Enes was wonderful - he cleaned my fireplace, fixed the problem, and stayed to make sure everything was working properly - and was done within the hour. I'd recommend them to anyone!
richard bartlett: Their technician came out to repair our fireplace insert in December 2023, when we really needed to get it working again, before the real cold hit.Ron worked with me to understand the other work that had been done on the unit by others. He did a great job replacing the broken parts, cleaned the whole unit, and do a through testing to make sure everything was functionating correctly.I've since referred Seattle Fireplace to friends and they experienced the same quality work. When he got back to the office he was able to set us up with a detailed quote, item by item and it was only a couple hundred dollars more than what he loosely quoted- I wanted a remote and that was why. I wouldn’t have held him to the loose quote but he was pretty spot on! They were booked out 7 weeks for install but we figured it was worth the wait and we had time. Once we accepted the quote a day after quote was delivered to us January 14th, they booked us for March 2nd and that’s exactly when they showed up! A crew of 2 arrived right on time, were very knowledgeable, professional, answered our questions and got started right away. They were able to run the gas line in under 2 hours which we figured would be the case since the gas meter is only 10 feet from where it was going into our fireplace. So we were only without gas to our house for a short time, not the whole day as quoted by the other company we talked to. They were tidy, communicative put everything they moved back in place, the gas line is totally inconspicuous and helped us move the furniture I moved out of their way inside back into place. I painted the inside of our fireplace with high heat black paint to clean things up in advance and a little got peeled off during the running of the line, they fixed it right up and had paint with them! It’s the most perfect set up, the logs fit perfectly, it looks WAY better than it did when it was a wood burning fireplace and it’s so easy to turn on for ambiance! We’re kicking ourselves that we didn’t do it sooner! Now I want to paint our ugly outer brick fireplace, something I couldn’t do before because of all the soot and smoke the wood burning created. My husband wasn’t totally on board with this project and in the end he’s happier than me about it all! They stayed in budget, delivered exactly what they said they would and installed right when they said they would! It was a wait that was TOTALLY worth it!

Tristan came out to service it, showed up on time, professional, got to work, found the thermalcouple failed, needed a replacement. He cleaned, replaced the part and re-arranged the logs. Sara Keesler: Ron from Seattle Fireplace came out last November to clean and maintain our fireplace and did a great job. Recently one of the parts needed replacing and he came out on Saturday to replace it. Extremely professional, I’d definitely recommend them!

Garry Lund: Seattle Fireplace installed a new gas fireplace insert in my home two years ago, when it suddenly stopped working I called and they responded quickly. As it turned out, there is a "receiver" for my remote control located behind the insert's surround that needed new batteries. They showed me where it is located and replaced the batteries all at no charge and it's working fine now. In fairness, I think they mentioned I would need to replace the "receiver" batteries when they initially installed my insert, but I forgot all about it, now I know how to replace the batteries myself. Thanks again for the prompt service.
Keegan Johnson: We called Seattle Fireplace to repair our gas fireplace. The technician, Enes, was able to fix and clean the fireplace in under an hour! He did an amazing job and gave great advice to maintain the fireplace going forward. We got a quote from another fireplace company prior to working with Seattle Fireplace who quoted us for several days work and 20x the price, which we found out was unnecessary from Enes. We completely trust Seattle Fireplace and would recommend them to others needing an honest assessment of their fireplace.

Jonathan Frazier: Our fireplace was only burning from one nozzle, and none of the companies I called had availability and worked on the older Lennox fireplace that we have. They all recommended Seattle Fireplace, which was able to schedule a service about 3 weeks out from when I called. Seattle Fireplace came out and diagnosed the issue, cleared out the spider nest blocking the nozzle, and did a routine service for under $200.

John Frear: It turns out this part is extremely hard to find. It's normally sold as part of a liner kit. I tried furnace specialists, hvac parts suppliers, fireplace businesses, hardware stores, and it was looking like I might need to hire a sheet metal manufacturing company to cut and build to my size specification, which I have been told would have a steep price tag. I'm glad I tried one more fireplace business...Guy seriously came to the rescue. Not only did he provide the part I need, he used his tools to cut and shape the part so it fit on short notice. He had an 18"x18" top plate but he cut it into the 12"x12" I need and he gave it a folded edge so it fits my chimney securely, and it uses welds to hold the chimney crown in place

Four separate people and they worked with me as if they were one! Even with Covid and back order delays, Everything just went so perfect! They were even able to get everything up and running before Christmas Eve!As you sometimes know, when you’re dealing with multiple people, it can become a nightmare, this was not the case. Nancie Boccio: Michelle waited on us and she stayed over an hour after closing to help us. She is absolutely the best store manager/sales person I have ever encountered. She knew everything about every product, was pleasant to deal with and totally customer focused. I just don't see the attention to the customer like this anymore and it was such a joy to deal with her. In addition she was efficient, and listened to what we wanted and was quick to figure out measurements. It took her 10 minutes to write up a significant amount of items and dollar value and her follow up was exceptional.I would definitely shop at Rich's again because of her incredible service!

While other shops won't touch it since it wasn't a brand they sell, Rich's was able to locate a user manual and when I couldn't do it myself, was able to come and service the unit. And when she wanted to replace an old log set in her bedroom, they came and measured the space to find the perfect unit and arranged for a flawless installation.

They had a technician at my house within an hour of my making the call for help. Cody was incredibly nice, very professional, and repaired my garage door efficiently and completely. This was truly some of the best service I've ever received. My garage door actually motor now goes up like it's brand new. He even managed to quiet the thing down, which is fantastic! Bob Greenberg: I called about purchasing a wireless thermostat control for our propane stove after a service tech from another shop had told us that we needed one because the wires connecting our existing thermostat to the stove were defective. The sales man at Custom Hearth walked me through a simple test that showed that the wiring was all right and that all we needed was an inexpensive replacement thermostat. I came by to purchase one from them, but they didn't have what we wanted in stock, so he directed me to another source. All in all, Custom Hearth saved us almost two hundred dollars and got nothing in return for their excellent service, other than this favorable review.
