It’s more expensive and harder to get an appointment for but the service is wonderful especially for people who need special care. Their focus is less on the polish part of the service and more on nail trimming and callous work. Go here for excellent foot and hand care, not for a quick spa moment or fancy nails.

Hope, who did my pedicure, is lovely and made me feel comfortable right away. I used to get medical pedicures in Switzerland so I was very pleased to discover that I could find a medical pedicure here. While medical pedicures are more expensive, they are done completely dry with sterilized tools which prevent any bacteria. They had a great shade range for gel and regular polish. $50 for a gel manicure is about the going price now. I felt well taken care of for the price. My nail tech was receptive when I was asking for small changes. Was a good experience at a new salon for me.

Harmony Jorden: I’ve been getting my nails done at Jolie regularly for the past couple of years and they do a really good job!Couple of things to know though. As far as I can tell, they don’t actually take appointments. If you call, they will say you have one but they don’t record it and when you come in you will be placed in queue same as anyone else that walks in. It can be helpful to call ahead during busy times though—which is basically any time after 4pm. They will tell you if they are busy and give you a time frame to come in based on the people there at that moment.The other thing is that there’s only one tech that does acrylics so you can end up waiting quite a while for her if that’s what you need to get done. They will often have someone else prep your nails then leave you waiting without any explanation as to what’s going on.I recommend going in the morning or early afternoon when they’re less busy. Otherwise, you may have to wait for half an hour or more.Other than that, they really do a good job and they are very nice! They have a HUGE selection of colors too!Update: they have brand new pedicure chairs that are super nice!

I have had Vincent do my pedi and mani a few times now and he is so meticulous. The usually can accommodate walking in too, which is super helpful.

Mostly very well ventilated and the air doesn't smell like cleaning chemicals or acetone outside of one small area. The chairs and equipment are new and clean.The pedicure was average, felt very perfunctory but I feel that is the case for most nail salons and nail treatments done outside of a spa setting. My boyfriend liked it so much he almost fell asleep it was so relaxing!The manicure was good too, and didn't take very long. They really push the gel polish here like most places. But I was shocked at how long my manicure lasted!Still going strong 10 days later. I would highly recommended if you need quality polish to last a long time.

Patricia Chirinos: I was running late for my appointment, and call to let them know, which was kindly taken. I arrive and immediately was attended by one of the nail technicians, a very calm and sweet lady who knew well what she was doing. She was very kind and careful not to damage my cuticles, unlike other salons have done in the past. I had a fill and change one tip which she did with such precision and detail. I explained her how I like my nails, and he did everything needed to achieve that what asked for. There was a problem with the UV light dryer which cause to botch the nail polish, but she didn't even think it twice, and redid the whole thing until it as virtually perfect. I left the salon very happy with the service they provided me with, and I will recommend anybody who truly is detail oriented, visit the salon as is just a wonderful how good they treat you!

Tessa R: Best nail salon I’ve been to in Seattle - and I’ve been to a lot in the Ballard/Greenwood area. A friend recommended Bolsa when I was in need of a new, better salon and I’ve never looked back. The women who work here are experts and genuine, good people to support. The massages are great, nails always look wonderful, solid color selection, and it’s a warm and relaxing space to be in. Not crowded, and you can keep to yourself or get to know the nice ladies working. 11/10.

You pay for what you get, which is perfection - price is fair. My nails last longer than 2 weeks and I still get compliments on them then. Miranda Girardi: The best gel manicure I’ve ever had! I found QAN after some quick googling and walked in. They were super sweet and had space for me immediately. My manicurist had very kind energy and was so patient with me while I deliberated over colors and eventually asked to change colors after the initial filing and cuticle prep.She was very detail oriented and my polish and cuticles were immaculate! I was also SO pleasantly surprised when she placed my hands in warmed lotion gloves and then walked around to give me a shoulder massage! That was then followed with a lovely hand and arm massage.I’d give them an award for best gel manicure and best value. I won’t go anywhere else to get my nails done when I’m in Seattle.
sydnie cudahy: I love this salon, it’s much cleaner than the few I’ve tried around downtown.. the ladies are nice and welcoming. I came in with the crustiest, shortest nails, and they did not judge or care and have helped me shape and grow them. Cindy is one of my favorites, they’re all sweet but there is something about how she takes so much time in my nails, making sure they’re perfect. I love this place. Jamie Carroll: Feeling very grateful to have discovered this gem of a nail spa in 2023. Sa & Han are the kindest & most skilled nail technicians! My pedicure is challenging as I get ingrown big toenails, but by coming here regularly my nail health has improved. Pedicures receive a sugar scrub with massage, and warm lotion massage with hot stones, AND a hot towel wrap. Manicure receives lotion gloves with massage. All of this is with basic spa mani/pedi, at $55.00! So, please, if you go tip a lot! They are amazing and so worth it.

The ladies listened carefully to what I requested and took care of my nails/toes gently. I got a classic red shellac on my toes and received a relaxing hot stone massage. They did a moisturizing hand glove mask for my manicure on my natural nails, and they made them shine. Both mani and pedi came out exactly as I hoped!

S Davis: I got my nails done yesterday by the sweetest women who I found out were mother and daughter. I will definitely be back. They both did an excellent job. One handled my manicure, the other the pedicure. I only knocked off one star because some of my cuticles were raw and stung a bit after I left. I think they took off a little more skin than they should have. Given that I hadn’t gotten a manicure or pedicure in over a month I don’t hold that against them.
Nichole Lipka: Very pleased with our first trip to this salon. She did everything I had asked for and it was a perfectly done fill. My daughter also got a manicure but it was essentially only a polish change + design, no soaking, cuticle trimming or lotion, if she had actually gotten a manicure then I would have given 5 stars. The paint on her nails was also not the same level of nice as what was done on mine, like her hearts were very misshapen and the base color wasn’t even.

TM Rosario: It's really hard to get my Mom out of the house because of COVID. Our mani-pedi date is something we can do that's fun and relatively safe. Mom calls ahead to make an appointment to both ensure we're not around a lot of people and so we can have our nails done together. However, today some wires got crossed because they did us one at a time, with one of us waiting. But thanks to their staff, they turned our experience around and made Mom feel truly pampered.

Tristie was SO sweet and made sure my vision for my manicure was executed to a T. Everyone on staff was so helpful and kind. I will definitely be back!
