great instructors that really had high quality instruction that touched every aspect. I'm looking forward to attending in October!!

Luke Constantinides: I first trained with Coah Sokol three years ago when I was making a pit stop in Seattle to visit family for the holidays. This past week, I was able to train with him again, and remembered why I keep coming back. Coach Sokol and the FuelHouse team have rigorous classes, but the way they train and coach is detailed and helpful for those that have minor or major experience with kettlebells. Someone like me with intermediate knowledge on kettlebell techniques am always learning something new in these classes, and ways I can properly use kettlebells without hurting myself. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the PNW. Thanks again coach for the consideration!

Kristen Cramer: Just an update to say that I still LOVE Fuelhouse Gym!I I participated in the Tactical Strength Challenge special training classes and exceeded all of my goals and PR'ed in all events. The coaches kept me motivated, and encouraged me even when I thought I couldn't do it. I love that you can show up to any and all classes , and do your best, for that day, and it can be different day to day. In the same class one person might only be doing body weight and another massive weight, and there is no judgement or comparison. Show up as you are and do your best! UPdate 12/30/2021I have been a member since day 1 and feel so supported. No matter how my body feels and what injuries I may be nursing, the coaches offer great modifications and advice.I can't imagine that there is another gym in the world that could have stepped up like FH and its coaches have during this "Stay at Home" period. I have had 0 excuse for not continuing my workouts. The coaches have really shown up with learning new technologies and offering so many modifications for all abilities and access to equipment. I sometimes even talk back to the recorded video when I am working out, that is how real they are! AND in the midst of all of this, the physical gym had to be moved and the new one built out! I am in AWE of Molly and her team of awesome coaches. Thank you for showing up, even when I don't....

Seattle Strength & Performance: what do users think?

Alex Maloney: Great coaches and workouts! You never know what the workout is for the day so it kept me from backing out and skipping any days. Ro is only coach I worked with, but he’s fantastic at ensuring proper technique, keeping you motivated throughout the entire workout and making your legs jello. I had 2 shoulder surgeries so modifications and progression of my strength was my main concern when starting at this gym. It only took a MONTH for us working at it for me to get 25lbs over my head for the first time in 2 years. If you put in the work, you will see results!

Girish Shekhar: during this period. The coaches are great, they are friendly and they keep you motivated through the class. Despite being in a group class the coaches monitor your form and correct you in case you go wrong. I've been making progress with my fitness goals feel more healthier after I've joined them.SSP is not just a gym, its a community. Highly recommended if you're looking for a gym.Covid update : They make sure to keep masks on during workout. Enough space between stations and you get your own equipment during the workout. Sanitization available at each station. Outdoor workouts if you aren't comfortable inside as well as virtual. They have adapted to the situation very well to keep you safe and fit.

Richard Bajnoczy: I just like walking buy and checking out the hot guys

Kayza Robertson: Positive:QualityRoland is an awesome personal trainer. Very knowledgeable, motivating, caring and respectful. I look forward to coming to the gym just to work with him; I’ve learned so much in the few training sessions I’ve had here. Appreciate you guys, thank you so much! Keep on putting the greatness out that you do!

Robert Hall: All admissions and coaches are great and friendly! The stadium is really good, the equipment is super clean and beautiful. And I'm glad I found it.

Kyle Martinez: Great place the trainers really make you feel like you're part of the team

Brian Lee: These guys rock it in DT Seattle. Classes that will kick your @#$!

Seattle Athletic Club: what do users think?

Yi Chiang: Great location and amenities! I had a great time as a member of this gym; often taking advantage of the salt water pool and indoor basketball court. The equipment here has definitely seen better days and I eventually transitioned to another gym since that was more important in my book. The crowd here definitely caters more towards the older crowd, which was not ideal for me. However, If you’re looking for a place with many amenities and a great staff, look no further… I couldn’t recommend this place and its staff anymore if lifting isn’t your top priority.

Bradley Patton: For the past few months, I've been a member of this gym, and I can't rave about it enough! With its wide variety of amenities, this gym really distinguishes out from the competition, which is why I joined with no hesitation. There are a few interesting things about this place, including the fact that it's never crowded and the personnel, especially Lucky. My recommendation of this gym to friends has been aided by their encouragement.

Michael Schimke: My renewed enthusiasm in working out can be attributed to my new employment. A SAC membership is a health benefit provided by my employer. I just finished my first week of exercise, and while I'm a little sore, it's in a nice manner. I adore everything I'm learning from the incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming personnel here.

Terry Jung: it's been 1 week, so far it's ok. Ofc it could always be better with better furniture, better lockers, better atmosphere, better whatever but it does the job, it has a ton of various cardio equipment, lots of weights, various classes and can't beat the location. I do think the enrollment fee is a scam especially given how outdated this place is but i didn't have a choice. The pool is outdated and short in length [20 yards] but it is the only one available in this area so i appreciate it. Staff so far has been nice.

Linwood Zimmer: My unforgettable encounter with delectable muffins enhanced the sweetness of my journey to Dallas! I kept going back for more because of their alluring flavors and melt-in-your-mouth textures, which were a pleasant surprise. I gladly brought 12 irreplaceable treasures home because it appeared like everyone in this wonderful city couldn't get enough, making my time in Texas very memorable.

Almeda Carter: . The gym offers almost any type of training you can imagine, such as swimming, martial arts, weightlifting, squash, basketball, and the list goes on. Parking can be free, depending on the time. a first-rate spa and a friendly staff. No issues. This place is fantastic. I wholeheartedly urge everyone to join Seattle Athletic Club!

Archie Davies: We have more than just a gym as SAC downtown members; it has genuinely become our home away from home. This local gym is perfect for any fitness fanatic because it has pleasant staff and no loud music to keep us from exercising. Additionally, they truly make sure you get your money's worth with a ton of free seminars and private sessions accessible at an additional cost. There are undoubtedly many reasons why joining the SAC is so highly recommended, and we consider it an honor to be a member of such an exceptional group.   I highly  recommend  Seattle Athletic Club to everyone!

Freddie Fox: Through the Seattle Athletic Club's cutting-edge online lessons, I was able to continue my training regimen during lockdown and preserve both my physical and mental well-being. Their capacity for quick adaptability and commitment to provide a wide range of options amply demonstrated their value. To anyone trying to stay active and healthy, I highly recommend this group.

Kiara Saunders: I've gone when graduation day comes around once more without fail.  I definitely recommend  Seattle Athletic Club to everyone!

Jamie Whitaker: Explore your family's full potential by taking advantage of the limitless options at SAC! Everyone in your family will be inspired and motivated along the way with a wide range of classes, programs, and events catered to your special objectives and aspirations. Downtown Seattle Athletic Club is where  highly recommended - don't miss out on this game-changing experience!

Loft Fitness: what do users think?

David DuBose: Great gym with great people. Very inclusive and welcoming to everyone!!

Logan Drummond: I just wanted to let folks know that Loft Fitness is a fantastic gym with really knowledgeable and caring coaches. I typically don't enjoy gyms very much, but Loft made me feel very welcome and cared for from the very beginning. Tours are totally pressure free for signing up, which I appreciated so much, and there is an awesome social dynamic to the gym where they have special events throughout the year. I can't recommend this gym enough to folks who are also neurodivergent or anxious about being at the gym as well. Give them a try! I promise you won't regret it.

Ethan Brentlinger: The variety of classes offered and 2

Steven Foiles: The programming and coaches are great. I genuinely enjoy going in and it’s so easy to go often because they have so many daily classes. I highly recommend joining Loft or dropping in.

Paige Pon: if not done right but I feel like Loft Fitness sets the bar

Mica Bailey: Happy I found this place! Great place to get your sweat on. Knowledgeable coaches, great programming, nice equipment, fun crowd, clean space.

Julie Myers: I just joined and have had a wonderful experience during my first three sessions. It’s a women owned business that feels inclusive in so many ways. From body positivity to health at every age to safety and injury-free before all else. I’m excited to join their nutrition coaching group and attend their community events. If you’re looking for a challenging work out where you feel inspired not pushed to be the healthiest version of yourself with a built-in sense of community, then this is your place!

Aaron Vw: Welcoming atmosphere, terrific coaches and members!

Neil Jones: I love my experience here. The staff is knowledgeable and the trainers are helpful

Mark Sexauer: I'm in my 40's. I have always struggled with staying in shape. Mostly because I could not, no matter what I did, self motivate at the gym. I just never worked out hard enough to get any results. I remember one day spending over an hour looking up exercises on my phone at the gym. The Crossfit Loft is a group setting and has been the only thing that has worked for me. I haven't felt this good overall since my early 20's. The instructors and class structure are what you pay for and for me and my personal experience it's worth it. You get out what you put in so it still takes getting there and putting in the work but I couldn't be more happy with my commitment to the Loft.

Laurie Gribschaw: in my performance and I attribute it to the programming, supportive environment, and diverse class offerings

Kevin Guidry: I’ve been at Loft for 7 years. It’s better than other gyms I’ve been to because of the experienced coaches and the community.

Kelly Robertson: I love starting my day at LOFT. The coaches are engaged and welcoming, no matter your fitness or experience. The atmosphere is friendly and there's plenty of space and equipment for everyone. You'll definitely get a great workout here!

Frank Garcia: I’ve been a happy member at Loft for years now. It’s a very inclusive and thoughtful gym. All the coaches and members are equally rad as well, I really couldn’t be happier with my gym.

Michael Ziwisky: I'd been doing CrossFit for about 4 years before I moved to West Seattle and joined Loft. In the ~5 months since I joined, I've hit new PRs on several lifts that I'd been stalled on for months or years. I attribute that personal growth to the excellent staff of attentive, knowledgable coaches who are always emphasizing proper form. Special shout out to Lincoln Brigham who teaches an Olympic Lifting class that's turned Wednesday into my favorite day of the week!In addition to the awesome coaches, the community is super positive, supportive, and fun, and I've met some great friends there to hang out with even outside of the gym.

George Ghali: Fantastic gym, I truly enjoy working out here. The instructors are sincere, professional, and genuinely care about your progress and holistic health and well being. Culture is competitive, but inclusive. The people here are always encouraging, and inspire me to keep coming in for workouts.

Kelli Thomas: I love this gym. The coaches are the absolute best; the members are great; the location, space, programming and equipment are so good. It's one of my favorite places to be.

Rain City Fit: what do users think?

Madeline Goss: I love this gym, it’s got a fun personality and all the equipment you could need. I’ve personally had great interactions with staff and find the interesting layout charming and fun.Plus super sick merch.

Paul Lee: Good selection of equipment with welcoming staff and environment. Has something for everyone

Tyler Mead: This place pops. Constantly expanding, lots of great equipment and tons of friendly people. Even when it's completely slammed and the racks are all taken, I can generally find something to work out my focus group.

Emily Louden: Rain City Fit is truly the “third space” in my life. Outside of work and my house, I spend most of my time here. The people are welcoming and I have met some of my closest friends here. I’ve never been worried about messing up an exercise, needing a spot, or not knowing how to use a machine. The owners are welcoming and considerate. The gym is not just inclusive of queer people, it’s made up of some of the most loving queer individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Also, it’s dog friendly! What’s not to love?

parker midnight: This gym is the new role model for all gyms to follow. Diversity in humans and equipment, body positivity, thoughtfulness in every corner of this business. The owners are incredible people, who have cultivated a tender yet strong community. It’s clean, well equipped, and welcoming. So glad to continue my journey here!

Maria Poenaru: This gym makes working out so much fun! Everyone is so kind and respectful, it's just good vibes! I really wish everyone who doesn't feel comfy in tradition gyms could experience Rain City Fit! They've cultivated such a warm and welcoming environment, regardless of skill level, size, gender etc. It feels like family here ❣️

Tim Toy: Rain City Fit is my favorite gym in Seattle by far! The staff and members are lovely, the space is expansive with all the machines and equipment a lifter would need! The gym community is focused on inclusivity for everyone ✌️

Nina Gerber: Love this gym so much! Such a welcoming staff and community, a reasonable price, and 24 hour access. What more could you ask for?

PRO Club - Seattle: what do users think?

David De Maria: I have been going to Pro Club for several months now. I typically go in the morning around 9am. The gym is quiet… Not a lot of people. But, enough to make you feel not alone. I definitely get my choice of what machines I want without having to wait. The gym is super clean. The staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are great too. Very clean and organized. There is a wet and dry sauna along with a jacuzzi. showers too. Parking is easy and they validate. So far so good…. I recommend!

Lindsey Warner: Very clean, never crowded, great sauna

Steven Christensen: Great gym, clean facility friendly staff, lots of room and open machines.

Monique Spivey: The staff was very helpful and friendly they help you get your life and body right

Monique Seifert: Awesome community, the coaches are knowledgeable and most importantly the workouts are killer!

Yun Ling: Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! My favorite part was that there are so many cable machines that I almost never had to wait for a cable machine even during the busiest hours. Dumbbells in increment of 2.5 lbs are nice too. There are multiple power racks and 8 squat racks. Wish they would put in a few platforms for squatting and deadlifting as the floor has some give. Also wish the bench press setup would be more updated. Overall I had a great experience and really enjoyed lifting here!

Green Lake Strength & Conditioning: what do users think?

Carly Chan: New joiners spend 2 weeks in small classes to learn the basics, then you'll have 3 buddies to go to regular classes with. Coaches & staff are supportive, classmates are friendly, and you are given space & time to focus what you want to achieve.I always struggle with body coordination & physical movement, and all coaches have been extremely patient in guiding me to avoid injury. So don't worried if you're new to exercise - this is a place that will help you get stronger!Thank you Nate, Kate, Shilo, Hannah, Zeyab, Mikaela, Tracy, Antonio, Jonathan, Patti, and Olivia for all your help & coaching!

Rachel Moorhead: This gym is the best health investment I’ve ever made. Living in the neighborhood, I’d waffled for months over joining—it’s pricier than some other gyms but you get SO MUCH. I do the individualized design program, where I get a 1:1 coach to start, then very small group sessions overseen by a coach as we do our customized strength workouts. It’s like getting private training 3-4 times a week, plus membership includes all the group classes they have running daily.I have some old injuries and the coaches have kept me safe while helping me get much stronger. And the people are the best part! You see the same faces and the community and friendships are awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Cindy Liou: GLSC is a wonderful place with very supportive, helpful, and friendly staff. The staff make sure that you learn the right form and technique in an encouraging way that meets you where you are at. It has a great community that has not only helped fix my hip pain, but also for the first time in my life consistently gotten me into the gym several days a week. Even on my rough days, there is a genuine sense of "glad to see you, way to make some time for yourself." The space is clean and bright, and inviting to workout in. I highly recommend GLSC!

Katie Cannell: GLSC is a great place! It's incredibly inclusive and the coaches are awesome. As someone who has never really lifted weights before, I've learned so much about proper form and technique. The coaches take the time to explain movements and gently correct you.Highly recommend for anyone interested in strength & conditioning, at any level.

Matthew Hoover: , so I can always find something that fits my schedule. The coaches are also really friendly and supportive, which makes the workouts intense and enjoyable.

haoxiang hua: Joint individualized design, small group class up to 6 people in Nov, 2023. It's a gym as well as like a community. The culture is very inclusive. I enjoy both training and socials.I especially want to recognize my assigned trainer, Zeyab. He is professional. He helps me to program my exercise for each class, which really helps me to build muscles. You can also tell him your goal and he'll adjust the exercise to meet it.

Derek Veldkamp: Joined in November of 2023 to get back in shape with my spouse. Really nice & thorough onboarding experience; classes really focus on technique, and are less focused on how fast you are compared to others.Patient, fun coaching staff, good variety of classes, times, and membership plans.

Zuzanna Coggins: Loved the variety and programming and amazing instructors! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym in the Seattle area!

Alex Guest: I joined GLSC about 6 months ago. After coming back from several knee injuries, I decided that I needed to for real incorporate strength and conditioning into my week instead of just saying I’d do it.I had never really lifted weights before and was nervous to try at first, but I like it now and it’s helped me feel stronger while running and mountain biking! The on-ramp classes were super helpful to learn the basics. The are tons of classes, classes are always different, coaches are intentional to teach everyone how to safely use equipment to do exercises, and provide 1:1 feedback to help you improve. Thanks, GLSC!

Daniel Pepper: My wife and I were gym refugees since our local Crossfit gym closed 2 years ago.At Green Lake S&C we found a new home.Skilled and friendly coachesVaried classes, with lots of availability throughout the day and week.Bright, open space.Clean, with two bathrooms plus a hand washing station.Friendly fellow gym attendees.

Alexa Albert: Been a member of this gym for over a decade! Owners are wonderful!!

Kristi Rendahl: So grateful to have found Green Lake Strength and Conditioning! It’s a welcoming and affirming community of folks who support each other wherever they’re at.

Bast: expensive yet worth it

Joseph Joo: that have been challenging, but fun to incorporate into workouts. The coaches are awesome. We get to know the coaches and they tailor classes

Chris Clark: I've been going here for ~8 months now and it's great. Workouts can be intense but there are members at all levels in the classes and the coaches provide quality guidance on how to scale up or scale down the workouts. I've also done some personal training which has been helpful to dial things in. Lastly, its a great community with lots of locals. Very low pressure with high reward.

Alita: I've been going to this gym for ~3 months & really enjoy it! I was a long-time member of Orange Theory & when I moved to Green Lake, I wanted to find a new gym that was first and foremost, convenient. I've never used the barbell & was a little intimidated at first, but I've gotten the swing of it. The best part of the gym is the vibe. It's very laid back & unpretentious. I'm not a fitness guru by any means, and there are people of all skills and experience levels enjoying classes. They allow dogs! I've even seen a baby in a stroller there once & it really made me smile. I don't plan to bring either with me but I looove how welcoming they are. It allows people to make time and space for exercise. It especially gives primary caregivers, who tend to be mothers, the chance to prioritize themselves. I respect the hell out of that kind of culture. My fiancee is going to join soon, too! The only thing to keep in mind is it's definitely more expensive than the average gym in the area, but for the walkability, structure & culture, it's worth it for me.

Lowell Bander: LOVE IT. The Individualized Design program is perfect for me! So amazing to have a program that's personal to me and have experienced coaches give me form tips every time I go in!These coaches are so solid! I go in the mornings, and Olivia, Laurel, and Chassi are amazing

Wendy Warren: After months and months of driving past GLSC and thinking "well I'm not really a strength and conditioning club person", curiosity got the better of me and I toured, promptly signed up, and haven't looked back. Nice people, a wide variety of coaches and members, a broad schedule, good programming, lots of encouragement, dogs, and a welcoming environment. Can't say enough good things about the place.

ZUM Fitness: what do users think?

David Lemphers: ZUM is amazing. The layout, equipment, staff and facilities are top notch. If you’re downtown and need a friendly, top notch gym you have to come here.

Edward: It would be remiss to not compliment this gym. I was able to experience this gym thru the day pass and it immediately got me sold to the gym’s amenities. As you can see from my photos, it is a jack of all trades kind of gym. It would try to satisfy all your curiosity depending on the type of workout you feel like doing. Not only that; my experience with staff was amazing. Liz gave me a tour of the place and even accommodated my needs in regard to making sure I was aware I can come in throughout the whole day even when I leave and decide come back.It has my needs in terms of strength training. They have 45s, 35s, 25s 15s, 10s, all the way to 1.25lbs.I was able to fine tune my workout for the day.I have high praises for this gym. If I lived in Seattle and work downtown, I would be a member in this gym in a heartbeat.Notice that it isn’t busy as well? This was on a Saturday.

john Bourdeau: Absolute wonderful gym I wish I was closer as I moved away but it’s hands-down, one of the best gyms in Seattle great trainers, and great clientele

andrew albers: Went to this local gym and is a really great option for anyone in the area or if you are traveling. They have a ton of different equipment including plenty of free weights and areas for squatting, deadlifting and bench.

Nia Kaye: Friendliest gym i have ever been to! Everyone from front desk to trainers made it feel like home. Tons of equipment too!

Benjamin Dee-Shapland: Great gym. I was a member from 2018-2019 and then joined again in 2023. The staff are welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The members are courteous and friendly. The gym has a good range of equipment and enough space to ensure everyone can get a good workout, whether they are using free weights, machines or doing classes. Highly recommended

Aaron Hahn: and incredible locker room facilities including towel service. Joe is the nicest dude you’ll meet, and working with Zach has changed my whole approach to fitness. It looks like it’s closed from the outside, but I assure you it’s anything but. A little later hours during the week would be nice, but apart from that this gym is - in my view - perfect. A total unicorn.

Jan Nis: Worked out here twice while I was in the city. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Equipment is clean and new. Gym itself wasn’t crowded which I liked very much. Will def. come here again next time. 1st time trial, 2nd time $30 for the day.

Tuyết Lan: //..//103322..22

Beth Malik: Positive:QualityIf you're looking for clean space, quality group class instruction, top-notch experienced trainers and a good non-gym vibe, this is your home. ZUM is the best fitness facility in Seattle, without question.

Dana Cretu: UPDATE: I've seen the company take great strides in the light of recent events and commend their forward thinking to keep everyone safe and healthy. They were amongst the first of many companies to offer creative solutions to protecting the continued health and safety of their clients and staff, offering live remote classes at home, keeping us informed via email, and detailing what steps they were taking to deep clean and sterilize the facility. They've shown that they are proactive rather than reactive, and I wanted to give my thanks.Previous-For location and convenience, zum currently works for us. The people here are friendly, staff and gym goers alike, but there have been too many upkeep issues lately that have really gotten to my partner and I. Namely, the cleanliness of the facility in whole, the poor quality of the towels, the state of the products in the locker room, and other minor things. They have replaced a few machines and added a cold towel mini fridge, but these don't make up for what needs to be changed and upkept - especially the mats and towels. It's also uncommonly warm in this gym, winter and summer alike.

Dylan Rush: Great gym for the variety of equipment and free classes. They have monkey bars, rowing machines, climbing and warrior ropes in addition to all the equipment one would normally expect. Not too difficult to get a squat rack or bench press even at peak hours. My one complaint is that I never attended the classes, and the classes were right next to the cardio equipment and pretty loud and would always happen right around 5/6 pm. But sometimes trainers would play good music so whatever. Locker rooms were pretty clean. Decent sauna. Overall good value.

Markus Eng: A great gym for those who value the diversity of fitness and training methods. Yoga, martial arts, boxing and Pilates are some of the many practices here.

Julia Hlavacik: I hate the gym, but I love this gym. The owners care about their gym-goers and will learn your name before your free week is over. They learn what works for you and what doesn’t and help you modify. This isn’t a gym with a lot of frills, but they do have some frills that count like a clean locker room and free-to-use mats in the yoga studio. I didn’t like that I had to commit to a certain amount of time when I signed up because my job comes with some chance of relocation, but they have a reasonable cancellation policy if you move more than 50 miles away. It didn’t end up mattering because of my job and I have not wanted to cancel for any other reason either. I’ll be coming back as long as I live in Seattle. Special thanks to Joe and Derek for all of their work with me!
