PRO Club - Seattle: what do users think?

David De Maria: I have been going to Pro Club for several months now. I typically go in the morning around 9am. The gym is quiet… Not a lot of people. But, enough to make you feel not alone. I definitely get my choice of what machines I want without having to wait. The gym is super clean. The staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are great too. Very clean and organized. There is a wet and dry sauna along with a jacuzzi. showers too. Parking is easy and they validate. So far so good…. I recommend!

Lindsey Warner: Very clean, never crowded, great sauna

Steven Christensen: Great gym, clean facility friendly staff, lots of room and open machines.

Monique Spivey: The staff was very helpful and friendly they help you get your life and body right

Monique Seifert: Awesome community, the coaches are knowledgeable and most importantly the workouts are killer!

Yun Ling: Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! My favorite part was that there are so many cable machines that I almost never had to wait for a cable machine even during the busiest hours. Dumbbells in increment of 2.5 lbs are nice too. There are multiple power racks and 8 squat racks. Wish they would put in a few platforms for squatting and deadlifting as the floor has some give. Also wish the bench press setup would be more updated. Overall I had a great experience and really enjoyed lifting here!

ZUM Fitness: what do users think?

David Lemphers: ZUM is amazing. The layout, equipment, staff and facilities are top notch. If you’re downtown and need a friendly, top notch gym you have to come here.

Edward: It would be remiss to not compliment this gym. I was able to experience this gym thru the day pass and it immediately got me sold to the gym’s amenities. As you can see from my photos, it is a jack of all trades kind of gym. It would try to satisfy all your curiosity depending on the type of workout you feel like doing. Not only that; my experience with staff was amazing. Liz gave me a tour of the place and even accommodated my needs in regard to making sure I was aware I can come in throughout the whole day even when I leave and decide come back.It has my needs in terms of strength training. They have 45s, 35s, 25s 15s, 10s, all the way to 1.25lbs.I was able to fine tune my workout for the day.I have high praises for this gym. If I lived in Seattle and work downtown, I would be a member in this gym in a heartbeat.Notice that it isn’t busy as well? This was on a Saturday.

john Bourdeau: Absolute wonderful gym I wish I was closer as I moved away but it’s hands-down, one of the best gyms in Seattle great trainers, and great clientele

andrew albers: Went to this local gym and is a really great option for anyone in the area or if you are traveling. They have a ton of different equipment including plenty of free weights and areas for squatting, deadlifting and bench.

Nia Kaye: Friendliest gym i have ever been to! Everyone from front desk to trainers made it feel like home. Tons of equipment too!

Benjamin Dee-Shapland: Great gym. I was a member from 2018-2019 and then joined again in 2023. The staff are welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The members are courteous and friendly. The gym has a good range of equipment and enough space to ensure everyone can get a good workout, whether they are using free weights, machines or doing classes. Highly recommended

Aaron Hahn: and incredible locker room facilities including towel service. Joe is the nicest dude you’ll meet, and working with Zach has changed my whole approach to fitness. It looks like it’s closed from the outside, but I assure you it’s anything but. A little later hours during the week would be nice, but apart from that this gym is - in my view - perfect. A total unicorn.

Jan Nis: Worked out here twice while I was in the city. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Equipment is clean and new. Gym itself wasn’t crowded which I liked very much. Will def. come here again next time. 1st time trial, 2nd time $30 for the day.

Tuyết Lan: //..//103322..22

Beth Malik: Positive:QualityIf you're looking for clean space, quality group class instruction, top-notch experienced trainers and a good non-gym vibe, this is your home. ZUM is the best fitness facility in Seattle, without question.

Dana Cretu: UPDATE: I've seen the company take great strides in the light of recent events and commend their forward thinking to keep everyone safe and healthy. They were amongst the first of many companies to offer creative solutions to protecting the continued health and safety of their clients and staff, offering live remote classes at home, keeping us informed via email, and detailing what steps they were taking to deep clean and sterilize the facility. They've shown that they are proactive rather than reactive, and I wanted to give my thanks.Previous-For location and convenience, zum currently works for us. The people here are friendly, staff and gym goers alike, but there have been too many upkeep issues lately that have really gotten to my partner and I. Namely, the cleanliness of the facility in whole, the poor quality of the towels, the state of the products in the locker room, and other minor things. They have replaced a few machines and added a cold towel mini fridge, but these don't make up for what needs to be changed and upkept - especially the mats and towels. It's also uncommonly warm in this gym, winter and summer alike.

Dylan Rush: Great gym for the variety of equipment and free classes. They have monkey bars, rowing machines, climbing and warrior ropes in addition to all the equipment one would normally expect. Not too difficult to get a squat rack or bench press even at peak hours. My one complaint is that I never attended the classes, and the classes were right next to the cardio equipment and pretty loud and would always happen right around 5/6 pm. But sometimes trainers would play good music so whatever. Locker rooms were pretty clean. Decent sauna. Overall good value.

Markus Eng: A great gym for those who value the diversity of fitness and training methods. Yoga, martial arts, boxing and Pilates are some of the many practices here.

Julia Hlavacik: I hate the gym, but I love this gym. The owners care about their gym-goers and will learn your name before your free week is over. They learn what works for you and what doesn’t and help you modify. This isn’t a gym with a lot of frills, but they do have some frills that count like a clean locker room and free-to-use mats in the yoga studio. I didn’t like that I had to commit to a certain amount of time when I signed up because my job comes with some chance of relocation, but they have a reasonable cancellation policy if you move more than 50 miles away. It didn’t end up mattering because of my job and I have not wanted to cancel for any other reason either. I’ll be coming back as long as I live in Seattle. Special thanks to Joe and Derek for all of their work with me!

Seattle Strength & Performance: what do users think?

Alex Maloney: Great coaches and workouts! You never know what the workout is for the day so it kept me from backing out and skipping any days. Ro is only coach I worked with, but he’s fantastic at ensuring proper technique, keeping you motivated throughout the entire workout and making your legs jello. I had 2 shoulder surgeries so modifications and progression of my strength was my main concern when starting at this gym. It only took a MONTH for us working at it for me to get 25lbs over my head for the first time in 2 years. If you put in the work, you will see results!

Girish Shekhar: during this period. The coaches are great, they are friendly and they keep you motivated through the class. Despite being in a group class the coaches monitor your form and correct you in case you go wrong. I've been making progress with my fitness goals feel more healthier after I've joined them.SSP is not just a gym, its a community. Highly recommended if you're looking for a gym.Covid update : They make sure to keep masks on during workout. Enough space between stations and you get your own equipment during the workout. Sanitization available at each station. Outdoor workouts if you aren't comfortable inside as well as virtual. They have adapted to the situation very well to keep you safe and fit.

Richard Bajnoczy: I just like walking buy and checking out the hot guys

Kayza Robertson: Positive:QualityRoland is an awesome personal trainer. Very knowledgeable, motivating, caring and respectful. I look forward to coming to the gym just to work with him; I’ve learned so much in the few training sessions I’ve had here. Appreciate you guys, thank you so much! Keep on putting the greatness out that you do!

Robert Hall: All admissions and coaches are great and friendly! The stadium is really good, the equipment is super clean and beautiful. And I'm glad I found it.

Kyle Martinez: Great place the trainers really make you feel like you're part of the team

Brian Lee: These guys rock it in DT Seattle. Classes that will kick your @#$!

The Seattle Gym: what do users think?

Stephanie Kardos: Awesome gym!

Joanna Beecher: This gym is chill and everyone is super nice!Love Anthony’s cycle class on Saturday AM and Kari’s REACH class on Sunday.

Tatiana Reyes: Never too crowded and a lot of different machines available

Grace Stephens: The Seattle Gym is an absolute gem. The impeccably clean & maintained space, attentive staff, and abundance of high quality equipment create a welcoming and elevated gym experience for everyone. Not to mention the wide selection of fitness classes led by wonderful instructors every single day. I’ve worked out at an assortment of gyms over the years and TSG stands out beyond comparison. Great community and great location, too. I absolutely recommend TSG to anyone looking for a great gym experience!

Tristan Ingold: This is an amazing gym for a seasoned lifter or someone that is making a workout their news resolution. For Seattle the membership fee is affordable and you get so many perks. Also it’s a month to month membership so they do not lock you into a long term contract. On the perks, they have a sauna, locker rooms, a weight room, cardio room, and they offer tons of classes that come free with the membership!

RobNeir: HIGHLY recommend. Best gym in Seattle. Nice community. Not overly modern like LA fitness which is lame. Much more down to earth family run, clean, good people. Everything you could need including some boxing bags, open space for activities upstairs, plenty of weighs and machines.

Maya L: Very clean inside and super friendly staff! Tons of equipment to choose from, my new go-to

Steve Johnson: Friendly and unpretentious

Prem Kumar Reddy Muvva: Clean and Not that crowded.

Nina V: I love this place. The classes are amazing because the instructors are amazing. They work hard on their routines, they introduce new and interesting elements all the time, and they genuinely care about people in the class. Strongly recommend this place.

Kristina Kraft: So sad they are closing. I love this place.

Nick Nordlie: Positive:Professionalism,QualityGreat gym. Towels available along with sauna, shower, and good mix of machines/freeweights etc. given the space.

Sasikanth Nagalla: Great location, not crowded.

Clara Merlino: Beautiful space. Paying about $80 a month. Everything you might need.

Sabrina Yoder: This gym is so much more to us than working out. It transformed a tenacity for life. It’s more than fitness. It’s a community. It’s coaches who see your capabilities and push you harder. It’s friends who poke fun at your idiosyncrasies, who celebrate your victories and who check in with you when you’re down. Most gyms have an atmosphere of body comparison and ability shame. But this gym is different. This group has a diversity of ages, abilities, goals, and personalities. But they each embody their own flavor and they are each encouraged to be the best of who they are.It is our tribe. ❤️Denali Fitness. Keep on changing lives.

Theresa Olson: Felt very safe while having good workout

richard thomas: Very clean club! Super friendly staff!

Morgan Houghton: Brand new equipment throughout the gym! Super sleek! Nice job guys! Also, the group classes are top notch with a mix of HIIT type classes, Yoga and cycle. Completely affordable especially for the quality and the experience. Thanks Denali!

Flow Fitness: what do users think?

Flow Fitness

Matthew James Briggs:

James Sebastian: Great place to work out.

Karen Jurgensen: Staff is wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. Great facilities and classes.

Chanomi Maxwell-Parish: . They also have free parking in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. All in all, a Seattle miracle!!

Eric Wolak: This facility is conveniently located and has a wide range of free weights, machines, and classes. They even have a body analyzer that was incredibly informative. The staff is so nice and helpful. I highly recommend!

Payton Renner: This is the best gym in Seattle HANDS DOWN. Best equipment, best locker rooms, best staff! I always feel so welcome here.

Kylie L: I have enjoyed the classes here. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable in proving advices to questions or concerns I have relating to the exercises I attend during their classes. They even provide me suggestions on how to prevent them. They also take effort to remember names of those who attend their classes.

FITNESS 19: what do users think?

Jacob M: Sad this location is closing 4/13/2024The gym was a perfect place to get familiarized with exercising and lifting weights. It had a diverse demographic and felt inclusive with minimal "gym-fluencers". The high schoolers were annoying but ignorable, occasional broken equipment, and not always the cleanest, but ALWAYS had great customer service and was affordable.I hope they can find a new location and re-open because of the people that work there. They transferred membership to LA Fitness - they have *terrible* reviews from local guides and regular reviewers. I do not want to give them my money or be judged by their employees/clients/etc.

Pegi Stockton: for rehabbing … haven’t seen any🤷‍♀️

James Cruz: Good local neighborhood gym, has what you need for a good price! Manager was very kind and welcoming.

Chase Dittrich: Big fan of Fitness 19. Lots of equipment, pretty darn clean, and friendly staff. I've done a few personal training sessions, too, and they were great. On top of all of that, it's super cheap. Nothing to complain about!

Netto Cancilla: Everything you need in a gym. A hack squat machine would be cool to add

Ethan Perales: Great basic gym with all the essentials for a low price. Beware the afternoons however, as a large group of high schoolers come in pretty regularly and act exactly how you would expect- loud, dropping weights, not cleaning up after themselves, etc. Just kids being kids, but best get your workout in the mornings or evenings to avoid the annoyance factor.

Chris: Amazing price, staff, and quality of equipment. Everyone in the reviews that is upset about teenagers being in the gym is being a baby. Everyone pays the same amount , and it’s a shared space. Not to mention this gym is so much cheaper than LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and most big name gyms. Overall I give this gym 10/10!

Colby Smith: The best gym I've found in Seattle for weightlifting, rarely too crowded, mostly casual and friendly gym goers, always squeaky clean, great staff.

Seattle Athletic Club: what do users think?

Yi Chiang: Great location and amenities! I had a great time as a member of this gym; often taking advantage of the salt water pool and indoor basketball court. The equipment here has definitely seen better days and I eventually transitioned to another gym since that was more important in my book. The crowd here definitely caters more towards the older crowd, which was not ideal for me. However, If you’re looking for a place with many amenities and a great staff, look no further… I couldn’t recommend this place and its staff anymore if lifting isn’t your top priority.

Bradley Patton: For the past few months, I've been a member of this gym, and I can't rave about it enough! With its wide variety of amenities, this gym really distinguishes out from the competition, which is why I joined with no hesitation. There are a few interesting things about this place, including the fact that it's never crowded and the personnel, especially Lucky. My recommendation of this gym to friends has been aided by their encouragement.

Michael Schimke: My renewed enthusiasm in working out can be attributed to my new employment. A SAC membership is a health benefit provided by my employer. I just finished my first week of exercise, and while I'm a little sore, it's in a nice manner. I adore everything I'm learning from the incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming personnel here.

Terry Jung: it's been 1 week, so far it's ok. Ofc it could always be better with better furniture, better lockers, better atmosphere, better whatever but it does the job, it has a ton of various cardio equipment, lots of weights, various classes and can't beat the location. I do think the enrollment fee is a scam especially given how outdated this place is but i didn't have a choice. The pool is outdated and short in length [20 yards] but it is the only one available in this area so i appreciate it. Staff so far has been nice.

Linwood Zimmer: My unforgettable encounter with delectable muffins enhanced the sweetness of my journey to Dallas! I kept going back for more because of their alluring flavors and melt-in-your-mouth textures, which were a pleasant surprise. I gladly brought 12 irreplaceable treasures home because it appeared like everyone in this wonderful city couldn't get enough, making my time in Texas very memorable.

Almeda Carter: . The gym offers almost any type of training you can imagine, such as swimming, martial arts, weightlifting, squash, basketball, and the list goes on. Parking can be free, depending on the time. a first-rate spa and a friendly staff. No issues. This place is fantastic. I wholeheartedly urge everyone to join Seattle Athletic Club!

Archie Davies: We have more than just a gym as SAC downtown members; it has genuinely become our home away from home. This local gym is perfect for any fitness fanatic because it has pleasant staff and no loud music to keep us from exercising. Additionally, they truly make sure you get your money's worth with a ton of free seminars and private sessions accessible at an additional cost. There are undoubtedly many reasons why joining the SAC is so highly recommended, and we consider it an honor to be a member of such an exceptional group.   I highly  recommend  Seattle Athletic Club to everyone!

Freddie Fox: Through the Seattle Athletic Club's cutting-edge online lessons, I was able to continue my training regimen during lockdown and preserve both my physical and mental well-being. Their capacity for quick adaptability and commitment to provide a wide range of options amply demonstrated their value. To anyone trying to stay active and healthy, I highly recommend this group.

Kiara Saunders: I've gone when graduation day comes around once more without fail.  I definitely recommend  Seattle Athletic Club to everyone!

Jamie Whitaker: Explore your family's full potential by taking advantage of the limitless options at SAC! Everyone in your family will be inspired and motivated along the way with a wide range of classes, programs, and events catered to your special objectives and aspirations. Downtown Seattle Athletic Club is where  highly recommended - don't miss out on this game-changing experience!

Rival Fitness: what do users think?

Haily Holt: , classes 2x per week, and occasionally going in on active rest days for light cardio. As long as you're using all of the benefits, the cost is *well* worth it.Nothing but great things to say about Rival. The gym has a great vibe, the staff is great, and I feel like I'm actually making strides on my fitness goals now.

Christopher Kaczmarek: Fancy but pricey but clean

Braden Nix: Nothing but good things to say about Rival. The staff is wonderful, trainers are knowledgeable and authentic, the facility is always clean, and it’s rarely “too” busy like most gyms can be.Overall, this is the most welcoming gym I have ever been to. The energy in this place is always great. I tried all the other gyms in the area before coming to Rival and they really do not compare. It was a a no brainer the moment I walked in.

Kareem Ali: I started at Rival fitness with the strength squad which helped me learn lifting with good technique, introduced me to friendly people, and helped me go through some rough times since that was right after I moved to Seattle when things were under COVID restrictions, so the place means a lot to me personally. That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times. It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Kyle Good: Sweet a gym that's like not even 5 blocks from my house.

Fremont Health Club: what do users think?

Levi West (W&BM): Went and tried a 3 day pass and did a yoga class. Ended up really liking the yoga class and the staff and trainers I met we're all welcoming and same with the members that I worked out with.

Noah Taylor: Fremont Health Club is a phenomenal gym. I previously went to the LA fitness in Ballard however it was always over crowded and chaotic. FHC has a much better workout environment and never feels too crowded. They recently added some premium equipment making this already great gym even better. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Greg Mushen: I love this place. I’ve been a member of other gyms in the neighborhood, and this place is my favorite. There’s a great selection of equipment, a sauna, and there’s rarely a wait for any of the equipment.

Daniel Yzaguirre-Vidaurri: Great gym with awesome views.

Ian Slater: Great gym with classes, a sled, and infrared sauna! Wonderful owner/operator that cares about her clients.

Liam Blodgett (L Blo): I only talked with staff and toured this gym. I ended up going in a different direction, but only because I practice hardstyle kettlebells and have very specific equipment requirements, which FHC did not meet.Overall this seemed like a great facility for the average gym-goer: welcoming to all types, conveniently located, with well priced and flexible membership options. Taylor at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind over the phone and in person. Star employee.

Anton Shenk: My experience with this gym has been nothing short of fantastic — the facility is meticulously well-kept and stocked with any equipment you’d need for both cardio and strength training. Despite its popularity, it never feels crowded or overwhelming, thanks to the abundance of available machines and workout space. What truly sets this gym apart, however, is its people. The instructors are incredibly kind and always eager to provide individualized support. Their encouragement and guidance have made a world of difference in my fitness journey. Furthermore, the owner's generosity with membership policies is genuinely commendable and has made it possible for my entire family to enjoy the benefits of this amazing facility. I can't recommend this gym highly enough — I don’t ever write reviews, but it's truly a five-star establishment.

Soph: Great local business the owners are wonderful! Even though it's not huge it has everything you need and more, and the sauna is wonderful. I have been going here on and off for some time and they always are so welcoming. Very clean and great bang for your buck. 👍

Alex: Great club, awesome owner. Highly recommend!

Sonny J: Great place to workout. Owner and staff very nice and friendly

Chris Tachibana: If you're in Seattle for a short stay, this gym is a great option. Lots of short-term payment options, friendly and helpful owner and staff, and a terrific health club, all around.

Gen: I love the Fremont Health Club. They have everything you need to do a great workout and I never have issues with it being too crowded. I love that it's so clean and nice and the price for the membership is excellent. I also have had a really great experience whenever I need help from the staff.

R Shin: Been with this gym since I first moved here. It has most if not all the equipment you will need to do all your workouts, plus they have classes you can take which are included in your membership.Management is fantastic and the people here are also great. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a well managed, clean gym with absolutely what you need to stay in shape.

conner nielander: Truly the best gym for the best price. Its never too crowded which helps me focus, always open, the air inside is fresh, has a beautiful view of lake union and downtown, constantly adding new machines and tools, the people are so friendly and the owner is so nice! So worth it!

Seattle Strength & Performance - Queen Anne: what do users think?

Jennifer Wesson: SSP is the first gym I've been to where I have felt truly safe and welcome. I come as I am and I don't feel like I'm wearing the wrong thing or I'm too old or too big to be here. I have made faster and more impressive gains in strength and confidence here than anywhere else. The coaches really know, I mean KNOW, their stuff and are always able to provide accommodations and are quick with encouragement. I am so thrilled to have found this small but mighty gym.

Kellyanne Kennedy: , motivational+knowledgeable coaches and fun music. Hands down, best workout studio I've been to - and I've tried a lot.

Jodi: SSP is such a positive gym experience. I enjoy all of the coaches and appreciate the way they know names of members and accommodate different needs for strength training. The classes are fun and especially early in the morning- appreciate the positive energy! Great way to start the day and fun group of people!

Maggie Chappel: Chris Travis is a great trainer! I have rheumatoid arthritis and my flare ups are unpredictable. Chris is able to meaningfully modify exercises in the moment for me- which I am SO grateful for. He makes working out accessible for me.There is a variety of equipment and it is all in great condition. The sets/exercises Chris plans for each session are engaging, challenging and fun! I have learned a variety of exercises and how to safely use different equipment. Both SSP locations are clean, organized and have a great vibe.

Philippe O.: Great space and even better people. I've been going for a few months and the welcoming and positive environment makes most work outs fun and productive. They tailor the programs to what you want to get out of it and are there with tons of support and options.

Nerys Jones: After 2 years hiatus from working out because of a health issue, I finally felt ready to find a new gym that would nurture and support my journey back to a good place physically and mentally. SSP has not disappointed. It is more than a gym, it's a community of supportive people of all ages and physical abilities who enjoy working out together. I look forward to every class. Who knew exercise could be so much fun !!!

Kayla Berlinberg: SSP has been an amazing experience- coming in with essentially no gym experience, I wanted to join a program that would really teach me the foundations, motivate me outside my comfort zone, and get me into a routine with strength training. I genuinely look forward to my personal training sessions every week and have learned so much from each coach. It's really cool to look back at where I started to where I am now, knowing there is more progress to come. Thank you SSP!

Geetika Pandya: My experience at SSP has been fantastic! It’s been a pleasure to work with the coaches, who are all excellent - kind, motivating, and so inclusive! They’ve been more than willing to answer questions and provide additional information whenever requested - special shoutout to the coaches I’ve interacted with most - Michelle, Danny, and Natalie, thank you! The community at SSP is something I’ve grown very quickly attached to - it’s been super welcoming even as a newbie to strength training.Personally, I’m already seeing results - in terms of my posture, energy levels, and stamina. The personal training sessions have been very helpful in catering to my specific goals. The pace and level of difficulty of the metcon and strength classes fits my needs, and challenges me to the optimum level. If you’re in the Seattle area and looking for a wholesome gym experience, this is the place!

Anna Rapp: SSP is the best! What I love most is the no-nonsense, welcoming attitude. I’ve never felt like I belonged in fitness spaces. It’s been wonderful to find this warm community of coaches and members, and to feel encouraged to try things I might never have anticipated I could achieve. I feel so much more confident in the gym, and so much stronger in my daily life!

Donald Wood: I joined SSP towards the end of the pandemic. I had put on a few extra pounds. I was out of shape. I was so glad to become a member of SSP. The trainers are wonderful. I came from a background of doing yoga for 20 years. I know something of body mechanics. The SSP trainers are incredibly knowledgeable. The icing on the cake is my new family of friends I’ve made with other gym attendees. This is a really special and wonderful place.I highly recommend.

Amy Muth: I LOVE this gym!!! I joined a few months ago, and I have been so impressed with the knowledge and care of all of the staff members. There are trainers with advanced degrees and advanced certificates, a physical therapist, and a dietician on staff, all of whom meet people where they are. It was important to me to go to a gym that did not push fad or extremely restrictive diets, and they don’t. It is entirely up to you as to whether you work with their nutritionist or not, and the advice they do provide via their newsletter or opt-in meetings is nutritionally and scientifically sound. They are body-positive, their workouts are well-designed to avoid injury, and are very effective. I’m really impressed with the time that goes into designing individual personal training plans and how they scale up over time. And, as someone who has had a sprained ankle and two knee surgeries, they truly incorporate exercises that build muscle strength designed to help keep my knee and ankle healthy, much like my former physical therapist did. And a small thing, but—I really appreciate how they don’t blast loud music during the workouts! I look forward to my workouts because the trainers always have such positive attitudes, they go by quickly, and I always feel great afterwards. Thanks, SSP!

Megan Christenson: I can't speak highly enough about SSP. I joined their trial 4 months ago after a decade of going to big box gyms and using at-home workout apps and ultimately giving up or not seeing results I wanted. I finally took a chance on SSP and it's the best decision I've ever made for my body and mental health. Each Personal Training or Strength/Endurance class focuses on full body mobility, strength, form, and balance. Every single workout is a 10/10 and I look forward to coming in every day - something I never thought I'd say. It's also such a convenient small gym to join if you have a busy schedule. I own a business and work from home so my schedule is random and SSP's time slots are so vast that I can always find a convenient time to come in.Another wonderful part about SSP is the people. The trainers are so kind, helpful, and personal with you so you don't feel like just a customer. They're also extremely smart and keen to watching and adjusting your form. All of the members are friendly and supportive as well, they even do monthly happy hours! It's clear that community is in SSP's core values. The last thing to add is that people usually start going to a new gym to see results in their body, which admittedly was mine as well, but the biggest, most pleasant surprise I've had is how in love with the process I've fallen. It's fun to see results but feeling good and being excited to move my body everyday has surpassed my initial expectations.

Teri Franklin: Great trainers, great community, flexible days/times. They work you, but it’s fun.

Kéleigh Sapp: After moving to Seattle in March 2021 I joined SSP two months later to prepare for my first Spartan race. I had no idea it would be the place where I met some of my best friends and become a part of such an amazing community full of motivated, encouraging and just purely awesome people. I’ve been to a lot of gyms but SSP is like no other. The coaches are by far the best when it comes to professionalism, caring about and educating members , and investing in the health of our community. SSP is more than just a gym…it’s a family…it’s a safe space that truly recognizes the importance of health, physically and mentally. Being able to focus on strength training and nutrition these past two years has not only drastically improved my muscle development but also my mindset when it comes to determination and never giving up!

Stacey Kinkead: I’ve been a member of SSP for over a year now. I’ve worked out my entire life and have experienced big box gyms to Ys, and now SSP. While traveling, I recently experienced a more classic gym setup. 90% of the exercise machines were set up for men by men. I know my way around workouts, but I felt overwhelmed and wanted to get out as soon as I could. It gave me so much gratitude for my gym. SSP is the polar opposite. I would classify SSP as a ‘mindful, inclusive gym’. Majority of the classes include people in their 20s to 60s+ with a healthy mix of women and men. The workout is always hard, satisfying, and supportive. You get lots of individual help and your classmates are fun to hang with. The owner, Chris, and other teachers, know their craft exceptionally well, have a high bar and are supportive. They meet you where you are and encourage you to become more in the best way. Thanks for creating a gym that deserves a whole new category descriptor and disrupting status quo. I don’t know what I’d do without you, SSP!

Christopher Sauceda: I spent 3 months with a nutritional consultation expert, Britt Myer, where I built life-long healthy dietary habits and transformed my body! Awkward and frustrating at first when I was starting to change what I ate, Britt was always available to answer questions and listen to my feelings and feedback.

M J Kaiser: I've had a great experience with SSP. It's a really positive environment, and I'm really happy with the results.I started going to SSP for general health improvements, but also hoping that it could help with hockey. I recently got back into hockey at 40+ after 20 years off, and I found that my quads, especially, didn't have the strength to finish out the games in good form, and I was also getting muscle-strain injuries fairly often.Since joining SSP, my strength is better, so I'm finishing games with the same form that I start with, my flexibility is worlds better, and I haven't had an injury since. I set a goal for myself of competing in a higher division of hockey, which means keeping up with even faster, younger players, and I've been able to make that happen this year. Highly recommend SSP!

Ballard Health Club: what do users think?

Lohit: A fantastic neighborhood gym! Friendly staff, knowledgeable personal trainers, a wide range of classes, and well maintained equipment. Noah is a great personal trainer to work with and achieve your fitness goals.

Trey Harnden: Recently joined. Fair price for the gym. Lots of free weights and machines.

Frank Lim: . Wish the treadmills went faster than 12mph and 15% incline though. Equipment they do have is usually in working order and not out of service for long. We don't do group-ex so can't speak to quality of those classes, though they are there, for both spin and yoga/HIIT/Zumba/etc.

Norwick Lee: Cloth and liquid available for wiping equipment down, liked the classes, never too crowded to do workout I wanted to do and had all the equipment I needed for PT and strength training, WASN'T DIFFICULT TO CANCEL when I stopped being near Ballard, borrow a lock system gave me peace of mind, convenient to shower. Just all around a decent gym.

Talon Hyatt: Welcoming staff and patrons. I feel safe as a trans person in the gym and locker rooms.

Sourabh S Shenoy: This is an excellent gym. The membership is great value, the classes are great. Parking is hassle free and cheap. Have nothing bad to say about the gym or its trainers/staff. Highly recommend!

Richae Marie Fox: Love Ballard Health Club, especially Jose’sStep Aerobic Classes!!

Yasir Ahsan: great gym friendly staff

Jade Levinson: My partner and I go 3-4 times a week. Amazing value for the pricey neighborhood it’s in. Basic membership allows for visits 7 days a week during front desk hours, equipment is always in good condition, and other members are always very respectful about wiping down equipment. I worked with personal trainer Lillian Glover who helped me learn proper form for squats and deadlifts which really enhanced my lower body workouts.

GINNY GAGNON: I appreciate it's a family-owned and run business -- the owner is always cheerfully there among the happy members. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the equipment is kept in excellent condition. The ladies’ dressing room is always neat and clean with complimentary toiletries. There is a comfortable and relaxing reception area where you can chat on your cell phone or check your emails. Reasonably priced parking permits seal the deal in this one-of-a-kind health club!!

Mama San: Having great workouts their in a women's small group and also tried the spin class - it was super!

Transform 180 Training - Belltown: what do users think?

Mo Nasr: I have started training with Wolfgang for 3 weeks now.Wolfgang has been a great coach. he is very attentive during workouts and have helped me with helpful feedback to slowly fix the muscle imbalance and to be able muscle isolation during workouts. He came up with a custom plan for my goals and has provided interesting and fun cardio plans than just using the treadmill.

Bo: I had Keanu as my personal trainer. He is very kind and patience. I would highly recommend this gym and have him as a personal trainer. I will tag my friends about this.

Cathy C: Tatyana is so nice! Would love to check out her Fit to Born class again. And the whole vibe at this gym is so friendly. Chill Saturday morning, not crowded at all. Best gym I’ve checked out in Seattle so far!

Schuyler Mcauliffe: I've been doing partner training sessions with my fiancé under the guidance of Hailey for the past month and she's an exceptional couples trainer. Hailey’s attentiveness to both of us is remarkable, always providing encouragement while ensuring our safety during exercises. We really admire her ability to tailor workout routines perfectly suited to our individual strength and flexibility levels.Additionally, she's crafted a customized exercise plan specifically designed for the small gym in our apartment, making our fitness goals enjoyable and attainable. Highly recommend her services to any couple looking to elevate their fitness goals together!

Jennifer Pohlman: and challenge myself in my running and hiking outside of the gym. A huge thank you to Wolfgang and Transform 180 for giving me the encouragement and tools I needed to change my life and for introducing me to my favorite exercise of all time, the barbell deadlift.

Keeseok Hong: This is a great gym. It has all the necessary equipments, and good coach/trainers who will always help you with questions/forms and etc. Best gym in Seattle Belltwon.

Subramanian K: James is amazing! Working out with him is motivating and challenging. And talking to James about almost anything is a huge learning experience!

Vignesh Natarajan: I train with James and he's incredibly patient and understanding. In a few months I've grown confident in my routine and have learned a ton. Strongly recommend!

Giulia Scelzo: I have been training with James Jensen at the Belltown location for approximately nine months and have had a great experience so far. James is an excellent personal trainer: he is extremely attentive during workouts, provides helpful feedback and suggestions to improve form, comes up with new and well thought out routines to keep things interesting, and pushes me to work hard without compromising safety.I have never enjoyed exercising and historically quit after two or three months, but working with James has motivated me for the first time, as his energy and cheerfulness make it much easier to show up and get through the sessions and I can feel I’ve become noticeably stronger. James is also very knowledgeable about muscle anatomy: thanks to the exercise plan he tailored for me I was able to significantly reduce longstanding upper back and shoulder pain. Beyond that, James always goes the extra mile by preparing personalized exercise routines for me when I’m on vacation or not coming in the gym, and is extremely flexible and accommodating when it comes to schedule changes.Aside from my training session experience, the Belltown gym itself has all the equipment I could need, and I appreciate that everyone is always friendly and respectful, it’s never too crowded, and all equipment is wiped down after use.

Amber Chen: I have been training with Wolfgang for the past 6 months and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The personalized workouts has helped me achieve my fitness goals. Highly recommend!

Igor Martire: I quickly visited the gym with a day pass to check it out, as I'm soon going to be moving to that area and everything looked good. It's definitely smaller than the SLU location, but the selection of equipment looked good. I'll be able to provide more feedback next month once I start going there 5x/week, but I'm optimistic.

Tatjana Williams-Haeck: Best decision I made was to spend my money on my health to get back in shape. Great gym! Wolfgang is wonderful! Super happy and can’t wait to crush more of my goals

Carol Wiederrecht: I am a 66-year old client of the Belltown branch of Transform 180. It’s an outstanding place to get strong. The equipment is great, and a good variety so you’ll never get bored. But the best part of the gym is the trainers. My trainer Rachel challenges me, encourages me, and keeps me motivated to do more. The few times I had a substitute, the fill-ins were great too.I never thought I would find myself in a weight lifting gym. But the people at Transform 180 made me feel like one of the team.

General Information: . The environment is very pleasant and doesn't feel cramped. This is my primary location.Facility, SLU:A huge space with several power racks, full set of dumbbell/kettlebell, and not only a basic core set of machines but many "advanced" machines/apparatus

P G: Started training a few weeks ago with Keng at the Belltown location. Very good experience of training and learning new techniques to get stronger. Every training session leaves me feeling more energetic and motivated. Friendly staff and great ambience.

Andrei Anashkin: Where to begin? I’ve been training at Transform 180 for a year and half, and I couldn’t have asked for a better personal training experience. The facilities are superb, a large variety of equipment for targeted exercises. My trainer Rachel has been fantastic, challenging me, shaping my goals and working to help me achieve them, and with a friendly personal touch that has me looking forward to my sessions each week. 6/5 highly recommend.

Blake Watson: .He's really helped me to rebuild my relationship with the gym and build a more sustainable workout routine for myself that I hope to carry on for longer.I highly recommend anyone who is nervous to check out this place if you're looking to kickstart your fitness journey!

Gyeongmin Go: Gym itself, have sufficient tools, but looks old.Training, I'm satisfying with my trainer!

Clement Ma: I have been working with James for the past couple of months. In that time he has proven to be knowledgeable about the workout plans along with being flexible to work around some prior injuries. He will often call out when I start to lose proper form to ensure that I am getting everything out of my time at the gym. I would recommend James as a trainer if you are at the Belltown location.

utsav goel: James has been phenomenal to work with. He brings new exercises and workouts to ensure the experience is great and effective

Seattle Athletic Club Northgate: what do users think?

Heather Davis: , lift weights, and run on the treadmill. I also wanted the equipment to be highly available so I didn’t need to wait around, and the whole place to be clean and well maintained. There’s a lot of care and attention Seattle Athletic Club puts into having a clean, comfortable location. It’s always well staffed, there’s always parking, and they communicate with members about upcoming changes. They take care of the big things and the small things like hairdryers, cotton swabs, machines to wring out your swimsuit and bags, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers, plenty of lockers with locks, large and small towels, and special social events. It’s a great place to work out - maybe even on those days you don’t quite feel like it.

Robert Hobbs: I had a less than favorable first impression of the club and was prepared to give up and join the nearby gym. Lena, however, had other ideas! My interest in this facility was piqued by her friendly greeting; the abundance of lessons offered and the cutting-edge equipment sealed my choice to join. I definitely recommend  Seattle Athletic Club to everyone!

Cecelia Woodham: I'm an avid supporter of the Seattle Athletic Club! My schedule is filled with a variety of activities, from competitive squash games to lounging by the pool, thanks to five different workouts each week. However, it's what happens after that keeps me coming back time and time again; their nutrition cafe is constantly filled with delectable beverages ideal for refueling after workout. This club has undoubtedly earned ten fingers up for everything from superb facilities to delicious snacks!

Cara Harkey: Discover the secret to pushing yourself through those sluggish days and getting the workout you need - the gym! With its user-friendly equipment and vibrant energy, it's the ultimate motivation booster. And if you're eco-conscious like us, you'll love the idea of an EV charging station available in the parking lot. We can't recommend the Seattle Athletic Club enough for your fitness journey.

Charles Duncan: As a former member who recently rejoined, I can attest that their quality has remained outstanding. In particular, the pool is a major draw for me – and while the new reservation system may have been frustrating at first, I've found it to be a game-changer overall. , I sincerely hope this one is here to stay. Don't miss out on SACNG – it's a highly recommended destination for your fitness needs.

Giovani Wolfe: This top-notch gym has kept members safe and satisfied throughout the pandemic, and now that things are improving, you can once again enjoy their awesome classes and amazing staff. Don't miss out on the ultimate gym experience- join Seattle Athletic Club today!

Chirambo George: Seattle Athletic Club is an exceptional example of Covid protocol implementation, providing an atmosphere that feels completely safe. The staff are consistently friendly and professional. I highly recommend this establishment to all.

Riley Dawson: Despite concerns about gym safety during the pandemic, I have felt nothing but reassured by the club's high standards of cleanliness and the kindness and professionalism of its staff. The locker rooms, showers, and pool area are always spotless and kept in impeccable condition. I cannot recommend this gym community enough. Thanks to the amazing staff at Seattle Athletic Club for making this place feel like home.
