These gigantic price changes are suspicious in my opinion. Also, the acrylics are not very durable. I just got my second set with them on January 4th and not even 2 weeks later

Amiyra J: I've tried a lot of nails salons in Seattle, Sunny Island is by far the best. Not only is the staff friendly, great with shaping and designs, but they are efficient. So many places will tell you to come in while they are busy, and you end up waiting so long, not here. They will make sure to get you in and out without having you sitting around waiting.

Patricia Chirinos: I was running late for my appointment, and call to let them know, which was kindly taken. I arrive and immediately was attended by one of the nail technicians, a very calm and sweet lady who knew well what she was doing. She was very kind and careful not to damage my cuticles, unlike other salons have done in the past. I had a fill and change one tip which she did with such precision and detail. I explained her how I like my nails, and he did everything needed to achieve that what asked for. There was a problem with the UV light dryer which cause to botch the nail polish, but she didn't even think it twice, and redid the whole thing until it as virtually perfect. I left the salon very happy with the service they provided me with, and I will recommend anybody who truly is detail oriented, visit the salon as is just a wonderful how good they treat you!

You will feel so relaxed, refreshed and your nails will look like you're ready for the Oscars.They have a very different model, where you sit in real chairs, with bowls instead of whirring jacuzzi tubs, and I wasn't sure I would like this at first. Tessa R: Best nail salon I’ve been to in Seattle - and I’ve been to a lot in the Ballard/Greenwood area. A friend recommended Bolsa when I was in need of a new, better salon and I’ve never looked back. The women who work here are experts and genuine, good people to support. The massages are great, nails always look wonderful, solid color selection, and it’s a warm and relaxing space to be in. Not crowded, and you can keep to yourself or get to know the nice ladies working. 11/10.

I usually come here for shellac, and it lasts 3 weeks and looks great until it grows out. They also do lots of dipping powder and have a ton of color options. Lovely staff and owner; I used to wait to come on holiday breaks when I was living on the east coast - they're the best!

Leiren Designs: The best pedicure I have had in town. I usually get the deluxe, but this time did the signature which included more massage and it was heavenly. I have had Vincent do my pedi and mani a few times now and he is so meticulous. The usually can accommodate walking in too, which is super helpful.

E. E.: I got a standard mani-pedi with regular, non-gel polish at this location.The location is new and very clean inside. Mostly very well ventilated and the air doesn't smell like cleaning chemicals or acetone outside of one small area. The chairs and equipment are new and clean.The pedicure was average, felt very perfunctory but I feel that is the case for most nail salons and nail treatments done outside of a spa setting. My boyfriend liked it so much he almost fell asleep it was so relaxing!The manicure was good too, and didn't take very long. They really push the gel polish here like most places. But I was shocked at how long my manicure lasted!Still going strong 10 days later. I would highly recommended if you need quality polish to last a long time.

It made me wonder if this whole time I've been going to nail salons and getting plain solid paint that I've been boring them.Let me tell you, the veracity of this woman. She came up with her own things to add to the design to make it better. She helped me choose colors she thought would work together, since I told her I wasn't too attached. Also - I HAVE NEVER HAD A HARDER TIME PICKING A NAIL COLOR. They have fantastic colors here. I feel like it took me 15 minutes to choose.My mom decided to treat me to the Super Deluxe Treatment, I don't know exactly what it was called, but it was hot stones, a super duper amazing massage -- they were laughing at me almost falling asleep, I was so relaxed, parafin wax treatment that felt like a hug on my feet, and all the while the massage chair was doing it's thing. I was so relaxed. Incredible considering where I was earlier that day.This AMAZING WOMAN, Lee, she was focusing so intently on my nails doing the delicate lines with a detail brush, when she took me over to the manicure table she put on her glasses and crawled on the floor to give me the top coat because she was so proud of her work. First she did it without glasses and then she put on her glasses to make sure it was up to her standard. I really felt like a canvas she was making a painting on.LEE YOU ARE THE BEST, I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY MY NAILS ARE MAKING ME.Anyway, she laughed at my hand dinosaur and all my stupid jokes and she talked to me as much as she could through her intense focus. I was so impressed. I felt so spoiled. I love her. I'm coming back as much as I can afford, and I made sure to take a lot of pictures so you guys know what you're missing. This place is a hidden gem. You'd never expect to find complete peace on Aurora, unless you're into certain illegal things, but damn if this place doesn't do it. 10/5 stars. Incredible experience. I was able to make my appt. directly on Instagram dm’s and sent them an inspo photo beforehand too. I have never done designs on my nails so I was a bit nervous, but they really took their time & they turned out perfect!! They feel like better quality too than how they normally feel when I get fake dip gel nails. The staff is also so friendly & I just felt very welcomed in here!! Clean salon & worth the price! Bails Palmer: I scheduled my first appointment with them after they responded to me almost immediately on instagram and helped me choose exactly which type of booking I was looking for. They had to cancel last minute after the appointment was booked but went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Each person I had spoken with, either via Instagram, the phone, or email was extremely responsive and helpful. I'd give them another shot just due to customer service alone.

I go in every two weeks for a shellac manicure/pedicure and the staff are always very welcoming. The space is relaxing and I’m always happy with the quality of nail art that’s applied - highly recommend the hot stone massage as an add-on!

Mehar: Been coming here for a year now. This has been the one place where I have NEVER had any issues. Their service has super high standards. The staff is polite and the atmosphere is very calming. They let you be and don't pressure you into a small talk, like other places. And their work is perfection. I have not had any issues ever with my nails and I visit at least once a month.
