I don't think they usually deliver, but they were happy to help me out since I live only a few blocks away. Top service and excellent people. Very competitive prices for the level of finishing and craftsmanship. I stop by occasionally just to see what new and beautiful piece they have in. A neighborhood gem!

Meredith Hansen Favero: Chris is amazing! He helped us through purchase and finishing a dining table from his lovely shop. Unfortunately, we noticed a few flaws in the wood. He quickly sent out a specialist to do repairs, but we decided that it needed replaced. He was so cooperative with us through this process and even offered to have it picked up since we don't have transport for the table. We look forward to having Tirto as a resource for quality service and furniture in the future!

Michelly Calzadilla: Cool furniture store that's a lot larger than expected, but pretty far out of the way. Almost everything is wood with neat designs and decent quality. There were a few things we saw, but quite a bit was proportioned for a house moreso than apartment living. Prices were in-line with what you'd expect given the quality and designs. I would have appreciated more variety in colors and materials. I recommend checking it out.

I know, it makes sense because of the name of the store "Bedrooms and More". I think in the main store they also have other type of furniture, like dining tables. I recommend this place if you are thinking about buying a bed. They have also financial options.

I had a chance to visit the store and it's an absolute gem. Their furniture have been restored very well and all are in pristine condition. Having just arrived here and still waiting for our furniture to arrive, he immediately let us know they would provide us with a bed while we were waiting for the new one we ordered. Outstanding service all around.

I found a great deal on a full-size bed after being misled by another furniture store on pricing. Called and ordered with Omar and he provided delivery or pickup options. We live a distance away so just drove up on Sunday for pickup at the warehouse site. I called even before the warehouse opened to check if my vehicle would work for the set being picked up. I got the pleasant help needed. Upon arrival, gentlemen there was very easygoing, found my order quickly, and loaded it into my vehicle. I also needed a new piece of wood to stabilize this middle of our bed and he made one on-site, free of charge. So yes we'll be back online or in-store and this accentuates that the drive

Friday Hunt: My review is from the other end. I love his mid- century modern style, when we downsized we consigned several large pieces of furniture and are very pleased at the professionalism there.He is clear, organized, and prices things to sell quickly but also making enough for both parties to be happy with a 59/50 split.He will also consign IKEA pieces if their style fits in, but at a lower price to make sure they will sell.The shower room is always clean, and there is enough space to display all the pieces attractively.All in all, I’m very happy, and if I needed any furniture that type, I would definitely shop there.

Robin Harrison: We had originally ordered a similar sofa from Apt2B, which is a national major chain, and with a promise of 4-8 weeks delivery time, and no couch after 5 months with no real delivery date in site, we got our money back from Apt2B and headed to Modern Design Sofas here locally in the Central District.BOY, are we happy we did! Service was absolutely fantastic, it was so nice to get to feel them out in person, and the delivery time was VERY reasonable and our sofa is LUXURIOUS. It's my dream couch and all our friends are obsessed.10/10 would recommend them for your sofa-purchasing needs.

Josh was great to work with and was patient with me as I took about 3 weeks to mull over some decisions about the size of the sectional and the fabric choice. There was never any pressure whatsoever. He was very helpful in letting me know things to consider when I was deciding on a fabric and gave me several samples to take home to consider. He was also key to me picking out the correct color for the legs that would go best. In addition to the great service, MDS has a very smart and sharp array of designs and styles. I shopped around at several other stores I would always typically go to in years past but I kept coming back to MDS.

Jill Bender: Many of our friends have enjoyed their Modern Design sofa for years. We did our own assessment of sofas available and found the quality and design of the sofas perfect for us. We are very happy with our new sofa and the service was excellent.
Bruce Meyers: Very unassuming store that is jammed full with sofa's & chairs. At first, I thought that most of the designs and colors were not right for my son & his wife. However, two sectionals caught our attention. One had a desireable contemporary design with nice fabric. The second one had a better design and the sofa was about 10 inches wider than the other one. However, the fabric was all wrong. Josh was so helpful when we told him what we were looking for in terms of design, colors, and durability. He showed us several other fabrics that ticked all the boxes for both color, texture, and durability. To our surprise, Josh showed us how we could customize the sofa with a better fabric for no increase in price. We could select the color of the wood legs and for a modest fee we could add 6 button tufting to each of the three sofa back cushions. Both the back and seat cushions were fully reversable and could be serviced at the store if anything went wrong in the future. All of this could be made for us in Los Angeles and delivered in 4 to six weeks. We looked at several chain furniture stores and another local store. Modern Design sofas had the best quality and prices compared to the other stores. We bought a high quality customized sofa with the lowest delivery cost for about what we would have paid at a higher end chain store. Their sofa didn't compare in terms of design or base price fabrics.

Not only did they have an impressive array of fabrics to choose from but the quality, craftsmanship, comfort, service and delivery all exceeded expectations. To top it off, it arrived in only 5 weeks and it was made in the US. We will be in need of another sofa for our home and will absolutely come back to Modern Design Sofas! The price was great and I got exactly what I wanted in a high quality well-designed item, in what looks and feels like a custom fabric, for easily half the price of anywhere in Seattle or generally online. They have a brick and mortar location downtown with design assistance, but you can also order everything online and the owner will contact you about delivery and choices. My custom sofa bed was here in just three weeks.. This store is a well kept secret.

I love how they work with multiple vendors that fit within a range of budgets. I live close to their shop so I was always popping in asking questions about curtains, bedspread patterns, etc and I never felt like a bother. Jacob Bloom: . I first made contact in early January looking for a ballpark quote on the Holland Chase, Niki's response was prompt. We then went in to the brick and mortar location to see some models in person. Although they didn't have a Holland in the showroom, we were very impressed with the quality and feel of the couches. Niki happened to be there at the time and helped us pick out an appropriate fabric that would match the new rug we were waiting on. Based on our interaction at the showroom, my wife and I decided to place an order. We went in 1/8, had a quote 1/11 and after some back and forth, placed the order on 1/22. Once the order was placed, it took about a week for the factory to confirm the specs, at which point AH has you come in and sign off on the design. Just about every aspect of the couch is customizable but we were lucky in that the Holland fit our needs in its stock configuration so the confirmation process was quick and easy. I confirmed in person 1/28 and we received our couch 4/16, pretty much exactly when AH quoted us for lead time. We were informed on a Thursday that our couch was ready and would ship from LA to Seattle, it was delivered that Sunday. incredibly fast! The quality is top notch and the couch came out perfect. It was wrapped and protected well for shipping and showed up in perfect shape. We are very happy with the couch, it's extremely comfortable. Although not cheap, we are very glad we ordered from AH!

The every day books were my favorite collection to browse through. Quirky and funky, Retrofit Home sells lots of items you won’t find anywhere else. While their products aren’t cheap, the quality and uniqueness make up for it. Even their sale items can be fairly expensive, but they’re worth it if you want something special. I told the employee I loved their store and the vibe was so inviting and if I had more time I’d probably buy a lot more! C D: of not thoroughly inspecting a vintage item before, and it cost me. The same diligence applies here as anywhere else. Fortunately, I've been able to pop in to check out items before purchasing. Tracy is also super helpful with providing item details such as material or dimensions over Instagram.
