David De Maria: I have been going to Pro Club for several months now. I typically go in the morning around 9am. The gym is quiet… Not a lot of people. But, enough to make you feel not alone. I definitely get my choice of what machines I want without having to wait. The gym is super clean. The staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are great too. Very clean and organized. There is a wet and dry sauna along with a jacuzzi. showers too. Parking is easy and they validate. So far so good…. I recommend!

Dumbbells in increment of 2.5 lbs are nice too. There are multiple power racks and 8 squat racks. Wish they would put in a few platforms for squatting and deadlifting as the floor has some give. Also wish the bench press setup would be more updated. Overall I had a great experience and really enjoyed lifting here!

Heather A Adams: This place is awesome! I’ve been to two classes here, dance club with Medora and the Afrobeats class and both were doable for a first timer. I have had dance class experience, but I had never been to these classes before and the way they are formatted means that you can scramble along even if you’ve never been there before. There are 2 to 4 minute songs, and the eight counts are repeated so you can pick it up after a while. I can see where if you come from week to week, you would have the dances down like the rest of the class. The biggest, and most lovable thing about community fitness is the warm and friendly reception I’ve had each time I’ve come there. Not just by the teachers but by the class members . I always seem to have a conversation or get high-fives or encouragement from the people around me. They have towels and water and lots of space to store Your stuff. Registration is efficient, parking isn’t terrible in that area. I’m excited to try more classes even though I live about 30 minutes away from here.

Morgan Bentley: I love community fitness! Dance club on Mondays and Wednesdays is by far my favorite class! Its difficult to make it to other classes as there are no early morning classes so the odd schedule has prevented me from applying for the monthly membership. Buying the class packages is the next best option.

Claire Nelson: I love community fitness. The instructors are great, and I try to get to as many classes I can. That being said, it's tough when you work a 9-5. I feel like a lot of the classes are during the work day which really limits the types of classes I can do. There are a ton of dance classes after work, but I prefer the weight lifting/barre/Pilates classes. I would also love to go to classes in the morning before starting my workday too, but unfortunately the earliest class as of lately is at 8:30am.

A couple personal faves: Susan Slater's signature style of fun, high energy and daily celebrations. Kat Dowrey's dance classes are filled with butt-shaking moves and laughter. A member nearly 10 years, I love the variety of offerings. My father joined me until his final months at age 94, shaking his butt with the rest of us. He was madly in love with Susan who treated him like the rock star he is. Come join the fun!

Jacob M: Sad this location is closing 4/13/2024The gym was a perfect place to get familiarized with exercising and lifting weights. It had a diverse demographic and felt inclusive with minimal "gym-fluencers". The high schoolers were annoying but ignorable, occasional broken equipment, and not always the cleanest, but ALWAYS had great customer service and was affordable.I hope they can find a new location and re-open because of the people that work there. They transferred membership to LA Fitness - they have *terrible* reviews from local guides and regular reviewers. I do not want to give them my money or be judged by their employees/clients/etc.

Beware the afternoons however, as a large group of high schoolers come in pretty regularly and act exactly how you would expect- loud, dropping weights, not cleaning up after themselves, etc. Just kids being kids, but best get your workout in the mornings or evenings to avoid the annoyance factor.

Chris: Amazing price, staff, and quality of equipment. Everyone in the reviews that is upset about teenagers being in the gym is being a baby. Everyone pays the same amount , and it’s a shared space. Not to mention this gym is so much cheaper than LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and most big name gyms. Overall I give this gym 10/10!

Heather Davis: , lift weights, and run on the treadmill. I also wanted the equipment to be highly available so I didn’t need to wait around, and the whole place to be clean and well maintained. There’s a lot of care and attention Seattle Athletic Club puts into having a clean, comfortable location. It’s always well staffed, there’s always parking, and they communicate with members about upcoming changes. They take care of the big things and the small things like hairdryers, cotton swabs, machines to wring out your swimsuit and bags, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers, plenty of lockers with locks, large and small towels, and special social events. It’s a great place to work out - maybe even on those days you don’t quite feel like it.

Robert Hobbs: I had a less than favorable first impression of the club and was prepared to give up and join the nearby gym. Lena, however, had other ideas! My interest in this facility was piqued by her friendly greeting; the abundance of lessons offered and the cutting-edge equipment sealed my choice to join. Tristan Ingold: This is an amazing gym for a seasoned lifter or someone that is making a workout their news resolution. For Seattle the membership fee is affordable and you get so many perks. Also it’s a month to month membership so they do not lock you into a long term contract. On the perks, they have a sauna, locker rooms, a weight room, cardio room, and they offer tons of classes that come free with the membership!

Levi West (W&BM): Went and tried a 3 day pass and did a yoga class. Ended up really liking the yoga class and the staff and trainers I met we're all welcoming and same with the members that I worked out with.

Noah Taylor: Fremont Health Club is a phenomenal gym. I previously went to the LA fitness in Ballard however it was always over crowded and chaotic. FHC has a much better workout environment and never feels too crowded. They recently added some premium equipment making this already great gym even better. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, I highly recommend joining this gym.

Taylor at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind over the phone and in person. Star employee.

The instructors are incredibly kind and always eager to provide individualized support. Their encouragement and guidance have made a world of difference in my fitness journey. Furthermore, the owner's generosity with membership policies is genuinely commendable and has made it possible for my entire family to enjoy the benefits of this amazing facility. I can't recommend this gym highly enough — I don’t ever write reviews, but it's truly a five-star establishment.

Emily Louden: Rain City Fit is truly the “third space” in my life. Outside of work and my house, I spend most of my time here. The people are welcoming and I have met some of my closest friends here. I’ve never been worried about messing up an exercise, needing a spot, or not knowing how to use a machine. The owners are welcoming and considerate. The gym is not just inclusive of queer people, it’s made up of some of the most loving queer individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Also, it’s dog friendly! What’s not to love?

Yi Chiang: Great location and amenities! I had a great time as a member of this gym; often taking advantage of the salt water pool and indoor basketball court.The equipment here has definitely seen better days and I eventually transitioned to another gym since that was more important in my book.The crowd here definitely caters more towards the older crowd, which was not ideal for me. However, If you’re looking for a place with many amenities and a great staff, look no further… I couldn’t recommend this place and its staff anymore if lifting isn’t your top priority.

Bradley Patton: For the past few months, I've been a member of this gym, and I can't rave about it enough! With its wide variety of amenities, this gym really distinguishes out from the competition, which is why I joined with no hesitation. There are a few interesting things about this place, including the fact that it's never crowded and the personnel, especially Lucky. My recommendation of this gym to friends has been aided by their encouragement.

Michael Schimke: My renewed enthusiasm in working out can be attributed to my new employment. A SAC membership is a health benefit provided by my employer. I just finished my first week of exercise, and while I'm a little sore, it's in a nice manner. I adore everything I'm learning from the incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming personnel here.

Ofc it could always be better with better furniture, better lockers, better atmosphere, better whatever but it does the job, it has a ton of various cardio equipment, lots of weights, various classes and can't beat the location. I do think the enrollment fee is a scam especially given how outdated this place is but i didn't have a choice. The pool is outdated and short in length [20 yards] but it is the only one available in this area so i appreciate it. Staff so far has been nice.

I gladly brought 12 irreplaceable treasures home because it appeared like everyone in this wonderful city couldn't get enough, making my time in Texas very memorable.

Parking can be free, depending on the time. a first-rate spa and a friendly staff. No issues. This place is fantastic. I wholeheartedly urge everyone to join Seattle Athletic Club!

Becca Kretschman: I’ve come to this gym for over five years. As a former regular gym rat and cycle class person, this is a far superior experience, product, and community. I was super intimidated by CrossFit but Rohan and all of the coaches are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Any workout is adaptable for all body types, ability, and injury. I’ve even moved across the country and maintained my membership so I can attend classes virtually. The workouts are great, but the people are what really make this place special.

Soo Yi: I’ve been a member of this gym for about a year and absolutely love it! The coaches are great. I’ve always been active but was intimidated to focusing on lifting weights. Everyone is so friendly and there is a huge community here at this gym.

Suba Chandrasekaran: I highly recommend EBCF! I joined EBCF over a year ago as I was looking for a gym that would help me build a better fitness routine to become healthier and stronger. I have always been an active person as I love to do yoga, run, hike, etc., but never felt stronger when doing these activities. I would sign up for gym memberships that had all of the equipment you could ask for, but I never had a clear workout plan that helped me progress to the next level.EBCF changed that immediately as the programs are challenging and are focused on strengthening all areas of the body! The workouts can easily be modified or scaled if I didn’t feel comfortable and the coaches are very supportive in working with me to achieve my fitness goals. However, my favorite part of EBCF is the community! I have met amazing, like-minded people at EBCF and I’m always excited to get a good workout in with a great group of friends!

Evan Neubauer: I've been a member of EBCF for a few years, but I was completely blown away when, early in the pandemic shutdowns, Rohan and team moved their entire operation seamlessly online and haven't missed a day since. While we're all looking forward to being back in the gym in person, I have been able to stay more active than anyone I know because of the hard work of Rohan and the coaches at EBCF. I think anyone in Seattle interested in a solid fitness community should check them out.

Andria Hansen: I love the Elliott Bay Community Fitness at home workouts. They are relatively short but are high intensity which is perfect when trying to squeeze it in while the kiddos are napping. I like how every day is different and how the workouts are thoughtfully designed to work every part of your body throughout the week. I have been doing them for about a month and have already noticed changes in my body. My legs have never been stronger!

Lawrence Fosnick Davis: Lots to do here. Classes of all sorts, 2 swimming pools, sauna, steam rooms, personal training, circuit training, weight room and lots more! They have child care tooThe new addition opened up and is a nice space to do a variety of exercises.New classroom for exercise added bringing the total to three and a ton of new classes!Also, 2 pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room.

Robin Bajra: Local establishment that been around for a long time, keep keeping on. Least amount of the riff raff in any other gym in the Seattle area that I notice, raise the rates please to keep that going, lol.

Matt Coleman: It's a treat to go the gym here. It's nicely appointed and generally not crowded.
