Swansons Nursery: what do users think?

Mari MacLane: Great nursery, and a lovely Cafe with delicious treats! Good selection of healthy plants. House plants and gifts as well.Glad to see some native plants for sale here too!

Kellis Parker: . Great place to support, and it's a Very cool spot to bring kids. Great little Cafe with Vegan and GF options, too!

Ronald Buie: High prices but very helpful staff and great selection of quality cultivars. Recommend if you want a menu of high quality options for your garden and don't mind paying for the curation.

Xeno Campanoli: Trying to decide between another lunch at Swansons, or a multi-colored torso spanning lemur tattoo. Will update later.

Claire Gribbin: Lovely garden cafe with lots of plants, a koi pond and a nice neighborhood buzz.

Jacob Miner: Our kids love going to see the Koi pond and eating pastries from the cafe. They have great holiday decorations and tons of plants for our garden.

Magnolia Garden Center: what do users think?

Zach van Schouwen: Solid urban garden center with a pretty good plant selection. If I'm in Magnolia, I'm usually stopping here.

Sunil Khale: Low-key, but genuinely awesome if you're looking for plants

Keirsten Vest: Great nursery! Too bad I can't afford the prices here.

Paul Carr: The friendly and helpful staff at the Magnolia Garden Center helped me select and plant flowers in several large flower pots in my yard. Plants went in early this spring and have been evolving beautifully ever since. Never had such success with potted flowers before.

Zach Lauzon: Awesome selection of plants, supplies, and pots!

Sandra Ochoa: Helpful staff, great plants

Jessica J.: Very cute and well stocked plant shop and nursery! It’s in a little shopping district with some good restaurants and coffee nearby. I went in looking for a climbing rose and the clerk was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick between the 3 they had in stock.

E NS: and it just looks so good thank you.Besides that, the accessibility and parking are so easy in this neighborhood. If I ever moved far away, I would definitely have this be my go to nursery in the area. It might be a personal preference, but the shopping experience of going to a smaller place like this, versus a bigger place like Swanson’s feels way more relaxing. Some people have mentioned it is expensive but that’s most places are when you live in a city like this.. If you want affordable you’ll have to spring for Home Depot 😭- I reported Stephen Jones review to google

Nakisa Dehpanah: I got many indoor plants from here and after couple months they all still look great and healthy and growing so fast! Love my plants!

West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center: what do users think?

Stephanie Kale: , great prices, selection and more rare indoor plants. Staff are kind and helpful.

Amber Keppel: This place is lovely! The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a dangerous place for plant lovers to "just look"! I can't seem to leave without purchasing something. 🌿

Louise Lapus (louiseez): Got the loveliest plant babies!! So excited to plant them. This place has the cutest stuff and very organized. I really liked the variety of plants and supplies they had.

Marc Savidge: The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Always a good visit!

gingerlyfingers: A City Gem in a Tough World 😍

geofre: Not much for indoor plants or garden statuary but their outdoor selection is fantastic. They don't seem to be doing anything with terrariums anymore which is a bummer.

Tonya Perfect: Such a great experience each time I shop here. So grateful for the extra kindness Jones gave me today with the bird watching gift. Her suggestions were much appreciated. I'll be back and you should pop by too.

Allan Timlick: Great plants. Super nice, helpful people.

Fred Matthews: Got sweet pea seeds but they didn't have a ythi g for them to climb on.

Joshua Baez: My favorite plant nursery in all of Washington! Love the selection of plants and the amazing staff. They offer great classes and community events too.

Felipe Herrera: Great nursery with great prices and a very helpful team. We weren't really looking to buy anything but the staff and the selection were so great we took a couple small I door plants. They mostly carry outdoor plants and flowers but it's a great place to find beautiful plants!

Gnyanesh Gandhe: Great selection of plants, furniture and fun items!

Kristine Tran: I absolutely love this store, they have a good selection of outdoor plants that’s perfect for containers. Everyone is super helpful and love that it’s women-owned as well. Picked up a bunch of healthy plants and will be returning to get more.

Ravenna Gardens: what do users think?

Rachel Hessler: .I love it. I’m going to frequent Ravenna Gardens anytime I need plants. And I’ll need some this summer for other clients, and myself as well!

CARMEN THUNDER: Been coming here since they opened years ago. It’s always lovely and you will always find your new favorite plant and pot. I’m on a tropical kick. They have a beautiful display inside a kind of rustic tree house kind of in the city. Indoor and outdoor plants with helpful staff.

T Y: Well organized

Abq Tours: Love this store

Jorge Bartose: Beautiful nursery with very healthy assortment of plants to choose from. One of the best shops I've been to for live plants by far!

Sky Nursery: what do users think?

Hayley Bridwell: Pros: overall great to just walk through if nothing else. Super helpful staff and a really great variety of plants.Cons: Plant provided with misleading or lack of information. I once had let staff know that the Rue on display tagged as "great for tea" from the distributor is, in fact, toxic to ingest. Just bought some baby's breath to find out that apparently it's a noxious weed in WA with no notice on how to manage it.I'll still shop here and be very particular on what I purchase, but I have concerns on the research/knowledge of staff and their distributors.

Debra Doser: This place is amazing. They are still in the early preparations for the planting season, but I found so many things that I already want.So worth a trip!!

Joe Sestrich: Here's your top quality source for anything plant or landscaping. They're not cheap, but they do offer value.

Emily Brie Equi: Great selection and knowledgeable staff

Alex Sargeant: Still large.

Indoor Sun Shoppe: what do users think?

Sharon Pettit: Have known from Steuber Dist now gone started in the 1930s Indoor Sun Shoppe have been original and unigue.i worked with the store in the early 1980s and was one of the best retail plant store. Keep it going and bless you for what you doThanks Jon @ Steubers

kasey kotsiris: sean was incredibly helpful and kind during our first visit to the shop. He helped us pick out some perfect pet friendly plants that will work in our apartment setup and with our very beginner plant knowledge. He took a lot of time to make sure we were happy with our choices, can’t wait to go back! Definitely recommend everyone to go here, you’ll be super happy!

Asa Symons: Always great selection and customer service, and were very helpful when one of my plants was damaged in transit

Monica: My favorite plant shop in Seattle! Amazing selection, great prices, and helpful staff!

Jessica: , and they were selling the same plant of the same size for literally double! Just goes to show how Indoor Sun Shoppe is very reasonably priced compared to a lot of other small plant shops these days! I also appreciated that they didn’t charge a repotting fee when you buy a pot with your plant-which is kind of a rarity these days. Most places add an additional fee for that. Will be my go to spot from now on!

Carlie Phillips: Awesome plant store. Tons of healthy plants, lots of options for pots, will drill hole in the pot for you.

Kyle Huber: This is, hands down, the best plant shop in the city. The staff are knowledgeable and super helpful. Prices are very reasonable compared with other shops nearby.

Tamara Logan: We found a great selection of very healthy plants. Stag was very helpful.

Walt's Organic Fertilizer Co: what do users think?

Kelly Phelps: I buy my soft rock phosphate from Walt's. It is the only "true' rock phosphate in town, and is always in stock no matter the season. TIP: For any tomato transplant trim the lower stem of all vegetation leaving about 3 inches of leaves at the top. Throw in a handfull of rock phosphate in a hole deep enough for 10 inches of stem plus the root ball, backfill with your choice of soil, and enjoy the your tomato plants.

Vincent Rowland: Charming little garden shop with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Ethan Szmania: Been coming here for years. Knowledgeable staff, warm smiles , rich compost, nice selection of native plants.

Max Shenfield: , locally sourced where reasonable, and local open pollinated seeds

Michael Seacat: Great place. Good garden supplies, advice, plants, and homemade gifts for indoor and outdoor places!

Chad Mccaughan: Amazing little place! Staff is very knowledgeable!

Shaun: Friendly knowledgeable, awesome.I went to Walt's organic fertilizer store hoping to find his old formula but I picked up what they recommended my friend recommended me to go here. I'm glad I checked it out. I'll be back next year for my spring, summer crops.

KnightReiteR: Very neat little shop. Has a great selection of nutrients and uncommon plants. Very helpful people.

JENASCIA CHAKOS CARTER: Excellent service and selection! They are one of the few places that carry the worm tea concentrate that my plants love but I always end up leaving with something else, whether it be plants, amendments, tools or knick knacks! I just got a 6' fig tree for my mom when I went to restock my worm tea...

Katie Tompkins: The absolute best shade grass seed. Honestly, we tore up our yard, reseeded with Walt's shade mix and in 6 weeks the grass looks phenomenal. We have a very shaded backyard and the growth we've seen is unbelievable.

Cory Gaines: After experiencing this place for the first time, hell I’m impressed!

Vera Pera: Best place in Seattle for your urban gardening needs! Quality product and EXCELLENT customer service.

Maria Luther: A down-to-earth small business that cares about treating people right. I love the gardening supplies they've sent me over the past several years.

Ashleigh R: A super helpful employee helped me prepare to winterize my garden! Cute, unique trinkets and pots as well.

The Plant Store: what do users think?

Evan Trimble: Lovely little plant store. Knowledgable staff, super friendly and very helpful. Took a class there as well and had a great time.

Brandy Ells: The lady working here was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I was looking for dirt for a cutting and even though that's all I was there to purchase, she gave me a huge pile of cuttings she had intended to discard. It was a bright spot in my time there, and very much appreciated.

Summer Jupin: Love the plant selection and the service

Bailey Kahue: This store is such a gem. They have a great variety of plants/terrariums at great prices. The tube terrarium workshop was so fun. Miles was so funny and knowledgeable.

Chase King: This plant store has it all, including equally top-notch customer service from the employees! Rare gem of a store and definitely worth making a visit.

Heather Reuble: My cousin and I took a class at The Plant Shop last week where we learned how to mount plants to hang. Miles was awesome! He was funny and real and engaging, and his passion for and knowledge of plants is amazing. I love my new stag horn fern and I will absolutely be back. This place is a gem!!

Kim Baker: Love The Plant Store! The selection and prices are great and the space is mindfully curated. The owner is a horticulturalist and the whole staff is friendly and very knowledgable. Other highlights: unique terrarium supplies, cheap cuttings wall, classes, and when they have thoughtful freebies like affirmation cards or roses just because. Highly recommend.

Justin Miller: Ordered online and I was very impressed with the plants, price, service, speed, customer service, packing, and general awesomeness. I honestly could not ask for anything else in a business. Always A+++!

Gabrielle Rafert: Want to be surrounded, wrapped in all green glow? Go here. The Plant Store is an absolute oasis in my favorite little town. This shop has repeatedly displayed a highly diverse and cared for plant selection.Diverse in species and price range, plant sizes, shapes, colors, textures and cultural conditions. There not only plants, but beautiful pots too. ….There’s a sticker rack too! Other assorted goodies throughout the year, always something a bit different and new. This shop is packed with plants yet never feels crowed, just perfectly cozy.Everything you need to get started if you’re new to the houseplant adventure, and plentyto explore even if you’ve been in it awhile. Barone Garden: what do users think?

谭梅: Nice place friendly service. Nice fountain for my yard.

Michael Bigelow: Things you never see anywhere else.

Brent Sanders: This place is amazing! Lots of great prices on a wide variety of pots. They have the best prices on real stone pagodas. I love mine. Service is awesome and owner is super friendly. My favorite part was the Martin weasel that lives on the property, I've never seen one in the wild but this elusive guy keeps the mice at bay.

Thomas Wingard: Endless selection everything you wanted for your yard and more

Safety First: Long story short, Barone has 5 star service, they are really good at what they do and they are reliable. I called hoping to get our fountain serviced before an upcoming party. Barone actually answered my call… an actual live person! He was so kind as I tried to explain what I thought was wrong with the fountain; he carefully listened to what I told him and he was able to remedy the problem over the phone. He squeezed us into his schedule late on a Saturday afternoon! They actually showed up right on time and just came in like rockstars and fixed the fountain. They were so professional and we were so happy to see our fountain looking better than it ever has. I 100% Highly recommend Barone for fountain service and their retail location has an amazing selection.

Ed Taylor: Got some great ideas. We'll be back

Ice Qu: UPDATE: Oct. 2022My plant pot purchases have held up well! Love being able to match the pottery to the season or plants I want to enjoy. Now with construction in the area changing things up a bit, getting into and out of Barone Garden is much easier. Also easier to load up your purchases now. If you've avoided this shop because of the crazy hillside or weird parking, that should not be a concern anymore. It's a great place to find that certain landscape or gardener's special something.......I have driven by here too many times to count, always afraid I couldn't afford anything they had. Wrong! Happy to report they do have lovely different kinds of pots, statuary and other garden ornaments and fun things for all price ranges.I finally found a "forever" pot home for my coffee plant and I am thrilled! The employee even helped me pick out a wheeled tray for it so we can move the plant according to the seasons of sunlight through our windows.Well worth a browse, whether for yourself or a gift or project.Notes: Uneven walking surfaces, so be aware. Also parking can be tight during busy times.

Dragonfly Wing: I love this place!!My husband came back here and got me this as a surprise!!

Clinton Cole: Prices seem a little bit high but I was able to find one under $100 that was very good quality and just what I wanted. I would recommend this place just based on variety

Steve Ball: Many more new items for sale. By far the best statuary/outdoor garden ornament store in King/Snohomish County.

GONGGUAN DING (G O I): Perfect gardening products

Bill Merriman: There are not enough stars in this review do do justice to Baro and Barone Gardens!I cannot say enough about this company with regard to service, response, expertise follow-up and just old fashion customer service. We finished one major project in the fall and Baro and his staff went out of their way to install and make sure EVERYTHING as perfectly satisfactory..We will be installing a smaller feature next month once our latest project is complete.THANKS BARO...YOU HAVE BECOME A FRIEND AND TRUSTED EXPERT IN WATER FEATURES!

Juleen Keller: So many pieces to choose from. The gentleman who helped us was very attentive, and knowledgeable.

Beverly Clark: They have a huge supply of quality stone garden art! The owner and employee were very helpful to me in making my selections for purchase. Even when I had buyers remorse and changed my mind they happily removed the first fountain I purchased from the car and loaded it's replacement. I will definitely be shopping there again!

Suski J: They have beautiful garden decorations. Lovely fountains, big and small. Various stone benches. So much.
